Name || Kazenari Tohsaka

Age || 20

Gender || Female

Sexuality || Heterosexual

Appearance || Kazenari stands at 5'5" with waist-length black hair and angluar blue eyes. She is often seen wearing red ribbons and on occasion, glasses, completing the whole "student council member" look. She is one of the few students mandated by Kurogane Technical to wear their uniform which consists of a dark blue blazer, white shirt and a plaid skirt.

Face Claim || Yukinoshita Yukino from Oregairu/Oregairu Zoku

Personality || Kazenari generally comes across as an intimidating, aloof individual to most people. She tends to keep a distance with people, even among her peers. Mostly due to her upbringing, she may occasionally come across as haughty and maybe a little bossy towards others. She can be quite blunt when she speaks.

Unknown to most, she does possess a bit of a clumsy and girly side to her, such as generally being bad at following directions and navigating unfamiliar places. To date, only Makoto Itsuna is aware of this fact.

Room Number || N/A

Roommate || N/A (non-dormer)

Reading || Kazenari is a very wide reader, devouring books of all shapes and genres. Her favorite form of literature are non-fiction publications like newspapers and journals.

Music || Having been part of the high school Conservatory of Music, Kazenari has long grown to love listening and playing it. As she is not a fan of all genres, she generally leans more towards classical and ambient sounds.

Travel || Due to her strict upbringing, Kazenari didn't really have much leeway in exploring different places so she takes advantage of the newfound freedom of college to explore different places and try new things. If only her sense of direction can keep up though...

Dislikes:
Asking for directions || As she is rather bad at directions, Kazenari doesn't like navigating new places alone. Whenever she does though, she tries to avoid asking for directions out of pride which leads to more problems later on.

Movies || Kazenari isn't a big fan of movies. While she doesn't outward condemn it, she's not exactly someone you can just casually invite to the cinema to watch with.

Troublemakers || Kazenari has very little patience for those who cause trouble in the school, given that it is left to them to clean up the mess afterwards. Currently, she is trying to track down the perpetrator who likes leaving clown stickers all over the school.

History || The Student Council President of Kurogane Technical Institute. Despite the high position awarded to her though, Kazenari initially didn't want to run for the position and only came in when the faculty asked her to. Her strict and difficult upbringing came into play nicely in dealing with most issues and shouldering the stress of the responsibilities that comes with the position. She had also been President during her high school years in Kurogane High as well.

As she had only been elected for this academic year, Kazenari doesn't really have much knowledge about the previous murders. With the notoriety of the killer targeting only students from their school running rampant again, it is no stretch to say that the expectations of the student body on her bringing the string of killings to an end is her most difficult task yet.

"Yo! I heard from Kirika. You did a great job and for that, I give you my thanks. And of course--" Mitsuru answered the door and upon seeing Hotaru, he already expected what she could be there for. He hands over her compensation for the job which he kept in a brown envelope.

"Don't worry about the other guy. We'll talk things through with him. Go on and use it to have fun or something."

"Kanade-san huh? Haven't really talked to her much but I guess she seemed like an interesting sort huh?" Asagi was of course, surprised that Meno likes another girl like her. Then again, it wasn't because he found it unnatural but more of the fact that he found it difficult to tell at a quick glance. Of course, Menou informed him that she wasn't ready to confess just yet and about waiting to be a better person first. Asagi just smiled.

"Well of course not! You can't just walk up to a random stranger and tell them you love them and expect them to love you back right off the bat! Believe me, last time I did that I got hit squarely in the face like BAM!" Asagi made a slight punching gesture as he recalled that memory.

"I don't really think you can be "the perfect match" for anyone though. I mean, you know? The whole soulmates thing? You have to compliment each other, kind of like magnets. In a way, it's that imperfection which makes the love between couples so interesting! Of course, I can't say it's the same with everyone..." Asagi rambled on a bit before scooping up the last of his ice cream. Menou mentioned something about how some ice cream cost almost an arm and a leg in some places. Asagi laughed at the new information.

"Really? Hahaha!!! Well, I'm not that meticulous for iced treats but I suppose there's a reason why. Doesn't mean we have to agree with it though ahaha!!!" Asagi jokes around.

"Well, if you want to approach people; not just Kanade-san but people in general, you have to work on your social skills first. You don't have to be some cool cat in town to do that--look at me! I get by well just by being my usual silly self~" As he said that, Asagi happily waved to a young couple who passed by and waved back. "I suppose a little more confidence won't hurt though so tell me--!" Asagi leaned a little closer towards Menou, maintaining eye contact with her.

"What are you taking up right now? You're from St. Gabriel's right?"

As he was heading out, Akeno told him that she hadn't paid for the clothes yet so he paused to wait for her to finish the transaction first. She didn't wear the new set at once though, probably to avoid soiling them, Kazuya thought.

As expected, it needed Akeno to remind Kazuya that he hasn't even introduced himself properly. He scratches his head sheepishly while laughing at that realization. Should he had been around, Kazuya was sure his father would've given him a proper talk on introducing himself to others.

"My name's Kazuya. Tamashiro Kazuya but feel free to just call me Kazu. My last name's a little too long and my other nickname's a little too...eh..." Kazuya lets her use his usual nickname and he then followed her throughout the walk back, making lots of redundant small talk along the way.

As the two neared the dorm, Kazuya was able to make out a...rather conspicuous building looming ahead, along with a smaller building almost beside it nearing completion. Kazuya reckoned it must be the building his new employer was talking about.

"Whoah! So it really is close!" Kazuya gasped in amazement. He reckoned the walk back barely even took an hour. "Oh! And I guess that means this smaller place is the Black Rose huh? Come on!" Now it was Kazuya's turn to lead Akeno into the under construction establishment.

They passed by a couple of workers and electricians but it didn't seem like he knew any of them. With that, Kazuya thought it best to call out to his new employer.

"Oi!!! Anyone order anything?!" He called out. A little while later, some footsteps was heard from one room in the building.

"So you managed to find the bowls? You work faster than I--huh?" Expecting the weird lizard guy, Kirika was a little surprised to see Kazuya here so early.

"Yo! Found the place at last!" Kazuya greets her. Kirika merely gave her a good look over until her eyes fell on the girl beside him.

"You're not Cel." Though she shared the floor with the other girls, Kirika doesn't really see them often to engrave a name to associate with the faces she may have seen everyday.

"Nope. This is Akeno-chan! A student of Partisan Rose and my new friend!" Kazuya introduces her, placing both hands on Akeno's shoulders. "Cel-san was busy so I had to ask another dormer to accompany me in finding the place."

"Really now?" Kirika walked over to them, her eyes looking over at Akeno. "Just for this incident,I would like to apologize for any inconvenience he caused you."

"Hey, what do you mean by that? Akeno-chan said she had fun walking around with me. Right Akeno-chan?" Kazuya flashes Akeno his usual carefree grin. "Now then, what should I do today?"

Wordlessly, Kirika picks up a piece of bond paper containing printed words of some sort. Kazuya took it with one hand and read it. "This is...a menu?"

Kirika nodded. "Do you still recall how to make any of those?"

"Leave it to me!" Kazuya replied with much enthusiasm. "Just give me the right supplies and appliances and I'll whip it up in a heartbeat! Ah...but, your place doesn't look too hot for brewing right now though."

"I've left the brewing and mixing devices upstairs. We can still use the old Black Rose."

"Is that so? Well let's go then!" Kazuya urges the two ladies along though he was immediately stopped by Kirika tugging at his sleeve, her eyes still looking down on the floor. "Huh? What's wrong?"

"You haven't introduced me..." Kirika muttered softly it almost seemed like a whisper. "You haven't introduced me...to her."

"Ah! Right, right!" Again, the realization struck Kazuya and he immediately clears his throat as he stood between the two girls.

"Ahem! Kirika-san, this is Akeno-chan! My new friend from the same school." He introduced Akeno to Kirika first as he didn't really know much about her to properly do so yet.

"Akeno-chan, this is Kirika Katsuragi. She's an old friend of mine from when we were younger and from the way you see it now, my new employer. I hope you get along. Hm!" Taking both their hands, he clasped them together, nodding to himself in contentment. He was sure that if his father had been around, he would've surely been proud with how he introduced them.

"Thanks guys." Aziz thanks both as he let out a sigh. He turned to look at Nagisa with a weak smile. "Thanks Makinami. Don't worry, I'm buying." He placed a soft hand on her shoulder before leading the two out of the memorial hall.

Due to the recent incident encountered, the Kurogane Student Council was called in a meeting in order to talk about some possible countermeasures they can implement. Leading the discussions was a young woman with long black hair, gazing worriedly at the tabloid right in front of her.

"Murder on 14th Avenue. Wakaba-san makes what? The third victim now?" The girl asked around, heavy silence settling in the room.

"Fourth." Makoto corrected it.

"This is concerning." The girl rubbed her temples. "14th Avenue is way beyond our jurisdiction. At this point, I don't think the board can even do anything about it either."

"Seriously though, is it even our problem at this point? Why not just leave it to the law-enforcing body? Incompetent as they are, they should at least have found a lead by now." Another male piped up. Compared to the worried stances and expressions on the rest of the members, he seemed rather relaxed, propping his feet up on the table.

"Normally we would've written off Wakaba-san's death as just a stroke of bad luck and a coincidence." Makoto turned to face the man, their eyes meeting with each other's. "The problem is--almost everyone that was murdered in question here are all students of this institution."

"The Iron Killer. That's what people have been labeling him on the forums."

"Ugh...I don't really like reading on those forums." Seki Kirihara groaned. "The people there are quite nasty when it comes to their comments. Saying things like us Kurogane students deserve it and that the killer should chase after this student next..."

"They can only do that because they're anonymous online. Don't let it get to you too much, Seki-san." The other girl assures her before turning back to the others. "Going back on topic, I'm considering proposing the daylight savings time to the board again so the students can at least head home early."

"I don't think that can work though. Most students will probably just use it to go to malls or the arcade instead of heading straight home. Plus, it won't benefit the students who have evening classes." Makoto opposes the idea.

"Still, having at least a temporary countermeasure is better than not having anything right?" Seki tries to convince Makoto otherwise.

