Schemeko

Schemeko eyed Shamus very carefully and even snickered as he made his threat. This wolf talked a big game but can he back up his claims? That is something Schemeko was very eager to test out. Heck, he even wondered if the Saffron's abilities will be the deciding factor that allows him to escape. Still, he hoped that would not happen, a Saffron is far too much of a rarity to be allowed to leave. He must test his venom on him and challenge the odds, if he can successfully test it's potency then it will be hard pressed for wolves from any other pack to survive. It was a challenge and as a scientist one dedicates themselves to conquering challenges during their foray into the unknown.

Schemeko then spoke, "Oh, I'm sure you are...after all a wolf has to be good at either two things to survive in such a harsh world. They must be able to fight or flight. Obviously you must be able to do one or the other, otherwise we wouldn't be having this conversation right now." Schemeko chuckled. Vander and Wylie were a bit hesitant over hearing the word, curses. Yet, Schemeko with skepticism and a bit of insanity isn't afraid of a gamble or of curses. Such things are foolish superstition that has no place in his world of mad science. "Yet, it's not often I see a Saffron...you don't understand how valuable that makes you. Besides I do have to tell you, others have called me crazy before...and I believe I'm crazy enough to court misfortune." Schemeko cooly spoke as he looked Shamus dead in the eyes.

"Get him." He calmly commanded as Vander and Wylie were rallied to action. After all, they would rather risk a curse than risk punishment for disobedience to their boss. Schemeko has a particular way of showing his, displeasure. With howls the two Hemlock flunkies lunged at Shamus as they hoped to pin the Saffron down. Fortunately for Shamus, he had enough space to avoid their pounce and make a run for it. That is, if he does avoid the initial pounce.
