Here to give you a taste of true love.

Through a series of questionnaires, eBAE matches you to a profile that is one hundred percent compatible with you before creating the person of your dreams. Our profiles include an extensive list of fictional book and film characters. We even have some celebrities available, and the list expands daily. And yes-- they are fully functional humans, they even have heart beats (except, you know, Edward Cullen).
Then, we will take you to one of our very comfortable rooms, hook you up to our system, and take you into an alternate reality so that you can get the vacation you have always dreamed of with the person of your dreams. From a weekend getaway to months of true happiness, we at eBAE are so sure that you will love it, that if you are not completely satisfied, we will give you your money back!

How does it work?

Since people are matched up by the length of stay and vacation spot, they will all enter and leave at the same time (called a session). Each session will have a hostess (also a machine by eBAE with a human body) that sets up events and makes sure everything is perfect.

What happens when the system breaks?

Right. Eva, the hostess of this session (Estate #3948), is experiencing a malfunction that has not been detected by technicians. Things do not seem as terrible in the beginning. Incompatible matches might just appear like a nice challenge. But then, when an attack from mysterious creates and the message that they "will never leave" makes things worse, what will everyone do?

The puzzle pieces

Pair two: Male Human 1 + Female Bae 1
Pair three: Female Human 2 + Male Bae 2
Pair four: Male Human 2 + Female Bae 2
PAIR DESCRIPTIONS:
Pair one: She's a writer, unable to write her novel. She unwillingly takes her publicist's advice and goes to eBAE to get inspiration for her second book's male lead, doubtful since a perfect person never makes a memorable character. However, the system is broken. He is not perfect (maybe a little cold or a little evil at the core). What happens when he finds out that all she wanted was to use him? In the end, will he be her next character or her next "true" love?
Pair two: He's a rich bachelor who has been at eBAE before. His perfect match is an extrovert, party-going woman who he goes out with and has endless fun. However, the system is broken. This time, he gets a vacation spot that is not the city. This time, she's the type of girl that doesn't kiss on the first date and, frankly, is not wild like him at all. Will she tame him, or will he unleash her? Maybe a little bit of both.
Pair three: She's always studying or working, never really investing herself in love. When her long-distance boyfriend breaks things off with her, she decides that maybe all she needs is a vacation where the person she is with is there, present. However, the system is broken. While he is charming, he can also be a little distant at times. Will she break through his barriers? Will he fill the void she has in her heart?
Pair four: He is a hopeless romantic, investing himself fully in every relationship he is in. Unfortunately, every person he's been with has turned him down because of this. He hopes to find a woman who will be as much of a romantic as him. However, the system is broken. She is someone who doesn't believe in love. Will he learn that love like in the classics never exist, or will she learn that, maybe, even in an unperfect a pair perfect love can exist?
Notes: Descriptions are meant to outline, above all, the relationships between the characters. You are free to develop backgrounds and everything else (Baes have a full history because memories are implanted into their brains). All that matters is that at some point in their relationship there are large problems because they are not meant to be 100% compatible-- something that isn't supposed to happen in eBAE (this doesn't mean, however, that they aren't meant to be).
You can also choose if your bae's a made up person or, in this world, a celebrity or book/film character (they have to be original characters though, so you can get inspiration from books/films/celebrities, but they can't be like exactly Finnick Odair or Noah from The Notebook. You get the flow).

