Name: Tadashi Kiomine Image

Nickname(s): Kio, pork-bun(s)

Face Claim: Shin (from Amnesia)

Gender: Male

Sexual Orientation: Straight

Grade: Senior

Nationality: Japanese

___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Appearance: Shin stands at a steady 5'9", his build is lean being just athletic enough for your average teenage boy. His hair is a unique shade of brown that appears a deep violet in the right light. He's highlighted the tips of his hair a lighter shade of violet to bring out the color since it's his favorite. He 'suffers' from a very rare genetic disorder of the eyes called; 'Heterochromia Iridium', or put simply his eyes are two different colors. What makes his variation so different is that both of his eyes hold two different shades. The lower 1/3 of his eyes are a shade of red that contrast to his purple eyes. Depending on his mood, you see more red or more purple. He's always had them, and has creeped some people out in the past because of it. On his left arm are numerous scars from when he use to self harm in his early years at Airdalen. He usually wears long sleeve shirts, but has stopped going out of his way to hide them, he's come to terms with the fact that they are now a part of him.

Personality: Shin is very kind and even vibrant for having gone through all that he has. If you want to know, you'll have to get to know him to find out how he's grown stronger from his past but it's apparent that now Tadashi has 'found himself' in this world. He has a calm and observant demeanor, never coming off as stand-offish nor arrogant. He's a very humbled, quiet and polite individual that was forged through a year of self-exploration. His view on things can come off as.... Dark and contrasting. He makes it a point to see issues or topics from a 'light' and 'dark' perspective in order to fully understand the whole picture. He isn't without his demons however. He struggles with depression and can get angry very quickly if something severely bothers him. He's learned to hide his emotions, waiting to let them out in private where no one can see. He also uses music to project how he feels, with the songs he's writing showing strong contrasts and melodies very true to his nature. Despite however, all of the negatives and his personal issues Tadashi enjoys the company of people. He can grow tired of constantly being in someone's company, but he makes a great effort to be a good host and accommodating to people in his home or with people he's with. If you make him have a genuine smile, it's something that he won't easily forget.

Tadashi is very spiritual. If you ask him if there's a certain religion he practice's, he wouldn't be able to tell you. But he does believe in fate, karma and 'mystic' forces in the world that bind and guide everything from animals to plants. This translates into his music with cryptic messages, which could be seen as singing about a person or 'something else'. He respects all religions and does go to the local temples and shrines to leave charms and small amounts of money for good fortune. This also means that he's superstitious, not to an extreme point but if someone were to pay attention it's noticeable. He doesn't kill bugs when your average person would, he knows all of the Japanese folk lore stories and urban legends. Especially the creepy ones. He keeps his beliefs to himself knowing that in this day and age they might be unpopular by others, but in his lifetime he's seen and felt things guide him through the world.

Background: Tadashi attended his freshmen and sophomore year at Airdalen Academy before moving away. During his time at high school Tadashi was far from popular. Being labeled as; 'weird', 'creepy', a loner, a loser and all sorts of negative names he had no friends of which to speak of or to. He was picked on in class and bullied for his pudgy appearance by his classmates who usually were shining examples of Japan's elite and unique both in appearance and grandeur. He kept quiet and remained to himself, usually eating lunch in the back of the school or a vacant stair well. In school he was physically weak and smaller than the other boys, leaving many to tease about how he hadn't hit 'puberty' yet saying he would always be this way. But he never believed it, no matter what they said. The only thing that seemed to truly make him happy was music. He never participated in any clubs, but regular had private music lessons or studied on his on to build and hone his craft. His first love was the drums, then moving to the piano and finally guitar. He had a natural ability to play music using that as an outlet for his yet infant level of depression for his troubles in school.

It was late in his sophomore year that a tragedy struck his family. Tadashi's little brother in the 7th grade had committed suicide for being bullied about being gay. This completely devastated his family, but especially Tadashi because he was the only one that new about his brother's sexual orientation. From that day onward he never smiled again at the school and was scarcely a presence there at all. His grades began to slip slightly stooping into a deep depression. His parents' relationship began to erode after the incident slowly dividing them both worsening Tadashi's mental and emotional strain. But he still had music. It was then that his father has become elected to become the Japanese ambassador for Canada and moved bringing Tadashi with him, both his father and mother thought that the change of scenery would be good for him. Being able to get away from the bullies and somehow try to deal with the trauma they were all feeling. His mother stayed behind in Japan.

Tadashi took a little over a year to study and live in Canada, leaving almost immediately after the year ended and transferred into the foreign school system. Over the course of time Tadashi met a group of teenagers his age that helped him through his journey in discovering himself. Slowly his self-esteem rose, as well as his music ability. He started to regularly attend music festivals, concerts and other free venues to listen, play and share his love for music. Tadashi finally began to bloom and turn into a handsome young man, getting taller and thinning out into his current appearance. His health improved both physically, mentally and emotionally which made an impact on his life. Tadashi admits that music saved his life, fully immersing himself in it being able to recover from his downward spiral and spread his wings. A friend coined the turn; 'you're like the black swan meets the ugly duckling...' He found this very appropriate.

