Mason is considered an attractive young man at a glance, perhaps aiding or hindering his appearance is how brooding, dark and mysterious he can be. He's solid in build, more solid than his general attire allows to show. His blue eyes are vibrant features against his other facial features, a resting pouted lip and dark brooding brows, chiseled jaw and cheekbones.

D e a t hxT o u c hx // x As the title suggests, it is the ability to "induce" someone with death. Mason has harnessed this ability with Hades in his time in the Underworld so not only can he finally control it, he can carry out a slow death or make it quick and painless. Mason has also obtained the ability to kill/cause rapid decay to man made structures and other living organisms (plants). However, this favorite ability of his proves ineffective against demigods and gods though it doesn't stop him from training and trying.
N e c r o m a n c yx // x The children of Hades can talk to the dead and revive them. Unless the top dog has them in his clutches. And not always will they come back as themselves entirely.
D e a t hxS e n s ex // x The ability to sense how and when others will die.
D a r k n e s sxM a n i p u l a t i o nx // x The ability to create, shape and manipulate darkness and shadows.
G e o k i n e s i sx // x Mason can control the earth and ground to a degree. Mostly for destructive purposes.

P R O F I C I E N C I E S

M a n i p u l a t i o nx // x Mason does know how to pull a certain string or two. And, yes, play charming.
E n d u r a n c ex // x It's easy to go through the stream of bad luck and deaths he has and crumble, but not Mason. No, he can endure mental and physical torture now thanks to dad.
P o w e r sx // x Mason's year in the Underworld has taught him mastery of his powers.

W E A K N E S S E S

T o l e r a n c ex // x The Valis' are like constant triggers. Even when one of them open their mouths, he wants to lunge.
L o v e dxO n e s // x Because Mason has limited amount of loved ones, they're easy to identify and use against him. He may be able to make people drop dead but saving them is a whole lot harder.
I n t i m a c y x // x Mason has a tough time trusting people, letting his guard down and getting close to them.

F E A R S

F a t ex // x Not much scares Mason, but his foresight of death and tampering with fate and the future, does. He doesn't know how cold he could be to watch a friend die or how stupid he could be to change it.
H a d e s x // x The God of the Underworld is cunning and ambitious, and always unpredictable. Mason doesn't really know if there's such thing as "Hades good side."

For a child of Hades, Mason is surprisingly well presented and seems to attract all the unwanted attention he doesn't seek. He suspects it's a: "this man is a mission", or "mysterious", mind set that lures others towards the dark being of Mason. His time in the Underworld has helped him grasp the importance of manipulation and patience again and reminded him how good he can be at it. So, though he can be civil around attention and interaction, in truth, he'd much rather keep to himself and his solitude, practicing until perfection of Hades is conquered. Not to say there aren't the interesting few that genuinely grab his attention. But blunt and dismissive is usually his approach in the social scene and he doesn't spare feelings. There is little room for regret, guilt and even warmth in his heart with all the losses he has suffered. It seems a trend that those he gets close to die or favor Zeus's children.

One thing to be crystal clear is that while Mason may have rare but redeeming qualities is he's not the good guy. He looks out for himself above all as he believes he is truly alone, and the only person he can depend on is himself. The people he has left that he loves, he defends and looks out for fiercely, just not above himself as he doesn't fully trust people. He walks around and interacts with a natural wall present.

To sum up, Mason is most dangerous when he's got a goal in mind. His intentions remain his own. He lets nothing stand in his path and does whatever it takes to get there. It's often undersold how ambitious he can be.

Mason grew up as a bomb just waiting to destroy everything in his path. His mother didn't try to conceal who his father was, what his heritage was. She was always upfront and honest but was never concerned for what dark trail he might walk. Hades too had no problem showing himself off and taking him to the Underworld when he felt like it, feigning interest in how his day has been, what happened at school, all to see if Mason could be the prodigy he wanted and embrace his powers. So an innocent boy turned into a teen with an ego, powers of the God coursing through his veins; a little dark and a little mysterious and handsome. He lapped up the attention though he could be cold and dismissive to people that didn't interest him. That cold nature amplified due to many losses of anyone he grew a warm heart for. Eventually, he decided three separate occasions were enough to quit trying to appease others or play into humanity.
The first instance was when he touched his girlfriend, leaning in for a tender kiss, and what was meant to be an affectionate act when his lips met hers, turned out the coldest act, as his first kill. From there started a spiral of emotions and the haunting memory that he couldn't recover from. His mother tried to shake him out of his depression, playing the best comfort and support she could and get him back on his feet. Just as he started to take her words in and let the tragedy fade to the background, and trust himself again, he wrapped his mother up in a hug in appreciation for her efforts and tolerance only for her to die in his arms.
The third was deliberate. Cold and deliberate with little regret. He still had his sister, Rebecca, but after her boyfriend impregnated her with a child, he decided to cheat. After all the innocents Mason had taken, and girls he were fond of, he decided to do his own justice. Why should they die and he live? So with a grip on his upper arm and mock friendly smile, Rebecca's boyfriend drew his last breaths.

Hades expressed pride and comfort in one and it tightened their bond. So much so that Mason let Hades persuade him to attending a special camp with his older sister, Jennova. He had always stuck to the shadows, practiced his "dark powers" while Zeus's child absorbed the light, but Jennova was his sanity. His only means of company, acceptance and slither of humanity and blood and assurance. She was a reminder he wasn't damned and he was never alone. That there was someone out there that fully understood what he was going through. Then came another one of Zeus's self-righteous children and she decided to execute Jennova. Behead her in fact while Mason was tracking an older-demigod for the war. Mason didn't need more reason to be so hateful and cold but Alex gave him that. Mason responded by trying to claim Alex's life, slowly, but too many do-gooders were around to get the job done.

Seemingly at the worst time, after the war and death of a friend, Hades called upon Mason to join him in the Underworld. Take refuge and power, learn the chores of ruling the Underworld. Mason knew it was the best place for him to be so abandoned the camp and its dramas. In the Underworld Hades spent his time rewiring Mason to forget about worrying how the people above were doing and reinforced to prioritize himself. Hades taught him to be cold at the core and put on a show for others, but never lie, simply debrief. Hades taught him the wonders and great potential of his abilities. Taught him to kill mercilessly and look the poor soul in the eyes as Mason passed them to the Underworld.

Jennova Ambers | Half-Sister | Deceased: Jenn and he had first met in the Underworld, and though she had introduced herself as his sister, it had no meaning as he was too invested in his toy trucks. As he developed however and she became a more frequent face, he trusted her. They started having confessions of their lives and agreed Hades was somebody that set them on edge but they felt safe around at the same time. When Hades proposed he attend Camp Athens, Jenn was there with a winning smile and he stupidly agreed. At Camp, Jenn helped him hone in his death touch so no more accidents would occur. She would also occasionally drag him out of his cabin to be more active with his peers. She blended into the social scenes easily. She was just extroverted and daring enough, and she was an aspiring vibrant woman with a life ahead of her. She didn't let her heritage or experiences cripple her and she became a little beacon to Mason without him knowing it. Alex killing her took that away. It seems like there's only darkness left.

Mandy Hughson | Mother | Deceased: She was the good maternal woman and she wasn't scared of Mason or his future or his father. But she was never afraid of the truth either and she never hid it from Mason, that he was the child of Hades. She won his respect continuously. Mason loved her dearly, though he didn't like showing it for a number of reasons. She had an overwhelming confidence in him, if not a little too much, that he would pave his own path for the better. How wrong he proved her... He misses her but he tries not to dwell.

Rebecca Hughson | Half-Sister | Alive:These two share a stiff relationship since her boyfriend's passing. Though, it's illogical to point the finger at Mason, because people drop dead all the time, Rebecca seems skeptical and cautious around him. He, however, is happy in acting causal and moving on from the past, and he can see that she forgets it sometimes too. Especially when he's playing with Jacob. Besides, it's important to Mason that the rest of his loved ones live good lives and have in-tact relationships.

Jacob Hughson | Nephew | 1yr and 8 months | Alive: Little Jacob would be the only source and indication of guilt Mason experiences. Because of him, Jacob is fatherless. Because of him, Mandy didn't get to meet him and become a grandma, and Rebecca lives a restless and stressful life trying to look after him alone. However, it is one of Mason's most mellow relationships and he is in complete love with Jacob. Even if he hasn't seen him in a year.

Stephanie Philips | Ex-Girlfriend | Deceased: He was a different person with her. He was absolutely love struck and devoted to his queen bee, head-over-heels, and how he would have loved to change her last name to Hughson. She was able to light up his world, make his heart race and bring out the best in him.
At the same time, there was nobody more accepting of his flaws and able to turn his cold heart to moosh or mood to happy. She wasn't a demigod, merely mortal, but she held powers over him. He only wished he could tell her the truth about his heritage. It seemed like he'd always been psyching himself up to do it but was too late. Mason has tried to bring her back but it hasn't worked for him; Hades has claimed her soul.

Image Alex had never been to one single party before she came to Camp Athens. Their mother never allowed her to leave the house. Last years had been a blast, but this year was going to be different. Alex sat quietly as her brother took the chair across from her. "Are you okay?" He watched her as she managed to turn her attention to him. "..don't tell me it's nothing. When some of the campers left for the year, others stayed here. You didn't. You left me. Where did you go?"

Alex shook her head. "I'm fine. This isn't about when I left. Then, I just needed to be by myself."

"You know it's dangerous out there. Especially by yourself. Has Mason said something to you again? is that why you left?"
"No."
"Okay, so what's wrong now? Did someone else say something to you?"
"No!" she snapped.
"Al..."
Image "Just leave it alone, okay? Don't ask me any more questions." she stood up angrily. "Please." she added. It wasn't like her to shut him off without talking to him. He nodded once, his eyes looking down as he did. She gave him a glare before walking silently passed him. Maybe she shouldn't have come back to camp this year since everyone already thought she was a murderer. No one would possibly miss her, would they? Everything in her life had already turned upside down because of a stupid feud between two Gods. They just couldn't let things stay in the past.

Image He looked up, watching her head into her room. Hopefully, the party would make her feel better. Being around Duke and Wes always brought a smile to her face. Especially Duke. Oh, Ajax had noticed the way his little sister looked at his best friend. Was she acting like this because of him? Duke had recently found out about his little sister, and Alex had seen them together a couple of times without knowing who she is. Was she jealous? the corners of Ajax's lips began to lift upwards, forming a large smile as he looked away and hung his head. Laughing. He had never known her to be jealous, not even once, or she just managed to hide it well. Daniel had a new girl around him before he passed, but Alex didn't seem to batter an eye. He could go in there and tell her about Duke's sister, but maybe it would be way more entertaining for her to find out from Duke himself.

Ajax headed out the second he was dressed, but first grabbing his rucksack which sat near the front door. He decided to wear something casual: Party Outfit. As promised, he arrived a bit early with the music he had downloaded the night before on his computer. It was all taking place down near the beach again where a large campfire was sitting in the middle ready to be lit. Around it at a good safe distance sat four large log benches for everyone to chill out around the flames. The staff members were the ones hosting it all, so they were cooking on the BBQ tonight. They had containers filled with ice where the beer bottles chilled, and quite the buffet on a long table so people could help themselves to sandwiches, pizza, sausage rolls and every other party food displayed. The BBQ would be serving burgers and hot dogs with or without onions. A large variety for everyone to say the least.

ImageMason wasn't dragged to the fire but came on his own accord. Which he soon forgot the reason to and started to regret, standing on his lonesome with a bottle of beer, holding it around the neck. He shook his head to himself and took a big swig. Now was that too late / too soon hour, where others congregated and weren't blind enough to let him creep away. It was the hour if someone saw his retreating figure slink into the shadows, they'd talk him out of leaving and staying 'just a little while longer.'

Still, he convinced himself there were a lot of interesting fresh bloods on camp to take note of and see a few more shades to. Hell, maybe Alex would get stupid drunk and trip into the fire. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad. However, there was that missing jigsaw piece that Mason couldn't pin immediately until he peered at the faces around the fire. It wasn't disappointment and disgust as he normally held towards these sort of social mingly events but a pinch of sorrow. Daniel.

This was his first party back at Camp and Daniel had always been one of the faces to accompany them. One of those faces that took control of the tunes and implanted the everybody dance and drink or leave rule. Mason took a few paces away from the fire light and music, coming to stand near the shore line as a shadowed figure. He hadn't even visited Jenn today. Mason shoved his bottle in his arm while he lit a cigarette. The staff could bite him if they had an issue. He inhaled and puffed a cloud of smoke out.Mason was more out of place than ever this year. In fact he was surprised there wasn't an assassination attempt on his life yet.

He wasn't bothered by heat but the human part of him still produced sweat. He wiped his forehead with his arm after slaving over his forge for however many hours. Duke glanced up from his work to be met with the eyes of the clock, indicating it was now evening. Even more importantly, dinner time.

ImageDuke looked down to his current wear, ash had stuck to his skin, coating his arms in black and he was sweating far more than he knew. So he probably couldn't wear his grey muscle top to the fire tonight. He probably couldn't wear anything without a washing up. Duke made an essential detour to the shower until he felt refreshed enough to step out and get changed into his outfit.

Duke didn't know how he found it in himself to keep re-attending Camp Athens parties. Perhaps it had grown on him like a sort of tradition since nobody ever gave it a miss. Maybe it was more duty to keep the peace. Duke was seconds away from giving himself a pep talk in the mirror to be a role model and how to behave tonight but thankfully he stopped himself. Instead he did what real men do and just walked to the party on the beach.

Once there he was received by decent music, food and drink. Duke grabbed himself a plastic plate and moved along the table, picking up different meats and minimal salad. Duke took a seat on the log acting as benches and dug into the food before it got ruined by any number of extraneous variables.

