|Talents(T) | Strengths(ST) | Skills(SK) |
⚘Surfing-Being out on the ocean clears his head, and he's not too bad at it if he does say so himself ⚘ Adaptable- Nate takes change in his stride, in his personal life and on set, he just gets on with it. ⚘ Acting- kind of a good job he's good at this, given it's what's paying his bills at the moment. Only problem is he doesn't know when to stop. ⚘ Cooking- Being on his own so much, Nate is pretty self sufficient and definitely knows his way around a kitchen.
Flaws/Weakness
⚘A good party- Nate really can't say no to a good night out, whether it's at the club or a house party ⚘Amelia- As much as they pretend there was nothing there, Nate would drop everything at a moment's notice for her, even now. ⚘ Easily led- it doesn't take much to convince Nate to do something, promise a good time or a career boost and he's there. ⚘ Addiction- Everything is easy to get when you're famous and drugs are no exception, leading Nate to battling an addiction his manager would rather no one found out about. ⚘Media- Nate's pretty media savvy, but it's got to the point that he analyses everything he does through the media lens. Even his relationships are seen through this lens and he's not sure how to stop.

Secrets
✤He's way more into Amelia then he'd ever let on to anyone, even her. ✤✤He's ended up with an addiction to cocaine. He can't pinpoint an exact time he became addicted and he's really not into the introspection either.✤
✤His last four 'relationships' have all been publicity stunts, a will they won't they, are they? type of situation. He can't remember his last genuine relationship.✤
✤He really doesn't like who is he is anymore. He can act like it to everyone else, but the disillusion and the self-hate are sinking in deeper and deeper everyday.✤
Goals/Dreams
Fall in love and actually have something real with somebody
Win an Oscar
Make his mom proud

Ask people about Nathaniel Price, and you'll probably get an array of answers. The simple reason is that he can adapt pretty well to whatever situation he's in. On the surface, Blake is your typical party boy. He's down for a good time, especially if it means partying to the small hours. He knows where the line is, and hasn't done anything to jepordise his career. Just enough to keep his face in the gossip columns. He has a work hard, play harder mentality. Long term commitment isn't something that's on his horizon right how. He'll date, but it's never going to get beyond a month or two, no matter what the guy or girl might think or how great they are. That said, he won't go bragging about his conquests. He doesn't kiss and tell.
Those that get past the party-hard exterior find another layer to Nate. Partying is fun, sure, but it's not everything. For Blake, the only thing worth doing is the best. Years of having to work hard for his grades have left Nate with a pretty disciplined work habit. When he needs to, he gets his nose down to the grind and knuckles down. Not every roll can be carried by being pretty. Nate will do whatever it takes to get ahead, especially if it keeps the press from looking too closely at his actualy life. Not having to work for things would have an effect on anyone, and Nate is no exception. He can be arrogant, guilty of believing his own hype, and is way too used to getting what he wants when he wants it. No one says no to you in Hollywood. It's addictive. And if they do, you just mold yourself into what they do want.
With his friends, the few people he allows to get close to him, Nate is pretty open. He's a ride or die kind of friend and stands by his friends through thick and thin. If you were a friend of Nate's and he's cut you out, you've screwed up big time. He's very good at reading people, which drove his mom mad when he was asking about Christmas presents, and it's often got him into trouble since he's reluctant to let things lie if a friend's in trouble.

Happiest Memory
Finally getting his big break thanks to Ben. He'd always been a little weird drama kid at school so seeing it all finally pay off was amazing. That call literally changed his life and meant he could take care of his mom, which was the least she deserved.
Saddest Memory
His parents seperating. With the benefit of hindsight, Nate could see it coming, but when you're a kid, you think your parents are so in love with each other and nothing will ever change that. Nate didn't take the break up too well, as his friends could attest to.