For his senior year, Tadashi had decided that he needed to come back to Japan as well as Airdalen Academy to finish his education. Not just for the sake of grades, but also for himself. He wanted to show his strength by coming back to where his troubles started and breaking down the barriers.

Strengths:
Music: Tadashi's extensive years of private music lessons and studying music as well as music theory honed his already gifted abilities to turn him into an exemplary musician. He plays the drums best, seconded by piano, guitar and finally the cello. He plays, sings and writes his own music with the aspirations to play professionally.
His voice: Once puberty hit Tadashi, his voice changed and developed into a unique pitch and sound. He sings beautifully both in Japanese and English and is currently taking singing instruction to add more power and depth to his abilities. He's considered doing voice work, but isn't committing.
Impersonations: With his skills in singing, he learned a clever trick to impersonate a wide range of voices. He's mimicked his father, friends, famous character from shows or movies. He uses it sometimes to play innocent jokes on people.
Thought process: Tadashi's time in Canada had him reflecting on himself and a lot about himself. He had become very self aware about not only his strengths but weaknesses, having sought out a therapist for his issues. He thinks deeply about a lot of things and asks questions that matter.
People Reading: Tadashi is still learning to analyze properly but he has a keen sense of being able to read people, thinking about why they act the wat they do and what motivates them. This could lead someone to think he has malicious intent, but in his journey to better understand himself he has a deep desire to understand other people.
Talking: Tadashi has a knack for speaking very eloquently. He likes to choose his words carefully and means everything he says (except for his jokes and puns).

Weaknesses:
Depression: Tadashi suffers from diagnosed depression. The situation he was living with at school, combined by the loss of his brother had been a great deal for the young man to deal with. He's learning to deal with his depression and truly does enjoy life and all that it brings but sometimes it gets the better of him and he can't help it. He's still seeing a therapist to tackle this burden.
Old reputation: The fact that everyone who knows him knows his history at Airdalen and might be judging him because of it.
Decisions: He sometimes takes an unnecessary long time to make a decision that he deems his important.
Intelligence: His intellect isn't very normal. For how smart he speaks and thinks, his grades are actually just a little above average giving off a bad impression for those who base intelligence solely off of what the school measures.
Animals: Especially baby ones.

Family:
Father: Ryokama Kiomine- comfortable/formal relationship
Image
Ryokama is a moderately known politician, he's most known for international affairs in the west in regards to trade, defense and many other issues. He's a practical man that has a tendency to believe too much of what he says and can become entrenched in a point of view for the sake of making a point during an argument even if he's very wrong. Despite this, he tends to show how much he cares for his remaining son through actions, though he's too proud to openly speak on his feelings. He can share a conversation with Tadashi easily but they sometimes run out of things to talk about. He's still serving his term in Canada as the Japanese ambassador.

Mother: Nagisa Hironumera- comfortable/relaxed relationship
Image Nagisa is the ex-wife of Ryokama and Tadashi's mother. After his parents separated she looked into starting a business and now runs a small flower store that specializes in growing flowers that typically can only be found in northern Japan. She's done her best like everyone in the family to get by and live with what happened, an opposite approach compared to her ex husband. She likes to check up on Tadashi regularly and is extremely happy to have him back in Japan where she can see him again.

Brother: Shozue Kiomine- Deceased- extremely close/loving relationship
Image

Shozue and Tadashi were extremely close brother that always got along, even as little kids. Their parents were envied by all of their friends for the boys' behavior. Shozue grew up always being 'different' until early in his his 6th grad year that he mde the self-realization that he wasgay. This prompted an onslaught of severe bullying from his class mates. Both in person and 'anonymously' online. He regularly confided to his older brother, trusting him with his secret although it weighed in on him very much as such a young age. In 7th grade Shozue unfortunately could no longer deal with the mental an emotional anguish of his abusers and decided to end his life.

Music Teacher: Sasuke Harumas- student/teacher relationship
Image
Sasuke or 'Mr Harumas', is Tadashi's music teacher and singing coach. The adept man is an accomplished opera singer and musical company director. He serves some other ancillary functions similar to a butler but Tadashi insists on not calling him him such. Sasuke is a patient yet very clever man, having a deep knowledge in music as well as teaching as well as mentoring young pupils who aspire to be stars in the music world. His interest in Tadashi is as much professional as it is personal finding Tadashi the most interesting of his pupils. It's just common enough to not appear strange seeing the adult driving Tadashi around or preparing a meal for him. Even though he serves in a serving capacity, Tadashi's appreciation is always present and obvious. He's implored to never cook his ward a meal unless there is enough for himself.