Andy stood in front of her mirror, her fingers running over the field of purple and blue that plagued the left side of her ribcage. She sighed. Scrapes bruises and whatever else covered a majority her body from the neck down. She tested their tenderness with her fingertips, wincing slightly at the pressure on her side.

Andy had been spending all her time since the war breathing, eating and sleeping her training. It kept her mind busy, and focused. Regardless if they won the war, that couldn't be the end. Demigods always had a target on their heads, and she refused to have anyone taken from her like her brother was. But the training wasn't all beneficial... She was almost constantly covered in scrapes and bruises, and it was beginning to take a toll on her.

She rested her hands on the edge of the sink with a sigh. She wasn't wanting to go to this party, it wouldn't be the same. But, if she didn't go, she knew Trinity or Ajax would be at her door in no time. Andy's gaze drifted over her bruises once again before walking over to her closet. It took her nearly half of her wardrobe before finding an outfit that covered the purple marks on her skin perfectly.

Andy started to make her way out of her cabin, stopping in the doorway when she realized she forgot something. She hurried back inside, grabbing her locket. She put it over her head as she walked her way through the woods towards the bonfire. As she neared the sounds of music, seeing the warm glow between the tree, her gaze drifted to the beach where she saw a figure lingering away from the party that had barely started.

Instead of walking towards the party, she instead walked towards the beach. As Andy got closer, she noticed it was Mason. She stopped a few feet behind him, crossing her arms over her chest as she saw him light up. "If you die from lung cancer... I'll find a way into the underworld and kick your ass myself." She slowly stepped closer, crouching down behind him. Her hands moving to rest on his shoulders. She sighed softly, resting her chin on the top of his head. "They know we miss them, Mason."

Andy leaned forward, wrapping her arms around him in a gentle hug. "Plus, if they saw us being party poopers... They'll come back from the dead to drag us to the party themselves." She smiled softly, then quickly snagged away his cigarette and chucked it into the water. "Oops," she laughed before standing up. Andy then moved in front of him, holding out her hand. "Come on."

Wes took the empty right sleeve of his shirt and sweater, stuffing it inside the torso of his shirt. There isn't many ways to wear an empty sleeve of a shirt. Leave it dangling looks weird, so that's not an option. Knot the end... Or tuck it in. That's what he went with. He knew some of the new campers still start at him like he's fragile. Might as well just have it right in their face that he's only got one arm.

After wrapping a scarf around his neck and putting on a beanie, Wes checked his appearance in the mirror one last time. He looked alright, that was good enough. He contemplated a leather jacket, but he hasn't had the heart to cut off the right sleeves just yet. It's too soon, and his jackets are good leather. He adjusted his beanie and scarf over and over. Wes couldn't put a finger on why the party made him nervous. He'd been to multiple since he came to camp. It had nothing to with his arm, or the new campers.

Wes sighed, smiling at his own stupidity. It was Trinity. It always was Trinity. He pursed his lips, heading out of his cabin before he second guessed his appearance again. His left hand was tucked in his jean pocket as she trudged his way through the trees. Before he realized it, he wasn't at the party but at the bottom of the stairs leading up to Trinity's cabin. He thought about leaving. But what if she saw him? He could just run into her at the party... Or, just walk there with her.

He probably pivoted back and forth like four times before forcing himself to walk up the steps. Wes knocked on the door. "Hey Trin, how about escorting a one-armed loser to a party? For old times sake." He leaned against the door frame, waiting patiently.

Sloane sat in the window seat, turning the page in her book to a new chapter. It was then that she heard the door to her cabin open without a knock. She sighed, knowing full well that it was Sylas and his lack for personal space. Instead of getting up to meet him or anything else, she kept her gaze on her book. She's much rather continue to read about the Trojan War rather than deal with her brother.

"Why won't you just stay in a cabin with me?" Sylas asked, propping himself in her doorway.

Sloane sighed, turning the page but not even sparing him a look. "Because we're not five."

Sylas sighed, slipping his hands into the pockets of his pants. "You going to this party..."

"Is that a question or a demand?" Sloane closed her book, holding her place with her index finger.

"Does it matter?" He stared at her, waiting for an answer. Sylas tapped his knuckles against the wall.

Sloane sighed, patting her book against her lap. "No."

Sylas walked over to Sloane, taking the book from her lap. He looked over the cover with a scoff, tossing it backwards onto her bed. "We've been here how long? And you've done nothing." Sloane pursed her lips, crossing her arms over her lap finally looking towards her brother.

"You're going." Sylas reaches his hand out, brushing away a loose lock of hair. "I have some prospects that need your... special touch. So, I will see you there." He leans forward, pressing his lips to Sloane's forehead. "Wear something nice. You need to turn heads." With that, Sylas stood up and made his way out of her cabin.

He strutted his way down the paths towards the beach. Sylas was in no particular hurry, instead watching the other campers run and scurry around him towards the party. He watched them all intently, taking in their emotions, making a list. Who was worth his time, who wasn't... The camp was like his own little toy box with so many things at his disposal, it was hard for him to choose want to pursue first. A party is the best place to start slowly extending his tendrils out, testing the waters and starting his work... Especially with Sloane there.

Sylas finally reached the beach, looking around at the small group of campers that have already began congregating around the bonfire. Not many, but he was early. He made his way over to the food and drinks, grabbing himself a beer. He popped it open, taking a drink as he watched others arrive. This was going to be fun.

Image

Sloane paced around her room for the better part of ten minutes trying to decide if it was really worth the effort, going to this dumb party. She wasn't a partier by any means. And honestly, a party was the last place she wanted to be. But if she knew Sylas, and she did, he'd show up at her door the second he realized she wasn't going there. Which would only make her life more complicated than trying to be invisible around a bunch of immature demigods.

She pinched the bridge of her nose, with a sigh. Sloane threw open the doors to her closet, fingering through her clothes. Wear something nice. She scoffed to herself, pulling out the first outfit she found. It didn't take her long to get dressed, hoping that what she was wearing would help be ignored rather than draw attention to herself. Before leaving her cabin, she grabbed her book from her bed, sighing when she noticed that Sylas folded some of the pages. She cursed under her breath, slipping it into her bag.

Sloane, checked her reflection one last time before heading out her front door and down the steps. She adjusted her bag on her shoulder as she walked slowly towards the beach. She was in no rush to get there, and wouldn't mind if it took her the whole night to walk there. So, instead of rushing to please her brother, she pulled out her book, picking up where she left off, reading while she walked.

Theo stared at himself in the mirror for a moment, letting the events of the past several months roll through his mind. A year ago he was a nomad without a purpose who just so happened to be extra ordinary thanks to his godly parentage. Things had certainly changed. Now, he was a trained warrior, survivor, and most recently a big brother. When Ajax told him that another Artemis child was coming to camp, Theo pressed him for more information. It didn't take him long to hunt Emery down. He introduced himself as her brother, and, after a period of initial skepticism and shock, the two became close very quickly. Having blood to protect change Theo's outlook on things. Camp Athens was now his home. His friends and purpose were already there. Those bonds had only strengthened post war as Theo popped in and out of camp in its offseason. Now his family was at camp too. Theo smiled as he thought about finally finding somewhere that he belonged.

He turned on his heels to leave his bathroom, and walked and approached his closet with an outfit already in mind. Theo was excited for the party as he knew how great a Camp Athens party could get. He thought it would be a good way to knock down some of the walls between the old guard and the litany of new campers. Theo had gone out of his way to befriend a few already. He had budding friendships with people like Dimitri, Nik, and Sylas. Then there was the Poseidon daughter that he had yet to talk to. Her and Emmy had made fast friends, and Theo was intent on introducing himself at the party. Theo wore a light grey shirt, a denim button up, with blue jeans, old tennis shoes, and a hat. He had come to like hats more and more recently, mostly because he had gotten so lazy in fixing his hair.

Before exiting his cabin he grabbed his North Face backpack and two bottles of his favorite liquor, Fireball whiskey. He stuffed them in the bag along with several plastic shot glasses. Theo knew one could never be over prepared for a party. He started his descent down the hill through the forest, only stopping outside Emmy's cabin to give her a loud whistle and a quick "Let's go! I'll see you down there. Shots on me!" Theo laughed as he kept on his way, unsure if offering his younger sister shots at a party full of young male demigods with over confidence syndrome was the most brotherly idea. He knew Emmy could handle herself though. Still, he would have to keep an eye on her and make sure she didn't drink too much.

Theo arrived at the party fairly early. There were only a handful of people there. He surveyed the group, noticing Mason and Andy off in the distance by the shore. He never had been able to figure out Andy's soft spot for Mason. Honestly, Theo just wasn't a big fan. He smiled and waved as he trotted past a group of new campers that included Nik and the pretty redheaded daughter of Poseidon. Theo made a mental note to make his way back over there later. Wes, Trinity, and Alex. Theo figured they were all probably together. Finally, he made his way over to Ajax who was standing by the tables of food taking in the first sparks of the party. Theo approached with a smirk on his face. Him and Ajax had gotten closer since the war, and he knew they had a mutual trust. "You good bro?" Theo cocked his head sideways with a half playful half serious look. "Looks to me like you need a shot," he said as he laughed while pulling his backpack off of his shoulder and reaching for the contents inside.

ImageHis reflection and solitude was interrupted by a familiar voice. "If you die from lung cancer... I'll find a way into the underworld and kick your ass myself."
Mason grinned to himself but kept his gaze ahead. "It's only occasional," he reasoned.
He tapped the ash away before she held his shoulders gently and rested her chin on his head. "They know we miss them, Mason."
He hoped so but that didn't bring them back. Rather than share a comment or speak unkindly to his friend, he chose to sit in silence. Andy's arms wrapped around him in a gentle hug and he didn't feel so terribly alone. He held her arm gently "Plus, if they saw us being party poopers... They'll come back from the dead to drag us to the party themselves."
Mason smiled a little. Probably. But the word didn't come out. The next thing he knew, his cigarette was snatched from his hand and thrown into the water. His fingers were paused in shape, eyes glued on the washed up cig before he scoffed.
"Oops." She giggled. Andy moved in front of him and offered her hand. "Come on."
He stared at her for some time then took her hand and found his feet. "You know, you're lucky I like you. And if any environmentalist tries to have a go why there's a cigarette in the water, I'm throwing you under the bus."

He dragged his feet towards the bonfire with Andy. Technically he was in party territory just not right in the the bonfire's light, but no, Andy couldn't accept that. "I was here earlier than you, on the beach, everyone's seen my face or back at least, doesn't that count as attendance?" he tried.

Once in fire light, a smirk crept across his lips. "What game is it going to be tonight?" he asked lowly to his friend. "Another truth or dare? Spin the bottle?" he speculated with mock excitement, shimming his shoulders a little like a giddy boy and the grin to go along with it. His mock expression couldn't even last when he laid eyes on Ajax accompanied by Theo and Emery. Mason pursed his lips. Andy didn't need permission but in case there was some kind of obligation she felt to him he bumped his shoulder into her lightly. "I'll behave and stay right here," he promised, "you know, if you want to be a real girl and talk and socialize."

Once Alex had arrived, the party was looking so much better than she thought it would. Everyone had arrived - new, and old. It's always nice to have new faces. Everywhere she looked there were people talking, laughing, or just those enjoying the warmness from the fire as they tucked into some delicious looking hot dogs with cooked onions almost spilling over the sides of the warm bun. As nice as it looked, Alex wasn't hungry.

She could see her brother with Theo, and then a girl she hadn't seen before. Was that Theo's sister?

Alex made her way over to them, catching Emery's words about Theo owing her a drink. "You can get me one too, Thee." she winked at him whilst taking a seat by her brother for the time being, then smiled towards Emery while leaning her arms flat on the bar they were surrounding. She glanced over her shoulder and caught sight of Duke sitting with one of the new girls. Immediately questions about it popped into her head. Did he like her? did she like him? who was her Godly parent? Alex quickly looked away. It was none of her business anyway since she and Duke weren't dating.

But the thought of him being with anyone really got to her. Still, she couldn't stop him even if she wanted to.

Ajax handed Alex a glass, then poured some of his beer into it for her, just to keep her happy until Theo got the drinks in for the two girls. "Just don't get too drunk." Ajax whispered as he leaned in towards her slightly, making sure that she heard him. Alex nodded.

Getting drunk was fun, but to the point of not knowing your own name was just pointless. What was the point in having a night out if you don't remember it the next day? just seems like a waste of time.

Once Theo had the shots, Ajax took the drink and knocked it back like water, but he didn't realize how strong it was until it hit the back of his throat, causing him to choke a little. He smiled as he held it down, raising his cup to Theo as thanks. "Cheers." he coughed once more and laughed.

Ajax smiled to Emery as she said his name, giving her a nod to greet her, right before she spoke to Theo about him owing her a drink. Not long after that, his little sister had appeared out of nowhere. She seemed happier now that she was here, and a lot calmer than earlier.

As Ajax grabbed himself another drink, a bottle this time, he looked across to where Mason was with Andy. Ajax knew they had become good friends since last year, but he still felt wary of Mason. Andy had her freedom to be friends with whoever she wanted, even if that was with people Ajax didn't like so much. He couldn't control her.

Ajax turned his attention back to the group, directing his question to Emery. "So.. what do you think of Camp Athens so far? it's okay, you can be honest. If you find it shit? you can tell me." Alex chuckled in the background.
"I honestly didn't like this place at first, I mean... it's a gorgeous place, but, it wasn't home. That changed. Now it feels like home." as Ajax carried on to question Emery, Alex hopped off the stool she had sat on and wandered over to the food table with now beginning to feel hungry. She filled her plate with small triangle sandwiches and some salad for now.

"You know, you're lucky I like you. And if any environmentalist tries to have a go why there's a cigarette in the water, I'm throwing you under the bus."

