Growing up in New York wasn’t the greatest, but it’s all Evelina has ever known. The bustling streets, the stop and go traffic, the constant motion of the city and everything in it. But with something constantly in motion, there would be struggles, and that was the main theme of Eve’s life. Though through the years she's learned to get through it or just ignore it until whatever is causing her issues is gone or no longer her problem.

One of the few things that New York gave Eve to enjoy was her job at ALLternative Sounds, bit of an underground music store, but still had a small corner for mainstream music. When she entered she quickly put on the only thing that was mandatory at her job, a name tag. Unfortunately since all her paperwork had her actual name on it, so did this name tag, Lida. Though it was an easy fix as Eve just crossed it out and put her middle name on it, the name she goes by everywhere else except around family.

Today was a normal day at her job, mostly just stocking new stuff that came out over the weekend and of course reorganizing albums that some kids would come in and always put things in the wrong spot. She worked with a small team of two other people as the store wasn't too big for them to run, and the boss man was usually upstairs doing manager things, Evelina didn't really care what he did as long as she got paid at the end of the week. She was putting some new CD's on display in the window when the door dinged and as someone walked in. Though it looked like he went to college, he looked more like eh listened to pop music or whatever else they are playing on the main radio stations. Eve ignored him as he walked around and went back behind the counter to make sure everything was good.

Eve had her back to the counter when someone asked if she worked here. I'm behind the counter, what do you think. she thought to herself, but knew she couldn't say that out loud. "Yeah, I do. What you need?" She said as she turned around, a little surprised to see the man that entered a long bit ago, assumed he had left. She barely listened to him as she took a more detailed look over him, and Eve would be lying if she said he didn't at least look cute. From what she did hear he was looking for something for his sister for a gift. "Sure, just follow me." She said as she walked from behind the counter and lead him to some of the aisles.

"So, what does she like? Know any similar artists or genres I can work with?" Eve asked, as she flipped through some CD's. "Also I think I heard you say 'our'? You two twins or something?" She tried making some small talk as she searched, the two looked down some more aisles and then she figured out what she would like after he gave some more information. "Oh wait!" She quickly turned a corner and dug deep behind some CD's looking for what came to her mind.

"Here. New up and coming band, originally based locally." Eve smiled to herself, handing him a CD from the band Beautiful Strangers. "They have some unique sounds, pretty new, I doubt she has it. She should like it though." She said as she grabbed another CD. "And here's Sophie's Valentine. Personal favorite to be honest."
