Dey was absolutely dazed. Her sense of smell was gone, the orange smoke blocking it along with searing her vision. What on earth is happening?! She got her paws just in time to hear that brute, Durandel talking to someone else...

"Nova!?"

The name sparked a cord in her that, yes left her even more confused as she could not form a coherent thought in the midst of this orange smoke. "Dey! Are you alright!?" He shouted.

Suddenly, a howling voice rose over the smoke. "Seize them vagabonds! Seize them!" Five wolves in total of various color ran through the smoke and snarling, began heading in the direction of their quarry. Three of them went after Durandel and Nova, the largest throwing itself into the Canicus whilst two others went after Dey, already assuming her to be the weakest.

Dey yelped and went into a crouch, not to protect herself but to assume a submissive and fearful stance. So afraid and... "What's the matter, she-wolf got your tongue?" The slithering voice came from one of her attackers, a lithe white female with green highlighting. Dey growled at her attackers in fear, not knowing what to do. "Oh hush it Vitani, that isn't even funny." The second voice coming from her second attacker, a large black male with white highlighting... "Looks like it scared her anyways..." The white female hissed in laughter at Dey's reaction, and bared her teeth. Dey was surprised to see a green liquid ooze from her jaws, almost like drool, but...

The acidic smell reached Dey's nostrils through the smoke and she realized... these wolves were venomous.

The she-wolf called Vitani snarled and lunged for Dey's throat. Dey was unable to move, for she was frozen with fear.
