Dave has always been known as the handsome guy. His hair is darkblond but tends to turn lighter if he's out in the Sun a lot. He used to let his hair grow a bit, but lately it has been short. What is not always short is his beard. He likes to wear a beard, but the principal of the school is usually not to happy with that.
One thig that stands out most, is the color of his eyes. A piercing blue you don't see a lot. Although they seem kind and friendly, he likes to describe them as having the color of ice.
Dave constantly has a devilish grin on his face, which makes you think he is about to prank someone. He looks like an athlete standing 6'1" tall, and having a muscular body shape. He has no notable tattoos or scars.
Personality
Dave is generally a very happy man. Who wouldn't be, if they got everything they always wanted. His way of live and all that happened to him so far has made him arrogant. Even so, he doesn't flash around with all he has and can do. He has far more friends than enemies, and he cares for his job. He will always do his best to help his students.
Since he has enough for himself, he is likely to share the things he has. He will try to have fun with you, but ever since high school it was never on anyone's expense. He is a guy who likes a challenge and will do his absolute best to achieve his goals.

History
Dave was born into the wealthy Rockler family. Grandfather Rockler once started a small oil company, and now Dave's father runs a medium sized company. It's not Shell or BP, but profitable nonetheless. Due to this Dave always went to the better schools and got all his little heart ever wanted.
His father was never around, but his mother was always at home. She loved Dave and his little sister very much and thought it was better to take care of the children herself instead of having some nanny do it. In high school Dave made a name fo himself in sports. He was quite the American Football player, but never seemed to achieve much in the games where scouts were watching. He didn't need the scholarship due to his dad, so maybe this way some of his classmates would get a chance.
In his first year of university he received a phone call from his sister, crying. She told him their parents were having a major fight and that he needed to come home. Feeling fiercely protective of both his sister and his mother he came home as soon as he could. It turned out Dave's mom found out his dad was having an affair with his secretary. A divorce was unavoidable and being the nasty break up it was, Dave suddenly had to choose between his parents.
Naturally he choose for his mother, she had always been there for him. His mother did refuse to take any money from his father, and with this he was not able to stay in the same university. He moved to one closer to home. He also decided to take another major as he was no longer interested in taking over the company. He went into a direction that he truly loved, history. It was at this university he met his wife.
With the blessing of his mother and sister he got married not long after. They travelled across Europe together, seeing more of history than he ever dreamed of. Coming back to the US Dave applied as a history teacher at Magnolia High School, where he has been working for the past 3 years.
