Puddles intimately watched as the newt found itself one (of many) meals being had all across the landmass. Just as the shark was preparing its strike though, Puddles had one last mission on top of observing the feeding habits. The same boom that had chummed the water, was now cycled over onto a device loaded with small tracking darts, a high-frequency locator that would be quite useful in seeing just how far that aquatic predator ranged. As it deployed, Puddles waited patiently for the strike that would bring the shark out of the water, watching it soon leap into the air - and at just the perfect time, Puddles fired the little tracker with a soft shoomp. It would take a few minutes for the track to burrow, aimed neatly for the shark's large top fin and then transmitting back to Puddles, as well as the Erikoure.

With that done though, the curious probes' high-tuned audio receptors caught a muffled thump, the camera boom then swiveling over just as a prey would trying to figure if a predator was nearby. All it was though appeared to be a piece of fruit dropping to the floor of the beach. Ripe, it was finally freed from the root. With a curious little chirp, Puddles was quickly trundling as fast as his little wheels took him over to the curious piece of drupe, several little manipulating arms soon sprouting from the front of the mechanical chassis.
