Nova couldn't help but smirk at BattleDemon's name game. At least she came up with a good one for Durandel, she seemed to be a fan of shortening names. Despite himself, Nova was feeling more irate by the minute by how absurd she was acting. Why did they ever want to go find her?
"Well, dearest Dey, I've been called anything you can fathom, being a spy n' all. Just don't call me late for supper" Nova replied through the fakest smile he could muster. He didn't even know what to say to her antics, and cast a wary gaze over to Durandel. This seemed to be only the second normal conversation he had this day, and it was with a former "friend" who seemed to have a greater and greater desire every minute to throttle him.
I wonder when she is going to start making me have nightmares. Bad dreams would be better than this reality.
