A white serpentine being slithered out from under the foot of the risen jotunn. The Jotunn was not a colossus, despite what the rest of Gaia may perceive. Hoargraskr warmed with excitement as he made his way to Iskjerne Bay. Yes, a Colossi had risen; not as expected. It had been too long since the Colossi had been allowed a mind. Thanks to otherworldly forces, the stone which trapped the mind of Hoargraskr had shattered. Let Nightfall commence.
Kettil Flatnose continued through Asvith's Ravine on his way to the forge at Iskjerne Bay on the edge of the Weargtooth Mountains, being driven along in his spoked wheeled supply wagon by four giant oxen. As he neared the steep rocky trail over the mountains, a gust of wind suddenly blew his wide brimmed pointed hat off his head. Kettil placed his hand on his head to catch it as he looked up to see an enormous jotunn towering high above him. There before him was a single dwarven fisherman, whistling and singing a dwarfish folk song while fishing in the,,, sand? What was he expecting to catch in the ravine?
Just then, his questions were answered as Dvalinn the Dvergar felt his line go tense. He had snagged something with his hook. Something very big, as he struggled to hold on to his fishing pole. Suddenly, a massive white serpent would emerge from the sands and slither around Asvith's ankle on it's way up the mountains towards Iskjerne, directly ahead of Kettil along the winding trail. Dvalinn held on tightly and reeled in, jumping off of Asvith's toe on to Hoargraskr's scaley back as the colossus zoomed past him. Kettil couldn't believe his eyes. He shook his head quietly and continued on his way.

The great white serpent had dove into the snow and disappeared into the mountains, chuckling about it's game with the mortal. With a shimmer Hoargraskr was again unseen.