"Hmm..." Tadashi's morning was a low one. He awoke to his speakers playing the gentle strums of a cello solo-ist and had promptly decided to skip the snooze-sleep-snooze cycle. He slowly walked down the stairs leaving his bedroom and went down into the living area. He lived in a corner town-home on the edge of the Tazikane District, or rather it was 'downtown'. A hip locations where mostly college students lived. The area suited him very well, his home was 2 stories with a roof for a balcony, 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms a kitchen and open wood floor area that doubled as a living room and dining room. He loved the house but hated how empty it felt with him just living there. One of the larger rooms was turned into his music and performance room do to the superior acoustics it provided. This left him in the master bedroom upstairs, the other empty room down the hall from his own which was the second largest bedroom. The music room which was down stairs next to the empty guest room. This home was designed with the mindset of hosting several different individuals and was accommodating as well. The architecture was rather clever for maximizing space on the inside, looking at it from a distance you wouldn't suspect it being a 4 bedroom home. Tadashi was leaning against the counter in his kitchen sipping on some fresh tea he just made when a phone call came through. He answered the phone calmly after taking another sip from his cup. "Hello? Oh yes, mister Harumas good morning. I see-.... Excellent, I'll be starting today then?" Tadashi smiled hearing more good news as he stepped towards his front door and saw the package he was just told about would be waiting there. "Honestly mister Harumas you're too much. Do I have to keep reminding you that you are not a butler?" His tone was sarcastic but he simply smiled as he looked at the package in his hand. "Understood. I won't be late, thank you again. Good-bye."

He hung up and moved into action. That was the phone call he had been waiting for. His credits and grades had been transferred and successfully accepted by his old school Airdalen Academy. He showered and changed into his uniform, shaking his head noticing that his music teacher as well as mentor had acquired the proper size for his school uniform. He had opted to buy his lunch at school today, grabbing his black satchel bag and straightened his home before departing his house. He out two earbuds in and decided to walk, listening to opera music as he started his journey. His choice of location was purposefully far away. To arrive at his school, it required a 12 minute train ride, or a 23 minute bus ride. The walk alone was nearly 40 minutes from his home to the front gate. Or if he caught a ride, a direct drive would be 18 minutes. But this didn't bother him, yes it meant that he had to wake up a tad bit earlier but he was able to maintain his privacy. Besides, the night life by him home was something worth checking out, he was right at the epicenter of creativity and fun in the city that they lived in. It spoke very much too him, he was just close enough to walk to all the interesting sites and locations but far enough away that he wasn't bothered but the very same population he decided to surround himself with. Tadashi opted on the train, going down into the tunnels and selecting his seat. However he stood up when he saw a mother carrying her baby and insisted that she sit down and take his place. He stood for the rest of the journey listening to his opera music peacefully until he arrived at his location.

Emerging from the subway, Tadashi glanced around at his surroundings beginning to have minor flashbacks and reminiscent memories..... Not all of them were pleasant. He took a moment to breath in some fresh air and moved on getting closer to his old school. His mind couldn't help but wonder what might happen once he gets to school. Wold anyone remember him? Would everyone remember him? Was there a chance that stories about him had spread so much that even the younger freshmen knew? He was a known character in the school for being.... Different back then. Nobody really talked to him. But he had told himself to let it go some time ago, Tadashi knew that he wasn't entirely over it as much as he wanted to tell himself that. It's hard to forget the bad things that had happened to you in the past. Tadashi walked on until he met the front gates of Airdalen. He looked up and saw the sign, reading the school name as well as it's quote below it from across the street. He felt his heart begin to pick up as he crossed the street, getting the attention of the guards who were turning to greet him when he finally arrived. Tadashi choked a tiny bit on his own words, but then cleared his throat to introduce himself. "Good morning. I'm a transfer student that's starting here, I was told that my name would be on a list? I am Kiomine, Tadashi." They checked a list, but then pulled a sticky note from off the guard shack wall and looked it over. He was promptly allowed in, being addressed that he was late but it was no big deal seeing as right now the clubs were having a moment to recruit. Tadashi thanked the men and went on to the faculty office to get his credentials in order. Arriving inside the school, he scanned all around taking in every detail of the difference he was seeing from back then. One thing that was for sure was- everything seemed smaller or shorter. He smiled at the realization remembering that he was 4 inches shorter over a year ago as well as several pounds heavier. He moved on to find the faculty office, wondering if all the same teachers were here- and if they remembered him.

