While Garchomp was pondering his existence and why Pawn wasn't short for Pawnson, despite John being short for Johnson, he heard, outside his Pokeball, the conversation between Titania and Touko. He waited for it to be finished, (And for Touko to walk away), to get out of his Pokeball to say hello.

He did just this, to Titania's surprise. "Hello!", he said, extending his arm for a handshake,"I am Gary the Garchomp, but you can call me Gary. Your friend Touko has told me a lot about you". He looked at Titania expectedly, waiting for her to shake his hand (claw?).
