Gingham bucket hat? She's got it. Tie-dye tracksuit? She's got it. Every Dr. Martens shoe that's ever been made? She's got it. Raegan's style is anything but posh and put-together, much to her parents' disapproval. She likes getting inspiration from old Muggle magazines and TV shows, as well as all of her old neighbors who walk around in socks and sandals, baseball hats and capri shorts. Raegan does not stick to the gender norm, usually wearing suits rather than dresses and heels, and this applies to her school uniform. While in uniform, Rae wears black trousers, a white button-up shirt and her Slytherin tie, which is usually undone and wrapped around her head instead (breaking dress code being one of the many reasons why she gets in trouble). Most days she skips makeup altogether too.

A P P E A R A N C E
Raegan's loud and in-your-face personality matches her looks perfectly. She's not too tall, but not too short, although her long limbs sometimes make her seem taller than she is. She maintains a slim figure with strong arms and core, making her a damn sleek and strong Beater with her aerodynamic proportions.

Contrary to the stereotypical Slytherin, Raegan usually sports a wide smile on her face. She has soft features, a small straight nose, sparse brows she struggles to keep in shape and round, full lips. Her ears stick out a bit, and despite being very confident about her looks, Rae usually keeps her hair down and framing her face, preventing her ears from showing too much.

Her big, brown eyes are full of charisma, and she sometimes likes to say that she can communicate way better through them than through words. She has a very expressive face and is not afraid of showing her imperfections (except her ears). Because she does not wear any makeup, and she has a terrible sleeping schedule, Rae's eyes are usually framed by dark circles and eye bags she'll never bother covering up.

She has a few dumb tattoos, mostly stick-and-pokes from her friends and her ears single-pierced. If anyone were to ask her, her favorite tattoo is a smiley face on the bottom of her left toe.

Raegan is like a twelve-year-old boy stuck inside a seventeen-year-old witch, she cannot keep still and is the biggest prankster Hogwarts has seen since Fred and George Weasley. She likes joking and pranking others and her laugh can usually be heard down any corridor if she's nearby. Other than seeking trouble, Rae enjoys socializing and talking everybody's ears off. Muggles fascinate her, and ever since she was young she started collecting Muggle artifacts like magazines (with non-moving pictures!), old Muggle clothing, and a lighter she always carries around with her. She likes when things go her way and will usually never admit she's wrong. She loves Muggle music, especially punk-rock, hot chocolate, Quidditch and her rat, Raul.

D I S L I K E S
Because Reagan is not the brightest witch her age when it comes to book-smarts, she hates reading and studying with a passion. If a subject does not interest her, she'll make no effort in the slightest to try to be better at it. She hates authority figures and is not afraid of challenging them. Dare lie to her? Face her wrath. Yes she is a cunning Slytherin girl but that doesn't mean she's OK with people lying to her face. Raegan is a very confident Quidditch player, sometimes overly-confident, and hates losing, she'd rather be knocked out by a Bludger than watching her team fail. She hates big animals, hence why she tends to keep away from the Forbidden Forest at all times, and cannot handle any spicy food or alcohol.

P E R S O N A L I T Y
A Slytherin with a Scorpio sun is exactly the chaotic mess Raegan is all about. Just like her fellow housemates, and as a proud Slytherin, Rae is determined, cunning and resourceful. Although her determination sometimes borders on stubbornness, it’s her charisma, people skills and the will to never give up that have given her such a high reputation at school. There’s not a soul who doesn’t know who Raegan Durham is, love her or hate her, she’s always around to make people talk.

Her loud and annoying personality can also sometimes be the root of all of her troubles. She struggles to keep quiet and claps back at anyone she feels threatened by, including teachers and authority figures. She’s not the best student and for the almost seven years she has been at Hogwarts, she’s passed her classes only because she can talk herself out of any sticky situation. If there’s anything she excels at, it’s Quidditch. She doesn’t have to think much about it and being a Beater has given her the perfect platform to relieve all of her stress. Plus, a lot of people find Quidditch players hot and she bathes in every compliment thrown her way. Some might call Raegan attention-seeker, and it’s true that she can sometimes be a bit too cocky. She’s used to causing trouble and getting away with it, so when she can’t, she struggles to understand why.