Tadashi left the office holding a file in his hand and gently closed the door behind him. He had a small smile on his face, from talking to his teachers. What they discussed, he planned on keeping to himself but it was heart warming to say the least. The senior wondered the empty halls trying to go off of memory to how the school was laid out and it did not fail him. He found the gymnasium just as he had remembered it in building E. He headed into the locker room to change into his gym clothes, constantly looking over his shoulder in case he missed seeing anyone in here. He did hear some commotion from around the school thanks to the club activities. It cheered him up to hear all of the enthusiastic students getting involved in what interested them. Tadashi was told that he would get a chance to sign up for the classes after school seeing as he couldn't possibly have enough time to review them all so quickly. He would wait a little after the bell rang to enter the gymnasium finding the last of the students to leave going to their respective classes. It seemed that Tadashi was the first to arrive for this specific class, looking over his schedule. "It appears that I'm in the right location... Freshmen and seniors share this class together. I guess then I'll have a chance to meet my junior." He looked over her information for a moment. <Hmm.... Is she related to Kitogawa, Shiori?> He remembered the smartest girl in his class (Shiori) from all those years ago. But nothing about her having a sibling- especially one with pink hair. Tadashi decided to put his file away knowing that he wouldn't need it for gym class. He moved towards the bleachers and sat on the first row of seats, the senior took a breath and reclined back trying to relax before class started. His mind couldn't help but reflect on what had happened here before and what could happen now. He would wait and closed his eyes, thinking of a certain song he was writing at the time. His right foot tapped on the ground to the beat he had written for it. <So this is how it all starts again.... A lot more peaceful than I originally planned.>

Johnny "Jay" Farelli

It was fortunate that the bell rang right after Smokin’ In the Boy’s Room was finished. Johnny returned the guitar with a thumbs-up. The other members seemed to enjoy the foreigner’s contribution, even if none of them knew just what the hell Johnny sang in the first place. As such, they returned the thumbs-up. The crowd seemed to like the music as well. Apparently American stuff was popular over here.

β€œAlright!” Johnny whooped as he vaulted over the table once more. From his uniform pants pocket, he produced an eight-and-a-half by eleven sheet of paper, which contained his class schedule. With a quick glance, he memorized where his first class was taking place. His height allowed him to find Katsumi’s half-cornrows pretty easily. Thankfully, the crowd began to thin as the announcement was acknowledged by more and more students. β€œLooks like I’m going to Gym Building E,” he said once he arrived before pocketing the paper once more. His voice sounded only slightly strained, as if he had just spent the past few minutes putting his all into something strenuous on his vocal chords. β€œI gotta hit up my locker. I’ll see you later, Kat!”

Johnny, being a bit of a well-meaning dumbass, did not realise that the class was being shared by seniors and juniors. He headed off on his own once more, now borderline desperate to get out of the sea of shorter people. Once he finally found himself away from the crowds, Johnny rushed to his locker and swiped his school bag. After emptying the books he wouldn’t need for Phys. Ed, he locked up and slung his single-strap backpack over his shoulder.

Currently, he was packing his work-out uniform: a white tank-top with baggy dark green pants. His salt and pepper cross-trainers were complemented only by a matching bandana- which Johnny used to keep his longer bangs out of his eyes. Along with the uniform, Johnny had a second lock, which he would only use whenever he’s using a locker at a gym.

He then walked down the hallway. From his other uniform’s pants pocket, he produced the campus map. He was on his way to Gym Building E. Finally, the education will commence. Finally he can get started on leaving ancient history behind.

Leave ancient history behind. No regrets.

Johnny pushed the men’s locker room door open with next to no effort. The locker room was clean, and retained a slight bleach smell from several days ago. It was a common scent for a locker room at this time of year. The lockers themselves almost glowed in the fluorescent lights that lined the ceiling.

Johnny stepped over to an unused locker and flung off his uniform shirt and jacket. It then took one side glance, where he spotted a shorter, yet older-looking boy, for the foreigner to realise he was not the only one there. The other boy was rather quiet. Johnny imagined it may have something to do with the unusually coloured eyes. With his face-reading talent, Johnny read something similar to Ryou’s own gaze. Some kind of darkness- possibly a regret of some kind. Johnny knew the look well- he saw it in his own face sometimes.

No regrets.

Regardless, this was the time to move forward and make friends at this new school. With a friendly, very calming smile, Johnny greeted, β€œYo what’s up?” Immediately after he said that, he realised he said that in English. He quickly repeated a similar, if simple and unnecessarily polite greeting in Japanese. Hanging with Katsumi all morning made Johnny forget he was in a foreign country. As he corrected himself, he removed his uniform pants and similarly tossed them into the locker. Afterwards, he’d slip on his workout outfit, starting with pants, tank-top, shoes, and finally the black and white bandana. He would be doing all this during the conversation.

At least, he would, if he did not later realise that the boy had already left before Johnny could say anything. Dumbass. "Oh," he muttered as he continued to change in silence.

