Angela blinked and smiled, a bit flustered by the compliment. The added title of November was a surprise, too. She certainly hadn’t expected it and wasn’t sure how she felt about being called such.

“Ah, oh, um, it’s fine.” She managed to stutter out.

Ron’s absence was a welcome reprieve for Angela. The air in the room felt different to her, and she felt far more at ease than before. The mention of initiation, however, quickly squashed that. In a foreign world with unknown rules, anything was a threat. For all she knew an initiation could involve chasing bears or fighting dragons. Furthermore, they’d hardly had any rest let alone a bite to eat. Still, she followed with the rest of the group since she couldn’t find any way to get out of it.

Angela gasped at the sight. It really was beautiful. And, though she wasn’t a daredevil, she was no stranger to water. That was one of the great things about California. No matter where you went, there was some sort of water to play in. With the exception of rain, that is. It felt nice to finally be knowledgeable about something in this strange world.

“A dive like this shouldn’t be too bad!” She said excitedly. Her thoughts were soon confirmed by Ron. This didn’t feel nice. Still, she remained excited.

“I’ll help out!” She turned to Tallyho, her smile wide. “We can jump together and I’ll help you swim! It’ll be no prob!”