Raegan has the bad habit of not being able to take anything seriously, especially when the situation requires her to be serious about it. It is only when she senses she or her loved ones are in danger that she can pause and think clearly. She has a big and noisy laugh and does not bother covering up her big personality if she notices she’s making others uncomfortable. She has trouble being responsible and has the worst memory ever. Someone please get her a Rememberall.

She will never go down without a fight, she’s tough-minded and can never back down from an argument. She’s defensive and will always stand up for what she believes in. She’s an incredibly loyal friend because of that and a really honest one two, sometimes too blunt for her own good. But she’s never been a bully or a mean person, at least not on purpose. Deep down Rae's a messy individual, who can't stay still for more than two seconds, but willing to fight for the greater good. The new generation of Slytherins that she has grown up with have taught her more than she knows, and in the end, she'll always be proud of who she has grown up to be.

Catcher Durham | Father | 37 | Wizard | Ministry of Magic (Department of Magical Games and Sports)
Raegan's relationship with her father cannot be matched by anyone else. He's her best friend, her biggest cheerleader and her biggest supporter. Ever since she was young she's been "Daddy's little girl", much to her mother's disapproval of his favoritism. Rae's favorite memory with him is when he took her to the World Cup, China vs. Moldova 2010, the match lasted three days and they were the happiest three days of her life.

Eadoin Durham (neΓ© O'Toole) | Mother | 37 | Wizard | Author (Quidditch books)
It's evident Rae comes from a family of talented Quidditch players and aficionados. Both her mother and father work in sports-related fields. Her relationship with her mother only goes as far as a couple of "I miss you" letters each year when she's at school. Back at home they tend to get on each other's nerves, but it's only because they're so similar. Rae would never admit it but she loves her mother more than anything in the world.

Ceara Durham | Sister | 15 | Wizard | Fifth year student (Gryffindor)
Rae's sister is everything she's not; she's smart, respectful, and a talented witch. Plus head girl. But even though they're polar oposites, they get along like best friends. Ceara is Rae's favorite victim when it comes to playing jokes on people, but she'll be the first to step up against anyone who's giving her trouble.

H I S T O R Y
Catcher Durham met Eadoin O’Toole when they were both students at Hogwarts, both Quidditch players on opposing teams. While Catcher was Hufflepuff’s Keeper, Eadoin was one of Ravenclaw’s Beaters. After a couple of years of flirting back and forth, fighting together in the Battle of Hogwarts while on their seventh year at school was what brought them together, and after two years of courtship, they finally got married. The year Raegan was born, Catcher was able to land a position in the Wimbourne Wasps’s Quidditch team as their Keeper, but Eadoin chose to stay home and become a Quidditch author and journalist to take care of Rae. Her parents’ relationship only grew stronger, and two years after Raegan, they had Ceara, her little sister.

Raegan’s childhood was full of excitement, going to Quidditch tournaments since she could remember, cheering for her dad and dreaming of one day flying alongside him. But it all changed after her dad’s injury. Catcher was playing against the the Appleby Arrows, long time rivals of the Wimbourne Wasps, when a Beater from his own team accidentally sent a Bludger his way, hitting him right behind his neck and sending him flying off his broom. Catcher Durham was in a coma for two weeks, before waking up with slight memory loss and a few missing screws. Those two weeks were hell for the Durham family, Rae slept at St Mungo's for about a week, before her grandparents took her and Ceara in while her father was recovering. After fully healing, Catcher decided to quit playing Quidditch professionally and got a job at the Ministry, still dealing with Magical Sports.