"Don't think I won't drag you down with me," Andy said, pointing her index finger at him accusingly. She slipped her hands into her pockets as they walked towards the main hub of the party.

"I was here earlier than you, on the beach, everyone's seen my face or back at least, doesn't that count as attendance?"

"Of course it does," Andy mused, playfully bumping her shoulder against Mason's. "But, if I have to struggle through this party... So, do you."

Andy sighed softly as they got closer to the fire, glancing at all the faces familiar and new. Her gaze drifted over towards Mason, witnessing a menacing smirk on his lips. She did a double take before he spoke. "What game is it going to be tonight? Another truth or dare? Spin the bottle?" He then started shimming his shoulders.

Andy laughs, raising her hands to cover her mouth as she watches him. "I think I'm going to stay away from the whole game situation." She didn't know if she could handle another game of truth or dare. Not that it was bad last year. She could do any dare people wanted, but she wasn't feeling the need to be utterly truthful. And spin the bottle isn't a game for someone in a relationship... Not if she wanted to keep it anyways.

It seemed that Mason's whole playful demeanor faded almost instantly. Andy's gaze followed his, which was focused on Ajax. She sighed softly, glancing down at her feet. She wasn't going to say anything. Mason had every reason to hate Ajax, especially Alex. A bump from his shoulder got her attention, causing Andy to look over at him. "I'll behave and stay right here. You know, if you want to be a real girl and talk and socialize."

Andy smiled slightly. "When have I ever been a real girl?" She raised a hand up to scratch her head, before running her fingers through her hair. "But I do need a drink," she said, tapping her nose with her index finger and then pointed towards the drinks. "You should socialize... You might make more friends." She bumped him with her hip before heading towards the bar. "Just don't forget who your best friend is," Andy teased, calling back towards him over her shoulder.

As she walked towards the bar, Andy conjured a shot in her right hand. She downed it as she made her way around the fire. She didn't want to interrupt the conversations, so moved to stand behind Ajax. Andy grabbed herself a beer, popping it open and taking a drink. She overheard Ajax talking to Emery. As he talked to her, Andy made funny faces, playfully mocking him towards Emery while he couldn't see.

Wes quickly pivoted around when he heard someone coming up the porch. “Just for old time's sake I guess. Because you know, I don't actually like your company.” He chuckled, and as he leaned in to kiss her cheek he was met by her shirt. “Does that smell?” Wes held his breath instead of attempting to not cringe at Trinity's sweaty shirt. She then opened the door, waving him into her cabin.

"I don't know... Shoving a ripe sweaty shirt in a guy's face is a quick way to show you don't like his company," Wes teased as he slowly entered her cabin.

“You got your boardies? Board shorts?” she asked him before disappearing back into her room.

Wes looked down at his legs, then back towards her bedroom door. "Didn't know I was going to be thrown into the ocean." He chuckled, tugging at his jeans slightly. "I have boxers on if the need to swim is aroused."

After a moment or two, Trinity came back out and smiled towards him. Wes couldn't help but smile back. She was beautiful just the way she was. Not like how the other girls tried to always look nice, but in her own element. He liked her just the way she was, true authentic Trinity. “Now we can go.”

Wes held the door open for her, before following her down the porch. As they started walking, he draped his left arm over her shoulders. He wasn't in any rush to get to the party. Not that he doesn't like parties but he also liked the time just with Trinity. Call him selfish, but it's true.

“You know, we can make you a non-loser. All you'd have to do is beat me in an arm wrestle.”

"Oh man, Ken Doll has been upgraded to loser." Wes chuckled, lightly bumping his hip against Trinity. "I don't know if the nicknames could get much better than that."

“I remember, you specifically said, 'I'd wrestle with you any day'

Wes sighed softly as he let out a weak laugh. "Pretty sure that was old asshole Wes who said that." He raised his hand a little, playfully flexing it before letting it relax against her shoulder again. "Could you handle all of this? This arm has been doing the work of two arms for quite sometime now. I may not be a fighter, but I do have some muscles."

The music from the party could be heard as they near the beach. He looked down at Trinity, smiling slightly. "I'll make you a deal. I'll arm wrestle you, and if I win... You go on a real official date with me." Wes smiled, nudging her. "And if you win...?

Sloane walked slowly, very slowly towards the beach. Maybe if she was lucky enough, by the time she reached the beach, the party would be over. Most of the other campers were rushing towards the party, bobbing and weaving around her like she was just some tree in their way. That was fine by her. She'd rather be invisible than have them actually try to socialize with her. She turned the page in her book only to have someone bump into the back of her, causing her to drop her book.

Sloane steadied herself so she also didn't fall over. She slowly turned around, glancing over her shoulder towards whomever bumped into her. Domonik Einarsson. She had seen him around, and he was about as social as she is. She was half surprised the guy didn't trip over her. He was tall, very tall. Being as short as she is, someone that tall could hurdle her. Sloane noticed that he was handsome in an unusual way. Like the kind of way most people wouldn't notice, especially because of his parentage... And the fact that he was staring.

She didn't know what to say or do. Sloane brushed a strand of hair behind her ear before leaning down to pick up her book. But, Dom beat her to it, quickly snatching her book up from the ground. He then shoved the book towards her. "erhm here" Her brow raised slightly when his hand brushed hers. His skin icy cold. Not in an uncomfortable or alarming way, but almost in a odd familiar way.

When she looked back up, Dominik was gone, hightailing it towards the beach. Sloane stood there dumfounded. When her gaze fell back down to the book in her hands, she noticed the cover was slightly frozen. She lightly ran the tips of her fingers along the ice. She sighed, adjusting her bag on her shoulder before she continued towards the beach.

As Sloane stepped out from the tree line, she felt the strong urge to immediately turn around and head back to her cabin. Her fingers absent-mindedly chipped away at the ice on the cover of her book as she scanned the crowd of people. She weaved her way between people, looking for somewhere to sit that would opt for minimal human contact. But before she made it out of the crowd, someone snatched her book from her hands.

Sloane went to reach out and take her book back, but froze when she saw it was Sylas. He pursed his lips, looking over the frozen cover. "What happened here?"

She held out her hand. "Give it back."

"Ice?" He turned the book over, studying it. Sylas looked up, scanning the party until his gaze fell to the two Khione kids. His brow quirked as he held the book back out towards her. As Sloane reached out to grab it, Sylas took a step towards her, lowering his voice. "They're powerful. Useful with the right... Leverage." Sloane snatched the book away from him. She went to walk past Sylas, but he stopped her by grabbing her arm. "Take care of that."

Sloane shoved past her brother, holding her book tightly to her chest. She made her way to the edge of the water, stopping a few feet away from the current. She sighed, removing her bag from her shoulder and taking a seat on the soft sand. She reached down, unbuckling her shoes, pulling them off. Her toes wiggled their way into the sand, as she picked off the last bit of ice from her book.

“'Scuse me, Sylas,” Harley said as she moved around him for a drink. After she got her drink, she gave him a silent cheers which Sylas raised his beer in a similar fashion to. He propped himself against the bar, taking a long drink of his beer, watching everyone move about throughout the party. His gaze continually finding its way back to his sister that made no attempt to mingle at all.

Sylas sighed, drinking the remainder of his beer. He never understood his sister's reluctance to do when their mother trained her to do. One thing that their mother told them never to do, was use their abilities against each other. If that wasn't the case, Sylas couldn't guarantee that he wouldn't persuade her. Eventually, she'd realize that its blood first and when that day came, he'd be waiting. Until then, just like he watched others, he also paid equal attention to Sloane.... Just waiting for the right leverage.

His attention was pulled towards the group near the bar when he heard Theo mention thoughts. Sylas smiled, walking over towards him. He patted Theo on the right shoulder. "Hey man, did I hear something about shots?" He nodded his head in greetings towards the others standing by the bar.

Sylas stood there quietly, listening as Ajax asked Emery about her thoughts in regards to camp. Home? hilarious. He'd feel more at home in a broom closet than at camp. But he didn't show that on his face, just smiling and nodding his head. He couldn't help but chuckle as he saw Andy teasingly mocking Ajax behind his back.

"You are your mother's daughter and I'm definitely borrowing that outfit sometime." It was a cute outfit, but more on the simple side than Adrianna was used to. She wasn't about to tell Lani that though. Little lies like that weren't uncommon for Audrey, a curse of being one of Hera's children. Well, what Kalania doesn't know won't hurt her.

The two girls held hands as they walked towards the bonfire. It was something the two usually did together. Adrianna never thought of it as something romantic, more of how you'd hold hands with a sibling. Some campers have commented on it, but a glare from her silenced them. It wasn't like Adrianna was annoyed at the thought of being considered homosexual by the campers. The fact that two girls couldn't be friendly without thinking something else was happening was rude. Why do people always make assumptions? Speaking of homosexuals, she noticed Nikolaos had arrived. He's the little brother she had always dreamed about and the two got close within their first week at camp. His sweet yet awkward demeanor was so adorable. While he hadn't acknowledged it himself, Adrianna picked up on his sexuality. Obviously, better than Nik since he didn't even know. Adrianna didn't know how to approach the topic, but knew she'd try her best for him. Adrianna gave him a wave and her best grin.

"Hey! ... Woah, well, you guys look amazing." Cue, another cutest camper! The fact that Nik and Annie were siblings seemed too perfect. They're the kindest people at camp and Adrianna was proud to say she got along with both.
"I wish I could I pull off layers like you can! You look absolutely amazing!~" Yes, Adrianna may have been exageratting, but the girl did look cute. "I thought Lise was coming with you- Ah I see now." The appearance of Lise and Dimitri didn't go unnoticed by Adrianna. Call it a child of the goddess of marriage thing, but she could tell the different between potential couple and two friends. It wasn't really a power, but Adrianna will gladly claim it is. Interesting combination the two of them... One of the biggest personalities at camp with the one with the least personality. Something she'll catalogue for later, or gossip a bit about. Probably both.

The bonfire was getting more and more crowded. Music was playing, food and alcohol being served, and, Adrianna's personal favorite, many attractive people. Adrianna was fine just hanging out with the girls, dancing. However, she wouldn't turn down some TLC from an interesting guy. So far, nobody was worth her attention. She had plenty offers, some more pushy than others. One guy thought bringing her a beer meant she had to dance with him. A quick nod of her head and that guy suddenly decided he needed to eat. Influence is such a great ability. One guy did make her wonder. He sat on the outside of the bonfire, frown on his very attractive face. He looked like a challenge, something Audrey couldn't ignore. "Girls, I'll see you in a bit. I found a challenge, byyyye." With her farewell, Adrianna went towards Mr. Hughson. She was aware of his parentage and the history at the previous camp. Was it potentially dangerous? Absolutely, but she doubted he'd try anything at a crowded party. She quickly grabbed two, cold beers from a cooler before approaching.

"I'm pretty sure parties are for having fun, Mr. Frown." Adrianna teased, holding out the beer to Mason. "Maybe we need to loosen you up." She let a girlish chuckle, battling her eyes.

Draining the bottle he held in his hand, Finley looked over at the partygoers once more, boredom creeping up on him. Gwen and Nik still stood together, chatting away. Finley decided maybe he would approach them, before his eye is caught by someone else.

He didn't recognise her but she stood alone, just out of the way. Her eyes grazing over each person as though she was waiting for something to happen. Swallowing his last sip of beer, Finley takes a deep breath - he wasn't used to approaching other people, in fact, usually Finley liked to steer clear of others.

However, this is a party after all and if he can't be sociable here, where can he. Turning to the drinks table behind him, Finley pops the cap off of two more beers, the cool bottle a comfort against his increasingly sweaty palms. Gods, why was he so nervous.

Sure, she's beautiful, but just the simple fact of approaching someone, anyone, was what caused Finley's stomach to turn. Shaking his head slightly, Finley resolves to do this one thing. If he doesn't talk to anyone else tonight, he will talk to this mysterious girl.

Setting a small smile on his face, in the hopes that he can look friendly, Finley walks the short distance over to where she stood. Still alone, still watching everyone else. Clearing his throat, Finley extends a hand which held one of the beer bottles, "Hey I, um,
" He begans -not the smoothest start - "I got you a beer."

Shit, what was that? He didn't even introduce himself, just shoved a beer on her. What if she doesn't even drink? Oh Gods, this is why he doesn't talk to people, Finley thinks. Mentally, Finley kicks himself but outwardly he doesn't let the smile on his face flinch for a second, his hand still outstretched. Hoping she took the beer so he'd be free to head back to his cabin and never speak to anyone again. This is what happens when Finley, the notorious recluse, tries to make friends. It doesn't go well.

The two girls reached the bonfire in a matter of minutes, fingers still entwined. It was more of a subconscious thing that Kalani did and she certainly never meant it romantically. Just like she might grab Wes' hand to drag him to see something, taking Adrianna's and pulling her along to the bonfire meant nothing more than Kalani was excited and wanted to get there now.

Just a short while after they had arrived, so did Annie, greeting them with a, "Hey! ... Woah, well, you guys look amazing.
" Kalani giggles, sending her a smile in the form of a 'thanks' before grabbing Annie into her arms for a tight hug.

Finally releasing the girl, Kalani steps back to assess Annie's outfit, "You look so lovely!" She beams, excitement bubbling up in her voice. Kalani couldn't be happier, surrounded by her two very best friends at camp. Of course none of them had been there long enough to be actual best friends, but it had been surprising how quickly these three had taken to each other. Kalani had always been good at making friends, and it seems that only a short while after arriving at the camp, she had managed to do just that.

"I thought Lise was coming with you- Ah I see now." Kalani follows Adrianna's gaze to where Lise stood, alongside Dimitri. Oh. Kalani's smile falters for a fraction of a second, before she places it back at full force on her face. "They look cute together." Kalani forces out, catching Lise's eye and sending her a wave as she does so. Shaking off any negative emotion she may be feeling.

