Trinity loves to throw her body into battle, as such she has obtained multiple scars. Her body is an art of battles but you should see the other guys.

A p p e a r a n c e
Trinity has a smoldering intensity to her, her toned body and defined muscles always tense, expecting and aching for a fight. Her eyes meanwhile behold a fierce flare behind the dark blue irises she possesses. Even when she smiles and feels relaxed, her eyes still spark and are fueled with an insatiable fire. However, her long blonde hair, subtle natural tan, polished whites, and passionate blue eyes are not so repelling for a daughter of the God of War. She looks much more approachable and innocent at the surface, one may not think she was Ares daughter...if it weren't for her character.

Trinity is a highly competitive and energetic young woman. Not only with fights and spars, though she has an unhealthy love for them, but any challenge proposed and present. She just can't help herself, and the joy that may be accompanied in proving people wrong, which is quite the easy task as Ares' daughter with such a deceiving petite appearance. It's a kick she never gets sick of. Trinity is also, unsurprisingly prideful in herself, family and friends, so it is unlikely for her to refuse challenge or turn a blind eye to anything remotely insulting or degrading spoken of her or her loved ones. To be protective and fiercely loyal has always ran thick in her blood. But it's not just pride, it's about seizing opportunity, otherwise conforming to the fear of loss or failure and regret.

While she wants to argue she's not a "bloodhound", she can't, because she is. She lives for the thrill of battle, she has bloodlust in battle aiming to kill or brutalize, she sees people and she wonders how they'd handle in battle or how their abilities could be used in battle. Unfortunately, she is war orientated, it's just the reality. However violent she may be, you'll find she's a bit quirky too and has lots of enthusiasm to share and gets a bit animated on a range of topics.

Part of the quirkiness accounts towards never really having much friends on the playground so it's like the social aspect has been suppressed. It's easy to look at her as a blonde little monster or total tom boy but she believes a balance would be optimal. The balance of being half treated like a girl as well as a warrior. Of course this is something she'd never admit, in fear of perception of her being shifted completely. Admittedly, some of that fault lays with her since she wouldn't know flirting if it stared right at her, touched her arm and winked, and is unable to receive compliments well unless about her impeccable fighting skill. Along with some additional social oddities.

She's definitely somebody that keeps another person on their toes and loves a little tease and banter. As long as it's kept in light heart, you'll see she's not always hyper intense but quite playful.

H I S T O R Y

You could probably imagine the firecracker Trinity was from a young age. She had barbies like a normal girl but she used to make them fight and imitate wrestling moves and more often than not they would break and lose their plastic heads. And when her mum's personal trainer used to act out wrestling moves with her, throwing her around and dumping her on the couch, she absolutely loved it. There was no better excitement or louder giggly screech when she was a child. Then school happened and people were less endeared by how she played. Cops and Robbers would end in bruises and British Bulldog would end in tears. Trinity wasn't sure where it went wrong though, she wasn't a bully, just playing like the rest of them. Eventually, it got to that stage of calling her parents and that led to an intervention revealing the truth.

Ares visited Katrina and Trinity time-to-time, posing as a personal trainer primarily to make sure they were both in the shape he envisioned and fit enough to manage themselves in fights. Even with the one night stand and offspring complete, he still perceived them as his girls at risk of ruining his reputation. If they had become anything less: sluggish, lazy, unable to fight and defend themselves, Ares would probably send intruders to demonstrate their peak performance and the worth of his services. So, Ares was thorough they stayed in shape and strong willed and they always were. Needless to say, the posing as a PT who had laid with her mother and created Trinity was filled with tension, especially with Brian around but then for her brother Sam to even catch a whiff of the tension in the air. As years progressed, however Ares lessened his visits.

The next she saw of him was when she was 15 and Ares brought her to camp prematurely, because the sooner the better in his eyes, and she'd be better to test her true might with people that were and are, a little more sturdy. For years she's been attending the hazardous eventful camp and she's grown attached to it in a way. But she always juggled family as well and tried the likes of high school, although sitting in a classroom listening to math and literature explained couldn't grab her attention and her grades reflected that.

Last year the war came. Many lives were lost, a few people left camp and that was her first real war. But she still measured the success by defeating the enemies and the survivor's perseverance. She is probably the least haunted by the events of the war. Not to say it came without stress, because it was highly stressful and somebody she cared about lost a limb he didn't have to lose, and she lost a friend but.. Trinity looks forward. That's the consequence and reality of war.

Image Alex had never been to one single party before she came to Camp Athens. Their mother never allowed her to leave the house. Last years had been a blast, but this year was going to be different. Alex sat quietly as her brother took the chair across from her. "Are you okay?" He watched her as she managed to turn her attention to him. "..don't tell me it's nothing. When some of the campers left for the year, others stayed here. You didn't. You left me. Where did you go?"

Alex shook her head. "I'm fine. This isn't about when I left. Then, I just needed to be by myself."

"You know it's dangerous out there. Especially by yourself. Has Mason said something to you again? is that why you left?"
"No."
"Okay, so what's wrong now? Did someone else say something to you?"
"No!" she snapped.
"Al..."
Image "Just leave it alone, okay? Don't ask me any more questions." she stood up angrily. "Please." she added. It wasn't like her to shut him off without talking to him. He nodded once, his eyes looking down as he did. She gave him a glare before walking silently passed him. Maybe she shouldn't have come back to camp this year since everyone already thought she was a murderer. No one would possibly miss her, would they? Everything in her life had already turned upside down because of a stupid feud between two Gods. They just couldn't let things stay in the past.

Image He looked up, watching her head into her room. Hopefully, the party would make her feel better. Being around Duke and Wes always brought a smile to her face. Especially Duke. Oh, Ajax had noticed the way his little sister looked at his best friend. Was she acting like this because of him? Duke had recently found out about his little sister, and Alex had seen them together a couple of times without knowing who she is. Was she jealous? the corners of Ajax's lips began to lift upwards, forming a large smile as he looked away and hung his head. Laughing. He had never known her to be jealous, not even once, or she just managed to hide it well. Daniel had a new girl around him before he passed, but Alex didn't seem to batter an eye. He could go in there and tell her about Duke's sister, but maybe it would be way more entertaining for her to find out from Duke himself.

Ajax headed out the second he was dressed, but first grabbing his rucksack which sat near the front door. He decided to wear something casual: Party Outfit. As promised, he arrived a bit early with the music he had downloaded the night before on his computer. It was all taking place down near the beach again where a large campfire was sitting in the middle ready to be lit. Around it at a good safe distance sat four large log benches for everyone to chill out around the flames. The staff members were the ones hosting it all, so they were cooking on the BBQ tonight. They had containers filled with ice where the beer bottles chilled, and quite the buffet on a long table so people could help themselves to sandwiches, pizza, sausage rolls and every other party food displayed. The BBQ would be serving burgers and hot dogs with or without onions. A large variety for everyone to say the least.

Andy stood in front of her mirror, her fingers running over the field of purple and blue that plagued the left side of her ribcage. She sighed. Scrapes bruises and whatever else covered a majority her body from the neck down. She tested their tenderness with her fingertips, wincing slightly at the pressure on her side.

Andy had been spending all her time since the war breathing, eating and sleeping her training. It kept her mind busy, and focused. Regardless if they won the war, that couldn't be the end. Demigods always had a target on their heads, and she refused to have anyone taken from her like her brother was. But the training wasn't all beneficial... She was almost constantly covered in scrapes and bruises, and it was beginning to take a toll on her.

She rested her hands on the edge of the sink with a sigh. She wasn't wanting to go to this party, it wouldn't be the same. But, if she didn't go, she knew Trinity or Ajax would be at her door in no time. Andy's gaze drifted over her bruises once again before walking over to her closet. It took her nearly half of her wardrobe before finding an outfit that covered the purple marks on her skin perfectly.

Andy started to make her way out of her cabin, stopping in the doorway when she realized she forgot something. She hurried back inside, grabbing her locket. She put it over her head as she walked her way through the woods towards the bonfire. As she neared the sounds of music, seeing the warm glow between the tree, her gaze drifted to the beach where she saw a figure lingering away from the party that had barely started.

Instead of walking towards the party, she instead walked towards the beach. As Andy got closer, she noticed it was Mason. She stopped a few feet behind him, crossing her arms over her chest as she saw him light up. "If you die from lung cancer... I'll find a way into the underworld and kick your ass myself." She slowly stepped closer, crouching down behind him. Her hands moving to rest on his shoulders. She sighed softly, resting her chin on the top of his head. "They know we miss them, Mason."

Andy leaned forward, wrapping her arms around him in a gentle hug. "Plus, if they saw us being party poopers... They'll come back from the dead to drag us to the party themselves." She smiled softly, then quickly snagged away his cigarette and chucked it into the water. "Oops," she laughed before standing up. Andy then moved in front of him, holding out her hand. "Come on."

Wes took the empty right sleeve of his shirt and sweater, stuffing it inside the torso of his shirt. There isn't many ways to wear an empty sleeve of a shirt. Leave it dangling looks weird, so that's not an option. Knot the end... Or tuck it in. That's what he went with. He knew some of the new campers still start at him like he's fragile. Might as well just have it right in their face that he's only got one arm.

After wrapping a scarf around his neck and putting on a beanie, Wes checked his appearance in the mirror one last time. He looked alright, that was good enough. He contemplated a leather jacket, but he hasn't had the heart to cut off the right sleeves just yet. It's too soon, and his jackets are good leather. He adjusted his beanie and scarf over and over. Wes couldn't put a finger on why the party made him nervous. He'd been to multiple since he came to camp. It had nothing to with his arm, or the new campers.

Wes sighed, smiling at his own stupidity. It was Trinity. It always was Trinity. He pursed his lips, heading out of his cabin before he second guessed his appearance again. His left hand was tucked in his jean pocket as she trudged his way through the trees. Before he realized it, he wasn't at the party but at the bottom of the stairs leading up to Trinity's cabin. He thought about leaving. But what if she saw him? He could just run into her at the party... Or, just walk there with her.

He probably pivoted back and forth like four times before forcing himself to walk up the steps. Wes knocked on the door. "Hey Trin, how about escorting a one-armed loser to a party? For old times sake." He leaned against the door frame, waiting patiently.

Sloane sat in the window seat, turning the page in her book to a new chapter. It was then that she heard the door to her cabin open without a knock. She sighed, knowing full well that it was Sylas and his lack for personal space. Instead of getting up to meet him or anything else, she kept her gaze on her book. She's much rather continue to read about the Trojan War rather than deal with her brother.

"Why won't you just stay in a cabin with me?" Sylas asked, propping himself in her doorway.

Sloane sighed, turning the page but not even sparing him a look. "Because we're not five."

Sylas sighed, slipping his hands into the pockets of his pants. "You going to this party..."

"Is that a question or a demand?" Sloane closed her book, holding her place with her index finger.

"Does it matter?" He stared at her, waiting for an answer. Sylas tapped his knuckles against the wall.

Sloane sighed, patting her book against her lap. "No."

Sylas walked over to Sloane, taking the book from her lap. He looked over the cover with a scoff, tossing it backwards onto her bed. "We've been here how long? And you've done nothing." Sloane pursed her lips, crossing her arms over her lap finally looking towards her brother.

"You're going." Sylas reaches his hand out, brushing away a loose lock of hair. "I have some prospects that need your... special touch. So, I will see you there." He leans forward, pressing his lips to Sloane's forehead. "Wear something nice. You need to turn heads." With that, Sylas stood up and made his way out of her cabin.

He strutted his way down the paths towards the beach. Sylas was in no particular hurry, instead watching the other campers run and scurry around him towards the party. He watched them all intently, taking in their emotions, making a list. Who was worth his time, who wasn't... The camp was like his own little toy box with so many things at his disposal, it was hard for him to choose want to pursue first. A party is the best place to start slowly extending his tendrils out, testing the waters and starting his work... Especially with Sloane there.

Sylas finally reached the beach, looking around at the small group of campers that have already began congregating around the bonfire. Not many, but he was early. He made his way over to the food and drinks, grabbing himself a beer. He popped it open, taking a drink as he watched others arrive. This was going to be fun.

Image

Sloane paced around her room for the better part of ten minutes trying to decide if it was really worth the effort, going to this dumb party. She wasn't a partier by any means. And honestly, a party was the last place she wanted to be. But if she knew Sylas, and she did, he'd show up at her door the second he realized she wasn't going there. Which would only make her life more complicated than trying to be invisible around a bunch of immature demigods.

She pinched the bridge of her nose, with a sigh. Sloane threw open the doors to her closet, fingering through her clothes. Wear something nice. She scoffed to herself, pulling out the first outfit she found. It didn't take her long to get dressed, hoping that what she was wearing would help be ignored rather than draw attention to herself. Before leaving her cabin, she grabbed her book from her bed, sighing when she noticed that Sylas folded some of the pages. She cursed under her breath, slipping it into her bag.

Sloane, checked her reflection one last time before heading out her front door and down the steps. She adjusted her bag on her shoulder as she walked slowly towards the beach. She was in no rush to get there, and wouldn't mind if it took her the whole night to walk there. So, instead of rushing to please her brother, she pulled out her book, picking up where she left off, reading while she walked.

Her legs were locked around a sturdy branch and she engaged her core to pull herself up while biting down on the hem of her overflowing top. “Twenty-nine” she muffled aloud, “…thirty.” She pulled herself up enough to grab a hold of the branch to balance herself as she sat on the thick limb of the tree. Trinity knew well she could do more, but a party did await her and several others of camp. And what she was wearing was her party gear for the night.

From where she was situated she could see the glow of the fire on the beach. The little antisocial voice in her brain said it wasn't worth it, that instead she should choose to keep working out. Blow off that never-ending steam. Steer clear of the inevitable drunken drama. Steer clear of stupid games that accompany parties.

But it was rare for her friends to be in the same place for an extended amount of time. Parties weren't all awful either. They were a good unwind source. It was at the beach which she always loved and they could be amusing.

Trinity jumped down from the tree with a gentle thud and made her way to her cabin. She pulled herself to a halt spotting a figure pacing back and forth, doing sharp turns like arguing with themselves near her cabin. Trinity soon got the full image and smiled, leaning against a tree until Wes had decided on whatever it is he was going to do. After all, who was she to interrupt a mind train no matter how frantic. He finally approached her cabin and knocked on the door. "Hey Trin, how about escorting a one-armed loser to a party? For old times sake."
Trinity approached her porch and Wes's back. “Just for old time's sake I guess. Because you know, I don't actually like your company.” She stepped up to Wes and held out her top. “Does that smell?” She had a pre-prepared cringe on her face like his head would jerk back. But she decided against changing outfits no matter what. Trinity swung open her cabin door and strolled on in, waving him in with a hand behind her back. “You got your boardies? Board shorts?” Trinity cackled to herself. Under those jeans Wes wore, she doubted it.