But the accident brought Rae closer to her father than ever, she almost lost him and she couldn’t bare to go through it again. He’s the reason she’s so good at Quidditch, and why she has a possible future playing professionally herself. Rae was accepted into the Slytherin Quidditch team on her second year, being one of the best Beaters they had seen in a long time, and she takes pride in that (maybe too much). Sometimes, though, the pressure of keeping her parents’ Quidditch reputation can be too much for her, she sucks at school but cannot bear to seem like a loser when it comes to sports, she fears letting them down and being a failure in what her parents love most. If she cannot get perfect grades like her sister, at least she can call herself an excellent Quidditch player.

Throughout her years at Hogwarts, she has made it her life mission to never have a dull day, hence her troublemaking mishaps. The closest she has been to getting expelled so far, was once when she tried sneaking a Blast-Ended Skrewt into the Herbology Greenhouses, causing a bigger mess than she expected. Maybe that’s why Hufflepuffs don’t really like Rae after all. Everyone knows Rae’s a ball of chaos, and most people tend to stay away from her mess of a personality, she has trouble keeping friendships and committing to anyone for that matter. Recently, though, her interest for Divination has been growing, and has given her a chance to learn how to settle down and calm herself, so maybe she won’t be so lonely after all.

Raegan's been a Slytherin Beater since her second year at Hogwarts, and a damn good flier. Other than her sportsmanship, she has amazing people-skills and knows what to do and say to stay on top of anyone. She also has a talent for reading tea leaves, but she'd rather say she doesn't take it seriously and makes it up, than admit she enjoys doing it.

S T R E N G T H S
Again, Raegan’s best talent and biggest strength is her Quidditch habilities; she mastered flying at a young age, she’s agile and strong, making for a great Beater. Her charisma and good humor are what help her get along great with others, but not on a deeper level. She’s amazing at entertaining others and a damn good storyteller. As for school, she excels in Muggle Studies, knows almost everything and anything about them and is fascinated by them. She’s equally good at Divination, which started as a joke but has lately turned into her passion, diving deep into Tessomancy and Palmistry.

W E A K N E S S E S
Alright, so Raegan hates losing. She’s the worst at friendly competitions because nothing is ever β€œfriendly” to her when it comes to competing. She’s a sore loser and will never congratulate others for winning over her, she’s too proud for her own good. That sadly too means she’s cocky, and this has a great effect on her ego, sometimes bringing her down when she fails at what little she’s good at. She does not do well at school, Charms and Transfiguration being her worst subjects, she hates studying and anything that requires too much reading will be the death of her. She has almost no respect for authority and a bad habit of causing trouble all around, she’s bad at commitment and at keeping friends for a long time.

The smell of fresh smoke. The rumbling of voices echoed. The clatter of metal trollies scraping across the ancient station's stone brick floor, as well as the thudding of countless footsteps of first years. The old train station that secretly held the platform known as Nine and Three quarters was alive once again. First year students were mixed among the older students that were simply saying goodbye to their loved ones and got onto the train, as the young ones shed a few tears as they'd be leaving their wizarding parents or guardians for the first time.

Where were they off to? No other place than Hogwarts, the School Of Witch Craft and Wizardry. It was once the most popular wizarding school in the world, secretly tucked away in Scotland. Hidden away from Muggle knowledge, as well as the rest of the world, that was until May 2nd, 1999. A tragic event that shook the world by storm, The Batte Of Hogwarts. The Dark Lord, whatever else one may want to call him, Lord Voldermort who was once called Tom Riddle, and his band of Death Eaters and followers attacked the school simply for the last Horcrux, as well as Pure Blood Supremacy and to end all blood ties that weren't pure. But there was one thing that stood in his way, Harry Potter, The Boy Who Lived and all the students that gave their lives to help defend the old school, and each other. But as years passed, the death of Voldemort and few of his underlings still hiding in the shadows, Hogwarts had since slowly come back to its former glory.

It has been two full decades since the Battle Of Hogwarts happened, and the reopening of the school. A handful of old professors returned to the school, as well as a few others. This would be a hopeful year for the students, as some are going for their last year, or their first year at the famous school. Students young and old said their goodbyes and slowly boarded onto the train.