The girls chatted and danced along to the soft music drifting throughout the bonfire for a while, until Kalani noticed someone catch Adrianna's eye. Before the girl could tease her about it, the daughter of Hera opens her mouth. "Girls, I'll see you in a bit. I found a challenge, byyyye." Kalani laughs softly and waves her off, watching as Adrianna makes a beeline for Mason. That would be interesting.

Kalani would be content to just sit and watch whatever was about to happen unfold, but instead she turns to Annie, a wry smirk on her face. "Let's play a game," She whispers to the girl before she turns away to face the rest of the partygoers. "Hey, guys," Kalani calls out in an attempt to get all their attention.

She then waltzes over to the drinks table, picking up the bottle Finley had just placed down. "Spin the bottle anyone?" She suggests, her smirk growing into a full fledged mischievous grin. She knew some of the elder students would probably sit this game out, but Kalani couldn't think of a better way to get to know her fellow newbies than by kissing them!

Creating a circle of people just next to the fire, Kalani heads back to Annie and squeezes her hand, "Come play." She whispers, before taking a seat for herself in the circle and placing the bottle down in the middle of the group.

Spying Gwen and Niko standing a couple feet away, Kalani calls out - "Hey you guys, wanna join?" Attempting to get as many people involved as possible. This ought to be an awful lot of fun.

ImageMason watched Andy travel over to Ajax and mock him behind his back. Exactly what a normal girl would do to lightly tease her boyfriend. He'd probably turn around and give her a smooch and it'd be all 'love, love, happy couple, everybody forget I failed as a leader and boyfriend.' Still, it wasn't Mason's business. Just like it wasn't his business to tell the sweet little happy couple they weren't going to last. He didn't need foresight or to be a child of Aphrodite to know that.

The bitter thoughts came to an abrupt end when another female approached. Rather than a fiery blonde, it was an impressively dressed and done up, Adrianna. She was always a looker but tonight, she had bonus points. "I'm pretty sure parties are for having fun, Mr. Frown," had been her way of greeting him, with a peace offering being a beer. Mason took it. "Maybe we need to loosen you up."

"Okay," he began, a smile spreading across his lips, "first off your nickname generating needs work. Second, we really do and alcohol seems a good way to get there." He popped the cap off the bottle but paused before bringing it to his lips. "I mean as long as you're not trying to take advantage of me in a drunk state." Mason smirked at her and took a swig.

"Parties are also about losing inhibitions then having alcohol or that bad friend to blame it on," he added matter-of-factly and shrugged innocently. Mason overheard Kalani's spin the bottle suggestion on cue and laughed. He had called it in the beginning. "Exhibit A."

Mason paid one look to the circle gathering and saw how many awaiting and expecting eyes were on Adrianna. That was the only problem with prom queens like herself, they attracted too much attention. Still, none of them thought to physically approach her with him there. It's not like he could kill demigods with a touch, just their mortal relatives. "I don't think they're gonna start without you." He threw his head towards the circle.

Initially his mind was made on joining such a game. It wouldn't be worth the experience and he wasn't overly keen to kiss anybody and hadn't been in a long time, but somebody had advised him to make friends and people achieved that by taking part in games and activities. Plus, it had been that long maybe he forgot how to kiss and this would be good practice. Mason made his way to the circle and fell in wherever vacancy was. "Suggester spins first, right?" he said towards Kalani. There weren't a great deal many rules in spin the bottle but he was pretty sure that's how it started.

After what happened last year, Alex hadn't gotten the chance to see or speak to her best friend since they all got back, what with all the preparations for the new campers, and still coming to terms with last year. She made a mental note of seeing him soon, then took her drink from Theo. She smiled at him as a thank you.

Hearing Katlani mention Spin the Bottle had brought on a moment of nostalgia, a game she hadn't played since childhood. It made Alex move in towards the group that was slowly gathering for the game. She side glanced at the others. Mason had started to move towards the circle with Adrianna. Of course, he'd team up with Wonder Barbie. He no longer had Jenn or Daniel after all.

Daniel... she missed his lively nature. Camp still felt dead without him. If only she could have gotten the chance to say goodbye, or to at least have given him the time of day before the war. They needed this game, they needed to have fun for once. "I'm in."

Feeling her brother's eyes on her, she looked at him and began to laugh. Andy was behind him. Mocking him.

Of course his little sister wouldn't turn down the opportunity to play Spin the Bottle, especially if there was a chance to get a kiss from Duke. Hearing her laugh, he frowned, "What?" he asked, then turned around the second he felt someone behind him. He had caught Andy mocking him. "You're lucky you are cute." he told her, stroking the pad of his thumb against her soft cheek. He looked past her for a second or more, his eyes on Mason. "Will you be playing spin the bottle?" he asked in an almost whisper, then looked down at Andy.

The thought of Mason getting the chance to kiss her during a game wasn't the best image to have struck in his head. "I won't stop you if you want to." he told her. What could one kiss during an agreed game do? it was harmless fun with nothing to it. Well, at least it would mean something to some of them.

When Mason took the beer from her hand, she knew she was in. Especially once he smiled. "My nicknames may suck, but they got you to smile." Adrianna took a swig from her beer, enjoying the taste."And I'll only take advantage if you want me to. I like my guys sober normally, but I can make an exception."

Adrianna let out a soft laugh before taking a brief glance around the rest of the party. It seemed like most of the campers had arrived. She had heard Kalani talk about spin the bottle and Audrey never missed the chance at a party game. Hopefully, Mr. Mysterious next to her would join in. There was a chance, but some campers didn't like Hades's son. Being the son of the god of death can be terrifying, but Audrey wasn't worried. The last thing he would do was kill somebody at a public event. Her love of attractive men could be her downfall with this one.

Audrey could feel the eyes on her as the circle for spin the bottle grew. It was both flattering and a bit annoying. Her minor popularity at the camp was fun and being the center of attention was even better, but it can be difficult when she's trying to do something. Mason being the current something. None the less, she couldn't leave her peers waiting. Seeing her brother sit down only added to it. Mason must've picked up on it too. "I don't think they're gonna start without you." Audrey put on a playful pout. "The curse of being loved." She joked. "Why not join in? I thought parties were about 'losing inhibitions.'" Throwing his words back in his face brought a huge grin to her face. "Plus, you might get lucky." Audrey left before she could hear his response.

Adrianna sat next to her brother, making sure to sit ladylike. Flashing any of these guys was the last thing she wanted. The group was still growing, adding the Zeus siblings and a few others. Adrianna tried not to beam when she noticed Mason decided to join. Maybe tonight would go her way. Audrey leaned onto her brother, whispering in his ear. "So, who do you want to land on you?"

Dimitri didn't hesitate to follow after Lise, trying to keep in step so he wouldn't fall behind. Dimitri wished she shared her excitement at the idea of the party. All the campers looked like they were having fun as he approached. He saw Theo acting as the camp bartender. Dimitri made a mental note to go see what he was serving later. Some alcohol might do a bit of good for him, as long as he didn't drink too much.

Dimitri listened as Lise talked, nodding and making a rare comment if it felt necessary. The demigod liked to let the other campers talk and Dimitri's negativity wasn't always a great conversation starter. He liked listening to Lise talk. It was fun to watch her talk so animatedly. Dimitri always found it refreshing to find people who had such high energy like her, maybe it was partly due to balancing out his own lack of energy. Who knows?

"You know Kalani and stuff, right?" 'One of Aphrodite's children, I believe.' Dimitri thought. He noticed the dark haired girl standing over near Annie and Adrianna. He knew of the trio standing in front of him. He enjoyed their company, but he wouldn't say he was especially close with any of them. The girls were nice, Annie the most. He nodded at the group of girls, noticing a bit of sadness in Kalani's eyes when they approached. She seemed happy whenever the two interacted before, similar with Lise. He'd have to ask about that later.

Hearing about the game 'spin the bottle,' Dimitri was intrigued. He'd never played the game, but had heard of it. Callie explained it to him once when he saw it on television for the first time. On television, the game usually forced two people who liked each other but wouldn't admit it to kiss, something Dimitri never quite understood. Why force someone to kiss? It didn't sound like fun. Despite his dislike of the game, Dimitri took a seat by Lise. It didn't hurt to be involved and maybe nobody would land on him. Although, he would mind if the genius beside him landed on him. "Shall we begin?"

"What?" Ajax said before turning around to be faced by Andy teasing him. She couldn't help but get a cheeky grin, giggling. "You're lucky you are cute." His hand raised so that his thumb stroked her cheek. Andy leaned her head into his touch slightly.

When Ajax's gaze shifted over to Mason, Andy tried her best not to sigh and pull away. Instead, finishing off her beer. She was exhausted of the feud between her best friend and her boyfriend. She understood both sides of their animosity, but that didn't make it any easier for her being in the middle. Her gaze was drawn back to Ajax when he began speaking. "Will you be playing spin the bottle?"

Andy's gaze drifted over towards the growing group of campers, getting ready to play spin the bottle. She raised her right hand to scratch her head. "I won't stop you if you want to." Andy quirked her brow towards him, before looking back towards the crowd. She couldn't help but get a slight uneasy feeling when she saw one of the campers practically fawning over Mason. All she hoped was that those girls watch themselves, because if they hurt her best friend, she'd crack some skulls.

She cleared her throat, smiling up to Ajax. "Don't think I'm in the mood to smack lips with half of the camp tonight." Andy made her way around the bar, pouring herself one of the shots Theo was handing out. She shot the Artemis son a wink, before looking back towards Ajax. "Out of all the parties I've been to since I came to camp, I don't think I've actually enjoyed one of them." With that, she downed the shot, slamming the glass down on the bar. "So, I'm going to enjoy myself."

With that, Andy grabbed herself a fresh beer and popped the cap. "But if you wanna play, go for it." Was that the truth? Not really. The idea of other girls or guys kissing on Ajax was the last thought she wanted on her mind. But, she wasn't the type to tell anyone what they should or shouldn't do, regardless of how she feels about it. Andy walked over to Ajax, moving to her tip toes, placing a tender kiss on his cheek while patting his chest.

Drink in hand, Andy made her way towards a group of campers that were dancing near the music. As she got closer, she took a drink and started to sway her hips. She melted her way into the group, dancing and swaying with them.

Trinity nearly stopped walking all together at the comment of a date. “An official date.” Well this wasn't the response that Wes wanted. His gaze fell to his feet. “Sounds serious.” He laughed weakly, clicking his tongue in his mouth. “If I win, you be my slave for 24 hours. I know, bit of a lack of imagination on my part. But it's flexible for me.”

Wes nodded his head, agreeing to the terms. "Alright. You're on, tomorrow... We arm wrestle."

"Spin the bottle anyone?"

“You can go teach the freshies how it's done.”

Wes' brows furrowed as he looked down at Trinity. He let his arm slowly fall from her shoulders, slipping his hand back into his pocket. "I think I'm ok. Plus, I don't want it to land on my sister... That's gross."

“Who knows, you might end up on Alex." Ouch. His jaw clenched tightly. Was she still holding a grudge about last years bonfire? He didn't say anything, or let his facial expression show. Instead, remaining quiet. “Lots of, uh, you know...'cuties' this year.”

Wes was left standing there kind of dumbfounded as Trinity disappeared into the party. He sighed, rubbing the back of his head. For being the son of Aphrodite, women confused the hell out of him. The fiery blonde seemed to blow so hot and cold with him, that he didn't know what to do. He couldn't help but wonder if their kiss at the end of last year was out of pity or sympathy for is injury, instead of feelings. He sighed, trying not to think about it.

He wasn't in the mood to sit in a circle and kiss a bunch of people, and Trinity was at the bar with Harley. So, Wes walked over to the snack table, grabbing a marshmallow and a stick. He then walked over towards the bonfire, sitting down on a log and got to toasting.

Sloane overheard the cheers and gathering campers preparing to play spin the bottle. She had to fight the urge not to gag at the thought. Such a dumb, pointless game that high schoolers and horny teenagers took place in. She never understood the appeal in having to kiss a random person because the bottle just happened to land on them. Sounds like a quick way to cause drama... or get the flu. Either way, she was going to stay where she was.

She had just started to get engrossed in her book once again, when she heard footsteps approaching, a little too close for comfort. Sloane looked up from her book, just then realizing she was sitting a dozen or so feet away from the guy who froze her book. But her view was quickly cut off by some evident Aphrodite daughter. What was it with Aphrodite kids and their need to go after people who wanted absolutely nothing to do with them.

"Hey there, I thought you could use one of these." The girl held out a drink towards Dom.

"No."

Sloane closed the book, holding the place with her finger. She leaned forward, peaking around the girls legs to gauge Dom's expression. When he looked away, she figured the girl would have walked away. But apparently, not.

"What? No? I don't get a thank you at least?" Sloane's gaze didn't waver when Dom gave his best resting bitch face towards the girl. "Nothing? Alright. Fine. Might as well take the drink then."

The girl went to throw the drink at him, which Sloane thought was a bit dramatic. She was half tempted to chuck her book at the back of the girl's head. That's what she would have done if a guy was treating her the way that dumb girl was treating Dom. Some people just like their alone time... How hard is that for people to understand. But before the drink could get on Dom, he froze the liquid as it hit the sand.

The whole situation obviously startled the girl. She took a step back, and Sloane's gaze fell to the girl's shoe when she heard a snap, losing her heel in the sand. Stupid mistake, most women know to put all their weight on their toes when wearing stilettos in sand and grass. But, she didn't expect the girl to completely lose her balance. Sloane squealed softly, scooting over to avoid being squished. She held up her book like it was the only thing to defend herself from collapsing Aphrodite girl.

