But it was not to be. In fact, his depth perception was a little off with his left eye blocked from the injury he sustained. While it appeared that some friendly wolf spirit was helping them not get caught for the moment by their pursuers, Nova doubted that they had the luxury of time that hunting required. Well, hunting on land, anyway.

Overhearing Dey, Nova couldn't help but remark to his own defense "Well, it all depends how much you like fish. I'm plenty good at hunting those." Grabbing a meal out of the water at the lake seemed like a better idea than tracking down a deer or the like. It was easy. Spot a fish, freeze a fish, eat a fish. While his pack was known for the fresh fish caught in nets and their freshness was much tastier, they would have to make do without.
