Nova was too focused on satisfying the monster in his stomach to notice the nuances of their dinner conversation, though after gulping down a fish and before starting on another, he took time to agree with Durandel in between Dey's comments. "Yeah, from what I hear they have caves in there that even the Dimitrios don't know about. The only thing I would worry about is being able to find our way out if we end up hiding out deep enough. But I agree it is well worth the risk, I'd give up these fish to not have to fight for my life again today."

Dey's sudden subject shift caused Nova to quickly take a bite of fish in order to hide his surprise. Couldn't she figure out who they thought she was? They had, well at at least HE had, called her BattleDemon enough times that he hoped she would have caught on, but all she had done was deny that name fervently.

Her tone startled him enough that, despite his conviction she was who he thought she was, he looked her over quizzically again, this time without making quick assumptions. She still sounded, smelt, and looked pretty much like how he remembered BattleDemon. She even had that one Borak's charm around her neck. Though somehow, she looked a bit more...sleek, in a way. She wasn't as well muscled as he had remembered, and now that he looked more carefully he could see that she was missing the battle scars on her body that had once defined her. Sure scars fade, but could that many fade that fast?

"To be honest, I'm still pretty sure that you're BattleDemon, the Alva who traveled with me and him a few seasons ago. Can you not remember even the slightest thing about our adventures? You have the Borak Summanus' charm about your neck, if I'm not mistaken."