female human one
It was the first person she had seen in the since being hooked up apart from the driver who hadn't spoken a word to her, the red-haired Eva, who had introduced herself as the estate's hostess and completed her check-in, and a bellboy who had escorted her up to the assigned room she was now in. Of course, it had been an hour since her arrival and Renee had not left her room. Perhaps everyone else was already here and had just stayed in their rooms like she had.
With a sigh, she let go of the curtain and took a step back. The room was nice-- the dark wood, the white and burnt yellow accents, and the industrial design undeniably created the perfect room for the young writer. If it had not been for her greater purpose, Renee was sure to have spent her days lounging in the room, writing in the ocean of earth tones.
A beep! caught her attention and she walked over to the door. Next to the door, on the wall, was a screen with the words, Message from Eva, in bold letters. Renee had been told that she would have screens in her room from which she could order things, call the staff, and receive messages. It was one of the few things she had been told since arriving here, actually. Clicking on the bold letters, an invitation popped up:
You are cordially invited to an event in the back patio at seven.
Food will be served there.
- Eva, hostess
She looked at the time at the top of the screen. Seven-- that meant she had an hour and a half to get ready. The thought made her laugh. Get ready to meet a fictional person that she didn't even know how they looked. What had her life come to? And it was all for the sake of writing.
Francis drummed his fingers on the steering wheel of his car as he drove down the road. Despite all of his time in the country, he still had to tell himself to drive on the correct side. The butterflies in his stomach fluttered like mad as he drove. To distract himself, he turned on the car stereo.
"Hey!" a voice shrieked out, nearly causing him to wreck.
"My God!" he barked, "Jerry, you scared the daylights out of me! Wait, why can I hear you?"
"I called the phone in your car," he replied, "Are you there yet?"
"That's none of your business," Francis remarked matter-of-factly. He drummed his fingertips against the steering wheel in annoyance. "Remind me again, why am I going to this, again?"
"Because you're helplessly inexperienced in love," Jerry explained, laughing, "You can't expect to nab any romance roles if you have no experience with the fairer sex."
Francis groaned his reply, "Fine. I still can't believe that you talked me into this. I bet this woman I'm going to get paired with is some old crone with pop socks and fancies her bangers pre-chewed."
"Sorry, I can't understand anything you're saying. Speak English," Jerry joked.
"I'm hanging up, now," Francis fumbled about with the dials until the radio started up again. As soon as he was rid of Jerry's incessant whining, Francis spotted the mansion looming in the distance. He cut off the radio and pulled into the car park. Okay, Francis. This is no big deal. You're just an actor researching a role. It doesn't matter if she looks like the business end of a rabbit hole. You can handle anything that is thrown at you. After a few deep breaths, Francis stepped out of the car and headed into the mansion.
His breath was stolen by the pristine white walls, arching doorways, and shimmering glass chandelier that greeted him. He adjusted his sport jacket and headed towards the stairs. Groaning, he began his slow ascent, grumbling under his breath. Francis fished the invitation out of his pocket and looked at the instructions inside. Well, I get there can't be a lobby, since this isn't a hotel, he thought to himself. Francis made his way to the third floor, generally surprised by the lack of people in the mansion. Surely, someone must've seen him come in. The thought of big muscly attack dogs crossed his mind, but he shook his head. The violet pin that he received proved that he had every right to be there. Once he found his room number, Francis opened the door and stepped inside. The view from the window pointed out the back of the house, where he could see the faintest whisper of a beach in the distance. He breathed a sigh of relief. Francis stretched his arms high above his head and let out a long, low sigh. If nothing else, at least I can get a tan, he thought, a smile crossing his face.