Yuuki realized that the recruits were being interviewed and let out a soft sigh. She really detested things like this, but she assumed one interview wouldn't hurt, besides, if she got it over with then they would have no reason to do it again. The thought of getting everyone off of her case was more than enough to keep the purple haired student in the area. Yuuki closed her eyes and let out a sigh, pulling out paper and pen before writing a few math equations down from the top of her head. She didn't go easy on herself and she began solving the first one, albeit with a bit of difficulty. Math was her worst subject, but that wasn't saying much. Her grades were phenomenal, but her math score was a B- and she wished to improve. She plugged in the needed formula and her pencil began searching away at the paper as she continued to write numbers and letters. Whoever invented math has a sick sense of humor.. Yuuki thought to herself, but would never speak aloud. She loved school, but she would be the first to admit that mathematics courses were among the cruelest and most unusual forms of torture available to man.

"Fujioka, Yuuki-chan?"

Yuuki's body instinctively jolted into action, causing her to stand up quickly as her name was called. When her attention focused in on the source of the voice she realized that she was next to be interviewed. Yuuki picked up her scrap sheet of paper and pen folding up her personalized questions to finish later, seeing as she'd only gotten a little more than halfway through her self generated set of problems. We're hardly acquaintances, so why is she referring to me as Yuuki-chan instead of Yuuki-San?

"Ah, yes. You are Aeon's junior, correct? It is nice to see you again."

....Rude..She's getting on my nerves..This school has a bad case of poor manners.. She didn't even address him with respect... If she's close to him she could have at least used '-kun' when saying his name... Yuuki had to admit she was kind of bothered by the other girl's lack of an honorific when addressing Aeon, but she held her typically sharp tongue. She needed to join this club and unfortunately the pinkette was the club manager. She wasn't going to jeopardize her spot in one of the only solitary sports that the prestigious school chose to offer, "Yes, I am Belrose-Senpai's junior partner. It's definitely unexpected to be seeing you again." She decided to stick with a neutral greeting, not feeling particularly friendly, but she didn't entirely detest her as she did Miyamoto. She was simply annoyed by the level of familiarity that this girl exuded. Yuuki was not the casual type and she did not appreciate it when Arietta or this girl, known as Cassiopeia, spoke to her as if they were casual friends, because they weren't and she did not intend on ever being as such.

"Clio nice to see you! Clio again! Clio nice to see you!"

Yuuki eyed the pink ball, but averted her gaze. She couldn't look at it very long because it sent a shiver down her spine. It was a feminine overload of artificial intelligence and it spoke in third person, that was more than creepy enough for her tastes. I-I think it is talking to me..

"I am glad to see that you are interested in Archery. I hope that you can enjoy your time with us. Oh right, do you have any prior experience with Archery?"

"I needed an athletic extracurricular in order to enrich my college resume." She responded in a calm and matter-of-fact manner, seeing as she did not truly have an interest in the sport, although she didn't mind learning. Deep down, Yuuki did truly wish to learn how to shoot an arrow, because it was simply badass, "I've had no prior experience. Belrose-Senpai suggested it because I do not wish to join a sport where I am expected to waste my time socializing." Yuuki informed her Senpai, Cassiopeia. She was growing tired of the conversation, wishing to either practice or leave, but the interrupting bell decided that much for her. Yuuki quietly bowed to Cassiopeia before retrieving her belongings.

She turned off her phone now that classes were beginning and made her way towards the gymnasium. Once inside she headed straight for the girl's locker room and chose a locker near the back. She put her bag inside, then looked around to make sure no one was around. Even though it would just be girls, Yuuki didn't want to be seen in an exposed state. She quickly removed her school clothes when she realized she was alone, neatly folding them inside of her locker and changed into the female workout attire before anyone saw her in her bra and underwear.

Yuuki tapped her tennis shoes against the floor, putting her school shoes inside of her locker on top of her clothes before closing the locker with a loud slam. She returned to the main room of the gymnasium, taking a seat on the bleachers not too far off from an unfamiliar but usually attractive male student (Tadashi), not that she should be surprised, because all of Airdalen's students seemed to be unrealistically beautiful, herself excluded. He's really.. No cut it out! Don't even think it! Just because he's been generously gifted aesthetically, doesn't mean I should note it. She felt like a weed among roses in this place, but it wasn't like it mattered. She didn't have time for romance, so why should she care if anyone thought she was pretty? It wasn't in her nature to start up a needless conversation anyhow.

Yuuki unfolded her paper and tried to work on the problems again. She succeeded with most of them, but she found herself irreversibly stumped on the last question that she had come up with. She always found calculus to be difficult, so she wasn't surprised that the question had her at a complete loss. I don't get it.. I know it's advanced for my age, but this school expects more from it's students.. Seniors are probably doing trigonometry, or even higher level math than that while I can't even accomplish advanced Calculus.

She knew the basics of calculus, even though she had never had the class in as a class in her actual school lessons yet. She was struggling to finish the course at cram school, and found her struggle to be unacceptable, she blamed it on being a slacker, although she was far from it. Perhaps if I fully cut out my one hour a day television I'll be able to study it longer and I might understand it?