Nathaniel Price grew up in Bluffton as the only child of Bobby and Alison Price. He was a pretty happy kid. Both his parents worked in pretty decent paying jobs, Alison in middle management when he was a kid, and Bobby worked as a plumber. Nate probably got his work ethic from his dad. Plumbing wasn't always an easy job, not pretty either, but the work was steady if you could find it and it paid well if you hit the right client. One of his parents was always around so he was never left to his own devices as easily as he might have been with two working parents. He did ok at school, but he was never top of the class and for a while that didn't really faze him, he was a kid, he was more concerned with how quickly he could climb the tree outside.
In middle school, he found his tribe in the performers. He loved acting and was pretty good at it. So his mom had a caveat in place for him, keep his grades up and he could keep going to the local drama group. If his grades dropped, he couldn't go. So Nate started working at his grades, and while he was never gonna be a brilliant student destined for Ivy League, his grades were pretty good. He always worked hard to keep them there. Being in with the performers was probably why he was closest to Amelia out of the group and she would probably be the first person he would confide in in the group. They were an odd group, the 8 of them, but they worked and Nate wasn't going to question that.
Nate was 13 when his parents split up. It had probably been a long time coming, they barely spent any time together and when they did, they were sniping at each other. It probably wasn't the best environment to be raising a kid in, even if they did love him. Safe to say that Nate was pretty devestated by the news. For a long time he was pretty withdrawn from his friends, from most of the people around him. It took him a while to adapt to his new normal, being with his mom most of the time and his dad whenever Bobby wasn't working. As a result, he's way closer to his mom and was way more likely to do things to make his mom happy. He kept going to acting classes after school and wound up with an agent in his second year of high school. Luckily he didn't miss much in the way of school with most of his gigs at that age being for adverts, or a few scenes at the most.
After high school, he landed a supporting role in a small sci-fi show that unfortunately didn't make it to it's second season, but it did get a loyal fanbase. And it paid enough for him to move to LA. And no, he wasn't chasing Lia across the country. Nope. Barely even crossed his mind that she would be there. He was in the middle of the con circuit when he got the call from his agent about Ben's adaptation. He jumped in with both feet, knowing this could be the boost his career needed. He didn't anticipate the level of control that would come with it. Go here, do this, smile for them, say this, date her. It was all so much so fast. In hindsight, maybe he should have stayed on the tv circuit a little while longer, but there's no point in looking back, something he confided in to Lia once or twice during their late night conversations. Nate became the new it-boy of Hollywood. Doors opened everywhere for him and no one said no to him anymore. The paychecks got bigger and so did the parties, and so did the wreck that Nate became. Sure, he could smile and play nice for the cameras, get his job done, pretend everything was ok so long as people didn't look to close. Behind closed doors, he was desperately lonely and battling a cocaine addiction he had no interest in treating. Every relationship he had was a publicity stunt, but that was ok by him he would keep telling himself. Once he was established enought he could be in control of who he was seen with.
And then he got the call that Ben was in hospital. He owed the guy his entire career so he packed a bag and hopped on the first plane back home for the first time in years. He's not sure what's waiting for him in Bluffton, but it can't get much worse.
Just a kid, just a fool
Always trying to play it so cool
So he did what he knew
He left home and he dropped out of school
He wanted fame, fame, fame
Even just a little bit of shame, shame, shame
He would sell his soul for it
Changed his name, never going to get it back, no
He's got money, but he's way off track
So lonely that it makes him think back
To his family and his friends and the lady he left back home
He's loaded and alone
He's loaded and alone
Still a kid, still a fool
Still trying to break all the rules
A big house, with too many rooms
An ego, to go with it too
He got his fame, fame, fame
More than just a little bit of shame, shame, shame
That he sold his soul for it
Changed his name, never going to get it back, no
He's got money, but he's way off track
So lonely that it makes him think back
To his family and his friends and the lady he left back home
He's loaded and alone
He's loaded and alone
He got his fame, fame, fame
Such a shame, shame, shame
He's got money, but he's way off track
So lonely that it makes him think back
To his family and his friends and the lady he left back home
He's got money, but he's way off track
So lonely that it makes him think back
To his family and his friends and the lady he left back home
He's loaded and alone
He's loaded and alone
He wanted fame, fame, fame
And such a shame, shame, shame
He got his fame, fame, fame
Such a shame, shame, shame
Yeah,
Lonely, lonely, lonely, lone
Lonely, lonely, lonely, lone
Yeah, yeah, yeah
Oh oh oh oh oh oh na na na na na
Oh oh oh oh oh oh hear me out
This is my King's Speech, I'm nowhere near the end
If I s-s-s-stutter, sorry I ain't heaven's sent
I messed my life up and yeah I've been down
I'm a changed man now, Chris Brown
You know I feel your pain 'cause I've done and been through it
I'm Kurt Cobain but I just couldn't do it
No point in turning back just to hit rewind
Back to the future, Ma Marty McFly
Deep inside, there's a fire
'Cause I'm no longer looking at a reflection I admire
I paint the picture of a fighter, but there's someone's looking back at me and says I'm a liar
If I should die before I wake, the least that I could ever say
I made mistakes but held on to my faith
'Cause when I look in the mirror
I don't even recognize myself
Got the heart of a winner
But looking back at me is someone else
No regrets
No regrets
No point in crying over yesterday
No regrets
No regrets
'Cause we ain't even seen the best of days
Oh oh oh oh oh oh na na na na na
Oh oh oh oh oh oh
This is my last chance, I'm on my final straw
I came so close to b-b-b-breaking like a spinal chord
I came from nothing, some kid in Camden
Now I'm flying in the birds, Richard Branson
I'm a prince, yes I will get the crown (Shh)
Kate stays in my dungeon when her sister's around
So please forgive if I make mistakes
But I'll blow the bloody doors off, Michael Cain
If I should die before I wake, the least that I could ever say
I made mistakes but held on to my faith
'Cause when I look in the mirror
I don't even recognize myself
Got the heart of a winner
But looking back at me is someone else
No regrets
No regrets
No point in crying over yesterday
No regrets
No regrets
'Cause we ain't even seen the best of days
I'm free to be whatever I, 'cause I'm famous
Call me Gallagher 'cause I'm so shameless
The papers, saw the pages that are the cost of my failures
Victimized by the public, don't know if I could take it
So I sing
So when you feel like there's no more and nothing left but the life you've broken
No regrets, no turning back
Pick up yourself and tell them I'm just being me
'Cause when I look in the mirror
I don't even recognize myself
Got the heart of a winner
But looking back at me is someone else
No regrets
No regrets
No point in crying over yesterday
No regrets
No regrets
'Cause we ain't even seen the best of days
No regrets
'Cause when I look in the mirror
I don't even recognize myself
Got the heart of a winner
But looking back at me is someone else
No regrets
No regrets
No point in crying over yesterday
No regrets
No regrets
'Cause we ain't even seen the best of days
'Cause when I look in the mirror (in the mirror)
I don't even recognize myself (oh oh oh oh)
Got the heart of a winner (of a winner)
But looking back at me is someone else (no)
No regrets (no)
No regrets
No point in crying over yesterday (ehhh)
No regrets
No regrets
'Cause you ain't even seen the best of me
