Description
He is a tall black wolf with burning red eyes. He has red come down from his muzzle and his right front leg is red from paw up to elbow, almost looking like fire. He has red streaks in his tail. He is a large wolf, almost 3 feet off the ground. His dark fur is smooth, and almost silk like. His red eyes are outlined with a black, thin line. He has long back claws which have white tips.
Personality
Death is his middle name. He's very aggressive and doesn't like new wolves. He hate trespassers, and is not afraid to kill if he has to. He's very mean, except, he can have a small soft side. He will give pity upon wolves that he thinks has proven to get it from him. He isn't looking for a mate, he's rather stick to the shadows, and watch other wolves. He is fast at blaming people, and doesn't like to listen to reasoning all that much. He's a quick thinker, but quicker on his feet, he'd rather fight than talk. He hates getting beat in a fight. He doesn't take lightly to be wrong.
Equipment
His ability to control shadows and to turn almost into shadows has given him some reign over when he is seen and when he is not. He has some control over how dark an area gets. Also some control over darkness.
History
Mydnyte was born to the Darkness pack and grew up here. He never left, for he fought his way to stay within the pack. He was born an only pup, which is strange, but he doesn't care that much. He grew to love the darkness of the forest, and soon his vision of seeing in the dark was at its peak. He lurks in the shadows most of the time. As a pup, he learned how to sneak away from his mother and father. When he was running the forest he had come upon another wolf, trespassing in the territory. He didn't know who this wolf was, for he had never met another wolf other than his pack. This wolf had challenged the leader of the pack. This wolf killed the leader, and then...Mydnyte's parents. Mydnyte has turned cold and dangerous since then. He has never felt love before and doesn't know what kindness means anymore. He wandered the world after this looking for a place to call his own, but has only heard of rumors of a second Kamarian pack. This pack he hopes to join and sees that he will only be able to join it probably if he has something to offer. For this reason he has gone into the business of taking other packs' lands.
So begins...
Mydnyte looks around, ears flicking
Mydnyte saw no one in sight, so he decided to move no from this place. Like a sleek shadow in the night he crossed the snow covered hills around him and headed into Nigerius. This land was the most populated with wolves as far as he could remember and he needed to complete his ongoing quest. Whatever that was. He didn't know why, but Sharikere Mountains really caused him to have brain freezes. He figured he must have done something previously like drink a bucket bucket worth of frozen water. That would have been a terrible think to do because his tongue would have stuck to the ice.
Mydnyte entered into the Nigerius lands and as he did he came across the cave Nova and Cerise were at. He bent his nose down and sniffed, "Other wolves...." he stated as he lifted his head and showed his teeth.
"I suppose I should drop in and greet them. That would be a great way to see their skills." he said to himself as he approached the cave and growled. He was sure the wolves inside would hear him and come out. Then he could challenge them.
"I'm walking around here looking for someone to challenge. The world is in chaos and only one wolf pack can be the type to set the example of "greatest pack" I'm hoping I can take this spot as my own." Mydnyte answered her with a tooth grin. He raised his tail and let it stand up menacingly. "Now, if you're not willing to take me on perhaps there is someone else here who has laid claim to this land? Because I really want it for myself." Her eyes were looking away from him and her tail was lowered between her legs. She was certainly not wanting to start an argument, but he wished to and he would have his fight.
(I hope I'm not doing anything too ridiculous.)
"Wow, such big wings you giant chicken." Mydnyte voiced as he watched Cerise's wings unfold. "Your stupid defiant stance isn't going to make me leave. It's just going to make me want to tear off those huge bird wings of yours even more."
Mydnyte crouched and lunged at Cerise. He aimed for her right wing and opened jaws hoping to tear off a part of it. The fight had begun and although he heard she had friends based on the usage of "we" in her speech that was not going to stop him either. Mydnyte was filled with a desire, a desire to reestablish the honor he had lost oh so long ago and no wolf was going to tell him what to do.