She walked into her room and did a quick strip and change so her bathers were underneath instead then returned to Wes with a warm smile. “Now we can go.”

After what probably passed as a couple of seconds walking Wes, Trinity chuckled to herself. “You know, we can make you a non-loser. All you'd have to do is beat me in an arm wrestle.” Trinity was always nagging for a little round with Wes. After all, in their first meeting he'd been keen to wrestle with her but hadn't followed up since. “I remember, you specifically said, 'I'd wrestle with you any day'
, she argued. Even though something was a little off course when he said it, he had thousand percent said it.

Harleen was making her way to the beach party that she was pretty excited for. Up until now it felt everything had kind of been mechanical and people forced themselves to behave certain ways, but with a party it kinda presented that opportunity to show a few more colors. How people handled their liquor for one, who was the impulsive drinkers, what kind of drunks they were and how they behaved in a more liberating environment and event.

She rolled up her sleeves as she paced and wiped down her bare arm to pull her less than stylish five nights at freddy's and co bracelets back down to her wrist. Personally, she made herself chuckle looking at them, the fashion choice like a design of a shameless ten year old.

The bonfire was a delight to set sights on and she practically leaped over to the drinks. “'Scuse me, Sylas,” she said. Not that he was in the way but he was near enough to the cold containers. She plucked herself a beer then hesitated looking back in the lucky dip of drinks. Was it a BYO thing if you wanted more range or what? Harleen looked around to the others, tossed the beer bottle to herself and caught it. She gave a cheers motion to Sylas then wandered off.

Harley's eyes scanned the people in current attendance and she rehearsed their names silently. Even if she hadn't interacted with them personally, their name had been uttered at least once or twice by another camp mate. She smiled smugly when all their names had been said in her head and she knew she was right.

For now things were pretty tame. But once everybody felt more of that buzz, she was sure things would really kick into party mode and fun.

Evelyn must have stood near the beach merely contemplating joining for at least five minutes. But indecisiveness was not a great trait or good look on Evelyn. She closed her eyes and started towards the fire. Like some, she made her way towards the food and served herself up some dinner. Then she paused again turning around to see where to sit. It felt like high school and she was the outcast of outcasts, unsure of where she belonged.

A big man had already reserved himself a log and started shoveling food into his mouth. With him, perhaps she wouldn't be bothered and they looked to share a certain objective. The objective being to eat in peace before the alcohol took its effects and things got rowdy and soap opera like. “Would you mind if I sat here?” she asked, standing above him and gesturing to a vacant space nearby him. Of course she'd at least sit two body lengths away from him since she didn't know him and he looked a man that chose to eat alone.

He looked up at her with his brows pinched together then he swallowed his mouthful of food and pointed with his fork to the space. “No, go right ahead,” he said, which Evelyn was grateful for. Not just in his response but that he had swallowed his food before replying to her.

Common courtesy was a dying attribute. “Thank you.” Evelyn smiled politely and sat down where promised. She ate at a leisurely pace, feeling no obligation to fill the silence with chatter or wolfing down her food.

"You know, you're lucky I like you. And if any environmentalist tries to have a go why there's a cigarette in the water, I'm throwing you under the bus."

"Don't think I won't drag you down with me," Andy said, pointing her index finger at him accusingly. She slipped her hands into her pockets as they walked towards the main hub of the party.

"I was here earlier than you, on the beach, everyone's seen my face or back at least, doesn't that count as attendance?"

"Of course it does," Andy mused, playfully bumping her shoulder against Mason's. "But, if I have to struggle through this party... So, do you."

Andy sighed softly as they got closer to the fire, glancing at all the faces familiar and new. Her gaze drifted over towards Mason, witnessing a menacing smirk on his lips. She did a double take before he spoke. "What game is it going to be tonight? Another truth or dare? Spin the bottle?" He then started shimming his shoulders.

Andy laughs, raising her hands to cover her mouth as she watches him. "I think I'm going to stay away from the whole game situation." She didn't know if she could handle another game of truth or dare. Not that it was bad last year. She could do any dare people wanted, but she wasn't feeling the need to be utterly truthful. And spin the bottle isn't a game for someone in a relationship... Not if she wanted to keep it anyways.

It seemed that Mason's whole playful demeanor faded almost instantly. Andy's gaze followed his, which was focused on Ajax. She sighed softly, glancing down at her feet. She wasn't going to say anything. Mason had every reason to hate Ajax, especially Alex. A bump from his shoulder got her attention, causing Andy to look over at him. "I'll behave and stay right here. You know, if you want to be a real girl and talk and socialize."

Andy smiled slightly. "When have I ever been a real girl?" She raised a hand up to scratch her head, before running her fingers through her hair. "But I do need a drink," she said, tapping her nose with her index finger and then pointed towards the drinks. "You should socialize... You might make more friends." She bumped him with her hip before heading towards the bar. "Just don't forget who your best friend is," Andy teased, calling back towards him over her shoulder.

As she walked towards the bar, Andy conjured a shot in her right hand. She downed it as she made her way around the fire. She didn't want to interrupt the conversations, so moved to stand behind Ajax. Andy grabbed herself a beer, popping it open and taking a drink. She overheard Ajax talking to Emery. As he talked to her, Andy made funny faces, playfully mocking him towards Emery while he couldn't see.

Wes quickly pivoted around when he heard someone coming up the porch. “Just for old time's sake I guess. Because you know, I don't actually like your company.” He chuckled, and as he leaned in to kiss her cheek he was met by her shirt. “Does that smell?” Wes held his breath instead of attempting to not cringe at Trinity's sweaty shirt. She then opened the door, waving him into her cabin.

"I don't know... Shoving a ripe sweaty shirt in a guy's face is a quick way to show you don't like his company," Wes teased as he slowly entered her cabin.

“You got your boardies? Board shorts?” she asked him before disappearing back into her room.

Wes looked down at his legs, then back towards her bedroom door. "Didn't know I was going to be thrown into the ocean." He chuckled, tugging at his jeans slightly. "I have boxers on if the need to swim is aroused."

After a moment or two, Trinity came back out and smiled towards him. Wes couldn't help but smile back. She was beautiful just the way she was. Not like how the other girls tried to always look nice, but in her own element. He liked her just the way she was, true authentic Trinity. “Now we can go.”

Wes held the door open for her, before following her down the porch. As they started walking, he draped his left arm over her shoulders. He wasn't in any rush to get to the party. Not that he doesn't like parties but he also liked the time just with Trinity. Call him selfish, but it's true.

“You know, we can make you a non-loser. All you'd have to do is beat me in an arm wrestle.”

"Oh man, Ken Doll has been upgraded to loser." Wes chuckled, lightly bumping his hip against Trinity. "I don't know if the nicknames could get much better than that."

“I remember, you specifically said, 'I'd wrestle with you any day'

Wes sighed softly as he let out a weak laugh. "Pretty sure that was old asshole Wes who said that." He raised his hand a little, playfully flexing it before letting it relax against her shoulder again. "Could you handle all of this? This arm has been doing the work of two arms for quite sometime now. I may not be a fighter, but I do have some muscles."

The music from the party could be heard as they near the beach. He looked down at Trinity, smiling slightly. "I'll make you a deal. I'll arm wrestle you, and if I win... You go on a real official date with me." Wes smiled, nudging her. "And if you win...?

Sloane walked slowly, very slowly towards the beach. Maybe if she was lucky enough, by the time she reached the beach, the party would be over. Most of the other campers were rushing towards the party, bobbing and weaving around her like she was just some tree in their way. That was fine by her. She'd rather be invisible than have them actually try to socialize with her. She turned the page in her book only to have someone bump into the back of her, causing her to drop her book.

Sloane steadied herself so she also didn't fall over. She slowly turned around, glancing over her shoulder towards whomever bumped into her. Domonik Einarsson. She had seen him around, and he was about as social as she is. She was half surprised the guy didn't trip over her. He was tall, very tall. Being as short as she is, someone that tall could hurdle her. Sloane noticed that he was handsome in an unusual way. Like the kind of way most people wouldn't notice, especially because of his parentage... And the fact that he was staring.

She didn't know what to say or do. Sloane brushed a strand of hair behind her ear before leaning down to pick up her book. But, Dom beat her to it, quickly snatching her book up from the ground. He then shoved the book towards her. "erhm here" Her brow raised slightly when his hand brushed hers. His skin icy cold. Not in an uncomfortable or alarming way, but almost in a odd familiar way.

When she looked back up, Dominik was gone, hightailing it towards the beach. Sloane stood there dumfounded. When her gaze fell back down to the book in her hands, she noticed the cover was slightly frozen. She lightly ran the tips of her fingers along the ice. She sighed, adjusting her bag on her shoulder before she continued towards the beach.

As Sloane stepped out from the tree line, she felt the strong urge to immediately turn around and head back to her cabin. Her fingers absent-mindedly chipped away at the ice on the cover of her book as she scanned the crowd of people. She weaved her way between people, looking for somewhere to sit that would opt for minimal human contact. But before she made it out of the crowd, someone snatched her book from her hands.

Sloane went to reach out and take her book back, but froze when she saw it was Sylas. He pursed his lips, looking over the frozen cover. "What happened here?"

She held out her hand. "Give it back."

"Ice?" He turned the book over, studying it. Sylas looked up, scanning the party until his gaze fell to the two Khione kids. His brow quirked as he held the book back out towards her. As Sloane reached out to grab it, Sylas took a step towards her, lowering his voice. "They're powerful. Useful with the right... Leverage." Sloane snatched the book away from him. She went to walk past Sylas, but he stopped her by grabbing her arm. "Take care of that."

Sloane shoved past her brother, holding her book tightly to her chest. She made her way to the edge of the water, stopping a few feet away from the current. She sighed, removing her bag from her shoulder and taking a seat on the soft sand. She reached down, unbuckling her shoes, pulling them off. Her toes wiggled their way into the sand, as she picked off the last bit of ice from her book.

“'Scuse me, Sylas,” Harley said as she moved around him for a drink. After she got her drink, she gave him a silent cheers which Sylas raised his beer in a similar fashion to. He propped himself against the bar, taking a long drink of his beer, watching everyone move about throughout the party. His gaze continually finding its way back to his sister that made no attempt to mingle at all.

Sylas sighed, drinking the remainder of his beer. He never understood his sister's reluctance to do when their mother trained her to do. One thing that their mother told them never to do, was use their abilities against each other. If that wasn't the case, Sylas couldn't guarantee that he wouldn't persuade her. Eventually, she'd realize that its blood first and when that day came, he'd be waiting. Until then, just like he watched others, he also paid equal attention to Sloane.... Just waiting for the right leverage.

His attention was pulled towards the group near the bar when he heard Theo mention thoughts. Sylas smiled, walking over towards him. He patted Theo on the right shoulder. "Hey man, did I hear something about shots?" He nodded his head in greetings towards the others standing by the bar.

Sylas stood there quietly, listening as Ajax asked Emery about her thoughts in regards to camp. Home? hilarious. He'd feel more at home in a broom closet than at camp. But he didn't show that on his face, just smiling and nodding his head. He couldn't help but chuckle as he saw Andy teasingly mocking Ajax behind his back.

"Oh man, Ken Doll has been upgraded to loser. I don't know if the nicknames could get much better than that."

She grinned wickedly as he gave a playful bump. Oh she was always packed with nicknames for Wes but loser was super temporary.

"Pretty sure that was old asshole Wes who said that," he replied. Before she could open her mouth to object that there were separate Wesley's, he humored the idea. "Could you handle all of this? This arm has been doing the work of two arms for quite sometime now. I may not be a fighter, but I do have some muscles."

She smiled barely able to repress a playful roll of her eyes. “I'm aware of the swell in your arm, Ken. I pick my targets you know and I do like a little challenge.”

"I'll make you a deal. I'll arm wrestle you, and if I win... You go on a real official date with me." The words almost brought her to a complete halt but she settled on slowing her pace. "And if you win...?"

“An official date,” she echoed. For some reason the concept held a heavy weight. Probably because she didn't date in the history of ever and her mind raced way ahead of time, at awkward family dinners, comparing her to his flawless ex. “Sounds serious.” She was able to snap out of her little nightmare and purse her lips. “If I win, you be my slave for 24 hours. I know, bit of a lack of imagination on my part,” she admitted with a tut. “But it's flexible for me.”

It felt like she had laid a foot at the bonfire when that one voice rang above the rest. "Spin the bottle anyone?"

Trinity side glanced to Wes. A game right in his domain and more than half the campers would be upset if the Son of Aphrodite didn't play. Most eligible bachelor not playing spin the bottle. In what world did that make sense. Trinity lifted his arm off her shoulder gently. “You can go teach the freshies how it's done.” It would be good for everyone to just sink into their comfort zones again, you know, Aphrodites children loving and kissing, encouraging that party spirit and games, and Ares children fighting. Trinity not caring who he meshed lips with. “Who knows, you might end up on Alex,” she dropped casually with a shrug. She didn't even feel bitter or cold when she said it. “Lots of, uh, you know...'cuties' this year.”

Trinity sucked in a breath doing her own double-take. Did she just refer to the new batch of demigods as cuties? Oh well. Trinity snatched a drink from the cooler not caring what foresaken flavor or type it was. But when she did see beer, her stomach and head flooded with disappointment and a pinch of anger for the lack of variety. Trinity didn't know where she left Wes in her pace off for a drink and escape, but she felt she had to keep moving with purpose.

She saw the spunky figure of Harleen, thankfully on her own and sat herself beside her. “Harley,” she greeted.

Harleen was doing the rounds with her eyes when they landed on Raven. She gave a nod of acknowledgement to her before Raven gained some company. Harley would have to express at a later time that she was glad she came.

“Harley.” Some tight leggings and grey shirt came into view, then the face followed.

“Puddin'.” Harley grinned wickedly and even gave a sparkling wink. Jokes aside, Trinity had a way of exciting Harley. It was like she never knew what she was going to get or what would happen. The two both had competitive and daring bones so it was a compelling and energetic mix. To Harley anyway. She shuffled a little closer to Trinity like she had a secret to share, her eyes downcast on their shoes. “Dare or dare?” She turned to face the fiery blonde with another grin.

Trinity shook her head slowly with a hint of a smile. “Nope. I know how that story goes.”

Harley did a pout to the quality of dramatic arts. Expectedly, an exaggerated sad face meant nothing to the camp's warrior's queen so Harley began a quiet build-up of the chicken dance, the imitation getting bigger and louder until Trinity would resort to change her mind.

A gentle elbow to her side confirmed her master plan had worked. “Shush. Fine. What am I doing?”

