Oh, politicians, Flo knew their type. For a long time, wasn't she one of them? "We saved his granddaughter but that isn't important enough." Flo murmured with a bit of a dark expression, wringing her wings behind her as she spoke in this very hushed whisper. "Well, to the really important people, family takes a backseat to the job." She would know, that was the exact definition of Director LaFleur and her eventual grab for power against Director Harway, with Echo and the Second Impact as tools to replace the Director with herself. Well, regardless, the pinkette knew better than to let this glint in her eye remain. She needed to appear benign, and in truth, she meant no harm to the humans here. They had a shared interest - to have this meeting go as harmlessly as possible. The less trouble that arose, the better for everyone here.

"You should probably stop eyeing up the place." Samurai said with a half joking laugh as Flo exited the vehicle, wings sweeping at the snow at her feet. "This isn't a battlezone or anything." But was it really so unreasonable to be on edge here? Anything could happen - putting a bunch of important people in a building like this was akin to asking for a bomb to strike. "Can't be too careful." Flo murmured, shaking her head. "Remember, back in London? Even the safest place can be penetrated. I gotta be prepared!" Amy wasn't high profile enough to be here, and well, she was a shy little thing, it made sense she wouldn't do all so great in this kind of situation anyways. But Flo could feel it, transmitting through the TB as they made their way into the White House, Harris's earnest love and longing for that freckled country girl.

Flo did her best to keep the scowl off of her face, but the fact of the matter was, she wasn't exactly in the mood to eat lunch all stiff and monitored as if they were labrats. They rescued the granddaughter of this nation's leader, something a bit more carefree wouldn't be too bad, if she had any say in the matter. Which she didn't, unfortunately. "We've been waiting for you." A suited man said that Flo could very vaguely recognize but couldn't place to name of. "Sorry for being late, I had a medical emergency." Flo said, a little white lie. His eyes seemed to crinkle in some semblance of concern but Flo waved it off with a smirk. "I'm fine now, and glad to be here, sir." He nodded curtly and gestured the way for them to go in this strange building.

How funny, the sensation coming from Samurai, a strange mix of disappointment and pride as the quartet headed to where they were supposed to be, to meet the Vice President, apparently, since the actual President himself didn't feel like showing, or couldn't, due to other obligations. "Um, what's next, Hawk?" Flo asked, since Hawk was the only one with a real idea on this kind of thing. The pinkette was no stranger to politics, but she didn't live it quite the way Gwenyth did, since Flo spent most of her life in a public school, and then in a hospital rather than the noble class power struggle that no doubt the Delanores and the St Claires and other noble families dealt with.