Mydnyte's attack landed successfully as shown by the pool of blood now coming out of Cerise's right wing. He barely had time to respond as she dove down at him and bit into his back. Mydnyte growled in pain before using his powers to meld into the shadows and reappear behind her.
"I'm the king of the night. The darkness is my friend and with it I shall bring you into despair so you can join the happy family I like to call evil. Evil shall rain supreme and with it young wolves will learn to tear each other apart." he whispered into the night. He spoke these words to distract himself from the pain he emanating from his back blood rolled down his flanks and seeped into the ground. The fervor for battle had just begun.
"You win," Mydnyte said as he suddenly felt himself pinned down. "Now let me go, or else." Despite Cerise's elegant looking appearance she seemed quite powerful and the wings she had looked quite menacing. Her white fur gleamed in the moonlight for a moment and captivated him before he repeated again, "Let me go, or else."
Mydnyte knew he could use his powers at any moment, but that would be far too easy for him.
"I'm just going about wherever I please. Now, if you don't mind. I'm going to leave." Mydnyte stated as he got up from the ground. He turned and said, "If you want to you can stop me, I'm sure you have a lot of questions. But I'm only here for your land and a good fight."
"Where am I going? You can obviously see I'm leaving Miss Avira Wolf. I'm not going to stick around because I've heard about your kind's principles from other wolves distantly and I'm not about to sit hear and have a chit chat being your friend. I just tried to kill you, so you should go back to whatever you were doing and leave me alone." Mydnyte answered her as he put a paw firmly down onto the ground and scratched an x in the dirt.
"Think of this territory as mine from now on. I'll be coming back to take it from you once I figure out how to beat you and whoever else is with you." Mydnyte growled as he lifted his tail from the base of his rump and let it hang behind him. He wished to express self-assurance, but aggression to show he'd follow through with his actions.
Mydnyte sunk into the ground using the shadows around him and appeared at the cave entrance where light had cast itself upon the floor to create some shadows. "I suppose that was rude of me..." he said as he came out of the shadows at the cave entrance. "I am called Mydnyte, and I've come to think I can't let you go back into your spooky cave by yourself. Who knows how you'd go about ruining my future property as I really want to own your cave too. It makes for a perfect place for me to live here."
"You say it's temporary? In that case I'll stay the night. I'm not about to leave if you're going to be leaving in a while." Mydnyte answered. He lay down at the front of the cave and ignored Cerise's warning. He did not want to move at all.
"What is it with you and pinning me down?" Mydnyte asked as he found himself under Cerise's paws again. He was sure he could escape, but felt like taunting her. "Do you like me?" he jeered. "I'm not leaving you know since you've told me now that this place is only temporary for you."
"Okay, okay. I was kidding." Mydnyte answered Cerise using all the force in his body to push her off of him. His fore paws knocked her paws away from his throat. "You're really defensive, although I did try to take your territory and still want to. I'll just wait here and see who else claims this spot besides you." He said as he stood up and looked around.
"Well, if I don't want to go and you're just going to keep getting angry about it what do you expect me to do?" Mydnyte asked as he glared at her. He bared his teeth at her seeing that she was angry at him for what he had been doing in her supposed area.
Mydnyte walked outside, found a large boulder, climbed and lay down. Slowly he fell into a deep sleep. Although the rock was sharp and pointy he was used to more harsh means than most wolves.
While sleeping Mydnyte heard the sound of soft foots prints approaching the cave he was sleeping outside, no thanks to Cerise, and awoke to listen and figure out who was coming towards them. He hoped it was someone Cerise knew so he could get the whole mess he had gotten himself into absolved. He waited patiently for whoever was approaching being slightly on. His legs were spread wide apart and his body lowered down with head low so he could quickly jump if need be.
He left this spot after a while which is how he ended up in the icy mountains and where his story continues.