That was two weeks ago...

| Slytherin | Parseltongue x|x#026e4f |

The sun crested over the tips and walls of the ancient castle as the surrounding animals and wild life awoke with the rising sun. Most of the professors and staff were well awake for a few hours by the time came for the students to wake up and prepare for the day. After struggling to find themselves rolling out of bed, most half dressed by the time they hobbled into the Great Hall, still adjusting their uniforms, they split into groups for their respective Houses and sat down as they awaited for breakfast to be served with came in waves with varieties of food that would make any normal muggle salivate with a single smell. But for these students, it was all too common and familiar, almost immediately falling back into routine as they all woke up after finally getting some food into their bellies, well, some woke up faster than others.

Jessie was busy wiping the sleep from her eyes as she had fallen asleep far too late the previous night as the first few week gitters were still in her system. Even if it was her last year, she still felt a bit of anxiety course through her veins every year she came here, even if this was their second semester of this year. Some things just never changed apparently. But, some things did and some part of the young Slytherin could feel it. Something was off, ever since she stepped back onto the grounds, Hogwarts itself felt a bit off, even if the others didn't feel it. She was shaken from her thoughts as the tong of one of the first bells sounded, signalling they had thirty minutes left before they'd have to prepare for their morning classes.

All that the young blonde had on her mind to help distract herself from her thoughts was the fact that they'd be having a Quidditch game latter that day in the mid afternoon, with another one to follow later that night. First up would be Gryffindor vs Slytherin, and then Hufflepuff vs Ravenclaw in the later hours of the day. They'd still have time, and at least she'd have something to look forward to. Not that things were ever a bore, especially considering she had all her friends, things were just tense, and she didn't think anyone else felt it, and if they did, damn were they doing a good way of hiding how they felt.

Jessie was about midway through her breakfast as she looked around the crowd of students, busily digging into their food. Her eyes scanned for a specific face, one she still didn't see since she woke up. Tilting her head to the side as she spoke, "You haven't seen Cas either right?" she asked the platinum blonde male Slytherin and wrapped one of her arms around his shoulder. "Assuming they've overslept again, huh?" she said teasingly to Eden. Removing a small piece of paper from her cloak, she quickly wrote something down and after casting a short enchantment spell, she watched as the paper formed into a small paper airplane and quickly dashed out of the Great Hall and disapeared out of sight. "That should help wake them up a bit, don't ya think?" the Slytherin teased as she put her wand back away in her cloak.

Leaning back over to Eden, laying her head on his shoulder, "You ready to fuck up some Gryffindors later today, mate?" she said with a jovial smile as she let him go from her iron grip, making sure her voice would have been heard by a few certain students that sat down from them by only a few chairs. Casting a small wink at one of the students, a certain red haired, female Gryffindor, before looking back away to her fellow House mates and listened to their ramblings as they finished their breakfast.

The morning sun began to streak its way through the large, stain glass windows of one of the dormitories as multiple figures were still fast asleep in their beds. Being back to the old routine after only two weeks of being back for the semester hadn't full set in yet, and often times some students were still fast asleep as others were already down to the Great Hall for breakfast. It was only when a piece of paper that was shaped like a poorly crafted airplane was sent under the crack of the dorm door and found its target in the ear of a sleeping red head. "What the fuck..?" a soft voice mumbled as the figure that received the pointed end of the paper to their ear sat up grumpily. Rubbing the sleep from their eyes, Castiella un-crumpled the paper and quickly read it over, their eyes widened. "Oh shit! We're gonna be late, again! Shit!" they cursed, tossing the blankets off of them as they quickly jumped out of bed, taking a few pillows and tossed one each at the other three sleeping forms in their respective beds. "Kai! Lex! Elise! We overslept, again! Hurry up and get dressed or we're gonna be late...Well, later than we already are!" they shouted, bare feet stumbling across cold, hard wood floors sent them quickly running to find socks. Seeing as it was still just getting into spring, someone must have forgot to set the heater in the room to go all night, which would explain the cold air in the room.

