The Story
It's in the middle of winter and there's been a blizzard raging on outside of the mansion, trapping everyone inside. Everyone is passed out downstairs in the cellar of the mansion and slowly they start to wake up to realize where they are. The walls are old and cracked and stained with what looks like blood. The floors are a plain grey tile with what looks like more blood and the door large and made out of steel thats dead bolted shut. The cellar is dark and small.
Jillian Kent
Jillian moaned quietly and sat up rubbing her head with her palm and looking around. There was nothing to see but blackness all around her until a blindingly bright light flicked on causing her to cringe back. She slowly opened her eyes again as the light faded into a dim glow taking in the scene around her. The place was old and musty and looked like a dungeon. She sighed and slowly slid her legs off the small cot that she had been laying on and stood up noticing more of the cots in the room that also had people asleep on them. "What the hell?" She asked herself as she started walking to the stairs only to find the door at the top locked with dents and scratches in the surface. She sighed and sat down at the top of the stairs and set her head in her hands trying to remember the last thing she could.
She had just gone upstairs for the night. Her mother was on the couch asleep from working all day. She had sat down on her bed and tied her hair up to keep it from falling into her face and that was the last thing she could remember. She stood up and started walking back down the stairs and over to the two other cots that were in the room taking a good look at the people that were asleep. One was another girl who almost had the same color hair as her and the other was a guy with long black hair and facial piercings. "Great crowd." She muttered to herself and sat back down on her cot waiting for the others to wake up.
Holding her pocket knife to her chest, Equenn felt her hair. No bed head, thank God, she thought, as she saw the other people sleeping in identical cots. One girl just happened to be awake. Equenn accidentally dropped her knife when she saw her, and fumbled to recover it. Whenever Equenn felt threatened or if one of her family members were in danger, she'd reach for her pocket knife, getting ready to attack. She felt for the handle and pointed it straight at the girl.
"S-stay back...I'm warning y-you!"
He walked over to the girl that was pointing a knife at the other woman, "Hey, calm down none of us know where we are so just put the knife down" he said in a concerned tone. He didn't want anyone getting hurt after-all and wanted to find out where he was because this place felt evil to him. You know that feeling in the back of your head that tells you when something doesn't seem right?. Well that was what he was feeling right now at this place.
"Hello, I'm Equenn! You can call me Pony...I have a way with equines so, there you go! Explanation of my name."
Before he could react, Equenn grabbed his hand and shook it before sitting back down on her cot, her smile fading. She sighed silently and looked up at the red and gray stone ceiling. Was that blood? She shivered again and looked back at the other two awake people.
It looked like blood, dried blood but still blood and how did it get up there he wondered?
Then he looked at Jillian "What do you remember before being taken to here?, i woke up here and i saw a creature because i woke up before you guys, it was not human i am going to say that" He said with a frightened tone.
"N-nice...tiger...come 'ere, kitty...no, stay b-back..."
She slowly sat up as she took everything in. From the dim light, she could see cracked, peeling walls and tattered curtains. She swung her legs off the left hand side of the cot & sat there for a moment.
"Hello?" she called out nervously. She stood up and looked at the other people who appeared to be just as confused as herself.
"Does someone mind explaining what in the world is going on?" She asked crossly as she folded her arms. "Is this some kind of joke or something?"
The last thing Abbie remembered was her brother's whispered words to her before she fell asleep.
"You're not the Chirnside that's gonna make it." He had told her with a belittling grin on his face.
Then she woke up in this place.
"Oh God! What the fuck are you?!" Abbie heard in the hallway.
She raced out to see what was going on and didn't see anyone.
"I must be imagining things." She muttered under her breath.
Whatever that thing was, it wasn't friendly and it looked hungry when it looked at Markus, he is just lucky he made it out of there alive.
"I...I'm ready for you! Y-you don't touch anyone in this room! I'm w-warning you, you...y-you monster!"