“Well, as tempted as I am to dare you to join the bottle of lip-locking, I won't do that.” Harley stroked her non existent mustache, pondering what could be amusing for her, and challenging for Trinity. “I would like to see you flirt. You know, really try. Or be as charming as you can be.”

“I am charming!” Trinity protested. Harley noticed the first beer had been knocked back quickly, Trinity now twisting an empty bottle to stand in the sand. “I can be anyway. You know, Wes likes my company, for whatever reason. Theo once liked me. We were like...” she twisted her index and middle finger around each other.

“Why doesn't he like you anymore?” Harley asked, concerned.

“More charming people entered camp.” She laughed.

“Oh, Trinity, that's not like...” Harley broke off with a smile and sighed out softly. That was one of Trinity's endearing traits. Not really reading and responding to signals. “I think he used to really, really like you. Now he's looking for someone else.”

Trinity's lips were paused agape and her eyebrows furrowed. “Ooohh. Damn.”

“So are you going to play charming or dance with anybody of your choosing.” Since she was a good friend she was just throwing some options out there.

"How is camp treating you so far? what do you think of the bonfire? If you've got a favorite song Ajax might have it on his playlist."

“Same as it is everybody else,” she observed towards his first question. “I think it's like a bonfire should be,” she noted secondly. It had the fire, it had the food and booze, the young attendants so it was standard. Thirdly, she looked towards the renowned son of Zeus and the other campers that gravitated towards him. Even if she did have a song request, she wouldn't want to risk hurting their bubble wrapped ego, nor approach the number of people he reeled in. “Somehow I don't think so,” she remarked simply.

"Have you met my sister?" he asked next as if he could read the chances of her approaching Ajax and that congregation of people.

Evelyn followed to whom he spoke, and a smile crept across her lips. The youngest and most sour demigod among them, ironically. “As delightful as she looks, no, I haven't.” She was going to leave it as that but in the spirit of socialization and parties and honesty, and considering she was half-blood and sister. “However, she's on my list. I think those that are more...rough have endured a lot.” Evelyn partly wished she could go up to the girl take her hands and grant her a different perception of the people in the world or turn her luck around, but that wouldn't work out so well. Firstly the physical contact, and second changing perceptions was not possible.

“McKenna and Duke, right?” Evelyn's finger swayed between the two. “I'm Evelyn. You can call me Eve if you're compelled to.” She held out her a hand for a shake.

"What?" Ajax said before turning around to be faced by Andy teasing him. She couldn't help but get a cheeky grin, giggling. "You're lucky you are cute." His hand raised so that his thumb stroked her cheek. Andy leaned her head into his touch slightly.

When Ajax's gaze shifted over to Mason, Andy tried her best not to sigh and pull away. Instead, finishing off her beer. She was exhausted of the feud between her best friend and her boyfriend. She understood both sides of their animosity, but that didn't make it any easier for her being in the middle. Her gaze was drawn back to Ajax when he began speaking. "Will you be playing spin the bottle?"

Andy's gaze drifted over towards the growing group of campers, getting ready to play spin the bottle. She raised her right hand to scratch her head. "I won't stop you if you want to." Andy quirked her brow towards him, before looking back towards the crowd. She couldn't help but get a slight uneasy feeling when she saw one of the campers practically fawning over Mason. All she hoped was that those girls watch themselves, because if they hurt her best friend, she'd crack some skulls.

She cleared her throat, smiling up to Ajax. "Don't think I'm in the mood to smack lips with half of the camp tonight." Andy made her way around the bar, pouring herself one of the shots Theo was handing out. She shot the Artemis son a wink, before looking back towards Ajax. "Out of all the parties I've been to since I came to camp, I don't think I've actually enjoyed one of them." With that, she downed the shot, slamming the glass down on the bar. "So, I'm going to enjoy myself."

With that, Andy grabbed herself a fresh beer and popped the cap. "But if you wanna play, go for it." Was that the truth? Not really. The idea of other girls or guys kissing on Ajax was the last thought she wanted on her mind. But, she wasn't the type to tell anyone what they should or shouldn't do, regardless of how she feels about it. Andy walked over to Ajax, moving to her tip toes, placing a tender kiss on his cheek while patting his chest.

Drink in hand, Andy made her way towards a group of campers that were dancing near the music. As she got closer, she took a drink and started to sway her hips. She melted her way into the group, dancing and swaying with them.

Trinity nearly stopped walking all together at the comment of a date. “An official date.” Well this wasn't the response that Wes wanted. His gaze fell to his feet. “Sounds serious.” He laughed weakly, clicking his tongue in his mouth. “If I win, you be my slave for 24 hours. I know, bit of a lack of imagination on my part. But it's flexible for me.”

Wes nodded his head, agreeing to the terms. "Alright. You're on, tomorrow... We arm wrestle."

"Spin the bottle anyone?"

“You can go teach the freshies how it's done.”

Wes' brows furrowed as he looked down at Trinity. He let his arm slowly fall from her shoulders, slipping his hand back into his pocket. "I think I'm ok. Plus, I don't want it to land on my sister... That's gross."

“Who knows, you might end up on Alex." Ouch. His jaw clenched tightly. Was she still holding a grudge about last years bonfire? He didn't say anything, or let his facial expression show. Instead, remaining quiet. “Lots of, uh, you know...'cuties' this year.”

Wes was left standing there kind of dumbfounded as Trinity disappeared into the party. He sighed, rubbing the back of his head. For being the son of Aphrodite, women confused the hell out of him. The fiery blonde seemed to blow so hot and cold with him, that he didn't know what to do. He couldn't help but wonder if their kiss at the end of last year was out of pity or sympathy for is injury, instead of feelings. He sighed, trying not to think about it.

He wasn't in the mood to sit in a circle and kiss a bunch of people, and Trinity was at the bar with Harley. So, Wes walked over to the snack table, grabbing a marshmallow and a stick. He then walked over towards the bonfire, sitting down on a log and got to toasting.

Sloane overheard the cheers and gathering campers preparing to play spin the bottle. She had to fight the urge not to gag at the thought. Such a dumb, pointless game that high schoolers and horny teenagers took place in. She never understood the appeal in having to kiss a random person because the bottle just happened to land on them. Sounds like a quick way to cause drama... or get the flu. Either way, she was going to stay where she was.

She had just started to get engrossed in her book once again, when she heard footsteps approaching, a little too close for comfort. Sloane looked up from her book, just then realizing she was sitting a dozen or so feet away from the guy who froze her book. But her view was quickly cut off by some evident Aphrodite daughter. What was it with Aphrodite kids and their need to go after people who wanted absolutely nothing to do with them.

"Hey there, I thought you could use one of these." The girl held out a drink towards Dom.

"No."

Sloane closed the book, holding the place with her finger. She leaned forward, peaking around the girls legs to gauge Dom's expression. When he looked away, she figured the girl would have walked away. But apparently, not.

"What? No? I don't get a thank you at least?" Sloane's gaze didn't waver when Dom gave his best resting bitch face towards the girl. "Nothing? Alright. Fine. Might as well take the drink then."

The girl went to throw the drink at him, which Sloane thought was a bit dramatic. She was half tempted to chuck her book at the back of the girl's head. That's what she would have done if a guy was treating her the way that dumb girl was treating Dom. Some people just like their alone time... How hard is that for people to understand. But before the drink could get on Dom, he froze the liquid as it hit the sand.

The whole situation obviously startled the girl. She took a step back, and Sloane's gaze fell to the girl's shoe when she heard a snap, losing her heel in the sand. Stupid mistake, most women know to put all their weight on their toes when wearing stilettos in sand and grass. But, she didn't expect the girl to completely lose her balance. Sloane squealed softly, scooting over to avoid being squished. She held up her book like it was the only thing to defend herself from collapsing Aphrodite girl.

Sloane chuckled softly, a slight curve of her mouth into a smirk as the girl limp-stomped her way over towards the party. Her gaze slowly drifted back over towards Dom, her gaze widening slightly and cheeks flushing when she made eye contact with him. She bit on her lip, opening her book back up. She wasn't able to read another sentence, before the water's current seemed to raise. It caught her attention when the cold water reached her feet. Sloane gasped, grabbing her heels in her left hand, scooting back in the sand, trying not to get wet.

"Yeah man. Straight whiskey. I'll take another round if you want a couple." Theo poured him and Sylas two shots each. Sylas smiled, reaching out to grab his shots, but before he grabbed a hold of them, another hand showed up, snagging one of them.

Sylas gaze drifted towards a very attractive man. He didn't even bother arguing when the brunette took the shot, downing it quickly while keeping intent eye contact with him. "Thanks," he said, setting the shot glass down before giving Sylas a wink.

Instead of following after him right away, Sylas leaned against the bar, watching him walk away. And was it a nice sight to see. He looked over towards Theo with a grin. "Well, I guess that's my invitation to spin the bottle." He lightly nudged Theo with his elbow. Sylas pushed off the bar and started towards the growing circle of people. "You should join... Who knows, you might get to kiss me." Sylas teased with a teasing wink.

Before joining the party, he couldn't help but sense some of the awkward animosity burrowed deep with the Hecate daughter. He didn't have to try to hard to sense it involved Mason and Ajax. He tried not to smirk out of amusement as he started to work his magic. Slowly, very slowly, he let the slightest hint of envy and jealous ooze out towards the three. Just a nudge. If he did it too quickly, it'd be evident and they'd know that it wasn't themselves. But the slow burn is almost like the effects of alcohol, unnoticeable until it's too far.

Sylas slid his hands into his pockets, slowly striding towards the spin the bottle game. Instead of seeming too overly eager or anything else, he took a spot in the circle almost directly across from the guy who stole his shot. He sat down, but couldn't help his gaze from lingering back towards the male on multiple occasions. This game was the perfect opportunity to observe... And slowly poison others with negative emotions. This was going to be fun.

“I couldn't even be cute with Brian and my mum when I wanted something."

Harley merely shrugged in response. She didn't care in the slightest for Trinity's adversaries. In fact, with her eyes narrowing into a suspicious slint, she was sure it was all the more fun for Harley.

Trinity pressed her tongue to her cheek processing the new information and options. In spin the bottle there was only a chance of having to kiss somebody, but in dares, there was only lunacy and a really bad charades game. Realistically she was probably one of the least charming on camp, and she refused to even mock a stereotypical popular girl from the movies. Dancing, likewise, there was a chance no one would see but she wasn't drinking enough to hit it solo or be that committed to the beat.Trinity spotted Andy dancing then and a small glint of hope dared to rise so much so that she mentally fist pumped, however, Ajax joined and she immediately wanted to melt. She wasn't third wheeling in a million years.

“Shit,” she muttered, her fists turning to anxious balls while her thumb stroked her fingers. “I choose the bottle of lip locking,” she stated abruptly and shot up to her feet before she could think better of it. Trinity inhaled deeply then shook the nerves away and paced for another beer then towards the circle for the vacancy near Alex.

As it turned out, Alex left the circle as Trinity approached and she tried not to roll her eyes at her damn luck or take it personally, because it couldn't have been. Thankfully, there was a back-up and she shuffled over to Mason instead. Affection was not her strong suit. Trinity's eyes burned into the glass but the bottle regrettably wasn't a telepath. If it were, it'd not land on her until she had a few more beers at least.

Her eyes flickered to Mason who gave a small but smug smile. It took a surprising amount of restrain not to flip him off, tackle him or throw an elbow into his ribs. But it also took restraint not to look over her shoulder and check where Wes was seeing as he wasn’t in the circle. But she had nothing to worry about because the bottle wouldn’t land on her.

“What brings you to this fine game?” Trinity smiled tightly. Not to be mistaken for a dislike for Mason, but the game. Then things slowly started to click. “Oh for fu-” Trinity bit her lip tightly. “I'm not interfering with something here too am I?”

Image Adrianna caught his eye and he rolled his eyes playfully. He was sure it wouldn't be too bad, wherever the bottle may land and where it wasn't too bad it could only be better. So yes, he joined to get lucky and help lose those inhibitions.

"Mason, I didn't realise you were a seasoned pro," Kalani replied and he shrugged with a smirk.

However, seeing Alex join, Mason regretted it instantly. It could be the worse and he didn't care about the damn party or game, he wasn't going near her. Behind Alex was an equally as bad sight, Ajax and Andy having a little heat-fest. Golden boy always did get what he wanted.

Observing outside the game, he missed Kalani's and Annie's kiss, he only saw Kalani return to her seat, but he figured it must have been brief because he wasn't looking for that long. He opened his mouth to consider arguing its eligibility, but he didn't want to have to french someone he'd rather not, all to make a point. And Annie definitely seemed a delicate girl to be light with.

The daughter of Zeus was so restless, she couldn't even sit there long enough to wait for her turn before demanding a turn after Lise's spin. Mason scoffed. Everybody had to bend the rules for "queen Alex" as usual, or so she expected.

His attention shifted to Trinity and he was as surprised to see her at this circle more than she was him. He had to do a double-take.
“What brings you to this fine game?” she asked.
"The chance of kissing any one of my fine looking camp acquaintances."
“Oh for fu-” Mason's eyes widened a little at the burst and how firmly she bit her own lip. If it had been a moment longer he was convinced she'd draw blood. “I'm not interfering with something here too am I?”
"Trinity, there's always room for you," he promised her lowly. "You're my number one girl and I wouldn't replace you, not like others do." Mason placed his hand over hers in the sand. It might have made him lose some of his appeal and reputation with Lockwood, but he promised himself last year that he couldn't lose Trinity. He wouldn't.

All around the warrior princess was losing people, not in death but life which was worse. Mason looked over his shoulder to Alex and Wes pointedly. "You and me, we got to look out for each other and I mean that," he whispered leaning towards her. "Andy's a good girl, we both like her and count her as a friend but if we were dying in the field of battle, she'd choose Ajax. Love of her life. Ajax would sooner let you bleed out too. No one is gonna pick us. Not your brother, Wes, Theo." He gestured to the hunter that joined the circle. The dude practically had heart eyes for Gwen. Last year, Theo gave Trinity any time of day, there truly was nobody he was more committed to than his big crush, but things had evidently changed and Trinity probably saw it as one big demotion.
Elias, he didn't know a great deal about, but he couldn't see him rushing to his half-sister's aid. Preferring to fight and all.
And Wes, he was infatuated with Trinity, sure, but he could hardly save himself. And Trinity and Mason both knew he didn't need a bottle to kiss Alex.

He put his hand back on his lap, watching the bottle. "I'll always have your back."

There was always this strange concoction of anticipation and dread with games such as spin-the-bottle. Every spin egged on by thoughts of both 'please let it land on...' and 'please don't let it land on...' There was a degree of fate (or chance, for the more realistic) that made each spin something of a thrill.

Annie hadn't played it many times before, and her last memory of it was as a teenager, with a boy whose eagerness combined with his lack of experience made for something less than pleasant.