Cas came back a few short minutes later as they had finished changing into their uniform as they finished up brushing their hair and applied as minimum of makeup as they could within a few short minutes. "They're gonna kill us if we're late like this again, already. Ya'll already know the drill. I take the heat for it and you get off as easily as they'll allow. Got it? Besides, they can't be too mad at us...We're only...thirty minutes late for breakfast, fantastic." their voice dipped off into a minor mumble as they checked their watch on their left wrist. Looking back up at the others that had finished getting dressed, "Alright, let's go already, bitches." they gestured as they flung the dormitory door open and began to make their way out of the room behind the other three, while struggling with their tie as the small group made their way to the Great Hall.

The small group stumbled down the halls as they tried to quicken their pace, they needed to get there for at least fifteen minutes. Cas would feel bad if they had made everyone late and had them miss out on getting their breakfast. The four exchanged small talk and jokes as they made their way towards the main archway to the Great Hall. "Monroe? A word, if you please?" a voice called out, which caused Castiella to stop and turn their head nervously to where the voice had called from. Cas gave a small wave and gestured with their hand to give them a moment. "Hey uh, you three go on ahead, I'll just be a moment." the Hufflepuff said with a small smile as they turned and made their way over to the figure that had asked to speak with them.

Castiella shambled over with a coy smile on their face, leaning against the wall, "Morning, Professor." Cas said nervously, ringing their hands together. "I trust you slept well, Castiella." the professor said with a chipper smile. Cas sighed as they rubbed their face, "How much trouble am I in?" preparing theirself for the worst. The old woman sighed, placing a gentle hand on the student's shoulder, "Just try to keep them in check, yes? This may be your last year, but Cas. You can't drag them down with you. It's your duty as an older student, the Quidditch Captain, and most importantly Prefect to be an example." Cas gave a small nod of their head, rubbing the back of their neck as they did so, "I know...I know. I'm sorry. Things are just, rough. You know. I'll try to be better, but I will have to take this next meeting off...If that's okay?" the old professor gave Castiella a small smile, "I understand. You don't need to apologize. Just, go get some food, maybe that will wake you up a bit." Cas gave the woman a smile, "Thank you, McGonagall. I owe you." they gave the headmistress a small nod and smile before turning and made their way back to the Great Hall, and found themselves making their way to where their friends were. Cas took their seat in the middle of two of their friends, "Boom..." Cas poorly imitated the sound of an explosion as they placed their head on their hands that were placed infront of her on the table, looking up at Lex, "They're gonna kill me one of these days, I can feel it...Or worse, gonna get expelled." Cas muttered teasingly before lifting their head from the table and placing it on Lex's shoulder as they sighed.

xxxWelp, Raegan and mornings never go well together in the same sentence. So it's no surprise they chose to sleep in rather than wake up early and have enough time to get ready and look presentable. After just barely washing their face and brushing their hair, they strutted down to the Great Hall excitedly. They had a Quidditch game scheduled for today and they were more than ready to get back on their grind, plus it was against Gryffindor and winning against their long-time rivals (even though it was mostly just for fun now) would be great for their ego.

Rae trained every day on Christmas break with their father, and now that it was their last year at Hogwarts, they had to make an impression if they planned on going pro. So this last few months: no distractions, no (unnecessary) flirting, no big elaborate pranks. Or at least that's what they told themselves.

Once in the Great Hall they passed by a few other students, like their fellow teammates Jessie and Eden, giving them both a smile and a thumbs up, signaling they were happy and ready for the game. Then proceeded to sit down in front of none other than Rose. No surprise there either, both were not only roommates but also pretty darn close.

"Hey Rose! Have you seen Raul? Couldn't find him this morning," they had fallen apart just before the break and Rae was trying to mend their relationship back together, in spite of her ego. So she spoke of the first thing that came to mind, her rat, and tried to maybe get Rose to actually talk to her other than formalities.