"No. People will just say we're only buying time. Not that our assessment matters at this point though. However, I just heard of talks about how the various gangs are all riled up since they knew some of the victims. We also need a means to address that."

"This situation got out of hand way too fast." The other girl sighed as she tried to think of something.

"If it even was within our hands to begin with. For one, even if we were to come up with an idea, do you think the board will just allow us to implement it? These folks are more concerned with their public image rather than the safety of their own students!" The relaxed man points out.

"Taichi-san, you aren't really helping!" Seki was quick to call him out.

"Like hell I do! Unlike some of you guys, I only won cause I'm popular. Hell do I know about implementing policies." With a grin, he turns to face the girl seated at the head of the table. "I'm merely the negotiator for your ideas and proposals. Isn't that right, President Kazenari?"

Kazenari merely ignored his remark and turned to Makoto. "You said the gangs are all up in arms over the incident. Would you happen to know anything about them Itsuna-kun?"

"I might. But what exactly are you planning Kazenari-san?"

Kazenari was able to let out a small, determined smile. "I may just have an idea."

"R-really? I didn't know that..." Aziz was able to stand up after resting for a bit. "For all we know, you really might be an assassin." Aziz teases her lightly before standing up to pay for the bill. Returing to the table, he urged the others.

"Shall we go? We can just brown bag the rest." Aziz asks. "It is getting dangerous walking around at night..."

Following Genji's wake, Yoite arrived shortly with an unfamiliar looking person, possibly needing help navigating the rooms. Kirika gave him a good look-over. She did hear of a newcomer from her brother but she didn't really expect him to arrive today.

"It's my brother you should be asking about this..." Kirika sighed as she stood up. It was then she noticed Akeno giving the newcomer a look--and even muttered his name. For what she can gather, they seem to know each other...sort of.

"I guess I can sort the paperwork with Ritsuka. Furuya-kun, you two seem acquianted so, can you help him get around?" Kirika asks Akeno before turning to Kazuya. "You. You help carry stuff."

"Eh? Well, I guess it's not that hard..."

"We'll continue this tomorrow. Can you drop by the shop a little earlier than usual, say around 6 or 6:30?" Kirika asks Genji before disappearing downstairs. "I'll be waiting."

With Kirika gone, Kazuya gathers up all the glasses and dumps them in the sink. "Well, I guess that's the end of my shift for now!" Kazuya then turns to Akeno and the newcomer. "Let's do it Akeno-chan! Let's show the newcomer the whole floor--! Except I don't really know the whole floor so you'll have to help me navigate again. Outsourcing, I think it's called. Yep. Outsourcing."

Kazuya crosses his arms and nods in satisfaction. Though his father may feel bad about him being bad with directions, he was sure he'll be impressed with how he managed to remember the "outsourcing" word.

Asagi smiled when he heard Menou accept the offer. "Good to hear. Don't fret too much about it--we'll get along fine, I promise." Seeing the clouds turning dim, he decides it was time to head back.

"We should probably head back before traffic sets in. We start next week so you can take it easy for now. If possible though, I would like you to practice a bit of sewing from time to time. Only if you feel like it though. No need to force yourself. Well, looking forward to working with you, Koizumi-san~"

"Impossible...That's just too impossible..." With the meeting concluded, everyone was dismissed for the day. Makoto spent some time pondering over what was just discussed in the room while washing his face in the boy's restroom. No matter how you look at it, what President Kazenari suggested seemed highly implausible.

"May I have a word?" Kazenari asked while she waited outside. Their school is structured so that the boy's and girl's restrooms are on the same hallway.

"It's impossible..." Makoto repeated again. Kazenari stood up straight and stared at him straight in the eye.

"I understand you had your own misgivings towards the plan but, this is the only solution I can think of. Please try to understand." Kazenari explains. "I may require your help in the coming days. Can you keep your calendar open for me, Itsuna-kun?"

"Probably. I should be free for a couple more days."

"That's good enough." Though his answer was vague and a bit undecided, Kazenari seemed to have found it satisfactory. "See you tomorrow then, Itsuna-kun."

Outside, the sky has turned a lot darker. Still, Makoto felt some urge to waste some time in Emerald Gardens for a bit. Counter-productive to what was talked about earlier, he wasn't going to let some serial killer affect the pace of his life. Still, it'd mean heading home a lot later than normal and with the new rules on curfew, talking things over with Nagao or Cel may get a bit more complicated. As an insurance, he took out his phone and dialed a number he rarely called.

"Yes? I've got my hands full right now just so you know." Sora Kyosuke answers from the other end.

"Right, I'll get straight to the point. Can I head home with you later? Need some help with staying past curfew."

"Listen...I already got into trouble last time I went with Akeno--"

"I've got an alibi though. Don't worry, it'll work out fine. Besides, it's only in the event we both aren't able to head back before curfew." Fortunately, Makoto seemed to have this all planned out. From the other end, he heard a soft sigh.

"If you're sure...Anyway I got to go. Just drop by Lou's later." Without even saying goodbye, Sora puts down the phone.

"Now then--" Makoto puts away his phone and heads to the bus taking him to Emerald Gardens. "This shouldn't take long."

"We can-- worry about that later. More importantly..."

Once they were at a safe distance, Nagisa let go and looked over at Fuyumi worriedly. This early and she was already rather social- but being social with that person...

"It's dangerous to be in the presence of those two in the same area. I know you're a newcomer to the place, but both of them are caught up in some shady business. They've both got a beef with the gangs in the area, specifically the ones in the west and east of this city, the Westside Hounds and Enigma."

She tucked a lock of black hair behind her ear.

"Kujo happens to have a beef with both, which is why he had such a violent reaction to that guy. The other guy is part of Westside. It's best to stay away from them when they happen to be in the same area."

Nagisa shifted on her feet, lightly playing with the bracelet on her right wrist before thinking of something.

"Well, tag along with me for now. I'm going to go warn the student council about the fight that's definitely going to break out. And, uh-- as for a seeing-eye dog..."

She thought for a moment.

"Right, ah, Kanade and I have a deal that we're heading home together today so we can go look around the city for an adoption center maybe..."

"Well, don't mind if I do then--"

Genji, being a light eater, only had a few macarons and pastries for himself. Obviously a pastry wouldn't fit through the zipper on his mask so he reached up and pulled it down, glancing up curiously.

"And, uh-- the mask is really just something worn out of personal preference. I'm not harboring a disease or anything."

He reassured before eating a macaron.

Orange Blossom - 12:20 PM

Kirika nodded upon hearing Genji's reasons for wearing his mask. According to him, he didn't have an illness or anything and was just worn out of preference. Nonetheless, she did find it a little weird. And maybe a bit creepy.

"I see. Or is it the other way around then? You wear it so you don't catch other people's disease." Kirika assumed as she dug into her order of Sunburst Cake and chocolate.

"The food here is really good. Something to take note of when we open..." Kirika murmured to herself as she waited for her companion to finish. "Mitsuru said you were a regular at the old shop right?"

"If I were to ask, what did and didn't you like at the old shop? And what kept you coming back?"

Kurogane Technical - 12:00 PM

"This is bad..." Makoto thought as he witnessed what appears to be a scuffle between Kujo and the other visitor. It was no secret that among students that Kujo Nobuyuki runs with some rather...questionable folk so the other guy must be related to that--if not a part of a gang himself. Makoto had brought Hotaru in one of the pavilions outside, allowing them to witness the scene up close though it would appear that they weren't the only ones who had that idea.

Multiple students had gathered; some were whispering to themselves while pointing at the two and some kept their viewing a lot more low-key by pretending to eat at the pavilions. A handful had their cameras out and was taking pictures and videos of the scene.

"Ikeda's going to kill me if I let something bad happen to Hotaru-san here." Makoto glanced at the growing number of people gathering around. Duty was calling him but he did remember what he and Cel talked about last night.

He was only an observer. Not an actor.

"Doesn't matter." He thought as he stood up. "Hotaru-san, I think I need to step in here. It might take a while so you can head back to class without me."

"You don't need to do that, historian." Kazenari suddenly cuts in as she arrived. "Leave this to me."

"Are you sure? They might not listen to you."

"Maybe. Only one way to find out." Kazenari gave him a slight smirk before walking towards the two.

"Oh, for God's--urgh..." Groaning, Makoto followed after her.

"If you're going to argue like dogs then can you please do it outside? You're causing quite the commotion and disrupting classes." Kazenari addressed the two in her usual icy voice. She turned to face Kujo first. "You're from here right? May I ask why you're not in class right now?"

Turning to the other guy, she met his glare with her own. "Outsiders aren't normally allowed in here unless it's important business. Tell me, for what purpose did you come here? From the looks of it, you don't seem like you're here to enroll or shift schools."

She noticed the dog he brought with him. Pets aren't normally allowed in their school but Kazenari decided against bringing up the matter for now. Makoto turns his attention on Kujo.

"Hey, where's Hirabayashi-san? Isn't she with you? And I don't think I've seen Aziz anywhere." He asked though it was more of a starter rather than an actual question. Though he reckons Aziz might've done a better job at calming them down than either he or Kazenari can.

Hotaru was somewhat afraid of the actions going on but decided to step in and offer some help of her own. She walked over to the two arguing males and the student council president to brightly smile.

"Hey, guys. I don't really think we should be fighting on school grounds. I can understand if it's stress or any grudges that you two might have but Kazenari-senpai is right. We shouldn't really do this on school grounds. You can settle your issues outside if need be. You might be scaring the little puppy here too."

She knelt down to gently pet Hudson, somewhat distracted with how cute he was but mainly to put emphasis on the tiny puppy being in the middle of the fight as well. She then heard footsteps and saw familiar grey locks and winced a bit. Noa Arai had entered the scene with a very deep frown on her face.

"Will all of you keep quiet? You're disrupting study hall, aggravating my already awful mood and just being general annoyances. Then again, I shouldn't have been surprised. The both of you have the general look of ruffians, so I should have expected you to have the intellect and temper to match."

Hotaru winced as she approached Noa.

"Noa-chan, they're already mad enough, I don't think you're helping them calm down by calling them all that..."

Noa focused her attention on Hotaru with her frown fading somewhat.