Mydnyte came out his lunging stance after hearing the sounds of many wolves running about during the night. "Just what the heck is going on?" he though as he leapt off the rock he was on and headed towards the cave that Cerise claimed. He came to the entrance and looked inside he couldn't stay long, who knows what Cerise would try to do to him, but when he looked inside he found himself looking upon a black wolf with maroon tinted fur. He had a blanket over him him and was receiving great treatment from Cerise!
"What is this!" he gawked to himself as he glanced and saw Cerise sleeping on a pillow nearby. "All the wolves here get blankets and I have to sleep on a rock! This isn't fair!"
He began to growl unexpectedly and bare his fangs. He would finish his fight with Cerise and take this cave. She claimed this was only a temporary home for all her wolf friends, but now it appeared to him a permanent residence. He scratched his front left paw against the ground like a bull would its hoof and hoped his noise would wake someone. He was not about to take this humiliation to heart.
A large shadow grew around his body and formed into a giant claw. He would envelop the tired wolves in darkness and make them fear the night once and for all. This cave would be his.
BattleDemon arrived at the cave, saw Midnight and glared at Cerise. "Don't you know anything about the words, 'Stranger Danger?" She looked at midnight growled and took a menacing step forward already seeing his whole life line as she looked into his eyes. "You should stop before you get hurt. I suggest you leave and get out of my cave before I claw your eyes out, shove them down your throat and have you watch as I tear you body to shreds." Her voice was sweet but full of anger and hatred. She disliked shadow wolves and finding one in her home wasn't on her list of things to see. Unlike Cerise, she knew what she was doing, getting into a fight with a shadow wolf. The odd were about fifty-fifty but she was in a rage right now which would give her an advantage in a fight. Raising her tail, showing her status she bared her teeth. "Now you either move.... or explain yourself"
Mydnyte managed to dodge Cerise's attack by leaping back somehow, but the second black and maroon colored wolf lunged at him and managed to sink his teeth in his shoulder blade. Mydnyte roughly shook his shoulder knocking the wolf's jaws out of his fur. It left a deep gash in fur. The shadows that Mydnyte used dissipated as he weakened slightly.
To make matters worse a third wolf had appeared and said, "You should stop before you get hurt. I suggest you leave and get out of my cave before I claw your eyes out, shove them down your throat and have you watch as I tear you body to shreds." She raised her tail at him and bared her teeth before adding, "Now you either move.... or explain yourself."
Mydnyte paused with his fighting and looked this black wolf with one milky white eye and one blue eye said, "So the true owner of this cave has finally come home, eh Miss Alva? You and your friends are rather hostile. I wanted to take this place for my own at first, but then I was met by one of the wolves in your group named Cerise. I attacked her thinking she was here alone and injured her, but I backed off and she injured me in return. We came around to telling a little bit of our histories to each other I suppose, yet even after hearing that this cave was going to only be a temporary home for you all I was not permitted to stay the night and keep this cave the following morning."
Mydnyte turned his head and looked at the x on the ground that he had drawn earlier that was no more than ten feet or so from the entrance to the cave. He had to twist around a little bit to do this. "If you look at the ground over where my head is turned you will see my mark. I have marked this territory in hopes that once you leave I can keep it. I'm only coming back here because I saw strange wolves walking around, primarily the guy that just bit my shoulder."
He glared at the Strigoi wolf shinobi and bared his fangs before turning back to BattleDemon. "I couldn't have anything happen to territory that may eventually be mine. The only problem I suppose other than this is that Cerise refuses to believe that I can claim your territory on the day that you leave. I'd like to first take a nap."
Mydnyte collapsed to the ground as Shinobi's paralyzing bite took hold of him. Mydnyte's last words before he lost consciousness as well were, "You better let me come to some agreement with you, oh owner of this cave."
(I hope I role played this out well enough and included everyone. I was hoping to get as many wolves into a single post as I could. Well, in terms of those who were directing their actions towards Mydnyte. I'm rather sorry if people don't like a wolf imposing on the cave dwelling. I just figured that since Mydnyte is a loner travelling the world all by himself he would want to maybe have a place to come back to and rest. Based on what what posted by the last owner of him I'm sure that I've done an okay job portraying his kind, but I'd like suggestions if you all think otherwise.)