Without thinking, she wrapped her arms around him and gave him a hug. After about 3 seconds, she let go in shock and just sat on the floor right where she was.
Abbie felt so useless in that moment. 'How the hell are we going to get out of here?' she thought as she scanned the room for a weapon.
"It's very nice to meet you." She gave a nervous smile before continuing.
"What do you think we're up against here? Should we explore?"
"What are you waiting for? Markus' tied up, so we can go."
"Oh sh--" She managed to scream before slapping a hand over her own mouth, dashing away from the wet pile as fast as possible. "Come on, before it comes back!" Equenn screamed to the two others.
"Ok, you two, Markus and Abbie, go into that hallway. I'm going to patroll this hallway."
As they walked off in seperate directions, Equenn wondered if that was really a clever idea. Shrugging the thought off, Equenn opened and closed at least two doors before she caught the first sign of another monster attack. Walking a few steps further, Equenn felt like she was walking through an ice-cold shower, when suddenly the temperature rose again. Equenn walked backwards. Cold. Even further backwards. Warm. She looked up at where it was cold.
And what she had been walking through was none other than a headless, bloody ghost.
She screamed.
She couldn't.
OOC: Thinking of Homestuck Trolls right now, and how my troll keeps on dying...
Abbie heard everything, from Equenn's barked order to her scream in the hall way but she couldn't move.
Get up.
A cold, foggy voice that only Equenn heard echoed across the hallway. She tried to scream again but couldn't. Her lips didn't even move.
I said, GET UP.
Equenn tried to rock herself back and forth so that she would regain sense, but she couldn't move an inch.
GET UP!
The voice was a sonic boom in Equenn's mind. Instantly she crawled to her feet, feeling cold and stiff. What was that voice? Walking cautiously to the other hallway's entrance, Equenn could see Abbie.
"A-Abbie, a-are you alright?"
Jillian screamed as something grabbed Markus and drug him out into the hall. She glanced around the room. Three others were still asleep and Markus had just come back into the room losing a lot of blood from his shoulder. "What the hell was that?" She asked with the other girl in the room watching as The small blonde cut a piece from her shirt to wrap his shoulder up. She listened to them talk about monsters and shook her head. "There's no way. None of that is real!" She said looking from face to face in disbelief. "There are no zombies, vampires, werewolves." She was cut short by a howl that made her jump.
After the howl everything happened so fast she found herself split up from the group in a dark hallway. "Hello?" She asked turning around as something hit the floor behind her. She jumped as she heard one of the girls scream. "This is bullshit." She muttered kneeling down and pulling out one of her knives she kept in her boots. "Markus? Equenn? Abbie?" She called down the hall, jumping at every sound she heard in the small hallway.
Her left eye was hanging by few small but long nerves, touching the middle of her cheek. Blood was streaming out of her nearly empty eye socket.
"Um...Jillian? HELP ME!"
She walked down the stairs carefully and stopped when she reached Equenn. "Tell me what you need me to do." She said as she kneeled down. "You need to go find Markus." She barked at Jillian. "Make yourself useful."
Who was screaming?
Oh. Yeah. Right. She was.
"SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET! This HURTS SOOOO MUCH!"
Nicolette's sleep was filled with fitful dreams of Vegas and allyways. Backdoor deals and drugs. None fully stayed with her when she woke. Only bits and pieces like the smokey taste on her tounge and the feel of bright neone lights in her eyes. With a yawn, she stretched and sat up, a pain shooting up her spine with the movement. What the hell...? She thought, looking down at the ground. Below her was not the soft, plush, four post bed at her aunts house, but a hard and cold concrete floor. Kniting her eyebrows, she looked around the place, eyes slowly adjusting from the bright lights of her dream to the dim lights of her current location.