Cassiopeia was still smiling as she listened to what Yuuki was speaking. It seemed she was the studious and serious type. That was a perfect fit for Aeon as far as she could tell. It was adorable in a sense. She jotted down what was said and then handed the younger girl a slip of paper which indicated the time for her skill assessment. It would be done by one of the Senior members or perhaps Aeon himself, either way it would be needed to ensure whether Yuuki would enter Archery or not. "Thank you for doing so. I hope to see you soon." She politely said as the school bell rang. She was not offended or even sensing that Yuuki was not liking her, well those kind of feelings usually breezed through her.

She helped with cleaning up before taking her leave. Her class would be Physical Education which she would be sharing with the freshmen. She was excited for it, but there was really not much she could do in it. This was one of the subjects that she was not good at and it was mainly not the lack of willpower. It was more like her health does not allow her to be extraneous, unless she wants to be grounded and be confined in the hospital. She took a deep breath and changed back to her school uniform. It was always fun wearing the training clothes, when she was done, she waited for Aeon.

He told her before that when it was come time for Physical Education they would go together always. She knew that he just wanted to look out for her. He did promise to do so. That's why she is able to live as happily as she could. There was nothing that brought her down and everyday was a blessing. She waited by the entrance of the dojo as Clio rolled around her feet. Her mind began to wander on various topics like, how was her family, what was Hotaru doing now, and where is that first love of hers. She knew that time was not on her side, but that was not on her mind and she honestly does not want to think about it.

She took a deep breath and tried to be more positive than ever. It was alright, everything will be fine. She placed a hand over her chest and had a rather gentle yet sad smile, before hearing her name being called out. She turned around and smiled that it was the person she was waiting for. "Aeon! Shall we go?" She had that cheerful smile back on her face. There was not an ounce of sadness present in there. It was in that condition that she and Aeon went to their class. People who saw them talked as always. It had been a consistent thing ever since she had transferred here last year. She was not really thinking about it, but she does find it a curious thing as to why it was a huge deal... perhaps, it was probably because of who Aeon is to these students.

Those were her thoughts when they soon reached the Gym. They were not late as Aeon would not allow that to happen. "I'll go get changed now! I'll see you later!" She said as she went towards the Girls' locker room. The others who were already there gave her friendly greetings, others looked at her as if scanning the entirety of her physique which was given. She was after all a very popular girl in Airdalen if not the most. It also helps that she is beautiful to begin with like those fantasy princess that can be seen on those wonderful paintings or stories. She returned the greetings in any case and began to change into her gym clothes.

The girls were rather envious seeing her rather slim and slender physique without a minuscule of fat and the bulging sight of muscles. Her skin was clearly flawless as well. It was hard not to look and probably why everyone wanted to help her dress back at the Archery club. She was soon finished as she kept her hair in a high ponytail while Clio was patiently following her. Once, she was out. She looked for Aeon, but the man was still not out. The people out and about began to ogle at her. The gym clothes do reveal those curves and flawless skin of hers. but she was oblivious to it. She decided to take a seat where she could easily be found.

She found her way to a seat at the front rows where there was already a male present (Tadashi). He was not familiar but seemed to be nice. "Excuse me, are these seats taken?" She pointed to the ones beside him and had a polite smile on her face while Clio echoed the question with its bouncy entrance. "Clio excuse! Clio seats taken! Clio excuse!"

β€œHeh, you’re crazy… you know that?”

"Eh? How do you figure?" Shiori inquired, unsure of what he meant. She tried to not jump to conclusions, but her mind was running rampant with ideas. It could have been taken as a compliment or an insult, but as soon as the word 'crazy' left his mouth she could only think of her mother and that was very, very bad. She didn't want to be that kind of crazy, and besides, Shiori felt that she was a fairly rational human being, except when it came to affection and intimacy. Academically she was successful and she was quite mature, so what deemed her as crazy? All she could do was blink. He's so confusing.. It was the only thought left in her head. How could she possibly come up with any other conclusion than that? She didn't withdraw her outstretched hand as he reach for the tools, mildly distracted from the reality of what was going on, that is, until Rhys spoke again.

β€œBut I could get used to it.”

Shiori's attention returned to the situation at hand and was ultimately embarrassed by Rhys' level of confidence, but also her own behavior. She could feel heat rushing towards her cheeks, so she quickly turned to face the broken sign, hammering away in means to fix it, "W-we have work to do!" She nervously stammered, her heart beating a bit faster now. Although he reminded her of Kazuhiko, Rhys was equally different. Kazuhiko was unable to make her heart beat this way, but he always seemed to take her behavior with stride, better than everyone else. She was beginning to feel that perhaps she could expand her social circle, perhaps there were more 'Kazuhiko' to be found. She remained quiet until her side of the sign was repaired, seeing as it took nearly that long for her blush to die down.