The room itself was a little too fancy for her tastes, but she was in no position to complain. She hadn't paid for this trip herself, so she'd take whatever she was given while keeping her complaints to herself. She set her bag down by the bed and wasted no time at all picking off the unnecessary amount of pillows, tossing them to the far side of the room where they formed a messy pile, as well as the additional sheets/blankets that she knew she wouldn't need. Eventually she'd stripped it down to one pillow and one thin blanket, which she was much more pleased with.
She picked her bag up and placed it on the bed, zipping it open to reveal some rather questionable items. A pair of black gloves and a mask, both the same armoured material as the black clothes she was currently wearing, as well as knives, batons, handcuffs, and some formerly magical items that seem to have lost any semblance of it. There was even a small packet of biscuits in there just in case. She could only imagine that the food here would be as needlessly fancy as the rooms. Nothing at all like the simple meal of a hamburger and chips she'd grown used to. And at that thought, her stomach gave a low grumble. She'd likely have to venture out of her room soon enough.
Suddenly there was a loud beep from the other side of the room, causing Teddy to flinch slightly. She released a deep exhale and quietly reminded herself not to be so on edge, before her eyes scanned for the source of the noise. There was a screen beside the door that she hadn't noticed when she'd first arrived, and on it sat a message. "From Eva," she murmured, her eyes narrowing slightly. One quick tap on the notification brought up an invitation, which she read aloud. She was to attend some sort of meet-up at the estate's patio, where she could meet the people with whom she'd be living for the next month. Much that she knew the experience would be a terrible one, at least for her, she tried not to worry too much about it. Getting all stressed and cranky wouldn't help her situation.
After reaching down to check that the knife she'd been carrying was still tucked away in her boot, she felt adequately prepared to deal with whatever was beyond that door, and after taking a deep breath she turned the handle and stepped outside.
Teddy hadn't noticed the small box waiting outside the door of her room until she kicked it with the steel toe of her boot on the way out, sending it scuttling across the floor until it hit the adjacent wall. She gave a sigh as she bent to retrieve it, before lifting the lid to reveal a small red pin. According to the note, her designated "partner" for this meet-and-greet would be wearing one of the same colour. Fantastic, she thought. However, wearing the pin as it was meant to be worn would not be easy with these armoured clothes, so instead of clasping it to her coat she merely closed her fist around it and returned to close the door of her room.
It began to dawn on her how real this all was. Even before she went into hiding, social interaction had never been her forte. She was more likely to ignore someone and walk away than she was to entertain even the thought of being friendly. Yet here she was, on her way to meet a person with whom she was meant to chat and get to know. She gave a silent prayer to the poor soul that ended up with the other red pin...
Teddy had no intention of heading straight to the patio, where she imagined the rest of the guests would already be heading. Instead, she took her time wandering the halls, like she'd done with the lower floors upon arriving, familiarising herself with every hallway and door she came across in order to create something of a mental map of the estate. It's not that she expected anything to go wrong on this vacation, but it would be foolish for her not to prepare herself in the event that something bad did happen.
Before long she found herself nearing the patio, and noticed that she was the first to arrive there. Seems she hadn't spent nearly as much time perusing the halls as she'd thought. It was almost a relief, but she knew better than to let herself become too comfortable. The worst was yet to come.
Teddy stepped up to the banister and looked out at the garden with a huff. It was a gorgeous view, no doubt about that. Still she couldn't quite bring herself to appreciate it, what with the sudden sense of irritation that she hadn't bolted when the opportunity was staring her in the face. She couldn't even remember what had possessed her to turn up here in the first place, let alone what was actually keeping her here. Shaking her head, se unzipped her jacket and slowly removed it, revealing a pair of impressively muscular arms - one of which was inked entirely in nonsensical symbols and images - and strong shoulders that most would kill for. She slung her jacket over the back of a nearby chair, but didn't take a seat. Instead she returned to the banister and leaned her weight on it, eyes fixed on the view ahead.

"I can't believe it either," Kass reminded her friend, almost wearily. The two were polar opposites, in appearance, personality, and interests. While Kassia was short and fair-skinned with dark hair and green eyes, Anya was tall with an athlete's body. Kass' best friend sported blonde hair and a bit of a tan due to playing so many sports, and her eyes were as dark as obsidian.
They were different in demeanor as well. Kass was timid and reserved, but she was a hard-worker, and as Anya said, had a certain charm to her. While Anya was outgoing, relaxed, and had many friends, she couldn't exactly be described as charismatic. And of course, out of the two, Kass was the intellectual while Anya was the athlete.
"The only person who's less likely to use eBAE," Anya continued cheerily, "is that 16-year-old junior at your university with the high cheekbones and galaxy eyes. She's the genius who constantly commandeers motorcycles for fun but can still get away with it because of her older brother, right? What's her name? Aiden? Jayden?"
Kassia laughed quietly. "It's Kadyn, Anya," she reminded her friend. "She's popular in a way where everybody knows her and hates her. Technically, she has heterochromia. Although her eyes strangely resemble the crab nebula."
There was a pause at the other end of the line, and Kassia quickly hurried to explain. "Outer space, Anya. Not a meal or an animal."
Kass' blonde friend understood. "Oh," she stretched the vowel. "Yeah, okay. Anyway, this is so exciting! I'm so happy for you! Squee! You, Kassia Catarina Aiolfi, are finally finding love! Or as you would say, 'going on a simulated date.' But everyone will see that under all that studying, math, and science, you are such a sweetie!"
Kassia chuckled weakly.
"Relax, Kassie," Anya continued, no change in her tone. "I would tell you to calm down, but you're always calm. So relax."
"Thanks, Anya," the brunette said sincerely. "Oh, wait, I'm here. Thanks for chatting with me."
Kass heard a bright "You're welcome!" respond to her as she shut off her cell.
After that, it was all a blur. Kassia met the redhead hostess, Eva, and was escorted to her room, where she was currently. Her window faced the front, so she could see the cars pulling up. The actual room was decent by Kassia's standard. The interior design didn't really matter to her. It wasn't too posh, but it was fancy in a cozy way, with the browns, bricks, and lights.
A beeping sound caught her attention as Kass approached the door. Hmm, a message from Eva.
You are cordially invited to an event in the back patio at seven.
Food will be served there.
- Eva, hostess
According to the clock, Kass had half an hour to get ready. That wasn't a problem, Kassia wasn't one for extravagant clothing or makeup anyway.

