When things appeared at their bleakest for the Canicus a surprise came in the form of fire and ice. Their attackers were distracted by the sudden attack from a group of Tenneth. He then heard, "THERE, THERE THEY ARE!" It was during this confusion that Nova took advantage of their lowered guard. With the power of the Ausi's element, ice flew and struck into their Hemlock foes. He heard the largest one bark at Nova's attack, but it was enough for Durandel to counter. With some of his weight lifted off of the Canicus, Durandel quickly over powered the surprised wolf as he bit down on his neck once again and forced him to the ground. The big lug fell with a huge thud as Durandel had him pinned.

Yet the wolf thrashed about trying to free himself. Yet Durandel growled and began to violently shake his head, throttling the wolf's neck. Throwing the whole of his weight into, one might have heard a sickening crack as the wolf laid dead at his paws. It was then Durandel feverishly spat out the horrible, icky fur that tasted of something rotten. "BLEGH!" He shouted in disgust. It was then he saw Nova furiously fighting against the others, and thankfully Dey seemed to be alright at the moment. It was then the noise maker went off as Dey's attacker was caught in the trap. How lucky. Yet he could hear the Tenneth howl as more fire came flying at them. It was then on fire ball nearly hit poor Durandel.

"HEY YOU IDIOT, WATCH YOUR FIRE!! WE NEED DURANDEL AND HIS BUDDIES ALIVE!!" The Tenneth barked. This wasn't good, they were being accosted by enemies on two fronts. At least, it seemed the Tenneth wanted them alive unlike these wolves. The noise was bother Durandel and the others around him. They have to get out of here. "NOVA! DEY! WE NEED TO ESCAPE!!" He shouted as Durandel charged into another wolf, supporting Nova. "We can't get captured! Not here and not now!" He shouted as he bit at the other wolves. "ACK! What is that sound!?" A Tenneth shouted. "I don't know! But I need two of you to get down their now and secure them!!" He shouted as the Tenneth moved to take part in the scuffle.