"If that was the case, then they'd shut up and leave the school when they're obviously not welcome here."

"But, Noa-chan, Kujo-kun goes to the school too-"

"Hah?"

She turned her glare towards the purple haired male.

"I cannot possibly believe that he would ever take school seriously with that unrefined image. Shouldn't he be ditching right about now? That's what foolish punks like him do after all."

Hotaru just whimpered a bit before regaining her confidence.

"Noa-chan, seriously. Calm down. Kazenari-senpai is working hard to stop this fight. I'm sure you're trying your best too but you don't know what you're getting into..."

Noa fell silent for a bit before huffing and walking away.

"Just get to class, mutt."

Hotaru shook her head.

"I don't know what's wrong with Noa-chan..."

She then turned her attention to Hayato and smiled a bit.

"Hi. You said you wanted some information, right?"

She wrote down her number and gave it to Hayato with a wide grin.

"I'm Hotaru Emirsdottir. I don't really know if I'll be able to help you out with whatever you need information on but I'm available as a listening ear."

Waving goodbye, she then turned her attention to Kujo.

"Kujo-kun, I don't think Fuyumi-chan knew about what was going on between you and that stranger. Please, don't get too mad at her..."

Fuyumi could hear a crowd suddenly chanting for a fight before hearing an unfamiliar woman's voice, Hotaru's voice and another unfamiliar woman's voice break it up. She sighed in relief.

"I believe someone already took care of that for you."

Fuyumi smiled a bit.

"In any case, I'm extremely grateful for your assistance in helping me with getting a seeing-eye dog, Miss Makinami."

She politely bowed in front of Nagisa and offered her a warm smile.

The fight was starting to get rather extreme before a familiar steely voice cut in. The crowds backed off a bit when the student council president showed up- Hayato grimaced, glaring at Kujo. This wouldn't have escalated this far had he not been such a damn loudmouth. And now that the student council was involved, he knew he didn't have a chance against administration.

"Just some business with this guy that couldn't wait," He growled under his breath. He affixed his stare on Kujo again, who he was fairly sure was looking more and more like a rabid dog with every passing second that was spent with him steaming.

A brunette who looked relatively friendly attempted to assist- but things really got bad when a white-haired girl came over and had some harsh words for them. Mostly directed at Kujo.

It surprised Hayato how quiet he was being, though his gritted teeth was saying something else. Finally, though, as the girl started walking away, he snapped.

"Well, what the fuck do you know, Miss FUCKING Know-it-All?! Rrgh--! Thinking you're better than everyone else just because you got high numbers on test papers?! Tough shit! Fuckin' walk away like a damn coward because you know nothing about this kind of business! Stay the fuck out!"

After yelling out, Kujo whirled around to seemingly charge Hayato, but surprisingly a few other students ran up.

"Kujo! Keep it together!"

"Get a grip!"

They seemed to be some of his more concerned friends. Hotaru immediately apologized on Fuyumi's behalf, but Kujo simply growled and pushed her out of his way.

"Yeah, Hirabayashi's got nothing to do with this. Emirsdottir, make like her and stay out of this. Keep Arai away from it too! Fuck!"

Hayato shoved the number in his pocket before clicking his tongue in annoyance at the escalated situation. This wasn't good, at least for Westside's reputation, and he didn't want to move this early and risk Enigma catching wind and attempting to hit them while they weren't looking.

"Tch...this situation's gotten too bad. Nobuyuki, we'll settle this somewhere else."

Hayato's glare hardened.

"And next time you won't have this much support, mark my words."

"Yeah, go on, you fuckin' backstabber. Fuck off! Get out!"

"Liked and disliked about the old cafe?"

Genji leaned back a little, thinking for a moment.

"Hmm...well, for one, the atmosphere had a pretty homely feel to it. Friendly staff made for a positive experience, plus that kind of demeanor around the place does a weary traveler good."

He lightly tapped his finger on his arm.

"Could say that the decor could use a little work though. It got a little bland to look at after a little while."

He rubbed his neck a bit.

"And some residents would play with the sound system a lot...but that's only the few things I could probably nitpick about."

"That's great. In any case--"

Nagisa thought briefly.

"Well, since I still have a few classes left- I'm on my break, after all-, you can go out and explore a little bit for a while. You could ask someone to accompany you if you wish, but let's meet up outside the school gates when I'm done at around...3:30? I'll go call Kanade to let her know you're coming."

"Nobuyuki-san! Calm down!" Makoto immediately tells Kujo off when he started yelling loudly at Hotaru and Noa. "We won't get anything by being hot-headed about it! Why don't step back and walk if off?!"

"Itsuna-kun is right. This situation's under the jurisdiction of the Student Council now. Any more interference and we might as well get the Board involved." Kazenari warns the rest. The Board makes most of the decisions when it comes to several matters. Including suspending students caught breaking the rules.

"You too Arai-san." Makoto turns to Noa as well. "I don't know what went on with you two but you can always talk things over back at the dorm."

Kazenari nodded, satisfied with the efforts of her own members. "Itsuna-kun get Nobuyuki-kun back to class. Arai-kun, get all these people out of here. That includes you, Hotaru-san." Through her authority, Kazenari orders the crowd to disperse and stick to their own business.

"Nobuyuki-san, let's go." Makoto gestures to Kujo to get going.

"And as for you--" With most of the bystanders gone, Kazenari can now turn her attention to whom Kujo referred to as a Hound: one of the more prominent gangs around Castle West Side. "You said you wanted information. Uncanny timing, we have questions we're trying to answer as well."

A West Side Hound just has to show up right at their doorstep. As much as the commotiuon it caused was rather unwelcome, it did get the ball rolling for Kazenari to put her plan in motion. In a way, she saw it a stroke of luck.

But--

WAAAAAHHHHH!!!!

A shrill scream echoed throughout campus, catching everyone's attention, including Kazenari.

"That sounded like it came from the HRM side!" Makoto muttered before he took off running in that direction.

"We'll continue this later--!" Breaking away for a moment, Kazenari followed a little after, so she could see what had just transpired.

Upon arriving, a crowd had already gathered near the orchard with several students and faculty peering from the windows and hallways. Cries of panic echoed through the halls.

"Call an ambulance quick!"

"What's going on?!" Kazenari finally managed to force through the crowd just in time for Makoto to rise up from the grassy floor.

"Fifth death in this school. Tatara Isuko." He managed to mutter. Ahead, another victim lay sprawled on the ground, blood dyeing the recently mowed lawn red.

From the wound on her head, it was obvious she had fallen from a great height. Kazenari looked up at the windows, trying to see which one. The only open windows however, were the ones with students peering out of it.

"Itsuna-kun, head to the security buildings quick! Arai-kun, go around those floors and ask if anyone saw where she fell or jumped from! On the double!"

"I'm on it!" Makoto nodded and immediately ran to the security office to check the footage from the security cameras.

"This is getting way out of hand..." Kazenari mutters to herself as the nearby medics finally arrived and started dispersing the crowd away to get Tatara's body out of there.

Orange Blossom - 1:00 PM

Kirika took note of every detail Genji had just told her. Certain things like decor certainly needed an overhaul. However, she was sure it shouldn't be too big a factor in turning people away. Still--for this man to keep on staying despite that. Surely there was something the old Black Rose had?

"Thank you." Kirika managed to say as she stood up. "For sticking with it. I can't guarantee the new one would be as nice but we will try."

"Got a little sidetracked a little so we now head to our original destination. Near Partisan Rose. Shouldn't be too hard to miss."

"Yes, ma'am."

Noa was about to walk away when she heard the screams of Tatara Isuko. She didn't know the girl personally but she was involved in her classes so Noa felt some form of connection towards her along with the human empathy one normally feels during someone's death. Still, while one would assume she was pushed out from a window, Noa had a small theory in her mind. Mainly, that someone could have led her up to the roof and pushed her off there. Regardless, she needed to get answers so she quickly ran to the fifth floor first, the one that had the most open windows. Part of her felt disgusted to see these students watching. Sure it was impossible to try and grab her and save her from the fall but the least amount of decency they could have was not make the death of someone innocent a media spectacle. Shaking off her disdain for now, she called out to the other students.

"Alright, back off. The Student Council is taking care of this situation as we speak. Before you go back to your classes, I've been appointed by the council to ask some questions. First, would anyone tell me what happened? Were there any witnesses to Tatara-san's untimely death outside of her falling? Was she pushed? Did she jump?"

She pulled out a notebook and pencil.

"I don't want anyone to lie about this. The justice of Tatara-san rests with all of you."

Hotaru winced a bit as Kujo had shoved her but hearing the scream of Tatara Isuko as she fell to her death caused her to briefly shut down for a moment. She had heard about the murders going on in this school and didn't want any more deaths to happen but one just did and it was one she could clearly hear. In any case, Hotaru stepped into action.

"Everyone, please get to class, right now! I know you're worried for Isuko-chan but we can't help her unless we let authorities try to do something. And, if any of you have any information regarding Isuko-chan, please tell the student council! I imagine they need a lot of information!"

Hotaru turned to Kujo with a worried look on her face.

"Kujo-kun, we need to find out what happened with Isuko-chan. I can't just let this guy get away with doing what he wants..."

Fuyumi smiled warmly at Nagisa.

"Thank you very much. I apologize for taking up your-"

She then could hear a faint scream and her face went completely pale. She picked up the boxed lunches and handed them to Nagisa.

"Forgive me, Miss Makinami but I'm afraid I heard something. These lunches are for you and Mr. Nobuyuki to enjoy at your leisure. That's the main reason why I came over here. Now, if you'll excuse me..."

She listened for some way to get to the rooftop but a lot of students talking greatly stunted her hearing.

"This isn't good... I have to rely on my touch to get to and from the school."

She felt across the hallway for a way to figure out where the rooftop was. Normally with a falling kind of scream, it came from high up. Fuyumi immediately suspected that the rooftop would be the highest place one could fall from. So, she had to look for any kind of clues or information there.

"I may not be going to this school but I can't just be an outsider and do nothing..."

At first Nagisa was rather confused by the sudden scream and Fuyumi running off, though she had to admit she was concerned by the sound. She ran over, about to catch up with the blind girl before she felt a pair of hands on her shoulders.