Rose as always was the first or at least the first few students to be in the Great Hall at or before six. Since she could remember, she got accustomed to only sleeping for four hours a day and being productive for the rest. She spent most of her freetime studying or doing one of the activities she enjoyed. This morning she had gotten up very early and snuck off to the kitchen. She made white chocolate covered strawberries. She even used a wooden kabob skewer to draw flowers and vines in the white chocolate before it fully hardened. Rose had a box of twelve next to her. Her plan was to give them to Shane in the morning, but he started trouble by messing with Jessie.

She was still debating if she should just give it to him now until her favorite person, Rae, sat across from her. Rose smiled and looked at Rae when they greeted her. Her mouth was full, so she had to finish chewing before she could speak. She swallowed and tried to ignore the feeling of her cheeks getting hot. Rae could do nothing, but Rose couldn't help it when she got bashful. With her free hand, she had been drawing a rough outline of Raul, Rae’ rat, who was asleep in her lap. Her eyes watched him as he stretched out in her lap. She took a few slow deep breaths to try to cool her now blushing cheeks. A few seconds later, she finally looked up and did her best to make eye contact with Rae.

β€œMorning Raegan,” she replied. Rose closed her sketchbook and placed the pencil on top. She then gestured to Rae's familiar in her lap. All the rats decided to follow her this morning, likely as she often gave them treats when she went to the kitchen. Rose appreciated Raul's company during breakfast. Cream and Coffee had gone off to who knows where about an hour ago. They always loved to explore the school and sometimes get into trouble.

β€œRaul is in my lap. He followed me this morning when I started my day. I think he is tired now...I do apologize if you worried about him,” she added.

Her smile widened as she looked at Rae. They just always made her feel happy and carefree when they were around. Rose was glad they seemed to be getting back on friendly terms as well. Their friendship had always been an on and off again thing. Rose usually didn't mind, but this year was different. It was their last one together as students at Hogwarts. She hoped the friendship would stay on for the rest of it.

β€œHow did you sleep? Are you excited for the Quidditch game today?” she asked, deciding to keep the conversation going. Although, her eyes wandered over to Shane as Cas went up to him. It seemed like his situation with Jessie now had one more person involved. She watched with curiosity and a bit of worry. Her lips pressed together as Shane had water dumped on him. Rose knew he could handle himself, so she stayed seated. He wasn’t in immediate danger and part of her didn’t want to wake up Raul by getting up. If anything, she could get revenge for Shane later if really necessary. When the situation was over, her full attention went back to Rae.

β€œI wonder if the rest of the day will be as interesting,” she commented. She wondered briefly if Cas lost a cult member and that was why they were in such a bad mood. While she waited for Rae to answer her, Rose decided she’d give Shane the box before her first class. He obviously didn’t start his morning off on a good note.

Jessie’s attention managed to be broken up part way when she heard a small scuffle coming from the direction she had been looking at previously. Familiar, but hushed voices seemed to be having a conversation, and the young Slytherin looked back over her shoulder to see Cas having pushed Shane into the table, and was clearly threatening him. She couldn’t help but form the smallest of smirks on her face at the not so subtle display between the Gryffindor students and Hufflepuff Prefect. Shane was an utter asshole, and she couldn’t blame Cas for coming to her defense. She watched as Cas walked away, giving Cassie a small high five, and gave the Hufflepuff an approving nod and wink. Looking over at Raegen as she noticed them coming in and gave them a small wink and smirk in return for the thumbs up.

Shaking her head for a moment as she folded her arms over on the table before taking the napkin that Eden offered and patted herself dry as much as she could, it was better than nothing. She gave Eden a small chuckle at the comment of Shane being a dickhead, β€œYou can say that again, yeah.” she muttered. But at his retort of her suggestion of revenge, she gave him a genuine smile and nod as she giggled somewhat energetically that lasted but a moment. β€œThis is why you’re my favorite.” she grinned as she momentarily ruffled his hair and grabbed him by the chin.

As Eden mentioned Cas, she nodded, β€œOh of course. Shane should know not to fuck with us by now. Cas is always on his ass about this shit. If he even had an iota of brains he’d know that by-” she quickly took a short pause as Ophelia sat down, not wanting to bring down the poor girl’s mood or cause her any unnecessary stress. She already had more than enough shit to deal with in her own life. They weren’t exactly as say Ophelia and Eden were but, Jessie felt like she needed to look out for her specifically, putting her health conditions aside. She just didn’t know why.

