The spray from Dey's failed attempt at stunning the fish showered Nova, though just moments later the water glistening on his coat frosted into powder. Nova resembled a wolf that had just come out of a light snowfall as water froze into ice, and he shook out his coat before strolling a little bit further up the bank. He didn't think much of her missing stunning the fish, he wouldn't expect an Alva to know much about fishing. Pity, those land set wolves miss half the food Nigerius has to offer. Her expression did make him smirk however, and he wasn't afraid to let her see that her overreaction amused him.

A moment later he spotted a silvery trout pressing its way against the current, a determined and content look on its features of a trout that had a mission. Well, at least it would die happy, Nova considered. Moments later the trout floated to the surface, encased in a block of ice. Nova allowed the fish with a thin layer of ice on it to float down the stream to where the other two stood, before looking out for the trout's mates that he could freeze.

Commenting more to Dey than Durandel, he started "Careful not to chip a tooth on that, it would be a shame..." He let his voice trail off before he said something about a chipped tooth making her stop talking, leaving a somewhat awkward hanging sentence. He turned back to 'fishing', and after spotting another fish, he froze it.
