Judging that he wasn't making any friends by letting his true colors seep through, Shamus forced himself to shape up his attitude a little bit with this wolf. Integra seemed to be more able to carry out his will than Schemeko, who seemed to be happy letting others do his work and making somewhat vague threats. In fact, now that Schemeko was so clearly foiled by this newcomer, Shamus found his own personality was probably much more akin to the former. Was the way he had been acting with Schemeko the way he would have reacted had he met a copy of himself? It was not often he got to chat with someone who was equally manipulative.
"Well Integra my mate, I suppose I was held up in negotiations with the little faction your brother leads here. He was trying to trade his mates poison for my freedom, which I didn't think was quite a fair shake. You seem to be a bit more reasonable than he, though. I don't mean to disturb the peace of your pack any more than needs be, it was meant to just be a quick visit" Shamus coaxed, lightening his voice and stealing a glance at Schemeko, who seemed to be in immense displeasure. Good, it seemed that at least someone could rain on his parade after all.