While nobody else was particularly left questioning the rural location of the state, considering that they had never been at eBAE or that perhaps a rural state was indeed their perfect setting for this sort of thing, Leo had been shocked -confused and, really, sort of annoyed as well- when he found himself in a car riding down a dirt road through the countryside.
Like every other guest, Leopoldo had been approached by Eva upon his arrival. The hostess was different physically from the other hosts of the sessions he had gone to, but she had the same charisma and warmth that the hosts had.
He had been escorted up to his room and was glad to have found that at least his room was exactly like he always had: unharmonious with the estate's elegant decoration, his room white and modern-- cold compared to the rest of the house. Despite loving colors on his canvas, Leopoldo was very particular about the colors of his home and where he resided. The places had to be predominantly white-- it always made him feel a little calmer and cleaner. Which was not something very common in his life.
As the first to have arrived to the estate, Leopoldo had been here for several hours by now. He didn't worry about having seen no one else apart from those managing the estate since he had gone through all of this before, although it had been a hotel in the city and not in something as rural as this. What Leopoldo didn't know is that for him, the first glitch in the system had occurred. It was a minor thing: the first guest arriving hours before everyone else, since people usually arrived by increments of thirty minutes.
As the first to have arrived to the estate during the late hours of the morning, which was actually way before anyone else has arrived, Leopoldo had been at the estate for several hours by now. He had lingered around his room for sometime before deciding to open the blinds and look outside. His eyes rows raised slightly as he saw the green scenery. It was indeed beautiful and if he were a realism artists, he would have loved to paint the contrast of the white flowers in the garden below and the blue of the pool against the green. Well, maybe he would do something if he was inspired. Leopoldo always tried to put painting aside during these days since he came to forget the real world, but sometimes he was extremely inclined to do it.
After contemplating the view for a few minutes, he had walked back to his room and laid down on the mattress. It would just be a matter of time until he got a message from Eva about the meet-and-greet where he would meet his partner for the time being. Maybe all of the estate just for staying during the day and he could drive to the city or something to party. The thought of actually being here did not cross his mind because he figured that maybe something in his profile had changed and that everything would eventually work out.
Leopoldo really hadn't been worried about finding the estate basically empty. He knew it usually was like this and had decided to take a walk through the gardens. It was through his smart watch that Leo received the message from Eva. Although he knew there was the meet-and-greet, he still needed to know what time it was at.
He had already received his pin since they were placed at each door shortly after each person arrived. It was red-- a color he found very fitting. Leopoldo had pinned it to his white collared shirts, which he had pair with dark blue slacks, and had headed out. Now, looking down at his watch, Leopoldo saw that it was time. He always waited like ten minutes to actually get there, knowing that sometimes his partner, Erica, which had been the same Bae he had met since his first time, was late.
When he finally got to the patio, Leopoldo began to look for her. He frowned, wondering what had happened when a flash of red caught his eye.
"What?" he asked under his breath, a frown forming on his face. This was not Erica.
Before she could see him, Leopoldo took off his pin and slipped it into his pocket. He took some time to approach the woman actually and managed to quickly pass down two glasses of champagne from one of the waiters, which he knew wouldn't actually do anything to him but he needed to drink something.
Leopoldo wasn't sure what was going on-- why would she have the same pin? It was definitely the same color.
He kept glancing over at her throughout these few minutes, however, and after a moment he finally began walking towards her.
"Hello miss," he finally said when he was close enough. There was still a certain coldness in his state, although this wasn't too unusual with his personality, but there was a lopsided smile on his lips. "It seems like we have been given the same pin," he added, pulling his out from his pocket.