As the fuzz slowly cleared from her mind, Nicole found that she was in some sort of basement and the disgusting, coppery smell of blood hung in the musty air around her. "What the hell?" She repeated in a groggy voice with a slight french accent, this time out loud. Where was she? She'd fallen asleep in her bed at home on break from the boarding school and now she was in some dusty old basement? It didn't make sense. Standing, Nikki's foot connected with something cold and hard, sending it spiraling across the concrete floor with a loud scraping noise.
After regaining her balance, she found the source of the sound. A gun, lying at her feet. She'd kicked it when she'd stood and it had spun it's way across the ground to thump against a closet door. Bending, Nicolette picked up the cold metal object and spun it in her hand. Whoever's it was, it's mine now. She thought and slipped it into her belt. Standing back, Nikki took in her suroundings once more, sliding her fingers through white-blonde hair. Whipping open the closet door, she found it empty and sighed, slamming it closed again with a frustrated huff.
She was trapped down here? That hardly seemed fair. "Hello?!" Nicole shouted into the darkness, walking slowy to the wall so that she could place her hand on it and walk, sliding her fingertips along it's rought surface. Corner. Turn. Another corner. Turn. Wood, keep walking. Wait. Wood? She backpedaled a second and slid her fingers around until she found a handle. A door! Shaking the handle, she found it unlocked and grinned. At least she wasn't trapped anymore. Outside the door lay a long dark passage and suddenly Nicole didn't feel so happy to be let out. "Hello?!" She repeated, calling out into the darkness before her. Fear is just another word for motivation baby girl. Once you learn that, you can take on anything. The only helpful words her father had ever given her bounced about in Nikki's head and caused her feet to move forward, down the hall, up a staircase, and out into was seemed to be a gigantic gothic-style mansion. Great. Now what? "Hello?!" Nikki called one last time, hoping maybe she wasn't alone.
Jillian just watched in horror as the blonde turned to her revealing her eye hanging from her face. "Oh my god." She cried as she stumbled back. She fell onto her ass and just kept watching as the nerves holding onto the eye snapped and it fell to the ground. As Markus picked her up and took her downstairs leaving her there with Abbie she turned over to her hands and knees and gagged a few times until she heard someone calling out. "Hello?" She called back to the voice.
A voice echoed it's way towards her. "Hello?" Her heart jumped out of her chest and Nicole, whirled about. She couldn't tell where it was coming from, but the voice quivered and she could tell that whomever it belonged to was scared. At least that meant they were stuck in the same situation as she was. Continuing her way into the mansion she came to a grand foyer with two large staircases winding up to an upper level. That voice... I came down at me.. Maybe.. She looked up into the darkness, and took a cautious step up the stairs, hearing them groan loudly beneath her wieght.
She stopped for a second, wincing as the stair buckled under her. Were these safe? Who cared? She'd done more dangerous things. Taking a deep breath, Nicolette flew up the stairs, heart pounding as they broke just a second after she lifted her foot off them. When she reached the top, she had to leap and grab tightly to the dusty floors ahead of her. "Dammit." She hissed to herself and the darkness, hanging there for a second before hauling herself to safety.
Once she was up on the second floor, she glanced back at the other staircase. Perfect condition. Of course. Rolling her eyes, she stepped forward. "Hello?" She called again, hopping she was headed the right way.
Again Jillian heard the girls voice call out and by this time she had regained her composer. "Who's there?" She called back as she stood up and looked at Abbie who was still with her in the hallway.
"Oh...shi--" Equenn never got to finished her sentence. The werewolf snatched her off the ground and snarled directly at her, sending saliva and blood onto her face. Angered and hungry, the lycan held her by her side and tore her left arm off, bouding away with her arm in its mouth. Equenn couldn't take this anymore.
Equenn's cord of sanity snapped.