Sloane chuckled softly, a slight curve of her mouth into a smirk as the girl limp-stomped her way over towards the party. Her gaze slowly drifted back over towards Dom, her gaze widening slightly and cheeks flushing when she made eye contact with him. She bit on her lip, opening her book back up. She wasn't able to read another sentence, before the water's current seemed to raise. It caught her attention when the cold water reached her feet. Sloane gasped, grabbing her heels in her left hand, scooting back in the sand, trying not to get wet.

"Yeah man. Straight whiskey. I'll take another round if you want a couple." Theo poured him and Sylas two shots each. Sylas smiled, reaching out to grab his shots, but before he grabbed a hold of them, another hand showed up, snagging one of them.

Sylas gaze drifted towards a very attractive man. He didn't even bother arguing when the brunette took the shot, downing it quickly while keeping intent eye contact with him. "Thanks," he said, setting the shot glass down before giving Sylas a wink.

Instead of following after him right away, Sylas leaned against the bar, watching him walk away. And was it a nice sight to see. He looked over towards Theo with a grin. "Well, I guess that's my invitation to spin the bottle." He lightly nudged Theo with his elbow. Sylas pushed off the bar and started towards the growing circle of people. "You should join... Who knows, you might get to kiss me." Sylas teased with a teasing wink.

Before joining the party, he couldn't help but sense some of the awkward animosity burrowed deep with the Hecate daughter. He didn't have to try to hard to sense it involved Mason and Ajax. He tried not to smirk out of amusement as he started to work his magic. Slowly, very slowly, he let the slightest hint of envy and jealous ooze out towards the three. Just a nudge. If he did it too quickly, it'd be evident and they'd know that it wasn't themselves. But the slow burn is almost like the effects of alcohol, unnoticeable until it's too far.

Sylas slid his hands into his pockets, slowly striding towards the spin the bottle game. Instead of seeming too overly eager or anything else, he took a spot in the circle almost directly across from the guy who stole his shot. He sat down, but couldn't help his gaze from lingering back towards the male on multiple occasions. This game was the perfect opportunity to observe... And slowly poison others with negative emotions. This was going to be fun.

As the number of participants in Kalani's little game begun to grow, as did the excitement bubbling in her chest. Ani had always been an excitable girl, but nothing got her quite as animated as parties - specifically party games. They always made things interesting. Glad to see Annie come over and sit herself down with her brother who had also just joined, Ani sends her another smile, her tongue poking out from between her teeth, something she did when she was excited.

Lise is next to come over, sitting right next to Ani, and while the smile never wavers on her face, Ani can't help but think that there's no way she's gonna get to kiss Lise now - not when she's sitting right next to her! For such an intelligent girl, Lise had been pretty oblivious to Ani's little crush on her. Lise is quickly followed by Dimitri, who she is sure to send a semi-sincere smile to, after all, he didn't know how Ani felt.

"Suggester spins first, right?" Ani is startled as a deep voice speaks to her out of nowhere. She'd never expected Mason to join, but Ani knew that he would make the game extra intriguing. Especially since Adrianna seemed to have her sights set on the guy. "Mason, I didn't realise you were a seasoned pro."
She teases, raising an eyebrow yet knowing full well that it was unlikely Mason played this game often; but who knew, the guy seemed full of surprises.

As she is about to spin the bottle, Ani's attention is caught by Wes and Trinity walking through the clearing and into the party. Of course, her big brother had never mentioned his real feelings for Trinity to Kalani - they'd only just met and were still trying to get to know each other, so their love lives never really came up - but it would take a very oblivious person, and an especially oblivious child of Aphrodite, not to see the chemistry between them. Or at least see how Wes looked at her. Attempting to catch her brother's eye as he walks over to the snack table, Ani sends him a little wave.

"Shall we begin?" Another male voice brings Ani out of her thoughts. Oh crap, she'd gotten caught up in seeing what Wes was doing she'd almost forgotten to take her turn. Laughing softly, Ani nods and turns back to the group, looking at each new member. She'd managed to draw in both old and new campers which delighted Ani, hopefully there would be some proper bonding going on tonight so that everyone got to know each other a little bit better - or at least got to know the inside of each other's mouths a little better.

Hand on the bottle, Ani gives it a strong spin, her eyes glued to it as it began to slow. Oh Gods, who was she about to kiss. Ani's heart pounded in her chest as it passed Mason, then Sylas, spinning past Niko and finally, it landed on Annie.

"Oh, easy!" Ani beams, jumping up from her seat and bounding over to where Annie sat. "Don't worry, I've been told I'm a great kisser." She giggles, leaning in to softly peck Annie's lips. She wasn't gonna go in for a full make out or anything, not with one of her closest friends. That would probably make things just a little awkward. Instead, Ani opts for a sweet little kiss, before she gives Annie a jokingly flirtatious wink and heads back to her seat.

Eyeing up the group, Ani tilts her head to the side, "Right, who's next?" She ponders, before turning to look at Lise who was sat next to her. "Guess it's you, Lee!" Clapping her hands together in glee, Ani sits back, waiting for Lise to take her turn.

“I couldn't even be cute with Brian and my mum when I wanted something."

Harley merely shrugged in response. She didn't care in the slightest for Trinity's adversaries. In fact, with her eyes narrowing into a suspicious slint, she was sure it was all the more fun for Harley.

Trinity pressed her tongue to her cheek processing the new information and options. In spin the bottle there was only a chance of having to kiss somebody, but in dares, there was only lunacy and a really bad charades game. Realistically she was probably one of the least charming on camp, and she refused to even mock a stereotypical popular girl from the movies. Dancing, likewise, there was a chance no one would see but she wasn't drinking enough to hit it solo or be that committed to the beat.Trinity spotted Andy dancing then and a small glint of hope dared to rise so much so that she mentally fist pumped, however, Ajax joined and she immediately wanted to melt. She wasn't third wheeling in a million years.

“Shit,” she muttered, her fists turning to anxious balls while her thumb stroked her fingers. “I choose the bottle of lip locking,” she stated abruptly and shot up to her feet before she could think better of it. Trinity inhaled deeply then shook the nerves away and paced for another beer then towards the circle for the vacancy near Alex.

As it turned out, Alex left the circle as Trinity approached and she tried not to roll her eyes at her damn luck or take it personally, because it couldn't have been. Thankfully, there was a back-up and she shuffled over to Mason instead. Affection was not her strong suit. Trinity's eyes burned into the glass but the bottle regrettably wasn't a telepath. If it were, it'd not land on her until she had a few more beers at least.

Her eyes flickered to Mason who gave a small but smug smile. It took a surprising amount of restrain not to flip him off, tackle him or throw an elbow into his ribs. But it also took restraint not to look over her shoulder and check where Wes was seeing as he wasn’t in the circle. But she had nothing to worry about because the bottle wouldn’t land on her.

“What brings you to this fine game?” Trinity smiled tightly. Not to be mistaken for a dislike for Mason, but the game. Then things slowly started to click. “Oh for fu-” Trinity bit her lip tightly. “I'm not interfering with something here too am I?”

Image Adrianna caught his eye and he rolled his eyes playfully. He was sure it wouldn't be too bad, wherever the bottle may land and where it wasn't too bad it could only be better. So yes, he joined to get lucky and help lose those inhibitions.

"Mason, I didn't realise you were a seasoned pro," Kalani replied and he shrugged with a smirk.

However, seeing Alex join, Mason regretted it instantly. It could be the worse and he didn't care about the damn party or game, he wasn't going near her. Behind Alex was an equally as bad sight, Ajax and Andy having a little heat-fest. Golden boy always did get what he wanted.

Observing outside the game, he missed Kalani's and Annie's kiss, he only saw Kalani return to her seat, but he figured it must have been brief because he wasn't looking for that long. He opened his mouth to consider arguing its eligibility, but he didn't want to have to french someone he'd rather not, all to make a point. And Annie definitely seemed a delicate girl to be light with.

The daughter of Zeus was so restless, she couldn't even sit there long enough to wait for her turn before demanding a turn after Lise's spin. Mason scoffed. Everybody had to bend the rules for "queen Alex" as usual, or so she expected.

His attention shifted to Trinity and he was as surprised to see her at this circle more than she was him. He had to do a double-take.
“What brings you to this fine game?” she asked.
"The chance of kissing any one of my fine looking camp acquaintances."
“Oh for fu-” Mason's eyes widened a little at the burst and how firmly she bit her own lip. If it had been a moment longer he was convinced she'd draw blood. “I'm not interfering with something here too am I?”
"Trinity, there's always room for you," he promised her lowly. "You're my number one girl and I wouldn't replace you, not like others do." Mason placed his hand over hers in the sand. It might have made him lose some of his appeal and reputation with Lockwood, but he promised himself last year that he couldn't lose Trinity. He wouldn't.

All around the warrior princess was losing people, not in death but life which was worse. Mason looked over his shoulder to Alex and Wes pointedly. "You and me, we got to look out for each other and I mean that," he whispered leaning towards her. "Andy's a good girl, we both like her and count her as a friend but if we were dying in the field of battle, she'd choose Ajax. Love of her life. Ajax would sooner let you bleed out too. No one is gonna pick us. Not your brother, Wes, Theo." He gestured to the hunter that joined the circle. The dude practically had heart eyes for Gwen. Last year, Theo gave Trinity any time of day, there truly was nobody he was more committed to than his big crush, but things had evidently changed and Trinity probably saw it as one big demotion.
Elias, he didn't know a great deal about, but he couldn't see him rushing to his half-sister's aid. Preferring to fight and all.
And Wes, he was infatuated with Trinity, sure, but he could hardly save himself. And Trinity and Mason both knew he didn't need a bottle to kiss Alex.

He put his hand back on his lap, watching the bottle. "I'll always have your back."

There was always this strange concoction of anticipation and dread with games such as spin-the-bottle. Every spin egged on by thoughts of both 'please let it land on...' and 'please don't let it land on...' There was a degree of fate (or chance, for the more realistic) that made each spin something of a thrill.

Annie hadn't played it many times before, and her last memory of it was as a teenager, with a boy whose eagerness combined with his lack of experience made for something less than pleasant.

As the bottle twirled, she hoped the best for Kalani, as she always did, and when it landed on her, she smiled knowing that Kalani would have no such issues, and nor would she. Such thoughts were reaffirmed with Ani's reaction, as the latter girl responded in a light tone,

"Oh, easy!"

Annie giggled at her 'great kisser' comment, and as Ani's lips touched Annie's own, the daughter of Apollo felt no embarrassment or concern, completely comfortable with her company and her kisser.

"Guess it's you, Lee!"

Annie leaned back slightly in her seat, looking at Lise expectantly, only for Lise to raise an eyebrow in a questioning look.

"Oh? I thought it was whomever the bottle landed on went next? I'm hardly a stickler for the rules, but I'm not a total anarchist."

She shrugged, her usual smirk reappearing on her face. "But if you insist."

Her numerous silver rings glittered in the firelight as she gave the bottle a twirl, and her smirk remained as the bottle spun once, twice, thrice, before finally landing on Trinity. Her eyes flicked up from the bottle, and she shot Trinity a flirtatious look before leaning across the bottle towards her.

"Xena, my love," She tapped her lips with her index finger, "You got something for me?"

Andy made quick work of the beer in her hand as she flowed with the music. When the bottle was empty, she simply conjured it away instead of having to stop to find a trash can. She closed her eyes, letting herself be taken by the music. Since the war, she's had so many heavy burdens on her shoulders that she forgot what it was like to just... Live. It was kind of liberating. She could feel the tension just roll off her shoulders as the alcohol soaked into her system. One night without inhibitions, pain and sadness.

She rocked back and forth with the campers around her, letting her body sway to the beat of the music. Andy's rhythmic movements momentarily dulled when she felt hands slide over her hips. She ran a hand back through her hair as she glanced over her shoulder to see who it was. If it was anyone other than Ajax, he would kill them. But, a soft smile graced her lips when she saw it was him as he pulled her back towards him.

Andy moved her body in sync with his, her left hand resting on top of his, sliding her fingers between his. Her body melted into his arms as they swayed together. Sometimes Andy forgot what it was like being in his arms. They both were always so consumed with other things. Ajax with the camp and herself with all her inner struggles. They rarely got to just be together and enjoy each other's presence.

"Can I come to your cabin tonight?" he asked. Ajax's voice was deep and raw, but still tender.

It took a moment for Ajax's question to actually sink it. When it did, it took everything Andy had not to stop dead in her tracks like a deer in headlights. Her heart skipped a beat, then pounded uncontrollably. She started growing lightheaded, unsure if it was from the alcohol or the question. They've gone to each others' cabins numerous times, at all hours. But, this was more than a surface level question. They've been together awhile, but their relationship hadn't reached that level yet. There were many reasons why she should have said no. But, one reason why she should say yes. Something she hadn't admitted to herself or verbalized.

Her head continued to spin, but Andy let her body lean back into his to stabilize herself without making her dizziness evident. She moved her right hand back, hooking it around his neck, curling her fingers in his hair. She slowly looked back over her shoulder, glancing up at Ajax. After exhaling, she nodded her head, whispering back, "...Yeah." Once she said it, Andy felt a wave of emotions overcome her: anxiety, excitement, fear and nausea. But, she didn't let her face show it. She just held Ajax's gaze as she danced with him.

Wes stared intently at the marshmallow stuck at the end of his stick. He didn't realize that he was kind of in a daze, and that the puffy pillow was burning until he felt a hand on his shoulder. "Hope you don't mind if I join you for a little bit."

"Not at all." He motioned for her to have a seat before pulling the stick from the fire, quickly blowing out the flames on the marshmallow. "I wanted it extra toasty," he lied, making an excuse for his daydreaming. He brought the burnt treat to his mouth, taking a bite causing the goopy white fluff to make a mess around his mouth.

"Something on your mind?" Alex asked after taking a seat beside him.