Best make the most of it while I'm here then, he thought to himself, peering out of the window to see if they were any closer to their destination.
At the end of the day, Simon was simply too excited - and far too foolishly optimistic - to regret his decision to come here. Above all else, he just needed a vacation. A break from the stresses of family, work, and dating any girl that would have him. The prospect of meeting a young woman specifically designed to suit his romantic needs had taken a sort of backseat the second he laid eyes on the estate. Of course he was still looking forward to that part -- he's only human, after all.
When he walked through the doors, he was greeted by the apparent hostess of this session, a woman who had introduced herself as Eva. It was all a little unsettling, but he did try his best to be polite. There were several moments where he would stare a little too long, or give a delayed reply to a question or statement. Thankfully the situation was over quickly, though he was left with some small doubt that he would be just as uncomfortable in the presence of his assigned Bae.
After the check-in process had been completed, he was escorted to his room on the second floor of the estate by one of its bellboys, who had taken it upon himself to cart around Simon's larger-than-normal suitcase. It was his nature to over-prepare for everything, and since they'd be here for a month or so he knew that packing light wouldn't be the smartest idea. He carried his own smaller bags, however.
As soon as the door closed behind him, Simon released the handle of his suitcase, set the additional bags down on the floor beside it, and ventured further into the room, smiling in appreciation of its design. It was a lot fancier than anything he'd ever experienced in his life, so to say the absolute least he was in heaven. He could really get used to being here.
He was in the process of freshening up in the bathroom when the notification came through to his room, and he looked up in confusion for a moment before setting down his toothbrush and peering around the doorway. The screen beside his door that had previously been blank upon entering was now alight with a single message, which held an invitation to the day's meet-and-greet. It came sooner than he expected, but he was glad for it nonetheless.
After checking himself once more in the mirror, Simon eventually left his room, closing the door behind himself. There was a small white box sitting at his feet when he turned around. He wondered for the briefest moment who had left it there; he hadn't heard anyone outside of his room in all that time. Picking it up, he inspected its contents only to find a set of instructions and a green pin, which he proceeded to pin to the right side of his chest; the green standing out against the deep blue of his tight shirt.
Navigating the halls of the estate was no easy task for Simon, but off to the meet-and-greet he went, curious to discover who would be waiting for him when he did arrive.

"Hello miss," came a voice from behind her. Teddy turned only her head at first, peering over her bare shoulder to see a young man in his twenties looking in her direction. Her eyes traced his features for the briefest of moments, before he spoke up again. "It seems like we have been given the same pin," he added. She shifted her focus to the red pin he now held in his hand, pursing her lips at the sight of it. For whatever reason, she glanced at her own pin as if she hoped it would have miraculously changed colour in the time it took her to explore the manor. But alas, it was still red. This man was to be her partner for the meet-and-greet. The moment had finally arrived, and there was no escaping it.
At this realisation, she straightened up until she was no longer leaning on the railings and turned to face him fully, giving an almost inaudible sigh as she did so. He was a handsome lad in his own right; a little short for her tastes, in truth, and she'd never been a fan of facial hair in general. Other than that he wasn't too shabby to look at. Not that it mattered, of course. She wasn't here to meet someone.
Every instinct in her mind and body was telling her to shut this conversation down before it had the chance to progress further, mostly because she had the strangest feeling that this guy wasn't the sort she could get along with easily. Teddy was no fool -- there was something hidden behind that smile he wore, something in his eyes that hinted maybe she wasn't what he'd been hoping or looking for. Still, she knew she shouldn't jump to conclusions without even giving him a chance, as well as acknowledging that she was being the biggest hypocrite in the world for judging his cold demeanour.
Friendly, Ted. You should at least try to be friendly, she reminded herself, and wondered briefly if she even knew how.
With as much effort as she could muster in this situation, Teddy forced a smile to lift the corners of her lips, though it was gone as quickly as it had appeared and her expression relaxed into the usual soft frown she wore every second of every day. "Ah, yes... I s'pose nice to meet ye'," she replied, her strong Irish vocals filling the brief silence that had fallen between them. She gave a short nod as she spoke, shifting until she was leaning with her back against the railing and her arms were crossed against her chest. "Name's Theodora," she informed him. "Ye' can call me Teddy or Theo, I really don't care which."
She wasn't particularly fond of nor familiar with gestures and non-violent physical contact but part of her debated whether or not to extend a hand for him to shake, halted only by the fear that he'd think she was odd if she did. This situation really didn't need to get any more uncomfortable for her.
"What's your name then, lad?" she asked, not because she genuinely wanted to know -- it was mostly out of common courtesy at this point.