β€œHey, Phi. And eh, You know. Just Shane and his usual shit.” Jessie muttered, before she took a bite of toast, letting Eden explain things. Her eyebrows raised as she shot a quick glance over to the Hufflepuff table across the hall, β€œAaand it looks like there are now paper otters on their table…” she chuckled slightly, damn Mac and her shenanigans. Giving the Gryffindor a small wink of approval.

Jessie rolled her eyes once more as her brain went back to the comments aimed from Cassie about the game, letting those small ones roll off her back like water to a duck's back. Sure, they lost a few to Gryffindor, but...They won some, and today would be no different. She could feel it. They had to win at least once more, pride be damned. She wasn’t in the mood to lose.

For what felt like the third time in just an all too short amount of time, Jessie found her attention being taken back to the direction of that one spot of the Gryffindor table, but only to see Cassie sitting down right next to her on her left, as Eden and Ophelia were on her right. The Slytherin rolled her eyes as an exasperated and overd-dramatic breath escaped her lips. β€œWhat didn’t he do?” she mumbled dryly. β€œFirst, he’s a royal pain in everyone’s ass, pretty sure you can agree that much, Cassie. And second, he seems to get off on only ever really targeting me, for whatever reason. So, there’s that.” Jessie stated plainly, before taking her cup of water and took a sip. Which she almost immediately choked on at Eden’s mention of the Dance, she knew exactly what he was trying to do. She shot him a glare as she placed her cup down, β€œI retract my earlier statement, you’re the absolute worst.” she muttered.

Jessie soon side-eyed Cassie as she swiped a piece of her food from the plate. A small grin creasing her lips for just a moment before it disappeared. Deep in thought. For just a moment.

β€œYou also could just ask if you wanted to share my food, right? You don’t always have to steal it, I thought that was against Gryffindor House rules. And please, we have better things than just toast compared to you lot, trust me.” the blonde said with a small wink before turning to look a few seats down from the table, locking her eyes on a small, fifth year, male Slytherin student. β€œHey shortstack, pass the jam spread, please?” she questioned with a short whistle. Kieran shot her a glare as his eyebrows knitted together for a moment, β€œWhy…?” his voice was low, as if not wanting to answer the request behind it as his mouth was full with food.

The young Slytherin leaned in close across the table, keeping her voice low, β€œBecause I will break you with my god damn boot if you don’t? Now, just pass me it, please.” putting extra emphasis on the please. Kieran’s eyes widened slightly, but not before rolling his eyes as he picked up the small plate with various jelly and jam spreads available. As it was handed over, another hand grabbed the plate and walked onto the other side of Cassie as the figure sat down. β€œOh come on. Astrid, I’m not in the mood for this shit. Why do you always have to do this to me?” Jessie questioned with an annoyed tone as she looked over at the dark haired Slytherin. β€œNo, but your reactions always are worth the extra effort.” Astrid stated, her light Scandinavian accent coming out for just a moment. Jessie shook her head, β€œYou’re all going to kill me one day, I just know it.” Jessie stated dryly, placing two fingers to either side of her head. Astrid chuckled and handed Cassie the plate of jams and jellies for the toast, β€œThere you go, Sweetheart.” she flashed Cassie a smile before quickly eating some food as she too woke up rather late. She’d need the food for the extra boost of energy for the day. Smiling happily.

With a small sigh, Jessie lifted her head back up and craned her neck to look back at Cassie, propping left leg up onto the bench, keeping her foot flat against the bench as she rested her arms atop her knee, β€œAlright, so aside from stealing food from me, and terrorizing me. What else are you doing over here, Lightborn? You don’t usually bother me unless you want something from me.” she eyed the red haired Gryffindor up and down for a moment, β€œSo, what is it?” she asked with a raised eyebrow, not once taking her eyes off from Cassie. Waiting patiently.