"Wha--?"

They were Akame's friends, and Nagisa's brow furrowed in confusion.

"Makinami...come with us. There's been another murder."

"H-Huh--? Who was it?"

"Tatara Isuko-san, from the other class..."

It didn't take long for Nagisa to run over to the scene. When she got there however, the medics were already moving the crowd along while they retrieved Tatara. Nagisa could make out Akame nearby, her eyes wide with shock.

"O-Oh my god...Isuko-san...was--"

"Ichinose!"

Akame fell a bit slack against Nagisa the moment the black-haired girl's hand touched her shoulder.

"S-She was from our class--! W-Why...?"

"What the hell?! This is out of hand!"

Kujo rushed over, followed by Hayato. Even the stern man seemed to have been fazed by the sudden murder.

"Did she jump?"

"Who the hell would do that?!"

"I-Isuko-san was p-perfectly fine...she wouldn't just end her life like that..."

"And I doubt she'd scream like that had she committed suicide."

"Where the hell did she fall from?"

Hayato looked up at the building, scowling.

"Nngh...that damn Hijikata made a mention about someone with that name before. Maybe this'll push Enigma to action..."

"Who gives a shit about Enigma right now? A murder just--! You know what?! I'm going up there!"

"Kujo, wait-!"

Kujo already took off running to get into the building. Nagisa grunted, and just focused on consoling her friend.

"Makinami...whoever it is k-killed someone from my class too...who's to say I'm not gonna be next? I-I don't wanna die!"

"You won't. We're not-- no one's going to die again Ichinose. We promise..."

Genji nodded, managing a small smile before pulling his mask back up and starting to walk out of the cafe.

"I'm surprised Mitsuru-san's lax enough to let others drive his car," He mumbled a bit as he went back to the car and got in.

Kurogane Technical Institute - 1:00 PM

Kurogane's Security Building was located on a separate building from the actual institute. It was disguised as a small, bungalow type building on campus that also doubles as a supply room and guard's quarters. Security personnel do not really supervise the cameras 24/7 but one only needs to ask for the footage from certain rooms and timeframes and they will gladly provide it.

Especially in cases of emergency.

Makoto was scouring through footage after footage--a task that was very difficult considering he had to check several rooms, hallways and floors. To narrow down the times, he started checking footage starting at around 10:00, considering almost all of them heard Tatara Isuko scream as she fell.

The rooms in the HRM building didn't show anything out of the ordinary. Occupied rooms had classes, unoccupied ones only had a few people mingling and taking advantage of the airconditioning units. All Makoto saw was regular routine until one of the cameras snagged the falling body of Tatara Isuko and the rest of the class went into disarray.

"Then, she must've fallen from the roof..." Makoto thought.

The problem was that there was no cameras on the rooftop itself. There was one on the 12th floor hallway but it doesn't peer into the staircase itself. However, the blind spot here is a little small so it can somehow see who was coming and going. It caught both him and the vice-president Taichi, heading up then down earlier in the morning but both of these occurred before Tatara Isuko fell. Tatara Isuko herself only went up around 12:00 PM--both he, the vice president and three other male students have already gone down then.

"Damn! No luck..." Makoto cursed under his breath. He doesn't have the mental capacity to think about this incident. The security personnel asked him if that was all he needed to see.

"Yeah. Ah, but can you prepare a copy of all the footage today? I'm sure the cops would want to see it as well."

His task done, Makoto leaves the Security Building.

Kurogane Technical Institute - 3:00 PM

Listening in to both gang members made Kazenari perk up. The ambulance had already arrived earlier along with the police. Regular classes were suspended for the day and the HRM students and faculty were all subjected to questioning and investigation.

After being questioned and redirecting the police to the Security Building, Kazenari was able to break away and approach both Kujo and Hayato.

"If it doesn't bother you, I would like to continue this conversation elsewhere. The Sagittarius. 3rd Floor in Emerald Gardens. I'll be there at 6 if you want to push through with your own investigation." Kazenari whispers to Hayato before disappearing among the crowd finished with questioning and headed home.

Just as Kazenari left, Makoto returned after his long absence. Tatara's body was already wheeled away and from the looks of it, the rest were allowed to head home. He saw Nagisa, Kujo and Hotaru and immediately went over to them.

"Anyone see Arai-san? Cops wants us to clear the place once questioning is done. We should all head home for now."

He noticed something peculiar upon seeing Nagisa and Kujo though.

"Nobuyuki-san, Makinami-san...where's Hirabayashi-san?" Makoto asks, looking for their visiting resident.

8th Street - 3:15 PM

"Yay! Glad that's all over with!" Kazuya breathed a sigh of relief as he and Akeno walked out of the school. The whole chore thankfully didn't take too long and they were soon walking on their way back to the dorm. En route, Kazuya espied an arcade that had recently opened near the edge of school.

"Whoah! Akeno-chan look!" Kazuya pointed at the arcade. "Bet there's a lot of cool prizes to win over there! Ah! That crane game looks like it has great offerings!" He took Akeno's hand and practically led her inside.

"Hey, do you have anything you want? Believe it or not, I'm quite handy with these kinds of consoles!" Kazuya proudly steps up to the machine.

8th Street - 3:00 PM

"I'm not that surprised at all considering this is the cheapest car among the five he owns. Technically, this was to be given to me but as you can see, I'm no driver." Kirika explains, unintentionally declaring a fraction of their wealth to their temporary helper.

They arrived at the warehouse Kirika pointed at. It wasn't hard to find considering the other establishments were all new and chic places while it remained looking rather old with some paint peeling off the gates and walls.

"Let's go. It shouldn't take too long."

Old Black Rose - 5:05 PM

"You seem worried there Akeno-chan." Kazuya asked, a little concern at how Akeno's gaze followed her cousin all the way downstairs. Perhaps he found it a little unusual since he never got along with his cousins? Well, it wasn't like every family was like his which is why he felt like he wanted to understand her a bit more so he sat down beside Akeno. "Hey, you never told me what your family is like. You said your mom prefers tea over coffee--hmm...could you be...part-British?"

Kazuya wondered. He didn't really know Akeno's family background that much. "We would be able to prepare well in advance if we knew about it. If they're from British descent then I can just throw down random stuff and they'll surely love it! Their cuisine's quite bland anyway so--hahaha! Or I can do a simple bacon and eggs right haha!"

Blue Lotus Lobby - 5:05 PM

Kirika heard Akeno's cousin follow her downstairs, just as she finished sorting out Kazuya's visitor pass with Ritsuka. She recalled him being a newcomer to the dorm--only yesterday in fact.

"What is it? If it's about the guidelines or facilities then you'd be better off asking my brother--he's the one who owns this place anyway."

Kirika likewise, voices out the first thought that crossed her mind.

Uzamaki Ramen Hut - 5:15 PM

Having followed Taichi outside just by the parking lot, Makoto stood by with Noa. He could see the table he shared with Cel by the window. It seemed like their orders haven't been sent out yet. He caught Cel's attention and the woman just nodded at him.

"Well, Shirazumi-san--" Makoto started.

"You're quite rude huh?" Taichi calmly jabs at him. "Mere historian ordering me around and ruining my little dinner plans."

"I don't know. Those girls seemed to be hooked on to you already. Bet they're already at your beck and call at all times anyway."

"You're quite mean Itsuna-kun. Those girls lead way more interesting and colorful lives than both of you. Don't look down on them just because you're on the council--you don't know what's going on with their lives." Taichi steps up for the ladies earlier. "Besides, they have given me some important information prior to your coming here. Information related to what I am about to show you."

Makoto felt a little stung by Taichi's words. He's just done one thing he didn't like others doing to him. He cursed himself for coming to assumptions too quickly but nonetheless kept his calm. It wasn't the time for self-loathing now. Not when lives are involved.

"Yeah that. I suppose it has something to do with what you were telling me earlier?"

"Yes." Taichi paced around as he talked. Despite nearing rush hour, Nocturne Alley was quite empty of people. "Those girls were Tatara Isuko's classmates. If we are to believe what they just told me, then they were with the victim two hours before she--well, before it happened."

"What?" Makoto was surprised. From what he heard from Noa, none of the students at the time bothered to speak up.

"Yeah. I wasn't just here with them to satisfy my own ego. Besides, didn't Tohsaka wanted us to use every means at our disposal to help stop these string of murders? So don't judge me. Anyway--according to them, Tatara Isuko had already been acting paranoid since morning. She would always turn back as she walked, like someone was following her."

"Like a stalker?" Makoto suggested.

"Maybe. Those girls also said she missed two classes today. I don't know. We'll have to check the attendance sheets to find out. Anyway, the last time they saw her was in the cafeteria. And yes, she still seemed to think someone was following her."

Makoto pondered over Taichi's story. "Is that it? Have they talked to her or anything?"

"No. Based from what they say, Tatara Isuko didn't seem too likeable among the girls in the class." Taichi glanced at Noa before resuming his tale. "She was your typical stuck-up, by-the-book girl in the class apparently. She would often reprimand her other classmates for even the most trivial of things. Wouldn't actually be surprised if the murderer was someone from their class."

"Shirazumi--!"

"Well, am I wrong? Sometimes the victims aren't always your good little angels who's well loved by everyone. Anyway, it at least starts to make sense. Considering what I dug up just after Wakaba Mutsu's death yesterday."

"And that is?"

Hearing that, Taichi took out his phone and started heading to the folder where he kept his screenshots. He hands it to Makoto who immediately started scanning the images.

The screenshots were of a forum discussion website. And the particular thread Taichi dug up was practically a thread where people talk about the students they hated anonymously. The subjects were explicitly named and the reasons why the poster hated them were explicitly highlighted.

And there were a lot. The first victim, Kyoko Akiyama who was killed two years ago seemed to be disliked for being the girlfriend of some guy from another school. Wakaba Mutsu was hated on for her grades while Megumi Harada well--the people commenting bad things seemed to be mad at the fact that she was able to get into Kurogane Technical. Makoto assumed they were former classmates or people from her old school. It was a deep hole Taichi's dug alright.