The werewolf's scarring bite had turned her blood blue, and also morphing both of her eyes into bright orange eyes of torture, repairing her missing eye. Her right eye's pupil split into eight tiny pupils, all connected in the center of her eye. Her other arm's movements were quicker now, as she reached up to her torn sleeve, her entire body shaking as she gritted her teeth and moved her arm upwards. Feeling the severed part of her sleeve and arm, she howled, now on all fours. Her skin turned a light gray as it puffed up into fur, her clothes dissolving into her skin. Even her werewolf form was mauled and covered in blue blood, with horns sprouting from her head. Each was the color of candy corn, with dark orange at the bottom segment, a lighter orange in the middle, and a very bright orange at the top, which took up most of the horn. Her entire human form was different now, her hair dark black with two vampire-like fangs replacing her human canine teeth. The transformation had even morphed her human clothes, now giving her a jacket and a black shirt with black jeans and dark gray shoes.
(I'm just recreating Vriska Serket here from Homestuck, heh. WITHOUT glasses.)

(I don't own this character, let alone Homestuck)
B'cuz they're epic.
And no, the image isn't mine, and Homestuck belongs to Andrew Hussie, or someone like that ::::)
Equenn ran straight up the stairs, and strangled Markus with her single arm. Blue blood squirted out of her arm as she picked him up by his neck, throwing him down the stairs like she had gone down. Racing back down the stairs, she picked him up by his neck again before he could touch the bottom.
Markus was on the stairs and suddenly was picked up and strangled by Equenn, he had just seen her turn into a werewolf, and then she threw him down the stairs and caught him before he touched the bottom, "Equenn, i'm sorry, i tried, please i tried damnet!" he yelled with tears rolling down his face. He knew that she wasn't the same thing anymore, she was a werewolf now with no compassion or soul. Markus got blue blood on his clothes and his face, tears mixing with blue blood and becoming blue tears, he didn't want to die.
"Who the HELL is Equenn, bitch?!" Equenn sounded older than she used to be. She threw Markus at the wall, but inches before he touched it, she caught him by the leg and darted up the stairs again. Much to Markus' surprise, she ran into the next hallway, where everyone else stood. Her blood splashed against the walls, covering the left side of her face with it. Looking at the nearest person she could see from a few yards/feet away, she decided to taunt Abbie.
"Got your boyfriend, ABBIE."
"Vriska--Vriska, what are you doing!?" A boy about her age but a bit smaller with enormous bull horns was being held in the air by his neck. The girl who's eyes Equenn was seeing out of was holding a big, sharp lance, pointed at his chest. The boy was wearing a black t-shirt with a brown Tauros horoscope sign on it, which looked like a circular necklace of sorts.
"Goodbye, Tavros. I don't care about you anymore."
The girl, quickly and gracefully, stabbed the boy in the middle of the circle, throwing him off into the abyss behind her. The lance, covered in brown blood, had at least a foot of it sticking out of his back. She watched as he hopelessly fell, wearing an expression of sorrow and shock.
Equenn woke from her sleep, looking over to her right. Markus was there. She roared and flailed her right arm at him, but was too weak and her eyelids fell again. She managed to keep them open a bit, though.
Cute.
Even when coated in blood.
And in her evil form. She sneezed.
He was sitting in a wheelchair, and the girl was driving him around, steering wildly using his horns. He looked wide-eyed and a bit frightened, but didn't move. "Vroom!" The girl shouted as they flew off the edge of a cliff.
Abbie took a deep breath before standing up, tears still streaming from her eyes, and walked back up the stairs and into the dark hall way where she found a small doorway. She crawled through the doorway and sat in the small, damp box-like room she had found before going into hysterics. All she had been trying to do was give Markus the ability to get away. She was trying so hard to protect this small group of strangers and was starting to feel like she was useless.
As she sobbed, she felt a claw-like object slowly brush her left shoulder.
"I don't know which one of you ass holes that is," she exclaimed through her sobs. "But it's not fucking funny!"
She turned around to see which one of the group was trying to play the joke on her and saw a hollow face in the dark.
She let out a blood curdling scream before she fainted.

