These questions are yours to answer, and yours alone.
Everyone starts here for a different reason, but in the end the result is the same: you're probably stuck here.
Not that being stuck in Etheren is a bad thing, it's a lovely world with many places to run about,
but if you want to leave here, you're going to have to pay a price.
What's the price? It differs per person, but why would you want to leave? It's so nice...
But with every "nice" world there are indeed places that are not so nice. Places that are dark and sinister, and filled with people who fit those roles.

So go on. Live your life and enjoy it. But be warned, not everyone here is your friend.

Jamie laid in bed, completely conked out from yet again another party the night before. His bed was pushed under a window, but at an odd angle, sheets having been yanked or pushed off. The top sheet covered his body, except for one leg that stuck out over the floor. A young blonde woman laid next to him, the majority of the sheet on her body.

The bedside table had been shifted as well, pill bottles tipped over, their contents thrown about, and some of it was on the floor. A small pile of baggies some filled with green, and some with blow were stacked, and a small eye dropper bottle sat closed tightly, a trippingly drawn label stuck on it.

The apartment beyond the bedroom was spacious, a large open floorplan connected the kitchen to the living room to the hallway that led to three simple guest rooms and two bathrooms. A large balcony was off of the living room.

The place itself – trashed. Absolutely a mess. Empty bottles laid about, some in pieces, and the trashcan was overflowing with them and a mixture of snack bags and paper plates. Flies buzzed about the trash and a box of leftover pizza. A few people laid here and there, some on the couch, one in a chair hanging upside down, and a few on the floor.

A hefty knock at the door jolted Jamie from his sleep, the knocking an echoing pound in his head. He groaned and reached over grabbing what looked like a cell phone-sized tablet - off of his nightstand. Pressing a button on the side, a hologram lifted from the device, displaying the time: one thirty in the afternoon. Clicking the button again, he ran a hand through his unruly hair, strands sticking up here and there. Tossing the sheet off of his body he begrudgingly pulled himself up, his legs swinging to the side of the bed and his feet touching the floor.

He stood slowly and stumbled his way tot he bedroom door, snatching a pair of jeans off of the floor and hobbling into them before reaching the door. Opening it he looked down to see one of his boys holding an envelope.

“Sorry to wake you boss, but I got the newest order from the Davices down on Windsor Lane. It's a big one, looks like they might be having some kind of get together or somthin' I dunno.” Jamie ran a hand along his face, rubbing it softly, especially at his eyes, trying to rub the crust away.

“Slow down Ricky, I can't focus for shit.” Holding the door open with his hip, he slid his finger under the sticky side of the envelope, ripping it. The sound was jarring to his already pounding head but he made it quick, pulling out a list. It was short, the usual pot, some cocaine and THC Dabs, the basic rich people 'I don't want to be serious about drugs' type of deal, but the quantity was enormous. Checking the math that was scribbled on the page – that he made all of his lackeys do with drug orders – he approved it and opened the envelope once again. Orders like the one in his hand required a deposit of three thousand crowns, and taking out five hundred of it, he handed it to Ricky. “You get the rest on completion of your delivery you know the deal.”

Ricky eagerly took the money, stuffing it into his pockets and nodded, he couldn't have been more than twelve. He licked his lips for a moment about to turn away when he stopped and turned back, “almost forgot boss, you got someone(s) here to see you. Don't know 'em, never seen 'em before but they're waiting outside.” With that he turned and left, leaving Jamie rubbing his head.

Closing his bedroom door he shuffled back to the bed, sinking into it once more as he opened the drawer of the nightstand, pulling out a room temperature bottle of water, and a bottle of pain pills – the good stuff. Taking two of the round tablets, he chugged the bottle of water and headed off to piss. Morning routine followed. Shower, brush teeth, the works. He kept the jeans from the floor and no shirt look, it was his damn house, he would wear what he wanted! Heading out to the bedroom he nudged the girl in his bed, “get up and go.” She stirred and rolled over, mumbling a 'fuck you' into the pillow, causing him to chuckle before she threw down some cash for her despite the fact she wasn't a hooker of any kind, and he headed out.

People didn't just stop by his place unless he knew them, or they were sent to him for reasons undisclosed to some so he was quite curious. Stepping outside onto the large porch he turned to look for the person, “Yo. Can I help you?”