As the bottle twirled, she hoped the best for Kalani, as she always did, and when it landed on her, she smiled knowing that Kalani would have no such issues, and nor would she. Such thoughts were reaffirmed with Ani's reaction, as the latter girl responded in a light tone,

"Oh, easy!"

Annie giggled at her 'great kisser' comment, and as Ani's lips touched Annie's own, the daughter of Apollo felt no embarrassment or concern, completely comfortable with her company and her kisser.

"Guess it's you, Lee!"

Annie leaned back slightly in her seat, looking at Lise expectantly, only for Lise to raise an eyebrow in a questioning look.

"Oh? I thought it was whomever the bottle landed on went next? I'm hardly a stickler for the rules, but I'm not a total anarchist."

She shrugged, her usual smirk reappearing on her face. "But if you insist."

Her numerous silver rings glittered in the firelight as she gave the bottle a twirl, and her smirk remained as the bottle spun once, twice, thrice, before finally landing on Trinity. Her eyes flicked up from the bottle, and she shot Trinity a flirtatious look before leaning across the bottle towards her.

"Xena, my love," She tapped her lips with her index finger, "You got something for me?"

"Not at all. I wanted it extra toasty," Alex's smile grew before she chuckled. She couldn't imagine her own life without one of her arms since her power came from both of them, but she admired her best friend for trying his damn best to adjust. He never gave up, and that what she was proud of him for. Headstrong, and determined. "I have officially found a downside to having only one arm," he motioned the stick towards her.

She looked at the end of the stick and smiling as she leaned back just a tiny bit to avoid being poked. "What's the downside?" she asked, her eyes then looking up at him.

"I can't make a proper s'more. I can toast a marshmallow-like no one's business, obviously, But you can't properly squish the melted bastard between graham crackers and chocolate with one hand. My life of campfire snacks is reduced to charred white goop on a stick... With lord knows what on it." He raised the stick towards his face, furrowing his brows as he inspected it.

She wrapped her hand around his wrist and made him poke himself in the nose with the end of the stick he was inspecting. Alex laughed. "I can help, but I know you. You'll do it by yourself one way or another because you never give up." Alex knew Wes was avoiding the real answer with this mini chatter of marshmallows and S'mores, but she didn't mind, and she didn't want to force him to say anything if he didn't want to.

"That... And you know, the pity," she understood where he was coming from since he didn't want anyone to feel sorry for him. She smiled with her hand on his shoulder, then lowered her hand as the kissing game grabbed his attention. She glanced over there with him and cringed a little at how that girl addressed Trinity. Wasn't Xena Wes's personal nickname for her? that was another thing Alex admired about him and Duke. Their restraint. Alex had a fiery short temper like her father and struggled to hold it back when people annoyed her. Wes removed his beanie, running his hand back through his hair then finally looked over towards Alex, giving her a slight bump with his shoulder which made her look at him. "Go on back to your kissing game," he said, motioning his hand towards the spin the bottle game. "I'm fine."

"I'll pass... truth is, I joined for one reason and one reason only." she stopped herself from saying anything else, curling in her bottom lip and holding it between her teeth as she looked down into her lap, rubbing her right thumb with her fingers. "I... I have to tell you something," he probably already knew, but it didn't hurt just letting it all out to her best friend. "I.... I'm falling in love." she confessed and leaned in closer to him. "I just... I'm scared of telling them. I don't want to like, make things awkward for them."

He honestly thought she was going to turn him down. He wouldn't have blamed her if she had, especially with what he did last year after losing his soul. He still regretted every second of it, and now he would spend his entire life making it up to her. It had been such a long time since they had each other by themselves, and Ajax was going to take complete advantage of it by enjoying every damn second with her. She was loving even with the alcohol, so he knew it wasn't just the drink making her the way she was with him.

Andy let her body lean back into his, causing him to swallow a little. He felt so strong around her, yet so weak at the same time. She made him feel vulnerable which he wouldn't usually like, or allow, but... he loved her. As she moved her right hand back, hooking it around his neck, curling her fingers in his hair, she slowly looked back over her shoulder, glancing up at him. That is when she gave him the answer he desperately wanted. They held each other's gaze as they danced.

He cupped her jaw next, slowly moving in front of her. He slid his hand away from her jaw, sliding it steadily down her arm until both his arms were now down by his sides. With his forehead to hers, and his nose almost touching her own with his eyes watching her, his breath became slightly labored. He was grinning a little to himself as his heart was racing at this point. "I love you..." he whispered.

"Trinity, there's always room for you," Mason assured her, which was just as well because her patience was running thin with her bullshit luck. "You're my number one girl and I wouldn't replace you, not like others do."
Was she being replaced by the others? Number one girl? It felt good but empty at the same time. She glanced to his hand coming to rest on top of hers then up at him.

Rather than give him the questionable look she had intended, she was distracted by his gaze elsewhere and Trinity followed it to Wes and Alex. "You and me, we got to look out for each other and I mean that." Trinity inhaled with a prepared pain in her chest. Mase and her had had this kind of talk before. "Andy's a good girl, we both like her and count her as a friend but if we were dying in the field of battle, she'd choose Ajax. Love of her life. Ajax would sooner let you bleed out too. No one is gonna pick us. Not your brother, Wes, Theo." Hearing it verbally brought that sting back. Her gaze washed over all those that she had grown to trust and would do as good as betray her on the battlefield, and the worse part was she couldn't argue against it. Because tonight, if some beast ambushed her and cut her open, they wouldn't save her. All too absorbed in their booze and hormones and several of other people. Who would prioritize saving a daughter of Ares?

Trinity's jaw clenched, her cold gaze resting on wolf boy as her thoughts went on auto-pilot. Images flooded her head of her wounded and those 'friendly faces' passing by and leaving her there. Trinity didn't fear death but she didn't want to die alone. “It’s a good thing I can fight for myself then, huh?” she told Mason.

"I'll always have your back."

Trinity smiled a little. “Thanks. And I'll have yours.”

Trinity was in a different world entirely that was so toxic and vivid, she was half tempted drive her knee into them and right hook them in advance. Thankfully, and of all people, Lise snapped her out of it. "Xena, my love," she was saying, leaning towards Trinity and tapped her lips with her index finger, "You got something for me?"

Trinity's eyes trailed to the bottle's neck pointing at her then back up at Lise. Of course. Why did she expect she'd get away with it? Trinity leaned into Lise and planted a firm kiss on her lips holding it there for a good few qualifying seconds before pulling away. Trinity's brows furrowed then as her own kiss, coming from a place of impatience, annoyance and some recently pent up rage, was projected on Lise's lips. “Was that okay?” she mumbled to the daughter of Athena.

If she was a horrible kisser, she'd prefer to know before she - if she ever kissed Wes again or if some other bottle decided to land on her. And Lise and her ego weren't the kinds to divert from the truth.

Trinity scooped up the bottle. “Al!” she called sharply before Kalani decided to change the rules to Lise's version of 'whoever the bottle lands on spins next'.

Alex didn't meet Trinity with the haste she hoped for. She took another swig of her drink during the interval.

“Just take the spin, Trin,” the devil's daughter called to her.

“Hurry up,” another anxious player prompted.

She sighed out laying the bottle down and spun it around, eyes locked on the glass that chose who she kissed. When it came to a stop, she saw it landed on the son of Artemis. Her fists turned to balls and teeth grit. Still, Trinity leaned over, tugged Theo towards her, grabbed him in place with a hand and closed the distance with a kiss, crushing her lips on his. In time, she pulled away and gave his cheek a 'playful' pat. Such a shame he was a face that she couldn't depend on.

Trinity returned to her spot by Mason and ran her fingers through her hair and released a sigh. “Well, next time I join something like this, don't let me.” She went for her own beer bottle but found it was empty again. “That’s my cue to go. Good luck, champ.”

She wasn’t sure things gleamed quite so bright and wicked as her own grin in that moment. She pivotted on her heel to bear witness to the participation of Trinity in spin the bottle and shot a glance to Elias. He didn't seem the overbearing brother type, but if Harley was drawn as the bad influence or something, she had to be ready to defend herself and make her claim.

Harley didn't have to wait drastically long for her dear dare to be complete to satisfactory as the bottle landed on Trinity and she went for gold like a trooper. Harleen's brow quirked up in surprise. She supposed she might have owed Wes an apology for that since he had some significant attachment with the blonde and in no circumstance was it easy to watch your person of interest lock lips with another.

But elsewhere, there was more entertainment that awaited her. More feathers to ruffle, more shows. It was a party right? So for her own sake of sanity, she needed to lighten to mood for herself and find amusement. A guy and modest girl were giving each other eyes and their bodies were drawing closer together. Harley made a bee line for them and breezed by as if she had places to be and the other end was compellingly intriguing. As she did, she reached around one-handed and squeezed the girl's butt. The daughter of a famous deity gasped, scowled and spun on her heels and left the boy standing there dumbfounded.

Harley chuckled to herself. “I’m not even sorry.” In fact she already felt better for it.

She took a seat in the sand and smiled watching the party. She could see herself liking it here.

“Uh... yes? Do you want something, or...?”

Her hand returned to her side. “Not at the present time,” Evelyn confessed easily. “I just thought to introduce myself formally. But if you were busy, and my presence is a nuisance I apologize for misreading the circumstances.”

Evelyn held McKenna's gaze, rooted in place. Of course, Eve acknowledged she could have been a nuisance but McKenna certainly wasn't busy and there weren't a great deal of compelling others to see and talk with tonight.

A few questions started to bubble to the surface with this intriguing young soul. “Do people often come to you for a favor?” she inquired. Since McKenna's first response was to assume Evelyn wanted something, she thought it was fair to ask. “Do you agree to them?” Then, she smiled slightly, ready to ask the most intriguing question of the night. “Do I look like somebody that wants or expects something from you?” Evelyn searched McKenna's eyes. She was sure the girl had no reason or restrain to lie, but she was curious to hear the youngest demigod's response. Maybe Evelyn appeared as venomous and using as a daughter of Hera. Or as deceptive as a child of Khione. The open floor of honest feedback would no doubt highlight her night, not to mention give her a better sense how she came off to others. Not that she was changing that any time soon.

“Can I get you a drink?” Evelyn shifted over to the coolers and rose her brows expectantly towards McKenna, prepared to dunk her hand into the lucky dip of drinks that were...what...90% beer. “Maybe something from home?” Eve challenged.

Image Duke joined the girls slowly and watched Evelyn's hand hang mid-air and return to her side without shake.

At this rate things might have been less awkward with the drunkards in spin the bottle. It was that unwelcoming he even thought about merging over towards that game. But he preferred not to kiss people under the circumstances that a bottle told him to. Besides, he wasn't sure if this was how Evelyn and McKenna talked to people or there was some underlying stand off thing going on. He preferred the first because then McKenna definitely had a friend in Eve.

Duke bit his tongue for now though, even when he found Eve's questions a little interrogative towards his sister. When she moved to the coolers, Duke took the opportunity to step towards McKenna. "Call me if you need anything." He knew McKenna could handle herself but Duke wanted to cover all basis. Drunks pushing beers in her hand, Evelyn pushing her temper were probably the most concerning at this point.

Duke approached the fire catching the tail end of Alex and Wes's conversation. "...make things awkward for them."
It sounded more like an intimate, private conversation so Duke kept walking, and frankly, finding heat wasn't ever an issue for him. For now he'd have to stay a little longer before calling it quits and returning to his cabin.

Image Mason tried not to snicker as it landed on Trinity. It looked like it took a while for things to click in place for her, but when it did, Trinity went for it. She didn't hesitate which probably knocked Lise's ego up a couple thousand notches. But even Mason was pretty impressed and if she had done the same to him and kissed him the same way, he'd have an inflated ego too. She hung there for an extra moment, flirting with the daughter of Athena. No that wasn't right...death threat?

“Al!” Trinity called.
"Don't call her over," Mason grumbled, rubbing his forehead. Even the concept of her rejoining, doing some stupid fake modest giggle about having to kiss someone, annoyed him. Or worse those over confident "seductive" smirks.

A few impatient heckles came her way and Trinity took the spin. When it landed on Theo, Mason peered at Trinity's expression and laughed. For a moment he was worried he'd have to grab Trinity when she pounced and attacked him and they'd have to make a hasty retreat but instead, she kissed him like she was going to war. His eyes widened and brows shot up. It was probably the first time Mason was envious of Theo. Like not knowing whether she was going to kill you or give you the best angry sex of your life...what a thrill.

Mason rolled out his neck. His eyes washed over the circle. If the son of Eris knew some sub-text, maybe he'd revel a little more in the drama or make some drama and chaos, or maybe he'd just keep undressing Mateo with his eyes. Mason's eyes landed on Adrianna and he couldn't help the small smirk that passed his lips. He was hopeful but pretty pessimistic about the odds of landing on her and while she was beautiful, he wasn't swept away in the idea of lust like so many others tonight.
Trinity shrunk back into her spot beside him causing him to turn back to her. “Well, next time I join something like this, don't let me.”
Mason laughed. "You did good, I'm honestly...blown away."
Trinity checked her beer. “That’s my cue to go. Good luck, champ.”
"I almost feel left out. Don’t you have something for me?" He tapped his lips as Lise had and laughed.

Boy he hoped Romeo saw Trinity and Theo kiss. Did children of Aphrodite even feel jealousy? His head shifted to Kalani curiously.
"Ani," he said, he thought he had heard people call her that before, "who's your favorite on camp so far? It's not a trick question either," he assured with an amused smile. He definitely didn't expect Kalani to say him, unless in a joking nature. "Just some...soul searching. An interval game, if you will."

Ani isn't sure whether to be annoyed or amused when Lise lands on Trinity, but decides on the latter after Lise's comment. However the amusement quickly turns into surprise when Trinity goes straight in for the kill, something Ani was not expecting. Since Alex had left the circle, even though she'd asked to go next - which didn't make much sense to Ani - it went back to Trinity to spin once more. Landing on Theo.

While she may not have been here the year previous, from the look on Trinity's face, someone must have gone down between her and the son of Artemis. How exciting, Ani wasn't usually one for causing chaos, she was more of a wing-woman than a drama queen, she couldn't deny that this was pretty interesting. Unless, of course, it hurt Wes. In Ani's eyes it was just a game, but then she'd never been in love and seen that person kissing someone else, so who was she to say how her brother would feel? Chewing on her bottom lip, she sends a glance in her half-brother's direction, hoping he would be too engrossed in his conversation with Alex to have taken notice.

"Looks like it's your turn Theo," Ani beams, locking eyes with him, "Although I doubt anyone's gonna be able to top that kiss."
She continues, giggling ever so slightly.