"Please, clap your hands so we can save Vriska Bell!" Said the boy with the enormous, candy-cane colored bull horns. This time, the dream had the same two gray-skinned and horned teens in it, with quite a few more in the tiny audience. No one clapped. But then there was a buzz coming from the audience that sounded like a chainsaw. On the ground, the girl who Equenn always took the perspective of rolled her eyes as her friend Kanaya pointed her white, polished chainsaw at the rest of the audience. Immediately they started clapping and cheering, slowly trying to edge away from Kanaya. The girl gave Kanaya a wink before standing up and kissing the boy, who was dressed as Peter Pan. The curtains shut rapidly.
Equenn awoke with a gasp, before breaking into another tear-filled fit again. "God, I just want to see him once more...just send me back to my friends!"
((OOC: Tavrus isn't actually dead <3))
"V-Vriska?" Equenn nearly threw a punch to his face. "H-how the FUCK do you know my name?!"
The setting changes from Clintwood Mansion to The Attic
"Damnit!" she shrieked as she turned to run from the pair. It was obvious they weren't going to be of any use. If she was going to get away, she was going to have to figure it out for herself. She'd come back for the others later.
Within 30 seconds, she was out the door and down the hall way where she saw a cord hanging vicariously from the roof. She tugged on it to reveal a trap door with a folded ladder attached to it. Curious, she pulled the ladder down and climbed into a small, dusty attic full of boxes, cob webs and darkness.
The setting changes from The Attic to Clintwood Mansion
"I fixed you."
"Crippled now. HA. That's what my BOYFRIEND had to fucking GO THROUGH MOST OF HIS LIFE, BEING CRIPPLED WITH NO ONE TO HELP YOU."
*No pun intended*
The setting changes from Clintwood Mansion to The Attic
There was something about it that was so cold. It could have been the air but Abbie felt a shiver down her spine as she went deeper into the labyrinth of boxes. This place wasn't safe and she didn't like it at all.
After going through 4 different doorways, Abbie turned back to find the others. She didn't feel comfortable exploring around the attic by herself, besides, she needed someone stronger to lift some of the boxes out of her way. The ceiling was too low to climb over all of them and after trying and failing to lift one particular box about four times, she had very sore triceps. She started crawling back towards the ladder.
"Markus! Equenn! You guys have gotta see this!" She called out, not sure if they could hear her.
The setting changes from The Attic to Clintwood Mansion
Vriska tugged her hand away from Markus' grasp, and grabbed her left shoulder. "I remember what Tavros did now. He sawed off--" Vriska snapped her head around to glare at Markus. For some reason, she couldn't stand Tavros at times, but couldn't care less about that right now. She wanted her friends. Kanaya. Karkat. Sollux. Even little Nepeta...
Maybe she could recreate her old friends. She thought to herself, smiling manically. Her pupils were pinpoints and she was deciding what she would need. "Abbie, go get a chainsaw for me. Now." Abbie wouldn't cooperate. Rolling her eyes and tilting her head back and forth, she rephrased her sentence. "Fine. PLEASE go find a chainsaw."
((OOC: Not really. Don't actually kill her :3))
(OOC: Now go watch some Homestuck Tavros videos and look at some pictures XD and be descriptive about who your going to look like :3)

For reference
"Vriska!" Tavros yelled as he ran downstairs to the hallway and ran and hug her, "Vriska i'm here, i always be here for you" Tavros said in a sweet tone and continued to hug her.
Markus stood shocked "Thank you, could you get Equenn out of your mind?" he said hoping she could, he missed her
Tavros looked at Vriska and smiled at her "I love you Vriska, i won't leave you i promise" he said and continued hugging her tight, He was happy that he was with Vriska again.
Vriska hugged his head, nearly suffocating him. She let go as soon his face went pale, then turned to Markus. "Nope, not possible." She smiled wickedly and grabbed onto Tavros' horns, and began to run around the room, steering him. "Vroom!"
((Vriska's just a huge bitch :3))
"Hey, he saved me didn't he?" he said with a smile
Markus shrugged and walked out the door and slumped down and started to cry some more, Vriska got what she wanted but Equenn was still gone.
