"Only 'cause you take it so seriously, Feathers. You know I only beat you most of the time" Tiberius chuckled, watching her as she scanned the area for fruit. He had to admit that it was much easier catching berries than rabbits or fish, because the berries didn't run away. They just sat there in full view of their fate, waiting to be gobbled up by any creature looking for a treat. No wonder the disappeared so soon after they ripened.
Suddenly whacked on the side of the head by Blossom's tail, Tiberius had his pleasant thoughts swatted out of him as he heard Blossom yell out. It was then he heard the exclamations of several male wolves over the din of his ringing ears, and he stumbled backwards over his own paws as Blossom ran past.
"Wait! No wait! Don't wait! Keep running!" Tiberius called after her. Not waiting to find out who or what they were, Tiberius picked himself up and bolted after his friend and seemingly only ally in this hostile world.
