Introduction
History of Chernobyl
The Chernobyl disaster (Ukrainian: Чорнобильська катастрофа, Chornobylska Katastrofa – Chornobyl Catastrophe; also referred to as Chernobyl or the Chornobyl accident) was a catastrophic nuclear accident that occurred on 26 April 1986 at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant in Ukraine (then officially the Ukrainian SSR), which was under the direct jurisdiction of the central authorities of the Soviet Union. An explosion and fire released large quantities of radioactive particles into the atmosphere, which spread over much of the western USSR and Europe.
The Chernobyl disaster was the worst nuclear power plant accident in history in terms of cost and casualties. It is one of only two classified as a level 7 event (the maximum classification) on the International Nuclear Event Scale, the other being the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster in 2011. The battle to contain the contamination and avert a greater catastrophe ultimately involved over 500,000 workers and cost an estimated 18 billion rubles. During the accident itself, 31 people died, and long-term effects such as cancers are still being investigated.
The Storyline
A couple groups of friends decide to go on an extreme tour with one of the tour guides who offered to take them to see Chernobyl. With the thought that they were only going to be there for a couple hours and leaving before dark, they all accept the offer and they go. But before anyone is able to leave, the tour guide goes missing and the eight others decide to go searching for him.
Once it hits dark, crazy things begin to come out and strange things begin to happen. Rabid dogs begin to come out of nowhere, ghosts begin to make themselves known, and they take all of their frustrations out on the living. Before they were able to get back to the van, the angered spirits happened to total it, leaving them stranded in Chernobyl with no way out until the sun rises. But the question is, will they be able to survive until the sun comes back up?

Kalista Elisabeth Mercer

Kalista honeslty couldn't wait to get going. She had all of her bags packed and sitting on the bed in the motel room, waiting on the others. "Come on guys! I don't wanna be late!" she stated as she let out a sigh and dropped back onto the bed, staring up at the ceiling with her legs still crossed.
Ever since the very day she heard about Chernobyl, she always wanted to go and she was going to be damn sure that her boyfriend and two best friends weren't going to make them late. If they did, they definitely weren't ever going to hear the last of it. "I'll wait in the car," she finally stated as she stood to her feet and grabbed her purse and small traveling bag before going outside and to the car. Kalista unlocked the doors and climbed into the passenger side as she placed her purse and small bag down on the floorboard. Kalista wanted to go, but she was in no mood to drive. She would probably cause them to get into a wreck from how excited she was to be going on this extreme tour.

Vanessa was in the shower, making sure she was nice and clean before going on this little tour. She couldn't stand going out in public when she was nasty. If she could smell herself, then she definitely knew it was time for a shower! As she allowed the water to flow over her body as she was rinsing her hair out, she heard Kalista's rushing words, "Come on guys! I don't wanna be late!" The brunette just rolled her eyes at her best friend's words as she climbed out of the shower and wrapped a towel around her body.
Vanessa stepped out of the bathroom to find Kalista walking out the door. With a sigh she just dropped her towel, not caring that Mitchell was still in the room. Besides, she felt comfortable around him and she knew that he wasn't going to try anything. For one thing, he was with Kalista and another, he knew she wasn't into guys. If he thought she was after being with Allison and not once even thought about a guy the way she has Allison, then there honestly would have to be something wrong with him.
She reached for her clothes and started to get dressed. "I swear, if that girl were any more excited about this than she is now, I'd probably rip the hair right out of her head!" she said with a soft giggle.

All in all, Jack really didn’t know how he had allowed for his boyfriend and his best friends’ to convince him to go on this adventure in the first place. He was logical, he was smart. But he also happened to be an enormous coward, and going to an abandoned town that had been ruined by radiation… Well, it didn’t seem like it was something that he should seriously be doing. But he was going, because he didn’t want to be on his own in a country that he didn’t know a damn thing about. He should have known this was why they were in Ukraine. It only made sense, there wasn’t really much else to do.
There was a part of him that was interested though, and he put his camera into his bag, slinging it over his shoulder. He didn't entirely know where his boyfriend was, but he assumed that he was somewhere still in the room. Chewing on the inside of his cheek, he leaned on the inside of the door frame.
"Hurry up, I kind of want to get this over with before something terrible happens," he called into the room. He had accepted a long time ago that he was... Well, he was accident prone. So if something awful could happen in a situation like this, it definitely would.
He admittedly had never learned that much about Chernobyl. He probably could have spent the previous night googling, but he had been more focused on drawing his boyfriend to the best of his ability. Now, here he was. Waiting to get into the car so that they could meet the guide that was going to bring them to the ruined city.
At least he'd have some interesting art to start creating after that evening.
Dean Alexander Osbourne

Dean had actually been in the bathroom, getting ready to go when he heard his lover's words, "Hurry up, I kind of want to get this over with before something terrible happens," he heard him say just as he began to step out of the bathroom.
"Alright, alright, I'm comin'," he stated in his southern accent. He placed his cowboy hat down on the bed before making his way over towards the door with Jackson. Dean was actually quite glad he was able to talk him into tagging along with him. This trip would have been completely boring if he were to do it alone. And besides, a lot more of a pain than it originally would have been if he had to be alone with a group of strangers, Dean was never comfortable with those sorts of situations.
He stepped out the door and began on his way to the vehicle and hopped inside, trying to start the engine. The first couple of times it didn't work but once he got it running and Jackson was inside with him he began making his way to the tour building. "I swear I wish I was able to have my own vehicle here. This rental fuckin' sucks! he stated to Jackson with a soft chuckle. "So, are you ready to get scared shitless?" he questioned, hoping something would go bump in the night while they were there...or should I say bump in the day.
Once they arrived, he parked the vehicle in front of the building and waited for Jackson to catch up before heading inside to meet the tour guide.
"Ah, hello, hello! We will leave once the other four show up," the tour guide stated once he noticed the two men step inside the building together. "I'm Hunter, feel free to ask any questions if you would like to," he introduced.

A small snort of laughter escaped him as his boyfriend cursed at the vehicle that they were currently sitting in.
"If you were able to bring your car, they would probably have to rip it apart to make sure that everything was safe and not at all something that they should worry about, so I'm kind of glad your car can safely stay at home," Jackson pointed out. For some reason, he was always the logical one. At least until he panicked, then he was the least logical one in the entire group. A small groan escaped him when he heard him, rolling his eyes and tilting his head to study him. "If you do anything to purposefully scare me, I'm going to completely tie you up to some radioactive thing and leave you there," he threatened. But it was such an empty threat. He would never do anything to intentionally hurt the other.
But seriously, he was so incredibly not about that life when it came to being scared. If it wasn't for all the creepy things that people said and the difficulty finding someone that was willing to take them in the first place, he wouldn't have minded it at all. It would just be an adventure to someplace where a lot of really horrible stuff happened. He wasn't particularly proud of his cowardice. Hopefully nothing would happen that put it on display.
When they arrived, Jackson momentarily studied the man that was going to be the one to bring them into Chernobyl. He blushed a little bit when his boyfriend spoke and sent him a glare.
He did have questions though, which only made him even more embarrassed.
"How safe is it where we're going to be... Touristing?" He questioned, figuring that was a normal enough question to ask. Considering that the town was abandoned due to radiation that was going to remain in the area for hundreds of years. It was a valid thing to ask.
He glanced over at his boyfriend and sent him a nervous smile. He couldn't help it, this entire thing made him feel as though he was on edge. There wasn't anything that he could do to back out, and he didn't want to disappoint his lover. So he was there, and he would remain there.