Wes finished the marshmallow, then used his thumb to wipe the sticky remnants from his mouth. "I have officially found a down side to having only one arm," he said while motioning the stick towards her. "I can't make a proper s'more. I can toast a marshmallow like no one's business, obviously," he chuckled weakly. "But you can't properly squish the melted bastard between graham crackers and chocolate with one hand. My life of campfire snacks is reduced to charred white goop on a stick... With lord knows what on it." He raised the stick towards his face, furrowing his brows as he inspected it.

After a weak laugh and shrug of his shoulders, Wes started stoking the bonfire with his stick, growing silent for a long while. He sighed. "That... And you know, the pity," he said with a nonchalant shrug of his shoulders. He kept poking the stick into the fire, not looking over at Alex. He was skirting around the truth. Not that he had any issue telling Alex anything. But, more that he didn't feel like getting into it when anyone could eavesdrop on their conversation.

His attention was drawn over towards the spin the bottle game when he heard giggling and laughter. Wes didn't realize until that moment that Trinity had joined the game, which gave him a sinking feeling in his stomach. He looked back to the fire, trying to ignore it until the next round was up. "Xena, my love. You got something for me?" He couldn't help the distasteful glare he was probably shooting towards the game. For some reason it angered him, hearing someone else call Trinity, Xena. He teasingly called her that about as much as he called her blondie. But those were his nicknames. Hearing someone else use them made his stomach turn.

Wes shoved the stick into the sand. He then removed his beanie, running his hand back through his hair. He finally looked over towards Alex, giving her a slight bump with his shoulder, attempting his best smile. "Go on back to your kissing game," he said, motioning his hand towards the spin the bottle game. "I'm fine." Wes knew he probably was overthinking things. He'd tell Alex about it later that night when they were alone or tomorrow. After all, it was a party. She should be having fun, not consoling her friend.

Sloane was ready to accept her fate with the tide. It's not like it was obscenely cold or anything, but she definitely wasn't in the mood to get wet. Just when the current was about to reach her feet, the water froze. It arched around her in the shape of a horseshoe, cracking as it turned to ice. Her jaw dropped as she sat there in the sand with her book clutched to her chest.

She looked upwards towards the tall, dark boy that froze her book. Her gaze shifted back and forth between the frozen water and him. "Are you alright? The tide can be pretty unruly at this time of night" Sloane didn't know what to say, staring up at him as he shifted back and forth. He was the first person to really talk to her since she arrived at camp... Which left her speechless and dumbfounded. "I'm Domonik. Dom"

Dom then reached his hand out towards her, presumably to help her up. She swallowed, looking between his eyes and hand. After a moment, Sloane hooked her left fingers in the back strap of her heels, then used the same hand to hold her book to her chest. She hesitantly extended her hand, placing her palm in his. Dom's skin was chilled, not cold like ice but cool like an autumn breeze, soft and refreshing. Her fingers wrapped around his hand, grasping it firmly as he helped her to her feet.

Sloane felt unbelievably short standing beside him without her heels on. She looked over at the water then back towards him. "Thanks... It's the first time I've actually been to the beach. Makes sense that it tries to eat me." She flashed him a weak smile. When she looked down, she realized she was still holding his hand. Her cheeks flushed as her gaze darted up to meet his. "I'm Sloane, she said, giving his hand an awkward shake before releasing it.

After a second, she cleared her throat, brushing loose hair behind her ears. "I don't have any nicknames... Unless you count the names some of the campers call me." Sloane quickly bit her lip. Why did she say that? That wasn't important or necessary information. She was mentally kicking herself. This is why she was antisocial. As she stood there, holding her book and shoes, she could feel eyes on her. She glanced around, most of the campers engaged in their own activities. But then she saw the broken heeled Aphrodite girl glaring at her. Sloane's brows furrowed into a distasteful, disgusted bitch face.

She must have looked particularly menacing or something, because the girl promptly scurried away, disappearing into a crowd of campers. Sloane briefly smiled to herself, before turning her attention back towards Dom. "I uh... take it you don't like parties either?" Dumb question, but she had no idea what to say. She didn't necessarily feel awkward in his presence. If anything, his social ineptness was similar to her own. She just wasn't used to really talking to anyone other than Sylas and her mother... Which isn't much to go off of.

Sylas opted for more of a backseat role in the spin the bottle game. Observing was more of his forte rather than partaking. Of course, if and when the bottle landed on him, he'd make quite a show of it. Particularly if a tantalizing brunette across the way was the fate's chosen victim. Who was he to protest? After all, it's for the sport of the game.

He leaned back, stretching his arms out behind himself to support his weight. His long legs extended before him, crossing at the ankles. Sylas didn't quite see the enjoyment in girl on girl kissing like some other males do. It didn't get him all hot and bothered. Anyone kissing was just kissing in his eyes. The only kind that got him excited was when it included himself. Plus, the kiss between Kalani and Annie was anything but steamy. Seven minutes in heaven would be more exciting than watching a bunch of girl's kissing each other like five year old school girls.

But, the one thing that continued to hold his attention was the attractive gent that he sat across from. Sylas was by no means blind, and intentionally met the guy's gaze whenever he looked towards him. Spin the bottle or not, he had every intention on pursuing that. He had plump lips that looked like the prefect specimen for kissing. And if his suggestive looks said anything, it wouldn't end at just a kiss. Not that Sylas minded... At all.

Oh boy. Another girl landed on... You guessed it, another girl. Sylas tried to keep from actually rolling his eyes, although it was tempting. As if he didn't like Lise enough, her whole demeanor about the kiss was just, bleh. So far, this was the most boring game of spin the bottle. He came for the drama... And the hot boy. Nothing even remotely close to what he wanted was happening. Of course, his face showed a different story. Half seductive glances towards the main reason he joined, and half fake amusement, pretending like he actually enjoyed this game.

"Trinity, there's always room for you," Mason assured her, which was just as well because her patience was running thin with her bullshit luck. "You're my number one girl and I wouldn't replace you, not like others do."
Was she being replaced by the others? Number one girl? It felt good but empty at the same time. She glanced to his hand coming to rest on top of hers then up at him.

Rather than give him the questionable look she had intended, she was distracted by his gaze elsewhere and Trinity followed it to Wes and Alex. "You and me, we got to look out for each other and I mean that." Trinity inhaled with a prepared pain in her chest. Mase and her had had this kind of talk before. "Andy's a good girl, we both like her and count her as a friend but if we were dying in the field of battle, she'd choose Ajax. Love of her life. Ajax would sooner let you bleed out too. No one is gonna pick us. Not your brother, Wes, Theo." Hearing it verbally brought that sting back. Her gaze washed over all those that she had grown to trust and would do as good as betray her on the battlefield, and the worse part was she couldn't argue against it. Because tonight, if some beast ambushed her and cut her open, they wouldn't save her. All too absorbed in their booze and hormones and several of other people. Who would prioritize saving a daughter of Ares?

Trinity's jaw clenched, her cold gaze resting on wolf boy as her thoughts went on auto-pilot. Images flooded her head of her wounded and those 'friendly faces' passing by and leaving her there. Trinity didn't fear death but she didn't want to die alone. “It’s a good thing I can fight for myself then, huh?” she told Mason.

"I'll always have your back."

Trinity smiled a little. “Thanks. And I'll have yours.”

Trinity was in a different world entirely that was so toxic and vivid, she was half tempted drive her knee into them and right hook them in advance. Thankfully, and of all people, Lise snapped her out of it. "Xena, my love," she was saying, leaning towards Trinity and tapped her lips with her index finger, "You got something for me?"

Trinity's eyes trailed to the bottle's neck pointing at her then back up at Lise. Of course. Why did she expect she'd get away with it? Trinity leaned into Lise and planted a firm kiss on her lips holding it there for a good few qualifying seconds before pulling away. Trinity's brows furrowed then as her own kiss, coming from a place of impatience, annoyance and some recently pent up rage, was projected on Lise's lips. “Was that okay?” she mumbled to the daughter of Athena.

If she was a horrible kisser, she'd prefer to know before she - if she ever kissed Wes again or if some other bottle decided to land on her. And Lise and her ego weren't the kinds to divert from the truth.

Trinity scooped up the bottle. “Al!” she called sharply before Kalani decided to change the rules to Lise's version of 'whoever the bottle lands on spins next'.

Alex didn't meet Trinity with the haste she hoped for. She took another swig of her drink during the interval.

“Just take the spin, Trin,” the devil's daughter called to her.

“Hurry up,” another anxious player prompted.

She sighed out laying the bottle down and spun it around, eyes locked on the glass that chose who she kissed. When it came to a stop, she saw it landed on the son of Artemis. Her fists turned to balls and teeth grit. Still, Trinity leaned over, tugged Theo towards her, grabbed him in place with a hand and closed the distance with a kiss, crushing her lips on his. In time, she pulled away and gave his cheek a 'playful' pat. Such a shame he was a face that she couldn't depend on.

Trinity returned to her spot by Mason and ran her fingers through her hair and released a sigh. “Well, next time I join something like this, don't let me.” She went for her own beer bottle but found it was empty again. “That’s my cue to go. Good luck, champ.”

She wasn’t sure things gleamed quite so bright and wicked as her own grin in that moment. She pivotted on her heel to bear witness to the participation of Trinity in spin the bottle and shot a glance to Elias. He didn't seem the overbearing brother type, but if Harley was drawn as the bad influence or something, she had to be ready to defend herself and make her claim.

Harley didn't have to wait drastically long for her dear dare to be complete to satisfactory as the bottle landed on Trinity and she went for gold like a trooper. Harleen's brow quirked up in surprise. She supposed she might have owed Wes an apology for that since he had some significant attachment with the blonde and in no circumstance was it easy to watch your person of interest lock lips with another.

But elsewhere, there was more entertainment that awaited her. More feathers to ruffle, more shows. It was a party right? So for her own sake of sanity, she needed to lighten to mood for herself and find amusement. A guy and modest girl were giving each other eyes and their bodies were drawing closer together. Harley made a bee line for them and breezed by as if she had places to be and the other end was compellingly intriguing. As she did, she reached around one-handed and squeezed the girl's butt. The daughter of a famous deity gasped, scowled and spun on her heels and left the boy standing there dumbfounded.

Harley chuckled to herself. “I’m not even sorry.” In fact she already felt better for it.

She took a seat in the sand and smiled watching the party. She could see herself liking it here.

“Uh... yes? Do you want something, or...?”

Her hand returned to her side. “Not at the present time,” Evelyn confessed easily. “I just thought to introduce myself formally. But if you were busy, and my presence is a nuisance I apologize for misreading the circumstances.”

Evelyn held McKenna's gaze, rooted in place. Of course, Eve acknowledged she could have been a nuisance but McKenna certainly wasn't busy and there weren't a great deal of compelling others to see and talk with tonight.

A few questions started to bubble to the surface with this intriguing young soul. “Do people often come to you for a favor?” she inquired. Since McKenna's first response was to assume Evelyn wanted something, she thought it was fair to ask. “Do you agree to them?” Then, she smiled slightly, ready to ask the most intriguing question of the night. “Do I look like somebody that wants or expects something from you?” Evelyn searched McKenna's eyes. She was sure the girl had no reason or restrain to lie, but she was curious to hear the youngest demigod's response. Maybe Evelyn appeared as venomous and using as a daughter of Hera. Or as deceptive as a child of Khione. The open floor of honest feedback would no doubt highlight her night, not to mention give her a better sense how she came off to others. Not that she was changing that any time soon.

“Can I get you a drink?” Evelyn shifted over to the coolers and rose her brows expectantly towards McKenna, prepared to dunk her hand into the lucky dip of drinks that were...what...90% beer. “Maybe something from home?” Eve challenged.

Image Duke joined the girls slowly and watched Evelyn's hand hang mid-air and return to her side without shake.

At this rate things might have been less awkward with the drunkards in spin the bottle. It was that unwelcoming he even thought about merging over towards that game. But he preferred not to kiss people under the circumstances that a bottle told him to. Besides, he wasn't sure if this was how Evelyn and McKenna talked to people or there was some underlying stand off thing going on. He preferred the first because then McKenna definitely had a friend in Eve.

Duke bit his tongue for now though, even when he found Eve's questions a little interrogative towards his sister. When she moved to the coolers, Duke took the opportunity to step towards McKenna. "Call me if you need anything." He knew McKenna could handle herself but Duke wanted to cover all basis. Drunks pushing beers in her hand, Evelyn pushing her temper were probably the most concerning at this point.

Duke approached the fire catching the tail end of Alex and Wes's conversation. "...make things awkward for them."
It sounded more like an intimate, private conversation so Duke kept walking, and frankly, finding heat wasn't ever an issue for him. For now he'd have to stay a little longer before calling it quits and returning to his cabin.

Image Mason tried not to snicker as it landed on Trinity. It looked like it took a while for things to click in place for her, but when it did, Trinity went for it. She didn't hesitate which probably knocked Lise's ego up a couple thousand notches. But even Mason was pretty impressed and if she had done the same to him and kissed him the same way, he'd have an inflated ego too. She hung there for an extra moment, flirting with the daughter of Athena. No that wasn't right...death threat?

“Al!” Trinity called.
"Don't call her over," Mason grumbled, rubbing his forehead. Even the concept of her rejoining, doing some stupid fake modest giggle about having to kiss someone, annoyed him. Or worse those over confident "seductive" smirks.

A few impatient heckles came her way and Trinity took the spin. When it landed on Theo, Mason peered at Trinity's expression and laughed. For a moment he was worried he'd have to grab Trinity when she pounced and attacked him and they'd have to make a hasty retreat but instead, she kissed him like she was going to war. His eyes widened and brows shot up. It was probably the first time Mason was envious of Theo. Like not knowing whether she was going to kill you or give you the best angry sex of your life...what a thrill.

