Alexander Carrow

The briefing as it went was fairly standard fare. Here are the objectives and here's who's doing them, complete with operational code names from The Second World War (Ok so Alex is kind of a military history buff). Just as they're about to get started the biggest guy in the squad comes grabs a seat next to him.

"stick close kid, I'll keep you alive." Alex chuckled a bit

"I mean I guess I could always use you as cover. After all you're a better door than you are a window."

After the briefing he had fully intended on going back to his bunk to do some light reading or maybe listen to music when all of a sudden the voice of Sergeant Foley came over the comms again ordering them all to the squad room again.

When Alex arrived the rest of the squad was already in there and sitting down so he slotted in on the row behind them. Leaning over forward so he could talk to everyone in the row in front he groused "Everyone notice the military seems to think the world is ending everytime the smallest thing happens?"
