Dey was surprised at the strange wolf's gesture, and suspicious of his motive for giving her the meat. She growled at him slowly digesting the bit of information he had given her about her location. Maxim lake, huh? Sounds familiar, yet I can't recall anything. She looked up at the sky before hissing at Shamus, "Don't think this changes my opinion of you, Wolf; I'd gladly shove you over a cliff." And with that she took the steak and devoured it in a couple of powerful bites.

At least im not starving anymore, well, not as much. Begrudgingly, she dipped her snout in thanks to the strange wolf before turning on her way... in the exact same direction she had been going before. To this area, Shamus had said would be a 'valley of death.' For some odd reason, his wording had just made her determined to reach this 'Maxim lake.'

As soon as she was out of the strange wolf's sight, she began trotting and than that trotting, turned into a dead sprint. She didn't known how far Maxim laken was, but she just suddenly knew she had to get there as fast as possible. As to what she would find when she got there, she didn't know.
