Excellent, he had way more than what he needed. A little bit of diluting would make the poison go even farther, and Shamus doubted that the watered down stuff would be any less potent for what his purposes were. Making a great show of plugging up the holes in the bottles left by their fangs, Shamus dabbed a healthy portion of beeswax onto the tips of his claws, gingerly smoothing over every breech in the skin. It is almost like he had done this before, Shamus mused.

Now he wanted something tangible, eh? Why are there so many fools out there who think that luck is something you can hold? Ah well, he had dealt with wolves like this before, they were easy enough to play. "But of course, mate. I wouldn't want you to feel cheated. Naturally, you would want your lucky day to be a full one, so that is why I'd suggest ya wait until sunrise tomorrow for it to start" Shamus explained soothingly, as he slowly played the bottles of poison in his satchel. In their place, he withdrew a small wooden object, a rectangular shape with rounded off corners. Inscribed with markings written in old Saffron, Shamus dangled the wooden pendent from a string.

"Luck is everywhere, my friend. We each get our share, it depends how much is in the air. Some of us know ways of pulling that luck down when we need it most. Tomorrow morning, you must take this wooden emblem and burn it on a piece of ground which has neva' known flame. Make sure you do it alone, otherwise those around you may steal some of your good fortune. When the smoke turns from gray to white, breath the vapors deep. You will feel a mite sickly at first if you are not used to it. But it'll past. Luck will come upon you once it senses you have burned a Saffron pendent, and good fortune will be yours until sunset. So make sure you plan some good hunting, mate" Shamus ended with a smirk, holding out the pendent with great ceremony for the other wolf to take. By the time this silly Hemlock was burning this piece of bark, he would already be halfway across Nigerius!