Of course, of course, OF COURSE he would be late. Why wouldn't he be late for the meet and greet. It's not like he wasn't just sitting in his room, with his thumbs up his ass for the past however long it was. "Damn." he grunted as he looked down at his wrist. "watch is broken again, should just throw this old thing away." he muttered and continued down the hall with the speed of a jackrabbit. His father's words came to mind as he was rushing down the hallway. "Punctuality, Alexander Punctuality."
He typically is pretty good, at being on time so this was very odd for Alex. For some reason he just kept dragging his feet today, and just couldn't bring himself to get down to this little party on time. When he got to the doors, he stopped took a deep breath and smiled before heading inside.
As soon as he entered the room, he sheepishly found himself finding the nearest waiter and quickly and with much ferocity grabbing the first drink he could find and gulping in one fast and swift motion. Confidence Alex keep it cool and stay confident. Suddenly hitting him like a bag of rocks, he realized something missing from his person. With a big smile, he started chuckling in an uncontrollable manor. Pinching the bridge of his nose, he closed his eyes trying to hold in the laughter. After finely making it to the party, and somehow navigating the hallways of the estate, he realized he'd left the damn pin he was supposed to wear in his room, on his dresser under a copy of King Lear. He found a table and debated for a quick second, whether the little pin was really that important that he needed to go all the way back up to his room just to retrieve it.

She had a very difficult time with love and romance. Over the last twenty years of her life, only one person had even caught her attention. And he also happened to be her long-term boyfriend who broke things off after four months.
Then again, Kass couldn't exactly blame said boyfriend. To be honest, she wasn't a very good girlfriend to Brandon - it wasn't exactly a Sherlock Holmes mystery. She spent all her time studying, because after all, Kass was admittedly not a natural genius. Her IQ was only around 135 at most. To some, that might be quite high, but to Kassia, it was a mere average or even worse. Einstein's IQ was around 160. Sir Isaac Newton's IQ was definitely somewhere around 190. Heck, Leonardo Da Vinci had an IQ of 220 at the least - anything higher than 200 is deemed immeasurable genius.
But Kassia Aiolfi was not the type of person who'd let a low IQ stop her from achieving her goals. She studied so much for a good reason. Getting into and becoming one of the top students of Massachusetts Institute of Technology was definitely not enough though.
Kass sincerely hoped that eBAE was smart enough to craft her a highly intelligent date.
Suddenly, out of the blue, someone had started laughing in an almost maniacal manner; to say that Kass was irked out by the blonde, blue-eyed giggler was an understatement. Good, Kassia thought to herself, relieved. I don't see a blue pin on him. He's not my date. After all, why would he be? eBAE is known for making their clients perfect dates.
After a quick scan, Kassia realized that Blondie wasn't wearing a pin at all. That can't be right, she thought. The most possible explanation is that he had forgotten his pin in his room. If that was true, than that meant Blondie could very well be Kassia's date after all. At that thought, Kass had muttered out an uncharacteristic statement under her breath as she turned towards a wall, champagne glass to her lips.
"Oh, shit."