"Ani," Turning her head back to the circle, Ani catches Mason's eye once more, this has gotta be the most he'd ever spoken to her, "Who's your favorite on camp so far? It's not a trick question either," Cocking her head to the side, Ani wonders why on earth Mason is asking her this, and more than that, why he would even care. "Just some...soul searching. An interval game, if you will."

Biting down on her bottom lip, Ani's gaze floats around the circle as she ponders on Mason's question. "Well," She begins, a wry smile forming on her lips, "I wouldn't wanna hurt your feelings and not say you, Mace; besides, I don't want to rule out anyone," Ani had never once heard a single person call Mason that during her time at Camp and hey, if it ruffled his feathers she didn't really care, Ani was intentionally teasing him. "However, I'm more interested in hearing who your favourite is." Subtly avoiding the subject and cracking jokes seemed like the best option to Ani and so she sent Mason a wink, messing with him. She didn't want to hurt anyone's feelings by not saying them, or worse yet, make anyone uncomfortable by labelling the her 'favourite person at camp'. Especially since it was probably Lise, and Ani wasn't quite ready to reveal her little crush yet. Not only that, but Ani was genuinely curious as to who Mason favoured seeing as they barely spoke, maybe it would give her more of an insight into the role he had played at Camp Athens last year, since no one wanted to tell Ani the full story, not even Wes wanted to get into it which Ani respected; he lost a lot last year.

Waiting for his response, Ani looks over to Adrianna who was still sat by his side, wondering whether he might say her. It would certainly get him into her good books, although he already seemed to be top of her list. If they didn't end up hooking-up tonight Ani would be shocked, not because Mason struck her as a particularly frisky person, but because Adrianna was queen of seduction - second only to Ani, naturally. Although even Ani couldn't deny that her friend had the 'hot mean girl' schtick down, something that never really appealed to Ani, but she genuinely enjoyed Adrianna's take on it. In fact, Adrianna had been one of her first friends at the camp, and while they were actually quite different, Ani believed it was their parentage that brought the girls together. Plus they were both pretty amazing at talking the pants off of just about anyone. Brushing a lock of brunette hair from her eyes, Ani shifts her gaze back onto Mason.

Ajax had his answer, moving his hand up to cup to jaw gently. He slowly moved around her, until he was standing before Andy. His gaze never faltering from her own. His hand then slid down her arm, until his own arms rested at his sides. With his forehead to hers, she extended her right hand slightly, taking hold of his forearm, stroking his skin with her thumb. The girl's brows furrowed slightly as she took note of his labored breathing and subtle grin.

"I love you..." he whispered.

Andy's heart skipped a beat. Or did it stop? She couldn't tell. Her quickly fell out of sync, causing her to stumble. Her hands quickly took hold of Ajax's upper arms, attempting to steady herself. She couldn't help the tsunami that crashed into her. The past year had been such a rollercoaster, making her confused more than anything about how Ajax truly felt. But her own heart never wavered. Hearing those words effected her more than Andy had ever imagined. Her hands gripped to his arms like her life line from drowning in the overwhelming emotions. Tears began to build in her eyes, no matter how hard she fought them.

Her right moved to his chest, while her gaze fell to her fingers. Andy's hand grasped at his shirt as she tried to steady her breathing. With her hand upon him, she felt his own heart racing nearly as fast as hers was. She couldn't help but smile slightly to herself. She looked up at him, up into those dark warm eyes. At first she parted her lips, but nothing came out. A single tear ran down her cheek as she took a deep breath, before whispering back up at him. "And I love you."

"I'll pass... truth is, I joined for one reason and one reason only." That wasn't all that surprising. Most people only joined spin the bottle in hopes of getting a chance to kiss the object of their affection. Wes didn't have to be Aphrodite's son to notice that, but it did help. He also wasn't blind at noticing something was also on her mind, no doubt similar to his own struggles.

"I... I have to tell you something." Wes quirked his brow, turning his head towards her. He didn't say anything, instead waiting and listening while drawing circles in the sand with his stick. "I.... I'm falling in love."

He chuckled, a slight smile tugging at his mouth. "I know." Love was like a flashing alarm. It was black and white to him. He could feel it like the wind. The strength of the breeze growing with the force of the love. Standing near Andy and Ajax was like standing in the middle of a hurricane, while sitting beside Alex was like a cool autumn's breeze.

"I just... I'm scared of telling them. I don't want to like, make things awkward for them."

Wes sighed, tossing his stick into the fire. He tried not to look, but curiosity got the best of him and his glance drifted back over towards the spin the bottle game. Of course, at the completely wrong time. He sucked in his lips between his teeth as he closed his eyes. It was just a game, right? Then why did that sight bother him so much? Trinity wasn't his and he had no right to be put off by it. But, seeing her lock lips with Theo... Hurt. Safe to say, he'd rather lose his other arm than have to watch that again. Before looking back to Alex, his gaze drifted towards his sister who stared at him as if she already knew. He gave his best attempt at a smile, then returned his attention back to his present company.

"You should tell him," Wes finally said. "'What if's can be the death of you... But, at least when you get how you feel out in the open, you're never left wondering. You've said your piece and the ball is in their court." He shrugged his shoulders. "No matter what happens, you have the security in knowing you did all you can do."

Wes slid his hand into the front pocket of his jeans while crossing his ankles out before him. "I may be an idiot... Pining after a girl who most likely sees me no differently than you do." He looks over at Alex, his expression half amused at the truth of himself and half sad. Ironic how romance and love never seems quite as easy for himself. You think it would be due to his parentage, but if anything, that just makes the absence of it hurt more. "But," he held up an index finger. "She knows how I feel... and basically the entire camp."

He sighs softly, with a little chuckle. "You can be more subtle than me." Wes smiled, patting Alex's knee. "Plus... This 'guy'," he made air quotes with his hand, as if he didn't know whom she spoke of. "He'd be an idiot if he didn't have feelings for you too." After a moment, he clicked his tongue in his mouth. "Or I could kick his ass if he turns you down... Er, try to." Wes laughed, a deep heartfelt laugh. Everyone knew he couldn't fight for shit, and with one arm... He might win a battle with a rabbit, if he was lucky.

Dom actually chuckled at her comment about the ocean eating her. Sloane can't honestly remember a time when someone laughed at anything she said... Not unless it was ironically. Sylas laughed at her often, but simply because he thought she was stupid and naive. But someone actually laughing at her, because she did something that could be considered at least a fraction humorous was nice. It was a new sensation, that she might not experience again for awhile.

She awkwardly chewed on her bottom lip, scanning the crowds of campers. "I like it." Sloane looked back towards Dom. "Your name, I like your name. I mean, it's one of those names that doesn't need a nickname. It can hold its own."

The corner of Sloane's mouth curled into a slight smile. "I... never really thought of it that way." Her right hand raised, brushing a lock of hair behind her ear. "Thank you," she added, breaking the silence. It seemed the short while that they were already talking, the noisy abruptness of the part turned into white noise. Campers were getting drunk, kissing each other because a bottle tells them too and grinding their bodies together. She couldn't care less. But, the surprising part of the evening was someone actually noticing her existence when she expected to spend the evening reading a book trying not to get stepped on.

"Is it that easy to tell? I guess, I'm not doing a great job of hiding how much I don't belong here."

"Why hide it? I don't." Sloane was an outcast, putting it lightly. But, she didn't particularly care, or try to hide it. Her brother was the peacock out of the two of them. He always had to blend in, hide in plain sight. He hated how Sloane did her own thing, never conforming. It's ironic how intimidating people found her, just because she was a daughter of Eris that smiled maybe once a year.

"If I'm being honest, I've tried to talk myself into leaving several times. I don't know what's keeping me here, or I mean maybe I do now." Sloane's gaze fell to his feet as Dom dug his foot in the sand. Now? What did that mean? He couldn't possibly think that she was worth sticking around in this cesspool of raging hormones.

"Now? What's changed your mind? The potential to scare more air-headed demigods? She tilted her head to the side, looking up at him. "Or the prospect of saving more damsels from getting swallowed by the sea?" She had an inquisitive expression, holding his gaze even if he didn't hold hers.

"Why are you here? You're the first person I've meet that has brought reading material to a party."

She pursed her lips, raising her free hand up to rub the back of her neck. "Sylas made me come." Her gaze drifted over towards her brother who sat in the circle of anxious teenagers, waiting for their chance to get their kiss. Her eyes quickly darted to her feet when her brother's gaze met her own. Her company giving him a sadistic smirk that turned her stomach. For the most part, Sloane didn't care who Sylas entangled in his intricate web. But for some reason, it bothered her at the thought of him trying to bring Dom down with him.

"Figured if I had to come, I shouldn't be utterly bored." Sloane looked down at the novel held to her chest. She took it in her right hand, holding it up. "It's The Iliad. A book everyone should read, especially demigods." She turned the book over in her hands, flipping through the pages. "It's a good read, but you have to read the Odyssey once you've finished it. The Iliad is about the Trojan War, while the Odyssey follows Odysseus after the war."

After a moment of looking down at the book, Sloane took a step towards Dom. She held the worn hardback novel towards him. "You can borrow it... If you want." She gave him a slight smile, wiggling the book in her hand. "I've read it like a hundred times."

"Al!" Trinity called, making Alex turn her head towards the kissing circle which made her catch sight of Duke passing them. It made her take a tiny gasp of air. Oh god she thought, then turned away, eyes closed. Hopefully, he hadn't heard anything.

She took a steady deep breath, the air seeping up into her nostrils before exiting as a heavy sigh from her slender small nose. She felt the anxiety creeping up under her skin as her heart raced at the very thoughts in her head, thoughts of how she'd tackle the whole process of telling the person how she felt about them. She looked at it from every possible angle while Wes turned his attention back to the party for a second to gather his thoughts no doubt. He didn't want to give Alex false hope.

"You should tell him," Wes finally said, making Alex look at him again as she shuffled a little closer to the fire. Just that extra warmth felt nice against her skin. It wasn't cold tonight, just mild. "'What if's can be the death of you... But, at least when you get how you feel out in the open, you're never left wondering. You've said your piece and the ball is in their court." He shrugged his shoulders. Alex sighed again. He was right. Even if his feelings didn't quite match her own, at least she wouldn't have to bottle it all up and pretend. She couldn't ignore it anymore, and she couldn't pretend she didn't feel anything anymore. "No matter what happens, you have the security in knowing you did all you can do." Alex nodded. Trying her best was all she could do. "I may be an idiot... Pining after a girl who most likely sees me no differently than you do." Alex hated it when he put himself down. He looks over at Alex.
"But," he held up an index finger. "She knows how I feel... and basically the entire camp."

"You're not an idiot, Wes. Don't ever let me catch you saying that again." She lightly warned him, then moved closer to him, taking his hand in hers. With her eyes on him, she carried on to speak. "If people think that about you? then they're the idiots. You have every right in the world to feel how you do. No one can change/take that away. Just give it time, okay? if she truly does feel the same way, then you'll know. She won't make you wait forever. No one should do that. There is so much living to do. Life is beautiful, and it doesn't need your moping face" She poked him in the cheek and chuckled.

Wes sighed softly, with a little chuckle of his own. "You can be more subtle than me." he smiled, patting Alex's knee. "Plus... This 'guy'," Alex chuckled then as she watched his little air quotes with his hand, though he did know who this mystery man was, "He'd be an idiot if he didn't have feelings for you too." Alex twisted her lips a little. She wouldn't have thought about him being an idiot, just... someone who didn't fall so easily. "Or I could kick his ass if he turns you down... Er, try to." they both laughed.

"Yeah, you'd do more damage by tickling him to death" She winked and smiled. "No, seriously... I totally got this. I'll bring it up to him when the time feels....right, but for now.. let's just enjoy this party, okay?"

"And I love you." her words echoed inside of his head, causing him to smile proudly. He was proud of himself because he had managed to attract such a woman to him from the very start.

At first, when he saw her tears, he thought something was wrong, but quickly figured out that she was feeling emotions overwhelm her. It was a moment that Ajax would cherish. With her eyes sparkling with those adorable tears of hers, Ajax used the pad of his thumb to slowly wipe them away as he looked between her beautiful eyes. He smiled. "How about we ditch this party early, huh? hang out at your place with a couple of beers instead." he offered. "You don't have to, though." he added, not wanting to force her or to drag her away from the party just before he wanted no one around her other than himself. "But, I really will be hurt if you say no." He grinned as he went back to dancing with her, this time slipping back behind her with his nose and lips caressing her slender, warm neck.

Theo lost focus on the game for a minute after he caught Gwen staring at him. He looked from Gwen to Trinity, wondering if things with this new girl would fare better for him than the last time he caught feelings for a demigoddess. Trinity's facial expression particularly his eye as she seemed deep in conversation with Mason. Theo's brows furrowed. That fire she always had behind her eyes was intensified, but he could almost see that it was burning out of rage. One of the new girls approached her, snapping Theo out of his state of intense observation. He glanced back at the bottle and realized that the girl had landed on Trinity. Theo almost laughed out loud. Trinity of all people... especially considering he could tell that whatever her and Mason had spoken about had royally pissed her off. She might slap the girl. Surprisingly though, she took the new girl's kiss like a champ. Trinity predictably tried to delay her own spin in favor of seeking an out, but she eventually gave into the peer pressure of the groaning demigods around her. She leaned into spin, and the bottle seemed to rotate forever. As it slowed down, Theo's eyes grew wide. No way... Then the bottle came to a stop, and the reality sunk in. It was pointing unmistakably in the direction of Theo. Shit.

It wasn't that Theo didn't want to kiss Trinity. Of course he did. Just because he had gotten past his crush, she was still Trinity. She was still just as beautiful and fierce. Theo would still do anything for her, but he wasn't sure if she knew that or not. Honestly, he would probably be right back to how he felt before if she felt the same way all of a sudden.

The next few seconds were a blur for Theo. Trinity stomped her way towards him, and he just sat there. He couldn't really move. He was held in place by the weight and the irony of the moment. What if Wes saw? Why did this moment that he had wanted for so long have to come in a stupid game? And what the hell was Trinity mad about? Then she pulled him up with one hand and her back and her lips came to meet his. Theo was shocked by the fire behind the kiss. Was that fury? He almost didn't know how to react. Was she gonna pull away and slap him or was she kissing him with some passion she had never admitted to? Then it clicked that he was kissing a girl, and he let himself get into it for the rest of the kiss. It wasn't like it was long, but it definitely wasn't short. It happened, and then it was over. Trinity turned on her heels and promptly left the circle with only a look and a comment to Mason. Theo just stood there for a second probably looking stupid. No doubt he had a stunned gape on his face.

