At first glance, Lyssa/Lycaon present an unintimidating target, frail and curvy, with curly ashen locks that fall below their hips. With a smooth and creamy-white complexion, Lyssa's eyes radiate a crimson-red hue, whereas Lycaon's dull considerably, losing some of their luster in the transition. With Lyssa in the light, her breast are relatively small, and there is a bounce in her step, her every movement as graceful as the last. But, there is almost a mischievous glimmer in her eyes, mixed with her unnerving grin, that gives away her seductive, yet cold and calculating nature. Lycaon, on the other hand, has only sadness in his eyes, a reflection of his inner despair. Neither frown nor smile paints his almost emotionless veneer. Whereas Lyssa’s voice could disarm even the most unwavering soul, Lycaon speaks in a low, hesitant voice, his eyes avoidant of others who might seek to unravel the secrets within.
There are some subtleties to tell the pair apart, especially as they can switch without notice. When Lyssa is in charge, she usually lets her hair loose, her bangs hanging in her face; while Lycaon likes to tie his hair neatly back. Lyssa is also left-handed, with Lycaon preferring to use his right hand. Lyssa can be more liberal with her wardrobe at times, opting to expose more of herself than some would care for while embarrassing Lycaon in the process who tends to be more conservative. In their half-beast form, their arms mutate, growing black fur while their hands change into weapons – giant paws with razor-sharp nails strong enough to slice through flesh and bone. A long, scaly tail also sprouts from behind, a viper whose poison is toxic enough to kill a thousand men. With long tendrils hanging from their face, a head of snakes appears, each more poisonous than the next. Their teeth also extend, transforming into sharp canines. In this form, the senses improve considerably, with an increased sense of sight, hearing, strength, and speed.
Taking on the form of a colossal two-headed hellhound, their fur is as black as night and nails razor sharp. Eyes retaining their crimson-hue, the mane on their back is a bed of snakes, and their tail takes the form of a vicious viper that has a mind of its own. With two large drooling heads and several rows of sharp pearly-white teeth, anyone unfortunate enough to stand in the wake of Cerberus and survive would only recall the smell of death. Darkness emanates from the creature’s form, and it is said that poison runs through its veins. In a weakened state, Cerberus' form, while deadly, is restrained, and only about the size of an ordinary human dog.
