Physical Description: An ordinary-looking Koopatrol… except he has a Paratroopa’s feathered wings. Yep.
Personality: Paratrol takes life slow, and is very much one of the most laidback and easy-going guys you’ll meet… well, if you’re a friend at least. He does not show much sympathy towards those he considers his foes. He also has his own, strange sense of humour.
Equipment & Abilties: In addition to flight and a very strong suit of armor he wears almost all of the time, Paratrol also carries his “lucky” slingshot; he really only shoots metal pellets with it.
History: Once a minion of Bowser, this armored Paratroopa decided to go his own path and left the Koopa King’s services to travel the world. Eventually joining the White Platoon, he became good friends with Reign Fire and the pair eventually left the group to do their own travelling together. Paratrol continues to venture alongside his best friend, and there was an incident some time ago where a strange substance was injected into the winged Koopatrol, but he seems fine these days…

"'Bout time!" says Sockie. Just then, a winged Koopatrol and yellow-cloaked man enter the scene.
"What we miss?!" shouts Paratrol.

"Shall we proceed, then?" Red asked the others before turning once more to Aria. "Now...where would the entrance be at?"
"Hmmm..." Aria looked around, then pointed to a certain building. "In there! The entrance is inside the ground floor of that building. But I'm not sure that - "
"Perfect! Alright, everyone, steel yourselves. No telling what Majestic will do in response to our intrusion..." Red led the others toward the building.
"...I'll resolve things with you later," River said to Adel as they proceeded.
"...Nemea? Do you know anything about him?" Adel asked his device.
"Negative. No earlier data on this man exists in my database," Nemea said.
"Hrm..."
"Hmmm..." Aria looked around, then pointed to a certain building. "In there! The entrance is inside the ground floor of that building. But I'm not sure that - "
"Perfect! Alright, everyone, steel yourselves. No telling what Majestic will do in response to our intrusion..." Red led the others toward the building.
"...I'll resolve things with you later," River said to Adel as they proceeded.
"...Nemea? Do you know anything about him?" Adel asked his device.
"Negative. No earlier data on this man exists in my database," Nemea said.
"Hrm..."
"Then let's get ready to raid! Let's crash their party!" Hazel-Naut is ready for action.
"What about Gumble and Quintus?" asked Kremlouie.
"They'll have to catch up with us when they're done healing." Toniyo answered, "For now, this is enough."

Aria and Red approached the area where the entrance is. There's faint signs of a large square-shaped seam in the dusty ground. Whipping out his repair rod, Aria taps certain spots on this square in a certain sequence. After this, the square area comes to life, a panel opening up and revealing a stairway to the inside.
"Sure you're ready for this?" Aria asked. "Even I'm not sure what they're planning to do..."
"Well, I was considering torching everything in sight, and then burn it all deeper to be safe," Red remarked.
"That's still underestimating these monsters," River replied to Red. "You wanna survive? Ditch any restraint you may have. No holding back, got it?"
"That's reckless!" Adel retorted. "We need at least some survivors for interrogation afterward!"
"Tch, good luck with that, redhead. They're trained - that is, brainwashed - to not divulge anything!"
"Don't be ridiculous. They can't be that impossible to question."
"{sigh} You're clueless...Guess you'll find out firsthand soon."
"Sure you're ready for this?" Aria asked. "Even I'm not sure what they're planning to do..."

At the height of the stairs is a tripwire, set up to send any careless invaders sprawling down the stairs, most likely. It's not that hard to spot, either...
"On sec, guys!" exclaims Sockie. "I gotta make one last phone call!"

The tripwire isn't just some ordinary tripwire - upon Red's blades coming into contact with it, said blades get stuck. The wire wraps tightly around the blades and yanks backwards, sending the blades (and Red if she's holding them) hurtling at high-speed towards some spinning razor-sharp blades just inside the stairs!
Meanwhile...

The blades slip out of Red's hands as they're yanked to the blades below.
"Mm-hmm~" Red hummed with a smirk, snapping her fingers and recalling her blades, untangled. "Could probably use resharpening afterward..."

"They are expecting us!!!" Crunch groaned, "And they come prepared with everything! What's next? A rolling boulder of doom?"
"...Hm? No, I don't think they're that afraid of us," Red said...to someone. Who she was talking to is a mystery. "...I understand, they just rigged a blade trap on those stairs. That doesn't always mean they're compensating."
"(?) Uh, who are you talking to?" Adel asked.
"...Well, whatever," Red said to the group. "Now, let's try to disable those blades down there, hm?"

"Yo, Crane!" greets Sockie. "This is Sockie Lastnamerson, and I'm just chillin' with some of my fellow super-powered fugitives near this old office building in Old Haven. Yep. You should bring lots of men over here if you want to try to arrest us. Maybe some military."
A loud collision of some kind is heard over the speaker. A few seconds later, shuffling is heard.
"How do I know this isn't a trap?"
Speaking of traps, though, the blades Red picked out of the blade trap are in bad shape. Like, they're in pieces now. Likely unusable. Also speaking of traps, a red dot appears on Hazel's forehead.

"Leave this to me," River said, projecting ice blades above his wrists and firing them into the razor blades down below, exploding into a thick coating of ice all over them.
Then Toniyo notices a red dot on Hazel's head.
"Oh shi--!!! SNIPER!"
Toniyo grabs Hazel and brings him down on the ground.

Toniyo tackles Hazel right in time to get struck by the bullet himself. He's hit right in the lungs. Meanwhile, the razor blade trap is frozen, and almost comically struggles to move beneath the ice. If Crane heard River he makes no sign of it.
"(!) Blast!" Red muttered, kneeling down to check Toniyo's wound. "He's lung-shot!"
"Oh! Uh...I-Is anyone here versed in bullet extraction?" Adel asked.

Toniyo is having a hard time to breathe thanks to the bullet puncturing his lungs.
"Hang in there, Toniyo!!!" Crunch panicked, "We'll do something about that bullet!"
"Everyone! Stay alert! If you see a sniper, attack it immediately!" Kremlouie warned, "And seriously, does anyone know how to remove the bullet?!"

"Master Adel," Nemea spoke up. "I come equipped with small scouting probes. They could be used for extraction, and could help in mending the wounds."
"...Okay, let's give it a shot," Adel said, taking a deep breath before kneeling down and aiming Nemea at Toniyo's wound.
"Inserting probe now," Nemea said, casting a small hovering device from one of her "fangs". It slipped in through Toniyo's wound, seeking the bullet.

Aria notices the red dot, and throws something between its source and Adel - a small hovering cube-shaped machine called a Block Buddy. It projected some kind of barrier behind Adel while he and Nemea focused on extracting the bullet.
The probe should be at the bullet now. It began excising it out of Toniyo's flesh with a small warm claw.

"Don't just stand there! Kill that sniper!" Crunch is charging towards the sniper with Hazel and Zarenta following him.
With just a red dot to go on, Crunch, Hazel, and Zarenta probably don't have a good grasp on the sniper's exact position. As they go charging off in the vague direction they think the dot is coming from, they hear clicking noises under their feet, followed by something underfoot lighting up.
The sniper, wherever he is, fires, but the bullet is intercepted by the Block Buddy as the red dot disappears.