The school bell rang simultaneously with the two of them finishing the booth and she had to admit that ticked her off a little more than it should have, but there was really nothing that could have been done, besides, she really didn't care about the booth, she was mostly trying to take the heat off of Rhys, which seemed to be a success thanks to Gen's help in telling people to scatter. Gen is so amazing.. I wish people would respect me that way... people just listen because of my threats and hateful glares...

"What the actual blimey fuck? Fucking fuckity fuck that..."

She wasn't really sure what he was saying, seeing as most of his sentence had been filled with various versions of the same profanity, ...Does that even qualify as a sentence? Shiori pondered, though she doubted that it would. However, she now knew several different contexts in how to use the cuss word if she ever needed to utilize it, although she had never been one to typically partake in using such words. However the posture that Rhys took made her tilt her head, for some reason the fact that he had his hand on his hip was quite amusing to Shiori and she snickered a bit after she returned from delivering the chair to it's rightful place.

"Kitogawa-san, you can go ahead."

She was a bit hesitant, but she still had to change clothes so there was little room for her to argue, "Arigato." She responded in a simple tone, not really thinking into it the same way that he did. She didn't mind being a little late, but skipping class was out of the question. However, there was one person who would annihilate her for receiving a tardy slip, and she did not particularly wish to anger that demon if it could be avoided. She couldn't afford to be late simply because her horrible mother would be furious if she found out and seek revenge towards her eldest for inconveniencing her, "I suppose I'll see you in Physical Education class." She replied awkwardly, before bowing politely. Once the formality of a momentary farewell was over, Shiori ran off towards the gymnasium, as fast as the nonathletic girl could at the very least.

Shiori stood outside of the gym out of breath, and let herself regain composure for a moment. She remained out of sight to those inside and refused to enter the building in a state that could be defined as anything less than perfect. Once her breathing slowed, Shiori straightened out her hair and proceeded inside, making eye contact with no one as she strolled towards the girl's locker room. She entered without a word and began changing by the nearest available locker. She didn't try to hide her pale and skinny but also pristine figure as she changed, seeing as no boys were allowed in the women's changing room. She slipped on her gym attire and closed her locker, returning to where the others were waiting. She noticed that the current occupants were in pairs, so she sat off towards the top of the bleachers to herself, listening to music through headphones on her iPhone. I can't seem to melt this ice between me and other people.. Why can I approach others like a normal person..? I wouldn't even know what to talk about... Why do I have to be like this..?

When she looked up, she noticed a familiar face sitting down below talking to Cassiopeia. Her eyes widened a bit, but she squinted a little just to be sure that she wasn't imagining things. Nope, it was really him. He looked far different, but she remembered his face. She hadn't seen him in quite some time, but she wasn't one to forget faces and names that easily. His name was Kiomine, Tadashi and he had been her classmate some time ago. He was an outcast, similar to herself, yet she highly doubted it was of his own design, unlike her own. Judging by his appearance, he was not going to be deemed a 'loser' anymore, but who was she to say? She was still a loser, so she wasn't entirely sure what the popular kids deemed acceptable. Their tastes changed faster than a contraception pack.

Akira couldn't help but examine the unfamiliar girl who approached as she inquired about her phone, completely taken aback by her appearance. Their hair color was definitely similar, but upon further inspection it was not ivory, but instead a very pale blue. It was quite unique, much like her own. This girl's hair left Akira with a sense of reassurance, seeing as she had been previously nervous about the staff. She wondered if the staff would expect her to dye her unusual hair color, even if she could prove that it was one hundred percent natural. Akira wasn't even sure why her hair was so pale, especially since both of her parents had natural hair color.

"Darling, we'll find it."

Akira had to admit that she was taken aback, but was even more surprised when she felt a warm sensation against her trembling fist. Her eyes shifted between the booth worker, then to the light haired girl (Gen), admiring the girl for her observational skills. No one at the booth had realized how upset she was, yet this girl picked up on it with hawk-like precision. Akira nodded her head, feeling slightly reassured, but she knew that she wouldn't feel entirely at ease until she was reunited with the cellphone. She did not want to explain to Adrian why she didn't have the phone. She always thought she was more responsible than this, the entire incident crushing her pride immensely.

"Please don't worry, come and sit. A cake and some tea on the house? I am parched myself."

Although she had just finished a juice, she had to admit that the worry had left her quite famished. So despite her doubts, Akira hesitantly obliged, and slowly took a seat with Gen. Akira didn't even realize that the others had rushed off in order to look for her phone, but was surprised when she was being offered free cake and tea. She had never been able to eat a lot of sweets, especially due to her allergy, but she wouldn't refuse free food, especially since it was likely to be a rather grandiose selection. This school was full of rich students, and this girl breathed elegance. Now that she thought about it, she began to wonder if Mai was a scholarship student or simply wealthy. Her opinion would be affected by it, because Akira was not very fond of people who flaunted their richness. She found that most rich kids, especially in Britain, were snobbish and rude. She couldn't shake off her impression, especially since her poor excuse of a guardian was attempting to brainwash her into forgetting about 'love', and instead marrying into such wealth for the financial benefit of it, and her biological father (Her grandmother's son) left her mother for fame and fortune, thus abandoning unborn Akira and his stepson Adrian. Akira was fine with a simple life, her mother's third husband teaching her and Adrian that money was not the most important thing in the world, and even accepted the two kids as his own, unlike her biological father who ostracized Adrian. She couldn't help but hate money.