"A forum where people talk about hating on other people...a revenge website..." Makoto realized. Taichi just smirked to himself.

"Makes sense doesn't it? Almost all the victims so far had been discussed there at some point. My guess is that this how the killer found his targets."

"I see...wait, why would you tell those girls that Tatara-san committed suicide then?"

"Hey, haven't you been listening? I already slipped when I jokingly accused one of them to be the murderer haven't I? Had I not made that joke then if the killer had been one of those then I would have ended up dead and you wouldn't have your lead." Taichi explains his actions.

"You were a little too loud though. Was that part of the plan as well?"

"Oh that?" Taichi chuckled. "No. That was a jab at the stupid school's image. Allow me my indulgences, Itsuna-kun."

Having heard Taichi out, Makoto continued browsing through the other images, making a couple more chilling discoveries. While he was preoccupied, Taichi turns to Noa again with a sly smirk on his face.

"Well, Miss Treasurer? Do you have your own questions?"

The Sagittarius - 5:45 PM

The Sagittarius was a rather classy joint mainly patronized by people coming from the upper class. Located at the third floor of Emerald Gardens, it was right near trendy and classy clothes and furniture shops--most of which beyond the budget of the ordinary student. It was a restaurant mainly dealing with Nordic dishes and the whole place was decorated like a fancy mess hall inside a fancy cruise ship with framed photos of Norway sights and sounds.

Kazenari had arrived earlier then their supposed meeting time in order to secure a spot and was relieved to find that at least only six of twenty tables were occupied with customers.

She was dressed in her usual casual attire consisting of a white dress shirt and pants. She also had a brown jacket on. All-in-all, nothing to give away the fact that she was from Kurogane Technical much less its Student Council president. She casually approached the receptionist and asked for a table.

"Good evening and welcome to The Sagittarius mam!" A mild-mannered, well-dressed gentleman welcomed her.

"Good evening. Table for two please?" Kazenari asks. The man looked around to see if anyone was following and upon seeing no one, assumed she would be waiting for someone.

"Right this way please."

The man seated her at a cozy table with a view of the window. Seeing that the man, she was meeting with hadn't arrived yet, she had went ahead and ordered when the server arrived, in order to speed things along once the man arrives.

"A'ight! Let's go!"

Kujo helped her up and started to head to the nearest bus stop to catch a ride back to Blue Lotus.

Blue Lotus Dormitory - 5:40 PM

"Sheesh! I didn't think it would take that long. In any case, Hirabayashi, I'm just gonna hang in my room for the rest of the day. Mind giving me a holler in case Bro comes around?"

He turned to Fuyumi, slapping his hands together and grinning sheepishly.

"I'm really glad..."

Misaka beamed, and nodded vigorously.

"Alright! We'll try a new song then! I hope you'll be there still cheering for us Hotaru-chan."

She paused, and scratched at her neck.

"Ahahah...I still remember the Battle of the Bands. Yu-chan and you were in the Star Section but we were all in Reserve, so we didn't know who you guys were cheering for...Eheheh!"

The Sagittarius - 5:50 PM

"Finally. Now how am I to explain that I took a bit longer because I was dealing with a puppy?"

Hayato stuck out like a sore thumb in Emerald Gardens, and he knew it. He adjusted his beanie and shoved his hands into his pockets. It was a habit of him to show up to meetings that weren't with his gang early, but after attempting to pry Hudson off of his leg, and after the puppy had retaliated by sleeping on his boots (and try as he might, Hayato didn't have the heart to disturb his sleep), he finally reached the area.

Despite his getup, he managed to heave a sigh of relief. Though anyone who knew and dug up a lot of information on the gangs of Castle City would know about him- even a little-, he prided himself on the fact that at first glance, no one would be able to tell that he was a Hound, much less its leader. Unlike his members, he didn't wear any of their insignias on him.

Was that blasphemy? As a leader? It was one thing he didn't like to think about.

It took him only a little more time to find the restaurant in question- and though he's definitely heard that it was fancy, he didn't think it was this fancy. And dare he say it, he almost felt awkward being there. Everyone was all dolled up, and only for a dinner at a cruise ship-looking restaurant.

Though the receptionist gave him an odd look when he showed up, it lightened his mood slightly to see that the person he was supposed to be meeting with was dressed casually. It was fairly easy to pick out the girl from only six tables of a crowd.

"Nordic, huh? People sure do love attempting all the strangest themes in restaurants nowadays."

The half-hearted comment was mostly to show that he had arrived. Taking a seat just across from her, he lowered his voice so that only they could hear.

"I'll come out and say it. The Hounds are an impatient bunch. More than half already want to launch a full-on raid on every place in Knight's Sector. We need a lead and info soon, or- I'm sure- the Hounds start raiding and cause more trouble than it's worth, interrupting the investigations even more. And that's not even throwing Enigma into the mix."

Honestly, Hayato's concerns lay more in the fact that he hadn't heard from Enigma in a while. The only time Hijikata Reiji was silent was when he was planning. But the Hounds wanted to find more territory, and some of his senior members were the ones that lost certain people to the killer, and Hayato knew he had to address it lest Enigma catches them off their guard.

Old Black Rose - 5:20 PM

Kazuya listened in attentively to Akeno's tale. The girl confessed to having a difficult family life with a very strict mother, and about having to live up to expectations so that other families may look up to them. He also felt bad about nonchalantly asking about her family without knowing the full story.

"Sorry." Kazuya started with an apology once Akeno finished her tale. "I didn't know and I just kept asking." He patted her on the shoulder. "Hey! I bet they'll be surprised once they see you on Friday! You can make sandwiches that are as good as mine (clearly, he did not agree with Kirika's assessment XD) and have a renewed, modern fashion sense! All of it the result of your experiences in this place. And not to brag but you also have me as a new friend so your circle of friends have just grown by one! That's good progress isn't it?" Kazuya asks her with a smile.

Still, he wondered about the mindset they took with regards to their family. Why the Brits of all people? The culture between the two were too far apart. Second, he couldn't exactly get the whole "perfect" daughter part. How would they expect people to see Akeno more if she can't be exposed to things that could develop her skills? Akeno also expressed concern with regards to the distance between her and Kazuya and seemed rather upset about it.

"Hmm...well your cousin seems like the distant, quiet sort..." Kazuya thought of what they can do to bond and get closer again. "Ah! How about you do a Seven Mysteries thing!"

Kazuya looked back at her to see if she was still following. "Back from where I came from, almost every place has mysteries associated with it, with seven being the most common. I'm sure there are some in here too! Yep, I think it's the perfect past time to share with that quiet guy! Yep!"

Kazuya crossed his arms, looking rather proud. Had his father been around, he was sure he would praise him for that idea. "So...don't feel too bad now okay? I'm always around to talk if you need me. Except maybe at 12 midnight to 6 in the morning since I'll be asleep hehe!"

Blue Lotus Lobby - 5:10 PM

Surprisingly, Tadakatsu didn't ask about things related to the dorm. Rather, his questions were about her mention of Kazuya and Akeno having fun. He thought she saw them walking home together and that was probably what she referred to. Admittedly, she didn't like the boy's tone and his choice of words. It was almost like he was accusing her of something.

"And? What if I did?" Nonetheless, Kirika asks in her usual uninterested tone of voice. "Does it concern or bother you in any way?"

Uzamaki Ramen Hut - 5:20 PM

"Hmm...getting to the bottom of this by tracking the website's domain isn't easy..." Makoto expresses his thoughts about Noa's idea. "First off, this forum site's pretty big with multiple threads dealing with a variety of subjects. The site may as well be located abroad."

"Yeah. Besides, the whole thing started with a simple discussion of "Do you have stories about people you hate at school?". Kind of like a chain letter. Once someone revs it up, it just gets going and going as people started talking. Pretty soon, everyone is explicitly mentioning names and other stuff." Taichi added.

"As far as everything's concerned, the site nor the site owner's not the problem. Rather, it's the ones sharing stories."

"Which is practically 75% of the student body from all three universities--even more."

Next thing Noa expressed her concern about is whether or not her name has popped up in the lists. Makoto turns to Taichi about this, given that he was the one who found the site first. It is also where his next concern lay.

"I haven't had the time to give the threads an in-depth look. The only reason I brought this up was because Tatara, Wakaba, Akiyama and Harada were explicitly named. It is possible they've been discussing you anonymously..." Taichi smirked again. "But yes, I think I've found your name dropped at a thread just before I stumbled into Wakaba's thread."

"Seriously?" Even Makoto was surprised.

"Yes. And so is my name and Tohsaka's. It's a venting site Itsuna-kun, what do you expect?" Taichi explained. "Well is that it? I'll need more time if I am to check this out any further. Most importantly, I've yet to bring it up with Tohsaka--

"I have one." Makoto finally speaks up his doubts. "How did you stumble upon this site Shirazumi-san? I don't think this would've popped up normally when you look it up. Is it possible that you've been posting here as well?"

"Of course not. I don't have anyone I hate in particular." Taichi sighed though he grinned again when he glanced at Noa. "Well maybe one or two but I have enough balls to tell it to their faces. No, I stumbled upon this the old fashioned way. I asked people."

"Asked which people?"

"You know who. The ones in that 'other place'? The one place we are never welcomed fondly?" Taichi's words immediately sunk in once Makoto realized what he was talking about.

"No way."

Taichi just chuckled. "You guys need to get your heads out of the books and explore the real world. You'd be astonished at what you'll find. Well, I reckon you know it now so I'll be taking my leave. Good night!"

And with that, Taichi Shirazumi disappeared into the night.

"In this city, there is one such place as what Taichi described." Makoto muttered within Noa's earshot. "A place where Kurogane students like ourselves aren't welcomed with open arms. Do you know what it is Arai-san?"

The Sagittarius - 5:50 PM

"Ah, there you are. I ordered for us if you don't mind. And don't worry, let me foot the bill for this night." Kazenari greeted the man from earlier. Like her, he had come to that place dressed casually and as far as Kazenari's eye could tell, nothing to declare that he was a member of a gang in the city. He arrived early as well.

A good first impression overall. Likewise, the man immediately got straight to the point by telling her how the Hounds have gotten riled up over the deaths. Knight's Sector is also the belt where most of the schools are located so the potential for the chaos to spiral out of control was very high.