Kalani broke him from his daze, "Looks like it's your turn Theo. Although I doubt anyone's gonna be able to top that kiss." Theo snapped back to reality, but his mind followed Trinity through the crowd. He needed to go to talk to her. He quickly leaned down to spin the bottle. He could care less who it landed on. It spun and spun until it slowed and ended up pointing at the daughter of Hera. Theo was pretty sure she had said her name was Adrianna. Usually, he would have savored this moment. She was on the short list of hottest girls at Camp Athens, but Theo was too floored by the events of the past five minutes to even care. He approached her, giving her a slight smirk for show and planted a quick peck on her lips. Then he turned away and left the circle at the same place Trinity had. He spotted her immediately as she walked. Theo felt a twinge of guilt as he passed Wes on his way after her. He really hoped the guy hadn't seen what went down. I'll deal with that later. Theo pressed on as he finally caught up to Trinity. He slowly but firmly grabbed her arm to turn her around. He wasn't violent about it in any way. Still, he could never be too careful with sneaking up on the warrior princess. His inhibitions were in the wind at the moment.

"Hey, are you okay? And don't lie to me. I can see it. You know I've always been able to read it in your eyes," Theo stammered out. "Talk to me, Trin." Theo tried to give her a reassuring smile, but he wasn't even sure that came out right.

"I'll grab us some beers" Alex added to Wes before heading off towards the cooler. Her eyes wandered to where Trinity and Theo were, which made Alex pause for a second before she changed her direction, heading straight for them. "Theo!!!" she called, instantly hooking her right arm around him. She flicked her hair back from her shoulder with her free hand, smirking at him as she walked beside him, pulling him gently away from Trinity. "You're looking good tonight. You been working out?" she unhooked her arm from him, her hands slowly running over his muscular arms and torso. "Wow. Reckon you can lift me with those guns?" she winked.

Theo did look good tonight, and she was shocked that all the other girls hadn't even made some sort of move on him yet. The buzz of the drinks she had been drinking tonight had hit her a little more than expected, but she still knew what she was doing.

Trinity bumped her knee into Mason and bee-lined for another beer. But there was a new selection of bottles and plastic cups sitting on the bar. She looked around to see who would dive in and claim them as theirs and how she couldn't have any, etc. etc. but nobody did so she poured herself a shot, downed it, poured another and took it to go.

Someone grabbed her arm firmly enough to demand her attention and make her lose a step and bounce back, and frankly she wasn't in the mood to be touched or stopped. Trinity pulled herself up short of shoving them away when she saw it was Theo. The audacity of this guy.

"Hey, are you okay? And don't lie to me. I can see it. You know I've always been able to read it in your eyes." Yeah, it was probably those stupid cheat animal instincts. Internally, she groaned. It wasn't and she loved what Artemis and her children could do, especially the shapeshifting. It was her damn eyes. "Talk to me, Trin."

“A girl kisses you and you ask her what’s wrong?” she asked back to Theo half amused. She wasn't 'in' with dating and affectionate acts, but she felt that it was rough timing. “Kinda brutal.” 'Hey, are you okay because you can't really kiss if your life depended on it' But then her eyes searched his face with a moment's of genuine concern. She didn't bite him accidentally or grip him too hard did she? Trinity was upset with these hypothetical versions of the people she cared about but if she was going to hurt Theo, she best have done it right and deliberately.

After figuring that wasn't the case otherwise he probably would have said something about the kiss, not her well-being, she released a sigh. “I don't know Theo, it's stupid,” she confessed. It was unfair of her to be moody at him for something he hadn't done. He might do it but he certainly hadn't failed her yet. “Just...” her hands collapsed by her side, “would you save me? Cause I kinda have this image in my head that all my camp mates would sooner abandon me and let me bleed dry than you know...actually help me. I mean there's enough hate in the world so one less hateful person isn't exactly a big loss,” her gaze moved pass Theo and into blank space as she rambled, “and I'd probably live on purely out of spite anyway and take care of myself. But...” as her eyes shifted back to Theo, he was quite literally stolen away.

A dry laugh escaped her. “Am I being punked?” In what world was this shit okay. And when did Alex turn into a brunette bimbo. She was a bit flirty, adventurous, impulsive but Trinity didn't think that bad. Did Alex just have a thing for taking the guys Trinity liked. She spared a look to Wes then knocked back her second shot. She couldn't face him yet. Besides, wouldn't be long til some other person swept to Ken's side then probably started chatting him up.

As she moved to join Harley, some arms wrapped around her waist and seized her to their side. "I bet I could kiss you better."

“I bet you don’t and you don’t even try.” She threw her elbow into his ribs and kicked behind his knee cap in two fluid natural motions. He collapsed and yelled out a little louder than she would have liked and she hurriedly tried to quiet him. “Ssh. You're okay. Walk it off. Dick.”

She sighed out when she finally reached her darer, sitting by her, only facing the waves. “That was a disaster,” she concluded picking up Harley's drink and taking a sip. Trinity didn't even want to look back towards the party or see Wes because it'd probably tip her over the edge. Trinity had honestly rather had locked lips with her peers than talk to someone and fail at playing charming or just even talk to someone and lie that she tried. She sat there with a hand clutched roughly in her hair as that sunk in. Only you, Trinity. Only you. In her perfect world, the bottle span round and round, missed her until people called it a night or she could pretend to be tired and fatigued. But Lise blew that up in her face right off the bat. Trinity should have shifted to something more like an outer circle as if she was a mere spectator.

After some time of sitting by Harley and staring out into the vast water, Trinity stood up. “I'm going for a swim.” Maybe the waves could help erase the spin the bottle action and help her get a real sense of logic. The beach was such a carefree space after all. Well, the tide was. In there the only worries were whether she should go over or under a wave, if a wave was 'dumper', if she should try body surf it, and occasionally, in Australia, is there a shark in water as well? Even if the waves didn't serve the magical purposes Trinity was hoping for, they would cure the heat creeping across Trinity's skin and it looked inviting the entire time she was staring at it.

Harley was doing some bad lip reading and voice overs of what topic people were talking about and how. She never failed to amuse herself when in need but Trinity giving some guy a swift beat down was much better making Harley erupt into laughter. Some people didn't pay attention to heritages and did just not know how to approach a lady.

Harley watched Trinity head for her and smiled when she parked her butt beside her. “That was a disaster.”

She tilted her head sympathetically. At least she had done it. “I don't think Lise and Theo thought so. Disaster isn't the word that springs to my mind either. In fact what disastrous thing could happen to you?” The question hung in the air between them and wasn't answered for a long while. Trinity's silence was taken as nothing, exactly what Harley gathered. When you were the queen of pain, what did you have to fear, what could be so disastrous?

“I'm going for a swim.”

Harley squinted. “But it's night and really not that hot.” Harley looked over her shoulder towards the waves. “Tide's coming in, isn't it?” When she turned back around she found Trinity's clothes dumped on her other side. Harleen did a 360 and found Trinity's shape, unless conveniently, somebody else decided to go for a swim in the dark at the same time and had blonde hair from what the last glimpse of firelight showed. “Don't go too far,” she mumbled as the figure steadily got further away from the light and party and deeper into the ocean. “You forgot a towel,” she cooed just as uselessly.

She couldn't help but hover for some time. It felt totally against Harley's nature too. Rather than enjoy a party she was trying to keep her eyes on the Queen of Pain. Harley had to remember to lock in that nickname for Trinity when she came back as well. Harley quickly scanned the party once more taking note of the location of the children of Poseidon in case hazards occurred. The likelihood was slim but just in case. Couldn't be too careful and all that.

Harley trudged back to the fire. She had caught glimpse of a girl alone making sand castles but she certainly didn't seem lonely, and more content in her world. Part of Harley wished sandcastles could be that fun for her too. So she chose not to intrude on that activity and keep walking, up to the logs and beside Raven. “Hello lady and gent,” she greeted the pair she instead chose to intrude upon and took a seat on Raven's other side. “Good to see you both make an appearance. Even if parties aren't our particular scene and we don't feel festive.” Most parties were about energy and drinking but those two were happily situated in the same place since she had last seen them. Personally Harley could never achieve such an act.

"Usually, people don't come to me at all. I don't have friends, so if anyone were to approach me, they would probably want something. Like you; you want to know how I would respond to your really forward advances, and maybe you might find me abnormal and wonder, 'who the fuck is this person?'" Even with it all supposedly figured out, the youngest demigod eyed her like an ill motive was lurking at heart. "If you wanted to know, I do indeed find you nosy."

Evelyn let the young and fiery demigod have her say without interruption, she was entitled to her voice and opinion no matter how abrupt, and Evelyn had asked for it and of course she hadn't expected a pleasant review to depart the blonde's mouth. But she had provided the truth and with that, throughout their interaction thus far, evidence to why she didn't have friends. Still, Eve wasn't completely repelled from her yet.

After a moment of eyeing the coolers, McKenna had her response. "I highly doubt that you have any rakija in there."

While luck could be as good as witchcraft and Evelyn had prompted for something from the daughter of Hephaestus's home, she hunched rakija wasn't exactly juice or water. Evelyn couldn't draw out her company's exact age, although the way she acted pitted against the world or the people in it she could almost fool people she was older, Evelyn knew she was youthful and considered a minor in majority of lands across the globe. Besides, even if Evelyn was compelled to give her an alcoholic beverage, she had a big protective brother with eyes like a hawk.

She sighed slightly when it was her turn to speak again, pulling out a bottle of water for herself then sliding away from the cooler with the smallest gesture for McKenna to help herself to an improved range of drinks. If luck befitted her maybe she would find rakija. “I do have a habit of testing people but I wasn't testing you. I was merely interested in why you are the way you are so I chose to ask questions, but in future I'll walk on eggshells around you.” Personally, Evelyn didn't like to waste time tip-toeing around matters, however, she supposed more subtlety could have been implemented. Likewise, she assumed McKenna wouldn't mind her forward advances, but maybe she had misjudged her. “I didn't think sweet, kind smiles and words would do much for you,” she said picking up from her train of thought. “I wanted answers and I got them,” she pointed out evenly.

Evelyn took a sip from her bottle. “I have a great deal of respect for the children of Hephaestus. Engineers and smiths have a role on camp and the world. They're smart.” While the stone-hearted girl nearby did possess such smarts and intelligence, she didn't have all aspects covered to longevity. “My advice would be to make some friends. You'll need someone in your corner. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow but some day. And don't worry, I don't expect it to be me,” Eve stated beating her to the punchline.

After this encounter it was more likely she'd acquire a special distaste for Evelyn.

Theo stared at Trinity intently, waiting for her answer. He couldn't tell if he had made it worse or what exactly might be going through her head. “A girl kisses you and you ask her what’s wrong? Kinda brutal.” Theo let out a half laugh himself. She certainly had a way of saying the thing that most avoided the question. Trinity was great at those things. "Come on, you know I'm being serious." Theo placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder. Then Trinity did the last thing Theo expected. She unloaded her thoughts on him. She got serious.

“I don't know Theo, it's stupid." She paused briefly as if she was scared to let it out. “Just... would you save me? Cause I kinda have this image in my head that all my camp mates would sooner abandon me and let me bleed dry than you know...actually help me. I mean there's enough hate in the world so one less hateful person isn't exactly a big loss...”

Theo opened his mouth to respond with reassurance of his loyalty to Trinity, but before he could get a word out Alex yelled his name and looped his arm and began to drag him away. Theo tried to resist, looking back over his shoulder at Trinity, but Alex was drunk and strong. He looked down at the girl as she started to speak, rolling his eyes. Maybe if he just listened then she would go away quickly. "You're looking good tonight. You been working out? Alex ran her hands over his arms. "Wow. Reckon you can lift me with those guns?" Theo just gaped at her. What was she doing? He looked back for Trinity once more as he contemplated just walking off, but she was already gone. He scanned the crowds, but he couldn't find Trinity or Ajax. He decided the best thing he could possibly do was get Alex back to her cabin before some new camper took advantage of her drunkenness.

"Alex, you're drunk." There was a sternness in Theo's tone that probably arose from both his frustration with having his conversation intruded upon and knowing who he was dealing with. He was conscious of what it would look like if he left with a drunk Alex hanging off of him though. He felt a twinge of regret as he spotted Gwen and Emery. He hadn't gotten to talk to her. He made a split second decision and looked back at Alex, "Let's get you home. We'll deal with the rest of this tomorrow." With that, Theo left the party, walking Alex back to her cabin. He was mostly quiet as they walked, lost in his own thoughts as he watched Alex move along with the intense focus only a drunk demigod can display. As they arrived at the cabin, Theo hugged Alex, whispering in her ear, "Get some sleep and eat well in the morning. Don't forget we have capture the flag tomorrow." He smiled at her, and then he began his own trek to his cabin.

"Alex, you're drunk.

"Ugh.." she groaned, "You sound almost like my brother" she chuckled, right before she stumbled, her hands and one side of her cheek hit the trunk of the tree that she was stood near too. "I get it, though, who would like a murderer?" People hated her since she made that mistake of killing Jenn without thinking straight. They couldn't just drop it and leave it in the past.

"Let's get you home. We'll deal with the rest of this tomorrow."

She began to walk, her legs crisscrossing once before she gained proper balance. How could she have gotten so drunk? she didn't have that many, but then again, she hardly ever touched alcohol. Everything around her seemed like it was moving slowly, and her head felt like it was buzzing. In a good way. Every thought that had been trapped inside that head of hers, had vanished for the night. Finally.

Walking back to her cabin with Theo, the silence between them lingered as she folded her arms in an attempt to shield the cool wind from herself as much as possible. She felt bad about how she dragged him away from Trinity like she did, but there was no taking it back. If only it were Duke walking her home instead. No offense to Theo of course. It was good of him to make sure she got back alright, or he felt like he didn't have a choice considering who's sister she was.

Finally reaching home, Alex felt Theo's arms wrap around her. Hugging her. He began to whisper in her ear. "Get some sleep and eat well in the morning. Don't forget we have capture the flag tomorrow." He smiled at her. Alex smiled back with a nod before he left.

Alex wandered into her cabin, closed the door behind her, and headed to the couch. She thought she wasn't tired yet, but she soon she fell asleep there.

A sXXTrinity's lips pressed against Lise's, the latter girl's brows shot up in bemusement, and once they finally separated, said expression did not leave her face.

XX"Was that okay?"

O h ,XX definitely. Lot of passion, which is always fun, although you were sending out some major hate-sex vibes. Not that that's a bad thing. Also, I can tell that you're a little inexperienced, but I would be happy to help you with that.

T a c t l e s sXXas she was, Lise knew better than to say any of this to the obviously emotionally conflicted demigod, so instead she just carried on with her detachedly amused smile, and raised her hand in an 'okay' gesture.

S h eXXher own kiss, she was surprised by how quickly she'd grown bored by the game, which was so often the source of drama and scandal- at least in 90's teen dramas. Her attention was quickly drawn away from the empty beer bottle, as she watched with a smirk the chaos around her. Or, perhaps not chaos, not yet. But brewing. She barely knew half of the people at camp, but none of them seemed especially apt at hiding their emotions. Their furtive glances, their jealous frowns, their conflicted gazes... they weren't subtle in the slightest.

