Setting

Negus Sol is an alternate dimension accessible through randomly occurring paradoxes and portals, sucking random unsuspecting folks into the various strange and alien planets. This does not extend past Sol as the self-contained alternate universe bubble remains around the one area.

This swath of space is chaotic, various disasters and storms appearing and affecting starships as they travel through this alternate dimension. The inhabitants here usually resemble existing groups and people from the base universe however the inhabitants of Negus Sol are swapped. Opposites. If one person is perceived as good in one universe, their counterpart would be evil on Negus Sol.

In addition to this oddity, Negus Sol is known to produce people's worst fears within the chaotic storms in space, turning them into a reality and creating multitudes of threats to bathe the landscape. Negus Terra is home to plenty of these, despite the desolate nature of the planet.

Lillith was spat from an anomaly that had abruptly opened and engulfed her. Plummeting towards the ground. Reeling with dizzyness as her personality shifted from neutral good to neutral evil. Not too much of a change. But it was enough to make her disoriented as her though process shifted slightly. She looked towards the fast approaching ground blankly before impacting harsly and splattering into a black murky puddle. Quickly reforming standing up she observed her surroundings "Well I'm ...Somewhere now...I'm lost" She commented to herself. and observing her surroundings. Not really knowing where she was she just started walking.

Deep within the recesses of Negus-Sol was a massive entity of unimaginable proportions, tendrils with a horrific black tint swirled and twitched in the sky above the planetary body Lillith had found herself on. The mere sight of the entity which dwell above the heavens and span across the stars to encompass the entire night sky was one which mortals should not be able to comprehend, fractal bodily proportions and thousands of individual eyes with incredibly different types from reptilian to humanoid stretched across its body, and a cacophony of loud wails of pain or excitement (it was hard to tell) came from the many agape maws the fiend possessed.

Its many fractal limbs were bound by prismatic rings, keeping it in its place. One of these prismatic rings stretched down from the heavens and rattled by Lillith while she stood on the planet. Bound...the fiend which should not exist was bound here...

Lillith gaped at this being for but a moment before Metaphorically salivating due to her lack of an actual anatomy to produce salive with at this bountyful meal, Imagining feasting on it for the rest of eternity if it happened to be physical. She slowly stumbled towards the nearby ring in a daze. She attempted to climb it in order to reach the enormous mass of what she hoped to be flesh which was holding her present tunnel vision. Her arrival here effecting her more then she was aware of as the shift in personality threw the nano-machines and microbes within her into disarray.

A radiance of horror and insanity blasted from its body and outwards in a radius, pulsating and shaking everything around it. The Dreamer was not a true entity, not one that could be eaten or even truly seen or touched. It jostled the chains once more, the countless eyes narrowed its eyes at Lillith with a low rumbling growl.

"DoNOtTouCH. MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE."

Those words began repeating, over and over again...

The chains had been broken...something unthinkable by the mass of eldritch horror, was now done. It was free. The chains which had been placed upon it eons ago...broken.

Drifting apart from the celestial body it had once been linked to, the form of The Dreamer began to shift and contort, taking on new shapes repeatedly - each more maddening than the last and defying all laws of physic and reality in order to do this. Almost as if flexing its powers once more, now that it's no longer restricted.

Once it was sure its strength had returned, The Dreamer turned its attention to Lillith. She wanted...to play? And was hungry? This thing set it free? If it had true emotion, it would be disappointed in who had released it, but rather, its one tracked mind turned its attention to the next step: leaving Negus Sol. It had work to do.

With this in mind, the Dreamer's shapechanging halted, stopping on a single form for that moment as it disappeared, teleporting elsewhere...

Lillith stared at where the dreamer was previously for a moment before hunching over with a sigh "Great. Now I don't even have anyone to talk to" Huff "Well great. Now What do I do?" She asked herself Kicking a rock nearby. Either not registering or not caring about the fact that she had possibly just released an ancient horror from it's imprisonment

Alighieri seethed into the region, causing a measurable drop in temperature as the energy of spacetime itself began to be absorbed by the abomination. Stars dimmed, powergrids shuddered, and orbits were perturbed as the great behemoth materialized, consuming greater and greater amounts of power as he descended into this realm.