Mason rolled out his neck. His eyes washed over the circle. If the son of Eris knew some sub-text, maybe he'd revel a little more in the drama or make some drama and chaos, or maybe he'd just keep undressing Mateo with his eyes. Mason's eyes landed on Adrianna and he couldn't help the small smirk that passed his lips. He was hopeful but pretty pessimistic about the odds of landing on her and while she was beautiful, he wasn't swept away in the idea of lust like so many others tonight.
Trinity shrunk back into her spot beside him causing him to turn back to her. “Well, next time I join something like this, don't let me.”
Mason laughed. "You did good, I'm honestly...blown away."
Trinity checked her beer. “That’s my cue to go. Good luck, champ.”
"I almost feel left out. Don’t you have something for me?" He tapped his lips as Lise had and laughed.

Boy he hoped Romeo saw Trinity and Theo kiss. Did children of Aphrodite even feel jealousy? His head shifted to Kalani curiously.
"Ani," he said, he thought he had heard people call her that before, "who's your favorite on camp so far? It's not a trick question either," he assured with an amused smile. He definitely didn't expect Kalani to say him, unless in a joking nature. "Just some...soul searching. An interval game, if you will."

Ani isn't sure whether to be annoyed or amused when Lise lands on Trinity, but decides on the latter after Lise's comment. However the amusement quickly turns into surprise when Trinity goes straight in for the kill, something Ani was not expecting. Since Alex had left the circle, even though she'd asked to go next - which didn't make much sense to Ani - it went back to Trinity to spin once more. Landing on Theo.

While she may not have been here the year previous, from the look on Trinity's face, someone must have gone down between her and the son of Artemis. How exciting, Ani wasn't usually one for causing chaos, she was more of a wing-woman than a drama queen, she couldn't deny that this was pretty interesting. Unless, of course, it hurt Wes. In Ani's eyes it was just a game, but then she'd never been in love and seen that person kissing someone else, so who was she to say how her brother would feel? Chewing on her bottom lip, she sends a glance in her half-brother's direction, hoping he would be too engrossed in his conversation with Alex to have taken notice.

"Looks like it's your turn Theo," Ani beams, locking eyes with him, "Although I doubt anyone's gonna be able to top that kiss."
She continues, giggling ever so slightly.

"Ani," Turning her head back to the circle, Ani catches Mason's eye once more, this has gotta be the most he'd ever spoken to her, "Who's your favorite on camp so far? It's not a trick question either," Cocking her head to the side, Ani wonders why on earth Mason is asking her this, and more than that, why he would even care. "Just some...soul searching. An interval game, if you will."

Biting down on her bottom lip, Ani's gaze floats around the circle as she ponders on Mason's question. "Well," She begins, a wry smile forming on her lips, "I wouldn't wanna hurt your feelings and not say you, Mace; besides, I don't want to rule out anyone," Ani had never once heard a single person call Mason that during her time at Camp and hey, if it ruffled his feathers she didn't really care, Ani was intentionally teasing him. "However, I'm more interested in hearing who your favourite is." Subtly avoiding the subject and cracking jokes seemed like the best option to Ani and so she sent Mason a wink, messing with him. She didn't want to hurt anyone's feelings by not saying them, or worse yet, make anyone uncomfortable by labelling the her 'favourite person at camp'. Especially since it was probably Lise, and Ani wasn't quite ready to reveal her little crush yet. Not only that, but Ani was genuinely curious as to who Mason favoured seeing as they barely spoke, maybe it would give her more of an insight into the role he had played at Camp Athens last year, since no one wanted to tell Ani the full story, not even Wes wanted to get into it which Ani respected; he lost a lot last year.

Waiting for his response, Ani looks over to Adrianna who was still sat by his side, wondering whether he might say her. It would certainly get him into her good books, although he already seemed to be top of her list. If they didn't end up hooking-up tonight Ani would be shocked, not because Mason struck her as a particularly frisky person, but because Adrianna was queen of seduction - second only to Ani, naturally. Although even Ani couldn't deny that her friend had the 'hot mean girl' schtick down, something that never really appealed to Ani, but she genuinely enjoyed Adrianna's take on it. In fact, Adrianna had been one of her first friends at the camp, and while they were actually quite different, Ani believed it was their parentage that brought the girls together. Plus they were both pretty amazing at talking the pants off of just about anyone. Brushing a lock of brunette hair from her eyes, Ani shifts her gaze back onto Mason.

Trinity bumped her knee into Mason and bee-lined for another beer. But there was a new selection of bottles and plastic cups sitting on the bar. She looked around to see who would dive in and claim them as theirs and how she couldn't have any, etc. etc. but nobody did so she poured herself a shot, downed it, poured another and took it to go.

Someone grabbed her arm firmly enough to demand her attention and make her lose a step and bounce back, and frankly she wasn't in the mood to be touched or stopped. Trinity pulled herself up short of shoving them away when she saw it was Theo. The audacity of this guy.

"Hey, are you okay? And don't lie to me. I can see it. You know I've always been able to read it in your eyes." Yeah, it was probably those stupid cheat animal instincts. Internally, she groaned. It wasn't and she loved what Artemis and her children could do, especially the shapeshifting. It was her damn eyes. "Talk to me, Trin."

“A girl kisses you and you ask her what’s wrong?” she asked back to Theo half amused. She wasn't 'in' with dating and affectionate acts, but she felt that it was rough timing. “Kinda brutal.” 'Hey, are you okay because you can't really kiss if your life depended on it' But then her eyes searched his face with a moment's of genuine concern. She didn't bite him accidentally or grip him too hard did she? Trinity was upset with these hypothetical versions of the people she cared about but if she was going to hurt Theo, she best have done it right and deliberately.

After figuring that wasn't the case otherwise he probably would have said something about the kiss, not her well-being, she released a sigh. “I don't know Theo, it's stupid,” she confessed. It was unfair of her to be moody at him for something he hadn't done. He might do it but he certainly hadn't failed her yet. “Just...” her hands collapsed by her side, “would you save me? Cause I kinda have this image in my head that all my camp mates would sooner abandon me and let me bleed dry than you know...actually help me. I mean there's enough hate in the world so one less hateful person isn't exactly a big loss,” her gaze moved pass Theo and into blank space as she rambled, “and I'd probably live on purely out of spite anyway and take care of myself. But...” as her eyes shifted back to Theo, he was quite literally stolen away.

A dry laugh escaped her. “Am I being punked?” In what world was this shit okay. And when did Alex turn into a brunette bimbo. She was a bit flirty, adventurous, impulsive but Trinity didn't think that bad. Did Alex just have a thing for taking the guys Trinity liked. She spared a look to Wes then knocked back her second shot. She couldn't face him yet. Besides, wouldn't be long til some other person swept to Ken's side then probably started chatting him up.

As she moved to join Harley, some arms wrapped around her waist and seized her to their side. "I bet I could kiss you better."

“I bet you don’t and you don’t even try.” She threw her elbow into his ribs and kicked behind his knee cap in two fluid natural motions. He collapsed and yelled out a little louder than she would have liked and she hurriedly tried to quiet him. “Ssh. You're okay. Walk it off. Dick.”

She sighed out when she finally reached her darer, sitting by her, only facing the waves. “That was a disaster,” she concluded picking up Harley's drink and taking a sip. Trinity didn't even want to look back towards the party or see Wes because it'd probably tip her over the edge. Trinity had honestly rather had locked lips with her peers than talk to someone and fail at playing charming or just even talk to someone and lie that she tried. She sat there with a hand clutched roughly in her hair as that sunk in. Only you, Trinity. Only you. In her perfect world, the bottle span round and round, missed her until people called it a night or she could pretend to be tired and fatigued. But Lise blew that up in her face right off the bat. Trinity should have shifted to something more like an outer circle as if she was a mere spectator.

After some time of sitting by Harley and staring out into the vast water, Trinity stood up. “I'm going for a swim.” Maybe the waves could help erase the spin the bottle action and help her get a real sense of logic. The beach was such a carefree space after all. Well, the tide was. In there the only worries were whether she should go over or under a wave, if a wave was 'dumper', if she should try body surf it, and occasionally, in Australia, is there a shark in water as well? Even if the waves didn't serve the magical purposes Trinity was hoping for, they would cure the heat creeping across Trinity's skin and it looked inviting the entire time she was staring at it.

Harley was doing some bad lip reading and voice overs of what topic people were talking about and how. She never failed to amuse herself when in need but Trinity giving some guy a swift beat down was much better making Harley erupt into laughter. Some people didn't pay attention to heritages and did just not know how to approach a lady.

Harley watched Trinity head for her and smiled when she parked her butt beside her. “That was a disaster.”

She tilted her head sympathetically. At least she had done it. “I don't think Lise and Theo thought so. Disaster isn't the word that springs to my mind either. In fact what disastrous thing could happen to you?” The question hung in the air between them and wasn't answered for a long while. Trinity's silence was taken as nothing, exactly what Harley gathered. When you were the queen of pain, what did you have to fear, what could be so disastrous?

“I'm going for a swim.”

Harley squinted. “But it's night and really not that hot.” Harley looked over her shoulder towards the waves. “Tide's coming in, isn't it?” When she turned back around she found Trinity's clothes dumped on her other side. Harleen did a 360 and found Trinity's shape, unless conveniently, somebody else decided to go for a swim in the dark at the same time and had blonde hair from what the last glimpse of firelight showed. “Don't go too far,” she mumbled as the figure steadily got further away from the light and party and deeper into the ocean. “You forgot a towel,” she cooed just as uselessly.

She couldn't help but hover for some time. It felt totally against Harley's nature too. Rather than enjoy a party she was trying to keep her eyes on the Queen of Pain. Harley had to remember to lock in that nickname for Trinity when she came back as well. Harley quickly scanned the party once more taking note of the location of the children of Poseidon in case hazards occurred. The likelihood was slim but just in case. Couldn't be too careful and all that.

Harley trudged back to the fire. She had caught glimpse of a girl alone making sand castles but she certainly didn't seem lonely, and more content in her world. Part of Harley wished sandcastles could be that fun for her too. So she chose not to intrude on that activity and keep walking, up to the logs and beside Raven. “Hello lady and gent,” she greeted the pair she instead chose to intrude upon and took a seat on Raven's other side. “Good to see you both make an appearance. Even if parties aren't our particular scene and we don't feel festive.” Most parties were about energy and drinking but those two were happily situated in the same place since she had last seen them. Personally Harley could never achieve such an act.

"Usually, people don't come to me at all. I don't have friends, so if anyone were to approach me, they would probably want something. Like you; you want to know how I would respond to your really forward advances, and maybe you might find me abnormal and wonder, 'who the fuck is this person?'" Even with it all supposedly figured out, the youngest demigod eyed her like an ill motive was lurking at heart. "If you wanted to know, I do indeed find you nosy."

Evelyn let the young and fiery demigod have her say without interruption, she was entitled to her voice and opinion no matter how abrupt, and Evelyn had asked for it and of course she hadn't expected a pleasant review to depart the blonde's mouth. But she had provided the truth and with that, throughout their interaction thus far, evidence to why she didn't have friends. Still, Eve wasn't completely repelled from her yet.

After a moment of eyeing the coolers, McKenna had her response. "I highly doubt that you have any rakija in there."

While luck could be as good as witchcraft and Evelyn had prompted for something from the daughter of Hephaestus's home, she hunched rakija wasn't exactly juice or water. Evelyn couldn't draw out her company's exact age, although the way she acted pitted against the world or the people in it she could almost fool people she was older, Evelyn knew she was youthful and considered a minor in majority of lands across the globe. Besides, even if Evelyn was compelled to give her an alcoholic beverage, she had a big protective brother with eyes like a hawk.

She sighed slightly when it was her turn to speak again, pulling out a bottle of water for herself then sliding away from the cooler with the smallest gesture for McKenna to help herself to an improved range of drinks. If luck befitted her maybe she would find rakija. “I do have a habit of testing people but I wasn't testing you. I was merely interested in why you are the way you are so I chose to ask questions, but in future I'll walk on eggshells around you.” Personally, Evelyn didn't like to waste time tip-toeing around matters, however, she supposed more subtlety could have been implemented. Likewise, she assumed McKenna wouldn't mind her forward advances, but maybe she had misjudged her. “I didn't think sweet, kind smiles and words would do much for you,” she said picking up from her train of thought. “I wanted answers and I got them,” she pointed out evenly.

Evelyn took a sip from her bottle. “I have a great deal of respect for the children of Hephaestus. Engineers and smiths have a role on camp and the world. They're smart.” While the stone-hearted girl nearby did possess such smarts and intelligence, she didn't have all aspects covered to longevity. “My advice would be to make some friends. You'll need someone in your corner. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow but some day. And don't worry, I don't expect it to be me,” Eve stated beating her to the punchline.

After this encounter it was more likely she'd acquire a special distaste for Evelyn.

Image "Well, I wouldn't wanna hurt your feelings and not say you, Mace; besides, I don't want to rule out anyone."
"Yeah because everyone knows how fragile and emotional I am," he muttered more to himself than her. Then he smiled to himself, half amused and half disappointed. He should have expected as much of a response.
"However, I'm more interested in hearing who your favourite is," she shot back.
"Oh, I hate everyone equally," he breezed. It felt good and weirdly therapeutic to get it out there even if it wasn't necessarily true. For the most part he didn't think much of anyone. There were a few standouts, fewer he loved, and few he loathed. Kalani couldn't expect a real answer from him either, just like she diverted hers. Part of Mason considered telling her though. Just as an ice breaker and to show he wasn't closed off. But picking favorites really was a tough pick.
"Do you feel jealous or possessive when your favorite is swept up in someone else?" he asked next. More to the point. Mason didn't have to try dance the tango with Kalani. He was genuinely curious when she was the object of desire if she were affected by such emotions.