(It's fine. You do realize he's unconscious. I'll just be sure to stat that better now.)
As Mydnyte was dragged into the cave by his tail he barely felt it. He was unconscious and could not move anyway. So with that there was definitely no way he could escape or even know what was happening to him now.
Mydnyte woke groggily to a feeling of darkness surrounding him. Am I back home? he pondered thinking of the dark valleys of his Kamarian homeland. Everything he remembered from there had been covered in pitch black shadows because no light ever got below the rim of the canyon entrances. He slowly stood up and remembered that he was in the cave owned by Cerise, or well, BattleDemon now. It bothered him that he was now their prisoner. His only question was where they all were. He looked around and did not see anyone.
After not seeing anyone he decided that he would leave. If there was no one around they probably weren't able to stop him at this moment. He knew they would if they were, so he noted this may be his only time to escape. He trotted towards the entrance of the cave where light streamed through the mouth of it.
"I see a light at the end of the tunnel." he muttered to himself as he used the old adage to describe his situation. But was it really okay? Could he just walk out of the place he was in and suffer no consequences from it? Well, he supposed he could and then hope for the best. He sniffed around with his nose in the air and did not smell anyone, which relieved his suspicions about the other wolves guarding him. It was time to go though.
Mydnyte walked out of the cave he was in and wandered through the wilderness in Nigerius wondering if anyone had noticed he had escaped. It was quite odd that no wolves were following him as he walked along forested area. Surely the wolves who had owned the cave would come after him, right? He hadn't done much since he had escaped so maybe they didn't sense some kind of trail coming from him?
This was good he felt because he could leave and report back to his boss Kaveh, well at least his associate. He thought about the word boss and decided associate was a better term considering he didn't like the guy, but needed to have a pack eventually. Otherwise, he'd lose the chance to have anything at all.
"Hm... Actually, I shouldn't go back he'd kill me too." Mydnyte second guessed himself. as he paused at stream to take a drink of water. "I like being alone after all."
Nova felt a chill in the air, and was enlightened to discover that a steady gale was beginning to descend on the valley in which he was trekking. The sudden frostiness of the air did not bother the Ausi wolf, though the possible implications did. A storm was brewing, North by Northwest of his position he judged by the remaining of the sun he saw, and Nova remembered what happened last time he was caught out in bad weather. But he had no where to take shelter, at least, he had not discovered any yet. He continued on, hoping that he would be able to seek refuge before the storm began to rage upon him.
Nova came to a river, and careless from want of drink, he walked straight into the clearing that it inhabited in order to sate his thirst. After looking up from his drink, he was astonished to realize that he had come rather close to running into a fellow wolf who had stopped at this river as well, who was no more than fifty meters from him. He had by no doubt noticed Nova by now, and Nova took this moment to asses him. He was a Kamarian, a sturdily built one at that. With dark black fur intermixed with an occasional streak of red, he was quite an intimidating looking fellow, especially considering he was somewhat larger than Nova. Wiping his mouth was his paw, Nova stopped to watch the Kamarian, waiting to see if the black wolf would let him leave in peace. No use getting himself stabbed in the back while he walked away.
Mydnyte raised his head and saw an Ausi wolf fifty meters from where he had been drinking. At leas the thought it was an Ausi wolf, his eyes seemed to a reserved look as if waiting for him. That was a trait Mydnyte knew Ausi wolves had in common, but this one was wearing a sandy brown pelt. There was one type of wolf though he knew came from the deserts of their world and he could be one of them. He decided to ask it a few questions.
"What are you doing so far from home?" he asked nonchalantly looking into the wolf's eyes. "Are you from a place like the Sharikere Mountains or the desert? You seem to be Ausi or this one other type of wolf I cannot remember off the top of my head. Neither should be in this area though."