What an odd way to pair people up, Renne thought. As a writer, she would've written this moment differently. Of course, she supposed this was a way for the system to speed things up, considering that not every vacation was as long as this session.
With a small sigh, she stepped out. The patio was decorated very minimally, with small lights creating an atmosphere between darkness and light that made everything seem warmer. There were several people walking around with drinks and Renee was quick to grab a sparkling drink for herself. She wasn't one to break rules in terms of drinking but here in eBAE things were different. Or at least Renee hoped since she hadn't been told not to do it since she supposed it would have no actual effect on her real body.
Grimacing a little at the taste of alcohol, Renee was reminded why she didn't even care to drink in the first place when she visited France.
So, she put her drink back into a tray to be taken away. Renee had better things to do than stand around and drink something she didn't like. She needed to find whoever had that purple pin.
"What," he mumbled into it.
"Hey buddy! Have you seen her, yet? Does she look like a troll?" Jerry yipped excitedly. A Francis' heart jumped into his throat. He looked at the clock on his phone.
"Yeah, she's bloody hideous. Look, mate, I gotta go," he quickly hung up the phone before Jerry could reply. Francis jumped up off of the bed and frantically threw his clothes on, cursing to himself. Since he had arrived early, he must've dozed off while waiting for the party to begin. Francis, you perfect idiot. There's no way she'll let you live this down. Way to make an impression. Throwing his sport jacket on, he ripped the door open and quickly sprinted down the hall. Francis tore down the stairs, avoiding eye contact with the mansion's staff as he passed. He stopped in the hall outside of the meeting area, gasping for breath. Looking around to make sure no one could see him, he smoothed out his ruffled feathers and stepped out towards the back patio with a confident swagger. As he walked, he caught glimpses of others wearing pins that weren't the same colour as his own. His heart sank. I left the bloody thing in my room! I bet I did. Trying to be as subtle as possible, Francis fished through his pockets for the violet pin. His fingers closed around a cold bit of metal, and he breathed a quiet sigh of relief.
As Francis stepped out onto the back patio, he caught a glimpse of a woman sipping some alcohol. He stifled a laugh at the sour expression on her face. He watched with a passing curiosity as she set the glass back onto a server's tray. As the staff member walked past, he reached out and grabbed a fresh glass for himself and headed over towards her. Thanks to the low light, Francis couldn't see if she was wearing a pin, not to mention what colour it might be. Shrugging, he approached her. Might as well have a bit of fun while I wait for my date, eh?
"Hey," he greeted her. Francis stepped past her, his eyes gazing off into the distance. "You drink that bubbly like you're a teenager," he laughed. He placed his free hand on the railing, brushing the fairy lights wrapped around it to the side. Francis took a long sip of his champagne, trying his best not to wrinkle his nose in disgust. This is, perhaps, the worst champagne on the planet he thought, gritting his teeth. He turned to the woman, smiling.
"Are you here for the 'romantic getaway', or did I catch you on your break?" he inquired.

And you can have them together. I was going to add Renee's second post right away but I had to leave and just got back so wanted to just get it up there.
Re: eBAE
Also, would it be alright if I made this into a double post for Simon and Teddy, or did you want me to wait a bit before posting again for her? I only ask because Ted's response post is finished, I was just gonna add it onto the end of Simon's, if that's okay with you.
Re: eBAE
I'm still on my cell but hopefully I can get Leo up soon.

Re: eBAE
Everyone will receive the message and see a pin of a certain color (they'll see the same color on someone else, their assigned person, and hopefully start talking). I just randomly chose them since they don't really matter.
Pair one: Purple
Pair two: Red
Pair three: Blue
Pair four: Green
I've decided that Humans will be on the second floor rooms and baes on the third floor.
I don't expect everyone to write novel-long posts, but please try to keep to at least 300 words. Feel free to PM your partners if you need to discuss anything, and also don't be afraid to have all of the characters interact with each other.
I'm also going to go ahead and make an announcements/answered questions topic so it's easier to keep track. Be sure to continue looking at the OOC for any important info.
Can't wait to see what you guys bring to the table ^^
Re: eBAE
@Everyone I'm at a family's house without my computer for the weekend, I'm sorry I haven't been able to post! It'll be coming soon!
Re: eBAE
One more question...hopefully :) Where do the Baes wake up after they are made? I,mean clealy they haven't the foggiest about what's going on but they have their own implanted memories and personalities, so I image the creators of the system puts them somewhere after they are made, so they do 't see where they were made, that they were made in the first place and blow the whole thing.
Or maybe I'm reading too much into this haha *sheepish*
Re: eBAE
@Abu They can all arrive around the same time with some intervals in between, but I'm thinking around afternoon so it's not like they get a lot of time to walk around the estate before going to the meet and greet.
Re: eBAE
Also, just throwing another small question into the mix. Since they're basically being hooked up to a server, will all the participants of this "meet-and-greet" arrive at the estate at the same time, or at various times throughout the (I assume) morning?