When it became evident the game was losing its flare, he got to his feet with a sigh and offered Kalani a hand up. Once she was up, he gave her a small smile then offered a hand to Emery, seeing as most of her crew left her. Not that she wasn't independent but Emery would probably do the same for him. He gave a self-conscious look around seeing majority of campers travel off in pairs and groups. Mason cleared his throat. "Are you in need of an escort to your cabin?" He hadn't seen her drink so much but he wasn't exactly keeping a watchful eye on the daughter of Artemis either. "I was wondering too...I didn't really expect to see you there, so who'd you join for?" Mason smirked. "We all have that one special person our kiss compass points towards." Denying that would just be a flat out lie and while they weren't "besties" or anything, they were beyond lying. Not that he'd know the difference if she did namedrop. Mason hovered his hand by Emery to see how she held on her own. If nothing was required of him, he'd happily retire to his cabin for the night but if she wanted or needed brief company, then he'd provide that for whatever extension of time that took then retire to his cabin.

"Oh, I hate everyone equally," Ani rolls her eyes, she knew that many people would buy that when it came from the son of Hades, but Ani had no doubt in her mind that Mason was full of it. Maybe he wanted to seem brooding and mysterious, but she knew that he really wasn't all that hard to read. At least, she didn't think so. His next question, however, surprises Ani ever so slightly. She never expected Mason to be the kind of guy that danced around a subject, but Ani was also curious as to why he cared what she had to say in response, particularly because he 'hated everyone'.

"Do you feel jealous or possessive when your favorite is swept up in someone else?" Sure that his question to her was more a question for himself, Ani couldn't help but wonder who was Mason's object of affection - and who the person they were swept up in was. The only person that came to mind was Trinity, she had been chatting to him earlier in the night and then gone on to have a rather heated kiss with Theo. Plus, the last time she checked, Theo was rushing off after Trinity which certainly wouldn't play out in Mason's favour. The son of Artemis was particularly handsome and Ani knew that if Trinity gave him the time of day, he almost definitely would get her onside.

Trinity certainly seemed to be popular amongst the elder campers, speaking of which, Ani's mind drifts to her brother. Spotting him staring up at the stars, Kalani feels a pang of sadness seeing him alone, even if it was he who isolated himself. She couldn't stand the sight of those she loved not surrounded by happiness. Smiling up at Mason as he offers her a hand, she grabs it and jumps up, giving it a squeeze before she lets go. "For a self proclaimed dick, you're quite the gentleman." She retorts before finally getting to respond to his last question. "Oh and by the way, I've never had that happen to me," A lie, Ani had been madly in love with a man who barely acknowledged her existence before she came to camp plus it seemed like Lise had her sights set on just about anyone else but Ani, "I'm pretty good at getting what I want." She sends him a wink before turning on her heels and beginning to walk off. "See ya Mason," Ani calls back before catching Emery's eye, "Night Em." She didn't particularly know the girl all that well, but Ani was friendly with her enough to say goodbye - she didn't like to be rude.

Waltzing straight over to where Wes lay, Ani plops down next to him, moving her head until it's blocking his view of the sky and all he can see is her beaming grin. "Oi dopey," She teases, her spirits exceptionally high after their night of festivities, "I'm tired, walk back with me?" Since their cabins were next to each other, Ani was happy to head home with her brother. It was clear Wes had no real reason to hang around the party, so she gets up again, dusting the dirt off her skirt and grabbing his hand in an attempt to pull him up. Not that it worked, while neither of the Aphrodite kids were exceptionally strong, Wes clearly was far more muscular than Ani and so she could not pull her brother up for the life of her.

Letting out a huff, Ani waits for him to get up or tell her to piss off; she realised she was being a little annoying, but Ani really just wanted to lift her brother's spirits and so she was acting like a complete goofball in an attempt to get a laugh, or maybe even just a smile, out of him.

"I doubt I'll be missed until the morning. Besides," Ajax replied, then placed a kiss upon her temple. "They have Alex around still." Andy continued to move and sway along with him while his gaze scanned the party. "Let's go," he whispered in her ear, followed by a kiss upon her cheek. He then took her hand and started to lead her away from the party.

Before they disappeared beyond the tree line, Andy glanced back over her shoulder towards the party. She caught Trinity's gaze as she prepared to swim. Andy smiled raising her free hand to wave back towards her friend. Her gaze then fell to Mason, but he was emerged in conversation with some new girls at camp. She smiled softly, before allowing herself to be lead back towards the cabin.

As she walked holding onto Ajax's hand, she hadn't quite noticed until that moment how much the alcohol had affected her. For the most part she was fairly sound aside from the occasional trip ups that she quickly recovered from. She didn't realize until they were there, that Ajax had lead her back to his cabin instead of hers. But once inside, the thought was quickly wiped from her mind.

When the door closed, Ajax wasted no time in pushing her back against the door. Andy smiled up at him as he leaned in towards her, his hand gentle brushing the hair back from her face before he pressed his lips deeply and passionately against her own. She didn't know if it was the alcohol or the moment that clouded her judgement. Andy breathed heavily through her nose as their lips never parted. As Ajax's hands ran down her arms, taking her clothing along with it, her skin quickly covered in goose flesh. She broke the kiss, breathing heavily as she held his gaze. Her hands ran down his chest, until they reached his waist. Andy's fingers grabbed the hem of his shirt and pulled it up, over his head. Her nose brushed against his softly as her arms wrapped around him, moving to her tip toes before pressing her lips to his once again.

Andy was deep asleep, only awoken when Ajax's arms wrapped around her, pulling her back against his warm frame in a tender hug. Her hands moved to wrap around his arms that encircled her torso. "Morning, beautiful." She smiled, giving a content, tired moan, not yet wanting to open her eyes and face the morning. It had been the first night in months that she was able to sleep through the night without a dream of the Underworld or her brother's death robbing her of sleep. "Fancy some breakfast?"

She groaned slightly when Ajax left the bed, taking his warmth along with him. Andy brought the blankets in tighter to her. She nodded her head slightly, a soft smile gracing her lips. "That'd be nice," she mumbled quietly.

"You stay there, and I'll bring it up to you, babe. Scrambled eggs on toast okay?"

Andy slowly sat up, pushing off the bed. Her left hand holding the blankets to her chest as she stretched. She rubbed her eyes, nodding her head again with a yawn. "Sure, thanks." With a sigh, she brought her knees back to her chest, wrapping her arms around her legs as she looked over at Ajax, watching him get dressed. When he looked back towards her with a smile, she couldn't fight the slight blush that covered her own cheeks as she smiled back.

It took awhile from the cloudiness of sleep to unfog her mind as she sat there. But after a long moment, Andy began to realize she was in Ajax's cabin and not her own. Why did it take her so long to notice this? A sense of dread slowly over came her as she bit at her bottom lip, tightly shutting her eyes. She hoped maybe it was a different room, or her imagination playing tricks on her. But when she opened her eyes and looked around at the room, then the bed it was like a punch to the gut. She felt nauseous.

The minute Ajax left the room, Andy ripped the sheets off of her and climbed out of the bed. When she stood up, she stumbled slightly, bringing her hand to head. Of course she had a hang over. She sighed, taking a deep breath before searching his room for her clothes. As she found the different pieces, Andy quickly wiggled back into her clothing from the night before. She didn't waste her time with her stockings, cardigan or boots, instead scooping them in her arms before walking out of Ajax's room.

Andy felt the tears sting her eyes and she quickly descended the staircase. So focused on leaving, she missed one of the last steps, nearly falling before caught herself at the base of the staircase. When she reached the front door, her free hand reached out to grab the doorknob, but she froze. Her heart raced in her chest as she stared at the wooden surface before her. Stepping out that door, she'd have to make the walk of shame all the way back to her cabin. It wouldn't fool anyone as she carried half of her outfit from the night before in her hands, everything about her screaming the morning after. That's all she needed, rumors spread about her through camp.

The party had lost it's appeal for Wes, quickly getting absorbed in the view of the night's sky rather than watching more people kiss each other or whatever. He didn't want to get up and storm out of the party like a wounded puppy. But, it was definitely easier just not paying attention at all, rather than watching and pretending to be ok. His attention was so lost in his own thoughts, that he didn't hear someone approach. He jumped, nearly screaming when Kalani poked in her head in the line of his sight. "Oi dopey."

"Jesus!" His brows furrowed as he looked up at her. "I want a new sister, I demand a refund," Wes groaned as he rubbed his eyes.

"I'm tired, walk back with me?" Before Wes could give an answer or do anything, Kalani took his hand attempting to pull him to his feet. An amused grin covered his face as all of her effort didn't budge him an inch. If he wanted, he could have given his arm one quick tug and she would have been down on the ground in a blink. She finally huffed, seeming to give up.

"I kind of need that if you want me to get up?" Wes nodded his head towards his arm. Once she released his grip, he pushed off the ground and moved to his feet. He dusted off the sand from his clothes before he gave Ani a playful shove. "You're kind of annoying, you know that?"

He smiled towards her, motioning for her to come along as he slowly trudged towards the woods. Once Kalani was beside him, Wes draped his arm across her shoulders, walking in step with her as they headed to their cabins. He couldn't help but think about how short the party was. His gaze fell to the ground when he realized it was the first party they really had since the war. A lot of friendly faces not there to join in on the festivities, especially the camps number one partier, Daniel.

When they reached their cabins, Wes gave Ani a kiss on the top of the head followed by a hug. "Go get some sleep, weirdo. Not every day here is a party," he teased. "Chances are we'll be training. So, we'll need a good night's sleep to prepare to lose.... Horribly." He chuckled, waving towards her as he made his way up the steps to his cabin.

Wes was barely in his cabin and already kicking off his shoes, and tearing the beanie from his head. He used the heel of his foot to kick the door shut, then shuffled his way towards his bedroom. As he moved, he continued to strip different articles of clothing until he was down to his boxers. With one final yawn, he collapsed on his bed, and was out like a light in no time.

It seemed as though the party had died down in record time. Sylas sighed softly as he watched more and more people file off in groups, or better yet, pairs into the woods. He definitely noticed some interesting developments leave hand in hand, giggling. No doubt he knew there would some interesting walks of shame in the morning. He better remember to set an alarm, he wouldn't want to miss it. Especially... the most predominant couple that was one of the first to slip out for the night. None other than Ajax and Andy. What an amusing night indeed.

When Sylas' gaze drifted back to the spin the bottle game, he noticed that the circle had quickly dwindled to a poor connect the dots layout. He sighed, dusting dirt and sand off the thighs of his pants, preparing to leave. Just before he went to stand up, someone leaned down behind him. Sylas could feel the warmth of his breath tickle his ear. "See you around, Sylas," Mateo whispered.

Sylas glanced back over his shoulder with a mischievous grin. "Yes you will," he replied after the leaving male, while he didn't try to hide that he watched that ass move as Mateo walked away and disappeared into the woods. He ran his hand back through his hair, pushing off his knees as he stood up and left the nonexistent circle.

Dom gently reached out and took the book from her. After a moment of scanning the book, he gave Sloane a somewhat goofy smile, causing her to laugh slightly. "T-thank you. I promise I'll take good care of it. Or at least try not to give it frostbite again."

"Sure." Sloane's gaze followed Dom's as he looked at the dwindling party. She was somewhat relieved that it was ending fairly early. She wasn't in the mood to sit around at the beach until the early hours of the morning, although it was nice talking to someone who wasn't her brother. That hasn't happened since they came to camp. With a soft sigh, she hesitantly extended her hand towards his shoulder, allowing her palm to hover. "Do you mind?" she asked, before lightly resting her hand on him for support. Once stable, she slid her heels back onto her feet.

"I guess I better head back."

Sloane nodded her head. "Yeah, of course."

"It was lovely meeting you, hopefully we get to see each other again soon. I mean, I have to return the book so we'll have to- I guess it just depends on how long it takes me to read it." Sloane noticed he was rambling, but stood their patiently with a slight smile. Dom's cheeks started to flush before he stepped back and clutched the book to his chest. "I'll see you around," he added with a smile before disappearing abruptly like the first time they met.

"Bye," Sloane said softly towards him as he disappeared.

She adjusted the straps of her bag on her shoulders. As she went to head back to her cabin, she heard Sylas. "What in the hell was that?" Sloane tensed, and started towards her cabin, indifferent if her brother followed or not. But Sylas stayed in tow, his long legs not struggling to keep up. "I don't know who's more socially awkward... Him or you."

She sighed, rolling her eyes slightly. "Not everyone wants to pretend to be something they're not... Like you," Sloane replied, a sharp bite in her words.

Sylas stopped dead in his tracks, his hand quickly reaching out and grabbing Sloane's upper arm to stop her. "Watch what you say," he hissed as his gaze quickly checked the woods around them making sure no one overheard her. "We aren't here to make friends... If I go down, you go down with me."

"Oh yeah? Then what were you doing with Mateo Lopez?" With nothing more to say, Sloane yanked her arm free of her brother's grasp. She then quickly ascended the steps to her cabin, slamming the door behind her as she entered. With a sigh, she pivoted on her heels, locking the door.

Sloane made her way to her bedroom. She sat on her bed, removing her shoes and then placed them neatly in their place in her closet. She pulled her bag from her back, and opened it. For a brief moment she panicked, wondering if she left her book at the beach. Her interaction with her brother nearly erasing the memory of the conversation prior from her mind. She sighed with relief, remembering she lent it to Dom. She couldn't help but wonder what made her do that. Sloane had never been one to lend out anything of hers, especially books. She scratched her head before undressing and changing into her pajamas. She pulled down the covers and slid into bed. But, she wasn't tired. Instead she laid there on her side, staring out the window that showed hints of moonlight between the trees.