"Great! Ok, you go find her and I stay here with Tavros and find a chainsaw."
"I'm still confused as hell and I'm not so sure what to think but you can't leave the group and be alone right now. Are you crying?" She climbed off Markus and sat beside him with her legs half crossed. "Talk to me?"
She stood there beside Markus and heaved a massive sigh when Vriska insisted on asking him.
"No, he doesn't." Abbie cut in before Markus could answer. "You have the solution to your problem, now help me find the solution to mine."
Once she was sure it was still there, she turned from Vriska & Markus and power walked away towards the front of the mansion. "We're not going to get out going up, I'm going down. I'll find a way into that cellar and get out somehow." She reassured herself. "I mean, there has to be a spare key or something."
They were all memories.
Vriska had lost her memory when she had taken over Equenn, changing her personality and memories completely. The only things she had remembered were Tavros, her friends, and where she lived. Both unforunately and fortunately, the nightmares didn't make any sense to the girl, otherwise the memories would come flooding back to her mind, making her the huge bitch that she used to be.
Except for the last nightmare.
Tavros was playing a new game that had just came out. It was a game that you played in real life, and could cause damage in real life too. Vriska had taken control of Tavros and had tried to persuad him to jump off a cliff. When he wouldn't, Vriska showed up at his house and pushed him. She had crippled Tavros, teasing him and taunting him. She was the one that caused that.
Vriska bolted upwards, smacking Tavros in the head.
OOC: She was actually going to use it for something else, but never mind about that for now.
The chainsaw stopped.
The tiny bit of Equenn that was still left was screaming. "NO! Why...why did you do that?! You horrible BITCH!"
And this time, Vriska heard Equenn. "You're right. I am a bitch."
Vriska started to laugh. Just a small snicker at first. But it grew into an evil, horrible, bloodthirsty laugh.
And she knew that Abbie and Tavros and whoever could hear her. Whatever.
Equenn couldn't stand to see Markus and Vriska both die at the same time. She hadn't realized what had happened until she felt her hands on her eyes. She looked up. She was on her knees in the room with both the corpses of Markus and Vriska, with Vriska's lifeless hand on her chainsaw, and Markus' hand on his knife. Equenn crawled over to Vriska, feeling her hand. Dead. Even though she hated her, Equenn still didn't like to watch people die. "No...what have...I done..." But then, she crawled over to Markus, rolling what was left of him over. "N-NO! This can't be possible. I..." Equenn clutched her head. She was losing it. The overwhelming both physical (from being Vriska) and mental pain was too much for her. The world started spinning...Equenn's eyes went bloodshot...and they shot wide open.
Equenn had officially gone crazy.
And there it was.
The first sign of true crazy.
The twitch spread, too. But like a plague, instead of a fire. First her head. All the way down to her arms...and stomach...and legs...until she was in a tiny ball on the ground. Her vision was blurring. She saw blue balloons everywhere, which then abruptly popped right next to her. Equenn could hear laughing, a very, very familiar feminine voice, and it sounded like its laughing was directed straight at her fear. She jumped backwards, pressing herself into the wall. Then she saw black rainbows. Black and white and gray. Each one looked lone but peaceful.
Until they began to strangle her. Equenn fought with the imaginary rainbows off, screaming as they tried to whisper to her. Each had Markus' voice, telling her not to be afraid as they choked her.
Markus could definately see this.
"A....b....." Was all that came out of her mouth.
Probably not.
I'd go with a no.
ic: Abbie awoke in another room of the mansion and gasped. She was obviously in some sort of ballroom or meeting room. Paintings of past residents of the mansion adorned the dark red walls. As she became more clear-headed, she realised she had been bound to a chair at the head of a long wooden table. Abbie gasped and then screamed.
Being in minor shock, Abbie had more questions than answers at this moment and she was sick of everything being unexplainable.
"No."
