Shimmer Doom's Story

The two wolves that had attacked Mydnyte and the others were led on through a beautiful garden floating in the clouds. Behind them, Summanus goaded them on with more sparks of electricity.

"What do you think we should do Orin?" the subordinate of the small Kamarian contingent asked his leader as he carefully tread over a clump of daffodils.

"I wouldn't know Borro, but we've obviously been captured so our fate's probably not too good." the stronger Kamarian whispered back to him. Suddenly they stepped into a clearing and Summanus pushed his way to the front of them saying, "Move aside for your own good." he stepped forward and quickly bowed using his forelegs before an empty white throne and growled at the two wolves to do the same.

From behind the throne a wolf with auburn fur and a lightning bolt pend walked carrying a Kita pup by the rough of their collar. She set the pup in front of her and said, "I see you have brought new prisoners Summanus, my excellent mercenary, Kamarians, how odd. Do you know how they got up here?"

Summanus rose on his feet and answered, "I saw them drop from the sky. They probably were scouting out the Mountains of Era. What should we do with them Lady Shimmer Doom?"

Shimmer's Doom's eyes glowed yellow and suddenly Orin and Borro knew who they had been captured by. They panicked and hid behind Summanus. Shimmer Doom showed her teeth and said, "Drop them from the cliff like the rest of the people we sometimes find wandering around up here. We can't have anyone knowing that the Borak pack has captured the Sakura Ruins after all. We have such a lovely hostage in the form of this Kita pup after all, the next alpha of this nasty place. I'm sure his parents would miss him just like how I miss my father. He was killed you know by one of the other traitorous packs. No doubt it'd probably be a pack like this that just "pretends" to be peaceful. I'm just glad that this place wasn't hard to capture."

Summanus nodded and played his role well. He drew a long serrated blade and pointed it at Orin's head, "March," he commanded before Orin and Borro before they turned around sharply and were led towards the edge of a steep cliff. Orin and Borro looked down and gulped before Summanus suddenly shoved them off the edge.

(I'm going to be starting up a little trouble with Shimmer Doom. If it's okay it'll involve the Kita pack maybe and Shimmer Doom taking their territory for the purposes of war so that she can use it to draw out whoever may have killed her father.)

"I don't know who those were, but they were rather interesting." Shimmer Doom told Summanus as she trotted towards him and showed him her teeth. "I wonder if Kaveh sent them? They were Kamarians I think after all."

She looked back at the Kita pup sitting at her throne and said, "We should go visit him and take the brat along with us. With him in hand we've acquired such a nice place. I just hope we can use this as a base of operations, well to get back for what all the wolves who've killed my father."

Summanus gazed at her and thought, "She's had me do some things that are quite horrible. I should tell her what I think."

He voiced to her as he put sheathed his blade. "Ma'am I think that is a good idea, but I can't come with you. My contract has expired. I've been only assigned to help you take this place so you can use it to help take revenge for your father by taking their pups, I'm just going to go now since I'm not longer needed."

"That's fine..." she said as her eyes glowed yellow and she growled at him, "Just use one of the Kita to fly you off of this floating rock and don't tell anyone of my plans. I'll let you go easily because I'm an easy going person, but if you do tell someone of my plans you'll find me coming for you."

Summanus nodded and found a Kita waiting nearby the throne now, having walked over during the events that occurred. It stood next to the pup and looked down on it with pity in its eyes. It knew the situation it was in, but as Summanus walked over to this wolf there seemed to be something not so totally bad about him.

"I need a ride, get me off this rock with my money and then go home." he ordered the Kita. It nodded its head and spread its wings.

Shimmer Doom turned around to look at Summanus and said, "I almost forgot your payment!" she announced tossing a small sack towards him, "For helping kill a few people here as they've come and gone. I've paid you in some nice juicy bones."

Summanus caught the sack in his teeth and the Kita activated powerful light energy. "We're going to move through light speed methods. Be prepared." Its eyes glowed and Summanus found himself suddenly on a grassy plain in Nigerius. Within a moment the Kita clan member disappeared leaving him with his money.

(I'm not sure if I can do this sort of thing or not, but the powers in this game have seemed somewhat open ended. I'm not a frequent poster I know, but I'll try to get in some more after summer time hits.)

Shimmer Doom watched the Kita wolf return as Borak wolves from Shimmer's band take the Kita back under custody. "S-so... m-my Lady?" One of the Boraks stumbling over themselves as he spoke to Shimmer Doom, "W-was it wise to r-release Summanus?" "He was...after all...a-a strong Borak." The minion wolf spoke with fear. "Hmph...Summanus is strong in skill but not of heart for this line of work." "Sure he was obedient but I could see it in his eyes he wasn't exactly cut out for this." "His usefulness has expired as much as his contract...besides he seems more conflicted with himself than with the real enemy." Shimmer Doom responded. "What...you mean the Kitas?" The lackey asked. "No not just the Kitas but every other pack out there!" she barked, "Yes the packs and this war, oh this war is an abomination and I will see an end to this." "This is why the Alpha has allowed me to do this, he wants me to secure victory for the Boraks but his idea of victory and mine are two different things." Shimmer stopped herself before she continues to rant, "I won't waste my breath on trying to explain things to you, the only thing the lot of you need to focus on is keeping these ruins secure, I don't want any unexpected visitors like we had earlier today." She commanded as the Boraks went to their posts all about the Ruins keeping the Kitas contained.

"But we mean you no harm." Some of them cried out. "Yes we are peaceful." They pleaded. "HUSH UP!" Some of the more easily irritable Boraks spat in harsh retort. Shimmer Doom watched the throne with the little Kita pup in custody as two Boraks kept constant vigilance over the pup. Soon I shall find away to end this war and using the Kita's mode of travel will help advance my forces at many different places at once but what can I use to ensure the pack's defeat and to see an end to this miserable war? Shimmer Doom plotted to herself as she considered stratagems to secure the Boraks their victory and most of all her revenge.
