Durandel

Durandel roused to his feet as he saw Nova preparing to move on. It was then he mentioned Cerise that his ears perked up. "Oh yeah, that one." Durandel spoke rather somberly. He didn't know her for as long as Nova did but that wolf really did seem to be the mortar that held the bricks together, as the Dimitrios would say. "Never known an Avira to be like that...like a leader of sorts. Didn't know her very long but Ezra reminded me alot of her." Durandel spoke. He then looked to Dey, if she is BattleDemon, then she knew her for alot long than him as well. He then looked up to the Cliffs and could see the Sharikeres. Best they avoid those snow covered mountains for his sake.

Else where, they were watched from afar by a mud covered Tenneth. He watched as the group turned their attentions towards the Cliffs and moved towards them. He wandered off in the other direction. He then returned to his group which were laying upon a recently made rock formation, courtesy of the Canicus's lava and the Arlyne flood. The Tenneth returned. "Boss, I found them and well, you ain't gonna like it." The Tenneth spoke. "What is it now Vernon?" Their boss asked. "Well Durandel and his pals are heading into the Onatah Cliffs." Vernon hesitantly answered. "WHAT!? Are you sure!? Why would they do that!?" The boss yelled. "I don't know! That's their plan!" Vernon cried.

"Wait..., I bet it's to deter us from following. They know we wouldn't dare set foot into Dimitrios territory, that's why they are doing it!" The Boss exclaimed. "Yeah but Durandel is a Canicus like us. Why would his Ausi friend lead him there?" Asked a Canicus. "Well...they aren't seeking refuge with the Dimitrios...I guess they figured the Cliffs could protect them...the mountain paths are numerous and twisting...it's easy to lose pursuers in there." The Boss answered. "So, do we follow them?" asked another Canicus. "Yes, I'm afraid we are, we can't leave empty handed...especially with the boss planning another attack soon." The Boss answered. "Do you think they know about our planned assault on the Dimitrios?" Vernon asked. "Shut up about that! We don't need some lucky fool overhearing our plans. Anyways, no, those fools don't suspect a thing...and lets keep it that way!" He barked. "Now lets go before we lose them up there." The boss commanded as the Fire and Lava Wolves moved on.