"Yes. However, everything has a process by which it must be done. I'm sure you'll agree with me here. So first off--" On her side, Kazenari wanted to confirm a nagging suspicion she held the first time she saw the man and now that he has arrived to meet her here.

"You are...the leader of the Westside Hounds correct?"

"Yeah! Maybe, when all three schools get together, they can hold like a big music competition. Or, just a music event in general. Hotaru-chan, you should participate too!"

Misaka's eyes sparkled a bit as she spoke, smiling brightly.

"We'll be there to help you all the way!"

"Ngh--!"

Hayato grunted, somewhat surprised that the girl already knew that he was Westside's leader. He fell quiet fora little bit- thinking back. Perhaps she saw him? Maybe at one point, she guessed that he was the leader? Was it because of Nobuyuki's reckless dialogue? Maybe his own?

Nevertheless, it seemed like that was the only reasonable thing to do if he wanted to find out how she knew.

"How did you--"

Nope, hardly the reaction of a respectable gang leader. He cleared his throat.

"But, yes. I do happen to be the Hounds' leader. How did you figure that out?"

Old Black Rose - 5:30 PM

"Hey, we won't know until we try so don't be too worried about it!" Kazuya assures Akeno once he heard her concerns about her mother not liking anything she has done so far. "Of you think about things too much then you'll never be able to cross that bridge when you get there. Sometimes, it's nice to make sudden decisions. Sure, we may make mistakes but that's part of learning too!"

"Just don't make the mistake of putting playdough in a microwave haha!!!"

It seemed the girl is looking up somehow so Kazuya felt it was alright to take it easy. Before he knew it, she hugged him gently before asking about the other things he had in mind. The act caught him off guard so he felt a little flustered.

"H-Huh? Oh, the menu...hmm..." Kazuya thought for a bit. "I wanted to do some rice dishes as well but if Kirika-san says she doesn't want me to do the menu then this probably concludes my business here."

Kazuya sighed as he sat down, thinking. "Ah! What about you Akeno-chan? Do you have something you want to try making but can't? Tell me and I'll try to help out. Let's see...how about making something for Tadakatsu-san? Something he might like?"

Blue Lotus Lobby - 5:15 PM

Surprisingly, the conversation went from slightly confronting to awkward fast with Tadakatsu admitting that socializing isn't his strong suit. Kirika relaxed. She heard him suggest joining in for a win-win situation. Kirika just sighed.

"I was driving in the car while they were in the arcade. Considering I've put my driver through enough detours as it is, I wouldn't want to keep him waiting any longer. That's all." Kirika explained.

"So are you done? Or do you have other concerns you want to talk about?"

Uzuamaki Ramen Hut - 5:30 PM

Makoto nodded when Noa brought up the other school. "Exactly. Outside of academics and university pride, St. Gabriel's and Kurogane Technical have long been hostile towards each other for an entirely different reason. We get along fine with the St. Gabriel students from the dorm but point is, it isn't exactly a place we can expect to just visit casually. It's not our territory after all."

He supposed Noa already knew the reason why so he decided to just leave it at that as well. "So for Taichi to actually get information from the other side...you have to hand it to him, his sneakiness and smooth-talking has its purposes."

He realized he had kept Cel waiting inside for quite some time and with Taichi gone well...there wasn't much reason to stay outside any longer. Yoite was waiting inside as well.

"Well, we'll know more tomorrow. I think. Let's go back."

(OOC: Will upload Kurogane - St. Gabriel Black History in the Library Files later so Kurogane characters will have that shared knowledge.)

The Sagittarius - 6:00 PM

Kazenari managed a slight smile when she caught this man off-guard upon confessing she believed him to be the Hound's leader. He asked her how she found out and he did confirm her suspicions. Still, the man could easily be lying but nonetheless, Kazenari felt her intuition was right on the money.

"Three things: First was the school visit and Nobuyuki-kun's earlier outburst. It was the way he recognized you. If I am to give an example...you cannot recognize the faces of everyone in the diet but you can at least recognize the Prime Minister's face. For him to recognize you that way means you're an active member of your gang seen regularly by those they come into conflict with. You must be the leader or at least, someone close to them."

The waiter soon arrived, pouring them each a glass of white wine. Kazenari takes a sip from hers, complimenting the drink. Once the waiter was off, she continued.

"The second is this, meeting me personally out here. For all you know, I could be someone from the other factions. There's a risk of sending someone who can turn traitor and leak your secrets. Given how odd all these circumstances are, the person sent should be someone well-respected and trusted within the group. Perhaps even the leader himself."

She paused for a while to see if he was still following.

"The last thing was simply, a gamble. When I initially asked, I had nothing backing up my suspicions aside from the previous assumptions. Your reaction prior to your confession gave it away for me. Besides, I don't think you're a good enough actor to fake your expressions."

Kazenari laid each one out in detail so there's no room for confusion. Appetizers were brought out first, consisting of prawns and egg over rye bread. Quite a simple start.

"Well, we're not going to get anywhere unless the facts are clear for both of us so let me start with this: Kyoko Akiyama, Marie Kosuki, Megumi Harada, Wakaba Mutsu, Tatara Isuko..." Kazenari enumerated the five victims in order starting from the first up to the most recent one. "Any of these names sound familiar? I believe some of them were affiliated with your group at some point. Possibly as a lover or a relative."

"Yeah, but-- the stages looked great at that one. You really did a good job."

Misaka grinned up at her friend.

"Hey, Hotaru-chan? Has anything noteworthy happened at the dorm? I really wanna hear about the stories here..."

Hayato listened intently, staring blankly at the glass of white wine. When she made a comment about him being a rather bad actor, he just gave a half-hearted shrug.

"True."

Then the topic of the five victims and who they had been affiliated with was brought up. Hayato only needed to wrack his brain for a little while before he remembered.

"Well, Marie Kosuki was the sister of one of my senior members, Rinto Kosuki. Knowing Rinto, Marie probably had an idea as to what was going on with her brother but chose not to tell."

There was another one, though not from his gang. He cleared his throat a bit.

"I suppose...Wakaba Mutsu, was it? She was very good friends with that guy named Harumi, some guy Nobuyuki refers to as his 'Bro'. It seems Nobuyuki knew her as well."

He glanced back up from when he had been looking at his fingers.

"I don't think the Hounds have ever brought up the other three victims unless they're talking about the killer. I don't know if any of them were affiliated with Enigma, but as far as I know, Mutsu and Kosuki are the only ones being caught up in possible gang activity."

Old Black Rose - 5:30 PM

"Strawberry cake huh? Hmm..." Kazuya thought about it for a bit. Truth is he has never really made a cake before and so he doesn't exactly know how it's done. He's tried baking other stuff but for now, cake was a little out of the question.

"Maybe I should practice at home?" Kazuya thought. Only a couple more days til the parent meeting and he wanted to show it off there too. He wondered if he could learn the recipe in time to also teach Akeno how.

"Alright! Let's do it! Ah, but probably tomorrow since this place doesn't have any ingredients for pastries nor strawberries for that matter." Kazuya beamed proudly as he takes her up on it. "The strip mall down at Queen's is a nice place to get fresh ingredients. I wonder if strawberries will be in season though?"

Kazuya makes a mental note to head over there tomorrow. Hopefully, he remembers this plan.

Blue Lotus Lobby - 5:20 PM

"Yeah, everyone does." Kirika muttered as Tadakatsu left. Making friends wasn't exactly her strongest point especially--

No, it wasn't right to think about it like that. She could hear the two indistinctively talking upstairs. As she said, the two seemed to be having fun. Honestly, it should be a relief to her that Kazuya could somehow laugh, smile and joke around again. However--

"Gah! Why does this all feel so frustrating?" Feeling frustrated for some reason, Kirika marches up to her room. She needed both the quiet and the space to cool off. As her head fell on the pillows, her thoughts soon started to dim until she fell asleep.

Uzamaki Ramen Hut - 5:35 PM

"You sure took your sweet time talking." Cel greeted Makoto as he rejoins her at the table. Their ramen had already been served though Cel hadn't touched hers yet.

"Sorry. You should've gone ahead and eaten without me."

"No can do! Family principle says we all eat together at the table. Besides, if I finish up before you and clean up while you're eating, you'll grow old a bachelor!"

"Ugh! Is that how it happens?"

"Maybe. It's an old superstition from where I was from."

"Superstitions do not really have--"

"--scientific basis I know. I take up engineering remember?"

"Your field isn't exactly hard science though."

The two got to eating their ramen first, slurping it down as per usual ramen etiquette, finishing up in just a few minutes partly due to the fact that it had already cooled down. Makoto finished up first and waited for Cel to finish hers before putting the bowls away.

"Thank you for the meal." Makoto thanks the chef and turns back to Cel.

"Tough day huh? Must've been nasty to see." The look of Cel's eyes already screamed "I know" at Makoto.

"You looked it up?"

"While you chatted outside. Should I not have done that?" Cel asked. As per Makoto's earlier request though, she tried to keep it down as much as possible.

"Well...it can't be helped now that you know about it now. But--" Makoto's voice dropped a little. "Don't tell this to the others okay? It might hurt the school's reputation."

"Sure thing." Cel assured him. Given that it was Cel, Makoto didn't find it difficult to believe her words.

"Thanks."

"Why are you so concerned about the school's repuation anyway? Is that the only reason why you don't want this to get out? Just to avoid blowing up the topic?"

"Well, yeah. I mean, being a Kurogane student's one thing I actually take pride in you know? No. Perhaps it's the only thing I actually take pride in. So if the school's reputation goes down, I go down with it. Shirazumi-san and Harumi-kun don't understand that."

Hearing that, Cel takes the boy's hand in hers. Somehow, she could understand how he feels--having only the prestige of your school to hang on to. She feels that, though he may not say so directly...perhaps, he really likes studying in that school.

"Hey, want to take a small detour somewhere? Just before we go home." Cel suddenly asked.

"Well, I'm not in any rush. But why?"

"Nothing. So, are you up for it?"