L i s e ' sXXeyes drifted to the angsty brunette -Alex, was it?- as the girl dragged Theo away from Xena, clearly unable, or perhaps unwilling to read the room. Ha. Relatable, amiright? A lot of unpleasant rumours followed around the daughter of Zeus, the most prominent being the story of her murdering a fellow camper last year. Apparently, it had been an act of vengeance, and although Lise sympathised with the notion, the fact that she'd been allowed to return to camp without punishment after literally killing someone irked her slightly. Perhaps it was her logical nature, that demanded fairness in regards to punishment and legal retribution. Then again, it wasn't like she was much of a stickler for rules, so perhaps she was being hypocritical.

T h e nXXagain, she had never murdered anybody, so perhaps she wasn't.

D e s p i t eXXthe drama going on around her, Lise's attention was dragged back to her own circle when Mason (Or 'Fall-Out Boy', as she liked to call him) queried Ani about her 'favourite person at camp.' Despite herself, Lise found herself surreptitiously listening in, curiosity riddled with something else caught in her expression. Ani's vague answer brought a small smirk to Lise's lips, and, satisfied, she took her attention back to the messiness around her. At least, until Ani rose from her seat, and Mason's issued yet another delightfully tantalising question.

XX"Do you feel jealous or possessive when your favourite is swept up in someone else?"

XX"For a self proclaimed dick, you're quite the gentleman. Oh, and by the way, I've never had that happen to me,"

S h eXXsmirked once more, only to scoff as the girl wandered off to join her brother.

XX"Bye, then. She sighed before standing and stretching, looking down towards Dimitri with a wan smile. "Well, then, Adonis. I'm afraid this party blows. I think I'mma make like a tree. " Expression bored, she gestured in the direction of her cabin with a silver-ringed thumb.

A n n i eXXhad never been the type to get caught up in drama, but even she could not help but watch the endless plot threads play out, nor could she avoid sensing the growing negativity of the party, as conflict loomed threateningly over every interaction.

I nXXall honesty, the bad vibes had started to stress her out, and she'd spent most of her time sipping on some peculiarly sweet beverage that Lise had pushed her way during Trinity and Theo's kiss. And then another. And another. Downing the remnants of the beverage, Annie silently rejoiced in feeling the bad vibes fall out of focus, blurring into something she could pretend was joyous rather than toxic.

A sXX Ani left the group to see her brother, Annie waved pointlessly at her retreating back, before leaning forward and placing her head in her hands. Her face, reflected in the bottle, was bright-eyed and rosy-cheeked, the latter a side-effect of the alcohol, the former a typical part of her features. With a finger, she twirled it, watching it spin with a soft smile, despite knowing that the game had already reached its conclusion.

T h eXX bottle slowed to a stop, pointing at the empty seat across from Annie, behind which a figure approached to lean across the circle.

XX"Annie, me and Gwen are going to walk back now, do you wanna come?"

T h eXX rising from the bottle, Annie hiccuped when she saw who it was, and after looking at him for a just a moment too long (easy, she assured herself, to blame on her dizziness... or maybe it was her dizziness. She wasn't too sure, in all honesty) she smiled. Widely. Liquid courage, it seemed, had gripped her.

XX"Yep!"

S h eXXstood up quickly, and a lightness flooded her head, causing her to stumble before she caught herself, giggling. Walking with only a slight wobble over to where Finley and and Gwen stood, she grinned once more, pointing wildly in the vague direction of the cabins.

XX"Let's go!"

"I doubt I'll be missed until the morning. Besides," Ajax replied, then placed a kiss upon her temple. "They have Alex around still." Andy continued to move and sway along with him while his gaze scanned the party. "Let's go," he whispered in her ear, followed by a kiss upon her cheek. He then took her hand and started to lead her away from the party.

Before they disappeared beyond the tree line, Andy glanced back over her shoulder towards the party. She caught Trinity's gaze as she prepared to swim. Andy smiled raising her free hand to wave back towards her friend. Her gaze then fell to Mason, but he was emerged in conversation with some new girls at camp. She smiled softly, before allowing herself to be lead back towards the cabin.

As she walked holding onto Ajax's hand, she hadn't quite noticed until that moment how much the alcohol had affected her. For the most part she was fairly sound aside from the occasional trip ups that she quickly recovered from. She didn't realize until they were there, that Ajax had lead her back to his cabin instead of hers. But once inside, the thought was quickly wiped from her mind.

When the door closed, Ajax wasted no time in pushing her back against the door. Andy smiled up at him as he leaned in towards her, his hand gentle brushing the hair back from her face before he pressed his lips deeply and passionately against her own. She didn't know if it was the alcohol or the moment that clouded her judgement. Andy breathed heavily through her nose as their lips never parted. As Ajax's hands ran down her arms, taking her clothing along with it, her skin quickly covered in goose flesh. She broke the kiss, breathing heavily as she held his gaze. Her hands ran down his chest, until they reached his waist. Andy's fingers grabbed the hem of his shirt and pulled it up, over his head. Her nose brushed against his softly as her arms wrapped around him, moving to her tip toes before pressing her lips to his once again.

Image

Andy was deep asleep, only awoken when Ajax's arms wrapped around her, pulling her back against his warm frame in a tender hug. Her hands moved to wrap around his arms that encircled her torso. "Morning, beautiful." She smiled, giving a content, tired moan, not yet wanting to open her eyes and face the morning. It had been the first night in months that she was able to sleep through the night without a dream of the Underworld or her brother's death robbing her of sleep. "Fancy some breakfast?"

She groaned slightly when Ajax left the bed, taking his warmth along with him. Andy brought the blankets in tighter to her. She nodded her head slightly, a soft smile gracing her lips. "That'd be nice," she mumbled quietly.

"You stay there, and I'll bring it up to you, babe. Scrambled eggs on toast okay?"

Andy slowly sat up, pushing off the bed. Her left hand holding the blankets to her chest as she stretched. She rubbed her eyes, nodding her head again with a yawn. "Sure, thanks." With a sigh, she brought her knees back to her chest, wrapping her arms around her legs as she looked over at Ajax, watching him get dressed. When he looked back towards her with a smile, she couldn't fight the slight blush that covered her own cheeks as she smiled back.

It took awhile from the cloudiness of sleep to unfog her mind as she sat there. But after a long moment, Andy began to realize she was in Ajax's cabin and not her own. Why did it take her so long to notice this? A sense of dread slowly over came her as she bit at her bottom lip, tightly shutting her eyes. She hoped maybe it was a different room, or her imagination playing tricks on her. But when she opened her eyes and looked around at the room, then the bed it was like a punch to the gut. She felt nauseous.

The minute Ajax left the room, Andy ripped the sheets off of her and climbed out of the bed. When she stood up, she stumbled slightly, bringing her hand to head. Of course she had a hang over. She sighed, taking a deep breath before searching his room for her clothes. As she found the different pieces, Andy quickly wiggled back into her clothing from the night before. She didn't waste her time with her stockings, cardigan or boots, instead scooping them in her arms before walking out of Ajax's room.

Andy felt the tears sting her eyes and she quickly descended the staircase. So focused on leaving, she missed one of the last steps, nearly falling before caught herself at the base of the staircase. When she reached the front door, her free hand reached out to grab the doorknob, but she froze. Her heart raced in her chest as she stared at the wooden surface before her. Stepping out that door, she'd have to make the walk of shame all the way back to her cabin. It wouldn't fool anyone as she carried half of her outfit from the night before in her hands, everything about her screaming the morning after. That's all she needed, rumors spread about her through camp.

The party had lost it's appeal for Wes, quickly getting absorbed in the view of the night's sky rather than watching more people kiss each other or whatever. He didn't want to get up and storm out of the party like a wounded puppy. But, it was definitely easier just not paying attention at all, rather than watching and pretending to be ok. His attention was so lost in his own thoughts, that he didn't hear someone approach. He jumped, nearly screaming when Kalani poked in her head in the line of his sight. "Oi dopey."

"Jesus!" His brows furrowed as he looked up at her. "I want a new sister, I demand a refund," Wes groaned as he rubbed his eyes.

"I'm tired, walk back with me?" Before Wes could give an answer or do anything, Kalani took his hand attempting to pull him to his feet. An amused grin covered his face as all of her effort didn't budge him an inch. If he wanted, he could have given his arm one quick tug and she would have been down on the ground in a blink. She finally huffed, seeming to give up.

"I kind of need that if you want me to get up?" Wes nodded his head towards his arm. Once she released his grip, he pushed off the ground and moved to his feet. He dusted off the sand from his clothes before he gave Ani a playful shove. "You're kind of annoying, you know that?"

He smiled towards her, motioning for her to come along as he slowly trudged towards the woods. Once Kalani was beside him, Wes draped his arm across her shoulders, walking in step with her as they headed to their cabins. He couldn't help but think about how short the party was. His gaze fell to the ground when he realized it was the first party they really had since the war. A lot of friendly faces not there to join in on the festivities, especially the camps number one partier, Daniel.

When they reached their cabins, Wes gave Ani a kiss on the top of the head followed by a hug. "Go get some sleep, weirdo. Not every day here is a party," he teased. "Chances are we'll be training. So, we'll need a good night's sleep to prepare to lose.... Horribly." He chuckled, waving towards her as he made his way up the steps to his cabin.

Wes was barely in his cabin and already kicking off his shoes, and tearing the beanie from his head. He used the heel of his foot to kick the door shut, then shuffled his way towards his bedroom. As he moved, he continued to strip different articles of clothing until he was down to his boxers. With one final yawn, he collapsed on his bed, and was out like a light in no time.

It seemed as though the party had died down in record time. Sylas sighed softly as he watched more and more people file off in groups, or better yet, pairs into the woods. He definitely noticed some interesting developments leave hand in hand, giggling. No doubt he knew there would some interesting walks of shame in the morning. He better remember to set an alarm, he wouldn't want to miss it. Especially... the most predominant couple that was one of the first to slip out for the night. None other than Ajax and Andy. What an amusing night indeed.

When Sylas' gaze drifted back to the spin the bottle game, he noticed that the circle had quickly dwindled to a poor connect the dots layout. He sighed, dusting dirt and sand off the thighs of his pants, preparing to leave. Just before he went to stand up, someone leaned down behind him. Sylas could feel the warmth of his breath tickle his ear. "See you around, Sylas," Mateo whispered.

Sylas glanced back over his shoulder with a mischievous grin. "Yes you will," he replied after the leaving male, while he didn't try to hide that he watched that ass move as Mateo walked away and disappeared into the woods. He ran his hand back through his hair, pushing off his knees as he stood up and left the nonexistent circle.

Dom gently reached out and took the book from her. After a moment of scanning the book, he gave Sloane a somewhat goofy smile, causing her to laugh slightly. "T-thank you. I promise I'll take good care of it. Or at least try not to give it frostbite again."

"Sure." Sloane's gaze followed Dom's as he looked at the dwindling party. She was somewhat relieved that it was ending fairly early. She wasn't in the mood to sit around at the beach until the early hours of the morning, although it was nice talking to someone who wasn't her brother. That hasn't happened since they came to camp. With a soft sigh, she hesitantly extended her hand towards his shoulder, allowing her palm to hover. "Do you mind?" she asked, before lightly resting her hand on him for support. Once stable, she slid her heels back onto her feet.

"I guess I better head back."

Sloane nodded her head. "Yeah, of course."

"It was lovely meeting you, hopefully we get to see each other again soon. I mean, I have to return the book so we'll have to- I guess it just depends on how long it takes me to read it." Sloane noticed he was rambling, but stood their patiently with a slight smile. Dom's cheeks started to flush before he stepped back and clutched the book to his chest. "I'll see you around," he added with a smile before disappearing abruptly like the first time they met.

"Bye," Sloane said softly towards him as he disappeared.

She adjusted the straps of her bag on her shoulders. As she went to head back to her cabin, she heard Sylas. "What in the hell was that?" Sloane tensed, and started towards her cabin, indifferent if her brother followed or not. But Sylas stayed in tow, his long legs not struggling to keep up. "I don't know who's more socially awkward... Him or you."

She sighed, rolling her eyes slightly. "Not everyone wants to pretend to be something they're not... Like you," Sloane replied, a sharp bite in her words.

Sylas stopped dead in his tracks, his hand quickly reaching out and grabbing Sloane's upper arm to stop her. "Watch what you say," he hissed as his gaze quickly checked the woods around them making sure no one overheard her. "We aren't here to make friends... If I go down, you go down with me."

"Oh yeah? Then what were you doing with Mateo Lopez?" With nothing more to say, Sloane yanked her arm free of her brother's grasp. She then quickly ascended the steps to her cabin, slamming the door behind her as she entered. With a sigh, she pivoted on her heels, locking the door.

Sloane made her way to her bedroom. She sat on her bed, removing her shoes and then placed them neatly in their place in her closet. She pulled her bag from her back, and opened it. For a brief moment she panicked, wondering if she left her book at the beach. Her interaction with her brother nearly erasing the memory of the conversation prior from her mind. She sighed with relief, remembering she lent it to Dom. She couldn't help but wonder what made her do that. Sloane had never been one to lend out anything of hers, especially books. She scratched her head before undressing and changing into her pajamas. She pulled down the covers and slid into bed. But, she wasn't tired. Instead she laid there on her side, staring out the window that showed hints of moonlight between the trees.

Harley looked to Raven's bottle that she lifted in gesture. "Who said I wasn't feeling festive?"

She chuckled and rose her hands in surrender. “My mistake. That's one festive activity checked. I also saw you dancing, playing spin the bottle, have a drinking competition with Elias here.” Harley reached a hand around and clapped the son of Ares on the shoulder with a grin. “You two are so rowdy and festive. Real party goers.” Of course Harley didn't really care how they expressed themselves at a party, that was up to them.

She poked her pal's side before the human traffic started moving away from the beach.

“Well that was possibly the shortest game and party known to men,” she commented. They couldn't all be energetic, upbeat souls. But it was probably best to call it quits before the drama unraveled and spoiled any good spirits. “Now, I best be off before any drunks misplace an item and point the finger in the easiest direction.” Harley tapped her own chest then yawned. She looked to Seung-min who had joined the circle not that long ago, the poor soul. At the same time she laughed. She could imagine her little half bro to be quite disappointed at the turn of events.

“See you beauts another day,” she said with a small wave and made her way to her cabin.

_________________________________________

The sun seemed to glare into Harley's eyes and she squinted and rolled her head into the pillow to fight the blinding light. She groaned and threw off her covers as her mind was awake now. She got changed into some lounge clothes and headed to the hall in hopes for some breakfast. Unlike some Harley didn't stock something as simple and essential as food in her cabin.

