As the filter between his brain and mouth had long since been worn out from overuse, Tiberius freely voiced his thoughts. "Well...we don't have all that much to go back to...just a couple of pieces of dried fish and some bed mats...we could go find Drais! He's a dark wolf, where do all the dark wolves live? He probably just went to find a home for us, we could surprise him by turning up!" Tiberius responded optimistically, as if the fact that he had no idea where the Kamarian pack was was irrelevant.
They had learned much from Drais when they had been around, he was probably the reason why they were all still alive. The wolf had never said why he did what he did, which made his disappearance all the more mysterious. Where could he have gone, Tiberius wondered. Could he have been taken by those nasty warring wolves? From run ins they had had with other wolves while Drais had been around, Tiberius knew that other wolves had a particular dislike for Kamarians, as if they blamed the dark pack for starting the war! But such a claim was absurd, how could a wolf as generous as Drais be responsible for so much pain?