Makoto thought for a bit. Honestly, he was feeling a little tired walking around left and right. However, he can't deny he wanted to spend a bit more time with Cel. After all, she was leaving tomorrow. Not that she won't be back but seeing as how busy the next week is going to be, he might as well make the most of this night.

"Alright. Where are we going?"

Cel just smiled. "You'll see."

The Sagittarius - 6:00 PM

Kazenari listened in attentively to the man discussing the victims he knew in-between light bites of the appetizer and some water. Of the five mentioned, only two seemed to be related with gang activity and even between the two, only one was directly involved with Westside. Whether others would've been involved with Enigma, even the man doesn't seem to know.

"I see. So based on what you said, this can possibly still be related to your ongoing power struggle." Kazenari thought for a bit. It's possible that the other girls were killed by Westside should they be revealed to be involved with Enigma.

"Yet something still seems off..." Kazenari thought as she glanced back at the man across the table.

"Quid pro quo. I believe you also have questions to ask of your own, correct? It's why you came to school in the first place after all." Before proceeding any further, Kazenari gives the opportunity for the man to ask his own questions. The main course also arrived just in time, with the elderly waiter setting their dishes in front of them: Beef Stroganoff for the man and a fried herring for Kazenari.

"Feel free to dig in first if you please--umm..." It was only then that Kazenari realized they haven't introduced themselves to each other yet.

"New friends?"

Misaka paused- and hesitated for a moment. Truthfully she was still an introvert. The only new friend she's made at St. Gabriel's was Koga, and only because they met through the Gunners relay race and the fact that he worked at the same cafe as Hotaru. Yurin and Ridou weren't really new people, considering they were all together in Seven Stars.

But if she managed to be friends with Koga, then that means her social skills had improved somewhat...right? And though Kanade was rather rough and crass, Nagisa seemed to be friendly enough. Genji, or Gecky as how people referred to him in the dorm, seemed to be nice though a bit strange. Surely that was the same for most of the dorm? Strange but friendly?

She decided to hear about them, even just a little. She beamed up at Hotaru.

"I'd love to hear about them!"

"Hayato. Morikawa Hayato."

He introduced himself briefly, glancing down at the main course. Beef. His mind briefly wandered to Hudson back at home.

"Beef stroganoff. Maybe I should make this at home."

He breathed before taking the first bite, nodding quietly as if he was affirming something in his mind.

After swallowing, he glanced up.

"The Hounds mostly wanted to know what kind of people the victims were- if they were popular within the student populace, whether they've gotten into trouble, if any people particularly hated them, that kind of information. They think it'll help narrow down the suspects, and to see if some of them got into trouble with either us or Enigma."

He scowled briefly.

"Enigma's still our biggest suspect. I wouldn't be surprised if they were willing to attack weakened enemy territory to claim it, knowing that the Hounds took a massive blow way back then."

Old Black Rose - 5:40 PM

"Hmm...Well, if we're making cake then that'll eat up most of the budget already--considering we'll be buying separate ingredients for practice and the real thing." Kazuya makes a quick mental calculation of his remaining funds. "But between the cakes, the sandwiches and coffees...well, I think it'll be good enough. It's not like it's a party where the parents will stay for like, more than three hours." Kazuya turns around, trying to see if Kirika or Mitsuru were around to confirm it.

"At least that's what I think. Oh, and hey! What time do you get off school tomorrow?" Kazuya asks, apparently planning something.

The Sagittarius - 6:00 PM

"Morikawa-san it is then." Kazenari acknowledges the man's name before giving away hers. "My name is Kazenari Tohsaka."

Listening in to Hayato's questions, his first concern was the kind of students the girls were. Of course, for Kazenari, it was a difficult question to answer, seeing that none of the people she knows are privy to the private lives of these individuals. Nonetheless, she had to give her two cents worth on them.

"As far as I'm concerned, all of these girls are decent, rule-abiding students when they're within our school's halls. Otherwise, I'm not very familiar with them outside the gates so it is possible they could have been involved in something indecent. Perhaps even taking on completely different personalities. It is why I asked you if you knew any of these girls so we can find out more about them aside from what their records and families say."

The primary suspect Hayato was pinning down appeared to be Enigma; the rival gang. Kazenari didn't want to come to the conclusion just yet. After all--

"No, I don't think they are. For one, if most of these girls is as you say, not that related to your gang, what benefit would that provide the other gang? Kurogane is no longer their territory and they'll have to go against the full might of the local government if they want to take it over." Kazenari refers to the secular nature of the school and the tight rules it has imposed on forming "factions".

Kazenari clears her throat. "My turn. While Kurogane no longer counts as your territory either, I'd like to know why Westside is only taking action now when it's the fifth victim while all other murders fell on territories primarily controlled by Westside."

Kazenari shows a small piece of paper detailing the location where the deaths took place. "As far as I know, all those areas fall under your watch doesn't it?"

"Ah-- no, it's okay if you introduced me to the others. I wanna get better."

Misaka smiled a bit as Hotaru described her brand new friend. A really sweet guy...? She never really had an example of one, maybe except for Koga, but back in the Reserve band, nobody was really...sweet, per se.

"He's a movie buff? Well...if he's friendly, I'm okay with meeting him. It shouldn't be that difficult, right?"

She still felt like being a little bit cautious.

Hayato's brows stayed furrowed as the now named Kazenari spoke. True, Kurogane had been rather strict on the students and the topic of gang wars. He wouldn't know, though, since he was an outsider.

"Hmm...perhaps if the girls didn't have anything against Westside, they had something with Enigma and perhaps Hijikata just used that as grounds for attack."

He mumbled, half to himself and half to her. But her next question was about Westside only acting now.

"Hmm...only because the murders took place while we were at war with the other gangs. After all, getting booted out of our stronghold already set the other gangs off, and they wanted to finish us off while we were weak and such. At first, when we heard about the murders, my gang members chalked it up to the other gangs killing people and pinning the blame on us since we used to be stationed in the Institute. They made up an excuse about killing for revenge against them, I suppose."

He scratched his neck.

"Kosuki Rinto wanted to move as soon as Marie was killed, but we couldn't afford to take our eyes off the territory war or we were all going to die. We had to establish new territory fast, which led to the increase in gang activity here in Castle. Now that most of the gangs have been narrowed down to us and Enigma, this is the only time we can go to finally act on it. We were busy a long while."

Old Black Rose - 6:20 PM

"Well! Strawberry cake it is then! Ah, and don't worry about compensation. I have ways to circumvent this problem!" Kazuya assures Akeno as he prepared to head on home. As he'll be departing early, he was sure he won't be chewed out by his father this time.

"3:30 tomorrow huh? A little later but it'll do. Meet me at the cafeteria around that time then! I'll be waiting. Well, see you, and good night!" With that, the young man departed, heading back to his home.

The Sagittarius - 6:20 PM

"Hmm..." Kazenari muttered to herself as she listened to Hayato's explanation, as if she was already expecting the answer.

"Yes, it's possible. Given that you guys have been busy with your little territorial dispute, I doubt you would have the time to commit any small-scale murder. However--" Kazenari sternly narrowed her gaze at Hayato's. "Your fiercest rival is that St. Gabriel's gang Enigma correct? Well, your alibi applies to them too, no?"

"Don't get me wrong Morikawa-san--I'm not siding with neither yours nor Enigma's gang. All I'm saying is that it is highly unlikely that both gangs were involved this time around--given your territorial disputes."

Kazenari finishes her dinner, wiping her mouth with a napkin as their waiter took the empty dishes away. "It may sound unthinkable but my opinion is there is an involvement of a third party."

Grand Castle Observatory - 6:30 PM

"This is--!"

"Loving the view? I think you will."

Cel had brought Makoto over to the Grand Castle Observatory; one of the tallest structures in the city, almost reaching skyscraper height. The two were on the upper observation deck, as the top floor regularly closes at 4, to deter intruders from staking the place out. There were a bunch of people sharing the deck with them, mostly teens and young adults.

"Yeah. I rarely visit Bishop's Park myself so I've never really gone up to see this up close." Makoto explained as he leaned over the railing. Cel walks up beside him, peering through the binoculars between them, seemingly searching for something.

"Found it!" Cel taps Makoto on the arm, gesturing for him to look through the binoculars. Makoto does as he was told and he spotted Sapphire Theatrica, a rather luxurious resort/villa and casino mainly populated by those from the upper class.

"Sapphire Theatrica? What's so special about it?" He asked, wondering why Cel was looking into it.

"I once watched a live performance there. Some kind of piano recital, I think. No, wait--was it a musical ensemble? I don't know. I don't really remember haha~" Cel chuckled as she tried recalling the memory. "It was as part of our little "music appreciation trip". Umm...I hope you don't think I'm some kind of social climber or anything but, I like entertainment like that. Most of my friends just laugh and mock the performers."

"Hey, don't worry about it." He assures her. "I didn't really take your taste to be...I don't know? A little uptown, I guess? I couldn't really tell just by passing you in the lobby."

"That's cause' I'm not uptown. You know that."

"I guess."

"If I have the means though, I'll probably see a concert there every time it hosts one. Hell, I might even volunteer as a performer by then!"

"Wait--you can sing?"

"Anyone can Makoto. Even you." Cel teases him lightly.

"Urghh...you know what I mean. I mean like, professionally."

"No. Never entered a singing contest in my entire life. I do have something else though."

"Mind if I ask?"

"Hmm..." Cel thinks for a moment. "Nope! It's a secret~"

"Aww..." Makoto pretends to sulk for a while at her refusal to tell him. Cel just laughed.

"What about you? If you have that kind of amount, what would you do with it?" She asks.

"Get the best private investigator in the world and track the Iron Killer. That's how much I'm bothered by the guy. Or girl. Equality of course."

"You're that stressed out about it huh? Well, that's why I brought you here." Likewise, Cel leans over the railing, watching the people below them go about their usual routines. Above them, the stars have started peering within the night sky, calming down the overall mood of the city.

"Doesn't the wind and view relax you somehow?"

"Yeah." Makoto replied as he stared at the night sky. Now that he looked around, all the young people seems to be paired up, talking on benches, looking through the binoculars together. Admittedly, he started to feel a little awkward being with just Cel in this place. Yet she was the one who brought him there.