She had to admit, it was a bit chilly with a nip in the air but there were worse things to endure than the cold. Plus, it was game over the moment the water hit her hips. Trinity dived under the water instead so her bodies thermostat was the same. She played there for a while, long enough apparently that most of the party had dispersed except for the odd stragglers when she returned. Trinity flicked her hair back and smiled because no matter what, she did feel better for it.

A few steps up the beach and that moment of happiness was gone. Trinity turned rigid and her eyes wide. She looked around her, her head whipping from one side to the other. Her clothes weren't where they were originally and they weren't up the beach. “Where…” Her jaw set and she closed her eyes. That's what she got for trusting a bored Harley.

She walked back to her cabin with her arms crossed clutching her biceps. Once she was in the safe zone, she pursed her lips eyeing her sound system. A solo party in her bathers seemed pretty unconventional. Great idea.

Trinity stirred and rolled to her opposite side. Beginning the day at this hour felt like too much, probably due to the excessive drinking and late night. Her speakers still carried out her type of music. At least she could get up with a little motivation then. Another thought passed her mind and she threw off her covers and headed for the shower. She smelt like the beach and while that wasn't considered a bad smell in her books, the sand in her hair and company might have thought otherwise.

She promptly got changed, brushed her hair throwing it into a high ponytail, grit her teeth in the mirror and settled for a breath freshener opposed to brushing them seeing as she hadn't had breakfast yet and didn't want to spoil the most important meal of the day with toothpaste. Once satisfied, Trinity headed to Ken Dolls cabin.

It took a little longer than she liked, being slightly thrown off with all the new cabins and newly preoccupied ones, but eventually she found it again. Trinity knocked on Wes's cabin door. She had finally got him to agree to an arm wrestle, granted, a time wasn't specified and probably wasn't intended as first thing in the morning but Trinity was too excited. Kinda like Santa back in the day. Besides, she didn't ambush Wes at his cabin nearly as much as he did hers. And she thought the loss would be easier to bear in familiar, comfortable and safe territory. Trinity smirked to herself, moments away from laughing. If she sprouted such words to him, she could already see Wes smiling and making some witty retort. Then, her heart plummeted. What if he wasn't happy to see her? What if he was upset with her for joining spin the bottle and kissing the two individuals she had. Trinity started shuffling away from the door. This was a bad idea, waking Wes from beauty sleep when he could already be in a mood with her. “Shit,” she whispered to herself.

Andy had almost worked up the courage to go outside when she heard Ajax call out to her. "Andy..." She released the doorknob, raising her hand to cover her eyes as she tried to stop the tears. "...You were just going to leave without saying anything?" He sounded confused and hurt, but then it quickly turned to defensiveness and anger. "What, so you regret last night with me? is that it?"

"What?" Andy's voiced cracked as she slowly turned to face him. Her hands clutching her things to her chest almost like her lifeline. "No, never," she assured him, shaking her head slightly "...I'm hurt." She inhaled sharply, looking up at the ceiling, hoping it would stop the tears. For so long, Andy has bottled in her feelings about... everything. But, now they were boiling up in her and she couldn't contain it.

"I will never forget last night. Being with you... I've never been so happy." Andy raised her trembling hand, wiping her eyes as she looked down at the ground. "But when I woke up in your bed," her hand clutched at her abdomen as she tried to make words. "That bed where you slept with those two sluts, while I cried myself to sleep in the med hut after trading my life for yours in the Underworld..."

As Andy continued her breathing became more labored through the sobs. "Alex... She told me you'd never forgive me if sacrificed myself. But, I did it anyways because..." She took a deep breath. "I never expected to see the light of day again... Or you. Just knowing you were alive was enough." She sniffled, wiping her eyes. "You were mad at me that night and I get it... And I got up in the morning to go to your cabin. To explain why I did it, why I couldn't let you die." Her voice cracked, the mere thought of him dying only making this all worse.

Andy's hand raised, covering her eyes as she tried to steady her ragged breathing. It was a long moment before she was able to make words again. "But... When I got there, I saw those two girls come out of your cabin. Talking about the night they spent with you... And it... it killed me." Andy leaned back against the door as her knees grew weak. She dropped the things in her hands as she slid down until she was sitting on the ground. She brought her knees to her chest, burying her face in the palms of her hands.

"You acted like it never happened," Andy's voice was muffled from behind her hands. "You never said sorry..." She inhaled a shaky breathing. "And I just slept with you in that same bed." She slowly raised her head, blood shot, teared filled eyes meeting his. "I gave you my v-virginity in that bed." Her eyes searched his face, as she searched for what to say. "I don't want to be compared to that. I don't want you to be with me while thinking of them. I.... I'm not like them."

And then she grew silent. Andy couldn't believe everything just came flooding out of her like that all at once. She has tried not to hold a grudge about it, and to put the past behind her. But it just kept gnawing at her slowly. That's why she had never been with him before last night. Every time the thought came to her head she instantly got flashbacks of those two girls and it turned her stomach. It hurt. And what hurt most about it was the fact that Ajax never apologized for it. Never told her that she is what he wanted, not them.

After the long quiet pause, her tears had finally started to run dry. Andy took a deep breath, wiping her eyes one last time before she began trying to collect her things. She wasn't able to look up or meet his gaze. Her hands robotically pulled on each of her boots, slid her arms into her cardigan and stuffed the stockings in her pocket. But no matter how much she prepared herself to leave. Andy couldn't will herself to stand and walk out.

Wes snored, his left side of his body hanging off the edge of his bed. Then there was a knock on the door. In a whirlwind, he snapped awake, startled by the knock. The jolt caused him to roll off the edge of the bed, landing on the ground with a distasteful thud. Wes sat up abruptly, holding his hand out like Jackie Chan about to karate chop someone, even though his eyes were still shut. He groaned, tightly shutting his eyes as he raised his left hand to scratch the ruffled mess that was his hair. Who in the hell could want him at this hour? He swore if it was Ani, he was gonna... Well, do something.

He slowly stumbled to his feet. His left hand extended, catching himself just before his ribs slammed into the corner of his dresser. Wes made his way towards his front door with barely open eyes. He was almost there when he looked down and realized he was only in boxers. "Dammit," he groaned shuffling back to his bedroom. To be honest, he didn't care who saw him like that... but he didn't want to scar some unprepared newbie or something.

Wes plopped his butt down on the edge of his bed, and shoved his legs into a pair of pajama pants that were on the floor. That was enough effort. It was too hot for a shirt, and he had every intention of collapsing right back on that bed the moment he was alone again. If they didn't like the view of his fully exposed stump under his right shoulder... Well? Too bad. As he made his way back to the front door, he stretched and yawned one last time. Honestly, the person could have just walked right up into his cabin, it wasn't like Wes locked his doors... Ever. Probably a bad habit, but he didn't care. If someone really felt the need to get the drop on him, then by all means.

He reached out, opening the door to the crisp cool morning air. Wes flinched when he was hit with the fresh air like an unwelcome wake up call. He squinted his eyes through the sunlight, giving his sight a moment to adjust. Then he saw her, looking like she was second guessing her decision to come to his cabin. "Trin?" Wes asked confused, still groggy and waking up. Then it kind of hit him, it wasn't often she ambushed him at his cabin. So, like a switch, he was awake and alert... Or as alert as someone like him could be. "Is everything alright?" He then took a step towards her, moving out onto the porch while extending his hand towards her. "Are you ok?" His brows furrowed showing his concern.

Sloane didn't sleep much, if at all. She spent most of her night either staring up at the ceiling or out the window, watching as the moon passed overhead and the sunrise. When she finally rolled over to check the time for the millionth time that night, she decided she could no longer stay in bed. If she was lucky enough, maybe she could get up and out of her cabin before Sylas came creeping around. That wasn't on her list of things to deal with at the present moment.

After a good stretch, Sloane made her way to the bathroom. She started the shower, adjusting the temperature until it was the perfect luke-warmth she liked. She had never been a fan of heat, or being exceptionally hot and the shower was no different. She didn't waste her time under the water, instead simply doing her business and then got out. Wrapped in a towel, Sloane made her way to her closet, staring at all of her clothes. Honestly, she hadn't worn half of it. Her mother was always the one that insisted she dressed to impress constantly. But, for the first time in a long while, Sloane didn't feel like dressing like she had a silver spoon up her butt. After all, at camp she could finally be the person she is... Or at least try.

Sloane grabbed one of the more simple outfits her mother put in her wardrobe. At least it was jeans. She got tired of how often she was in dresses or heels. She quickly got dressed, then dug to the back of her closet for a pair of sneakers. On her way out of her cabin, Sloane snatched up her bag from the night before, sliding her leather bound journal in it before throwing the strap over her shoulder. She slid on a pair of sunglasses and exited her cabin, heading to the main hall.

It must have still been fairly early when she got there. The only other person Sloane saw was Harley as she made her way towards the food. One thing she definitely needed was a strong cup of coffee. She quickly fixed herself a rather large mug and snatched up a giant muffin before heading back outside. It was too nice of a day to stay inside, even just to eat. She sipped on her drink as she walked across the field until she found a nice tree. Sloane took her bag off her shoulder and set it on the ground before she sat down with her back against the trunk of the tree.

Shockingly, Sylas had been up and at it for awhile. Instead of bothering his sister, he decided that the morning was the perfect time for him to get a little work out in before the rest of the camp was up. Sloane was never the athletic type, especially when she was instantly taken under Eris' wing as a child. Eris never cared for the physical. She could manipulate people to do her own dirty work, so she never took the time in having Sloane train in any sort of combat. Sylas, on the other hand, wanted to surpass his sister's skills in every way possible, combat included. So, from a young age he put just as much attention into his physical prowess as he did his abilities.

Once the sun crested over the sunrise, Sylas was up and dressed. Outside his cabin he stretched, before taking off for a brisk morning jog. He ran laps around the cabins, using the forest's natural terrain as obstacles. Part of him was focused on his current task, but his inner demon couldn't help but watch the cabin's expectantly... Waiting for the morning after regrets to slowly come stalking out into the morning dusk. He was itching for some drama. So far the camp has been boring in that aspect. Sylas never found meddling quite as fun unless there was some amount of truth hidden underneath it all.

He slowly rounded the main hall, noticing a few stragglers making their way out into the day. Sylas was a bit surprised at one in particular that made him double take. It had been the first time in... Awhile, that he had seen Sloane in anything that wasn't a dress. At first he wondered if she was trying to impress someone, but that would be backwards, right? Women tend to dress nice to get someone's attention, not slum it in jeans and sneakers. He let his jog die down until he was walking, making his way towards his sister. "What's with the change in attire?" He reached down, snatching up her muffin from her lap, taking a large bite.

Sloane tried to grab the muffin from him, scoffing as she leaned back against the tree giving up. "Try wearing a dress and heels everyday and see how long it lasts," she replied to him, not sparing him a glance upward as she sipped from her coffee.

"Where's your book?" he asked with a mouthful of muffin.

"I don't read all the time, Sylas."

"Uh, yeah, you do." He squatted down a few feet away from her, resting his elbows on his knees as he took another bite.

Sloane sighed, tapping her fingers against the coffee mug in her hands. "I lent it to someone, if you must know." She sideways glanced at him.

Sylas' grin was cheshire like, creepy and menacing. The hand that help the muffin, pointed its index finger towards Sloane. "So the spider is spinning its web."

"I'm not doing anything," Sloane corrected, a sharp bite in her words.

He clicked his tongue against the side of his mouth, pushing off his knees so that he was standing. "Watch yourself, sis." Sylas put the last bit of the muffin in his mouth, and balled up the wrapper in his fist. "We're—"

"Not here to make friends. Yeah, I know," Sloane interrupted him, tired of hearing the same speech everyday.

Sylas' jaw clenched as he exhaled through his nose. He pursed his lips, tossing the balled up muffin wrapper into Sloane's coffee. "You don't need friends, Sloane. They'll drag you down... Make you sympathize and care. Especially, that Khione boy. All we need is each other. Friends are liabilities." He then leaned over, whispering in his sister's ear. "Get too close to them, and I'll prove it." He backed up, making intense eye contact with her. Sylas then plastered his face with his perfected fake smile. "Enjoy your coffee, sis." Then he left as quickly as he came, jogging off back into the woods.

Once Sylas was gone, Sloane looked down at her tainted coffee. Her jaw clenched in frustration before she poured out the drink and soggy muffin wrapper in the grass beside her. She sighed, inspecting the inside of the coffee mug, then set it on the ground. What appetite Sloane had, gone now.

Her eyes widened in shock as he opened his cabin door, not because she didn't expect to see him obviously, more that it was too late to bolt. And he was shirtless. He was in shape. He looked good. And he was confident, unafraid to show his biggest battle scar. "Trin?"

She gave him a tight smile and rose her brows expectantly, waiting for his lagging morning mind to confirm it for himself. "Is everything alright?" He asked once it had. He took a step towards her while his hand extended towards her. "Are you ok?"

She paused. So the only reason she visited Wes at his luxurious cabin was if something was wrong. Trinity wasn’t crying, she wasn’t bleeding, she wasn’t hurt, she didn’t even have her hands balled up into frustrated fists. Somehow, the notion burned. Deserved and fair maybe, but burned. Then again, she had grown particularly anxious to see Wes and his reaction towards her. “Yeah!” she answered abruptly getting out of her own head. Then she smiled and went on her tip toes, pointing pass Wesley's shoulder meekly to his cabin. “I’m actually just here to visit your little treasure trove. You're okay too, but uh...I really like your cabin.”

Trinity took his hand and grinned. “Stop fussing.” The size difference of their hands seemed comical. He had like big bear paws and she was like a little cub's.

She stepped into Wes's cabin. Everything in his cabin suddenly seemed like a diamond, she didn't want to dirty things or even sit on the furniture, afraid her rough nature was enough to break it so she lingered by the doorway, just taking it all in. Besides, he might not have liked her roaming around and making herself at home. He never did it to her, not that she would have minded, but she repaid that courtesy, it just felt right. To make sure she didn't seem too awkward, she spoke, as always. “Better hide those promiscuous girl pictures and magazines, huh Sleeping Beauty? Or is it all online these days?” Trinity did have an older brother so she knew what secrets lie in a young man's/boys room, even when she guessed Wes probably wasn't the type. He didn't need it. He could ask and receive but again, he wasn't the type.

Her hands came together and she cleared her throat. Trinity had marched to his cabin with a purpose and she needed to refocus on that goal. She padded carefully to the nearest table. “Now correct me if I'm wrong but a certain Ken doll agreed to an arm wrestle.” She rested her left elbow on the sturdy surface, hand raised awaiting his to lock in hers. Trinity bit her lip through a wicked grin.