Could it be...?

"Everything looks peaceful from up high." Makoto smiles at his companion. "Maybe I should visit this place a lot more often now."

"You know, I'm a bit surprised you don't come here seeing as how you're a writer."

"Horror writer." Makoto corrects her.

"Same. Don't you normally go to parks or the countryside to look for inspiration or something? Your "muse" as you call it?"

"It depends. Sometimes, you have it. Often you don't. The places we go to depends on what we're writing of course. For me, staying on the third floor waiting area or one of the vacant rooms in the sixth floor of the dorm does the trick." Makoto refers to the notorious areas of their dorm.

"You won't get any complaints from me."

"Otherwise, I'm more of a Castle Waterside guy myself." Makoto refers to the tourist area near the harbor where the live jazz concert attended by Aziz and the others just concluded.

"I thought you're more Stephen King than John Green." Cel teases him again.

"I am. And John Green's stories aren't really that romance-centric all the time." Makoto explained. "But why would you think that though? I usually go to Waterside for the ocean view since some of the best stories I've read normally involve the ocean."

"Wait, you hang out at Waterside? Alone? Right near where Castle Bay is?" Cel asks, trying hard not to laugh.

"Well I have some friends over sometimes but--hey, what's so funny about it? What's with Waterside anyway?" Try as he might to act a lot more calmer, Makoto felt a little irritated at Cel laughing at him. Luckily, she managed to compose herself.

"You do know Castle Bay's dubbed the most romantic spot in the city right? If you go there alone well--"

Realizing that, even Makoto just laughed--the thought of other people thinking him to be some kind of loser hanging out there alone coming off hilariously to him.

"Hey, that's a bit too judgemental. Maybe I'm just waiting for someone else to come." He tried to catch himself. "Besides, I must've heard wrong then. Didn't realize the bay had that kind of reputation." Makoto peers over the railing again. "If it's first, then what's the second best?"

Cel's lips just curved into a small smile as she looked through the binoculars again. "This place."

Hearing that from her, Makoto slowly got up to look at her. Without taking her eyes from the binoculars, Cel reached out a hand to take his. His heart nearly skipped a beat at this gesture. Slowly, he closes his eyes, taking in that fleeting fifteen seconds of time.

So this red-haired guy was Madoka Ikeda huh? Hotaru still hasn't lost her habit of hugging people, Misaka observed, though she spoke up quickly after Hotaru mentioned her talent.

"I-I'm not that talented...Dou-kun's a lot more talented than I am."

The guy seemed pretty stoic but somewhat- and Misaka, honest to god was being very generous with what she was thinking- friendly. His first question was immediately about Seven Stars- which was pretty normal. Seven Stars did draw a lot of attention from the City.

"It's-- not that different from a normal high school, actually."

She laughed a bit awkwardly.

"The scouting system's pretty odd but you can still get in through entrance exams and scholarships. Scouted students also have to pass the talent aptitude test so that they can get into the Star Section. And about the Star Section-- well, I can't really say. I was Reserve."

She rubbed her neck.

"But all in all, it's just pretty much like a normal high school. We get normal curriculum, and the only thing that stands out are the events I guess. Prom, and the best part of Seven Stars are the Battle of the Bands."

As Hayato finished as well, Kazenari immediately brought up the idea of a third party. Right now the Hounds were still honing in on Enigma, but-- that idea wasn't that far-fetched now that he was thinking of it. Maybe someone who just wanted to mess with the gangs, or someone with a sick sense of humor to toss their dead bodies into Westside territory.

Either way, that news wouldn't sit well with his gang anyway. He raised an eyebrow.

"I'm all ears. Do you happen to have any suspects in mind?"

The Sagittarius - 6:20 PM

"Not yet. I don't have any concrete evidence so I can't exactly point any fingers at anyone." Kazenari admits though she nonetheless kept her calm. "However, while this little investigation is underway, I would like no further incidents to occur. After all, this is the only time where two people were killed simultaneously. Almost everyone's in a panic."

Kazenari looks around to see that no one's eavesdropping on them before she continued. "I would like to ask of your group's help. As the Student Council, our powers only work within the perimeter of the school. However, you are capable of operating beyond it."

???? - 7:00 PM

Kazuya almost often chose to walk instead of taking public transportation since he felt that doing so would let him memorize the place a lot faster. However, due to his easily distracted nature, he tends to get turned around several times once something catches his eye.

It was a harmless thing. Once again, he spotted what appeared to be an acquiantance booking out of the street and into the alley so he followed them along until...

"While not all who wander around are lost--" Kazuya looked around him. Unfamiliar establishments, shady looking people, uninterested passerby and a shifty red air that seems to permeate all around the place. "I sure am right now..."

Sighing, he tried looking for the same hole he crawled out of but failed miserably. Most of the alleys he's seen had people hanging out whereas the one he came out of was, as he recalled, empty and quiet.

"Man! I wonder if I push through with the plan tomorrow?" Kazuya wondered out loud while walking, not giving much thought to the other people around him. Realizing he had no choice but to call for help, he took out his phone and called up the only one whom he knew can aid him right now.

"Uhh...hey dad? Long story short--I have no idea where I am right now!" Kazuya practically yelled at the speaker. "Oh and uhh...I've got this event planned in mind so do you think you can talk to the--huh? You will? Great! Thanks dad! Now about where to pick me u--huh?" Kazuya wondered why the line suddenly went dead. As he brought the phone away from his ear, he was greeted by the sight of his battery running low.

"AAARRGHHH!!!"

Blue Lotus - 7:00 PM

"Hey everyone--huh? Where's everybody?" Aziz wondered as he was greeted by an almost empty lobby upon arrival. Only Ritsuka was at the desk, watching a rerun of a recently finished volleyball game.

"Cel and Itsuna went out. Oh, Arai and Arakaki did too. The others are probably just in their rooms. Especially your fellow schoolmates."

"Huh? Why's that?" Aziz wondered.

"Huh? Hey, you study there so you should know!"

"Well yeah but I went to Wakaba-san's wake remember? I mean, the only part I heard was that bit about classes being cancelled tomorrow but I don't know why." Aziz explained.

"Ah yeah right, I forgot. Well--" Ritsuka looked around the place. "I don't think I should be the one telling you. Just ask any one of them. I think Kujo-kun's back too."

Room 507 - 7:05 PM

"Yo! Mind telling me what happened earlier?" Aziz asked as soon as he entered the room. "All I heard was that we ain't having any classes tomorrow but for why, I don't know."

"Video games?"

Misaka's eyes lit up almost immediately. She hadn't really gotten around to playing video games in earnest due to all of the new things she was going through now that she was in the dorm, and taking a quick look over at their room door, it seemed like her roommate and her friend wasn't coming out yet.

But if it was with Hotaru, she at least only needed one new person to deal with. It would be just like getting along with their band for the first time.

With that thought in mind, she nodded excitedly.

"What game are we playing?"

"That's true..."

Hayato nodded quietly. This was the only lead they had, and if they at least managed to do something for Kurogane, there was a chance to regain territorial advantage over Enigma.

And now that everyone was in a panic, it would be easier to get the Hounds to cooperate. At least, that's what he hoped for.

After a moment of thought, he gave a slow nod.

"Alright. Westside will help out. Is there something in particular that you need us to do?"

"Oh? Welcome back Bro!"

Kujo looked up from the newspaper in his hands the moment Aziz stepped in. So classes were cancelled tomorrow...that freed up his time a little. He had been steaming way too much to even hear the announcement.

"Yeah...well, a lot happened. For one--"

His blood boiled a little at the memory of Morikawa's sudden appearance and Arai's annoying scoldings, but he took a deep breath to calm himself.

"The Hounds are sticking their nose into this whole sudden murder business. Morikawa came around earlier, and though I'm not completely sure what happened, the Student Council Prez dealt with him. And as for the other thing that happened..."

He lowered his voice while speaking.

"There was another death. Tatara Isuko was pushed off of the building at a high floor. Tch! Some bastards were claiming it was suicide, but that girl Ichinose was her classmate and she was saying that Isuko was in perfect condition even before this happened. Nobody saw it coming."

Room 507 - 7:15 PM

"Wha-What?" Aziz found himself unable to fully believe what he was hearing. To think another death would occur so soon just after the incident with Wakaba. It truly was spiraling out of control fast. He didn't make much of the supposed gang visit though as he had never been involved with those matters directly but, he did take note of it lest it becomes important later on.

"Man, I guess that's why school's out for tomorrow. Ah, I should message the others--" Aziz suddenly remembered and immediately messaged Nagisa, Hotaru and Makoto. "Crap! I don't have Arai-san's number. Oh well, she's Student Council so she may already know this."

For a little while, the room was rather quiet as Aziz went through the motions of changing his clothes and tidying up. He thought about the events that transpired as he showered, thinking up of something he could do to help catch this killer. The police still haven't seem to catch on to them and he was beginning to worry.

"Hey Bro?" Aziz asked as he stepped out of the shower. "I've been thinking...this guy managed to do all this under our noses for who knows how long now. I'm kind of wondering how most people seemed to have overlooked him."

The Sagittarius - 6:30 PM

Kazenari managed a small smile as Hayato agreed to cooperate with them. "Thank you. To be honest, I was quite worried you'll turn it down."

He asked what he and the gang should do in particular; something which Kazenari had already been pondering for quite some time. "As you know, there are certain areas near the perimeter of the school which we cannot patrol or look after for obvious reasons." Kazenari shows Hayato a map of Kurogane's immediate perimeter as well as markers as to where the dead girls' bodies were found.

"Going through the victims in chronological order, the killer seems to be moving away from the school. This incident with Tatara-san's probably an irregularity given that she was killed inside. Aside from her, no one else was. As you can see, the immediate streets around Kurogane are mostly small-scale stores and dormitories. Beyond that are private residential areas. This is where our monitoring powers end."

Kazenari takes out a pen and marks a couple more spots on the map. "I was hoping to increase the concentration of people in these areas in order to ward off any suspicious people walking about. I don't have the means to move that number so I was hoping you'll help me out with this. All you have to do is to distribute around five or four people per area. I don't think it'll be too hard."