She couldn't tell if this girl was truly rich or not, but she certainly wasn't poor. Akira tried to ignore her inner thoughts which were causing her to stare off into space, shaking her head to snap out of the distraction, "G-Gomen!" Akira responded with a light blush, rubbing the back of her neck. This girl, despite coming across as generously financially stable, had not behaved like a snobby rich kid, yet she was treating her as such, and she did not deserve it. Akira felt like a horrible person, and smiled at her warmly in attempt to start over, "The phone was a gift. I'm just worried about it." Akira responded with a sheepish smile. She noticed as a maid filled their cups, and looked up at the girl across the table with a curious expression. She wondered if the girl (Gen) would handle her silence as well as she had handled her building anger, or if she'd finally had enough of Akira's crap for one day. Akira hoped that if anything, the other girl neglected to notice that her seatmate had dazed off into her own thoughts, because she did not wish to make a poor impression, and despite her hatred for money, she did not hate this girl (Gen). In fact, she found this girl to be quite compelling. She reminds me of a porcelain doll.. She's so pale and pretty...

"Thank you darling~ order what you would like."

She was quite surprised when the light haired female thanked the maid, tilting her head a bit. Perhaps I was wrong? She might not be entitled.. Akira thought to herself in bewilderment. She simply assumed based on the girl's poise and beauty, but was beginning to feel that those were not genuine factors that inherently defined the upper class. Akira accepted the menu, glancing down at the table afterwards, "Arigato... I'm really sorry for how I've behaved." Akira responded as she began to look over the menu, thankful that the ingredients were listed. She chose a simple cheesecake with strawberry glaze, seeing as she wasn't sure if she'd like anything else on the menu, she didn't want to insult the girl or the servers after all!

"Oh, pardon me~ Forgot to introduce myself."

Akira mimicked her table partner's table manners, but she was slightly accustomed to it as she worked part time in two maid cafes. Surprised by the quality of the tea, she took a second silent sip to further appreciate it. In the girl's defense, Akira hadn't provided her name either, so she wasn't all that offended by the lack of introduction, but it wouls help to know the girl's name, especially since it seemed that they would be in the same club, as awkward as that might be. Akira placed the teacup down gently on it's saucer before responding, "I forgot too, so it's okay." Akira replied in attempt to reassure the girl, wondering how big of a burden she was currently being on this club.

"I'm Gen Fukui but Gen will mostly certainly do on its own... and you are?"

"It's nice to meet you.. I'm Akira Blake." She wasn't certain if Gen was her senior or not, but she assumed that she was. Everyone here seemed to respect and listen to her, so she doubted that they were the same age. Despite wishing to dig in when the cheesecake arrived, Akira withheld her temptation, instead she delicately retrieved her phone from the table, holding it in her hands for a moment before smiling brightly to Gen and the butler, "Arigato! I can never thank you enough." She replied, feeling as though she'd cry in relief, but she held it back. Boys weren't allowed to cry after all, something she wasn't quite accustomed to just yet. Akira slowly ate her cake, which didn't take long seeing as most cafe portions were not huge, especially since this was not America, and no one felt the need to supersize things.

Akira stood once she was done, seeing as the bell had indeed rang, "I look forward to attending this club with you, Gen-Senpai, but I have to go now." She pushed in her chair, and with that, she ran off to attend her first class at this overly prestigous academy. She struggled to find the gymnasium, but once she did Akira did not hesitate to enter the building. She was faced with a very sudden predicament however, seeing as she would be forced to enter the boy's locker room instead of the girls. Akira looked around, noticing that none of the boys were present. She always wore a sleeveless shirt underneath her uniform to hide her bandages that bound her chest, so Akira removed her uniform blazer and button down shirt.

Left only in a white sleeveless undershirt, Akira slipped on her gym shirt. She placed her Airdalen formal blazer, tie, and button down into her locker before removing her belt, glad that she always wore two sets of underwear as well. A women's pair and a pair of boxers, so the boxers were more like shorts, at least her her mind. Akira slipped off her school trousers and quickly put on her gym pants. She let out a sigh once she was in the clear, closing her locker once all of her excess belongings were inside. She exited just as a few boys walked inside, sighing in relief as she avoided potential crisis. She noticed Cassiopeia on the bench, but she appeared to be talking to someone, so slowly approached the bleachers. Shiori was listening to music up top, so she decided to leave her alone as well, instead admiring the gymnasium in the process. She took a seat next to a nerdy looking girl and a boy that appeared to be her own age, but did not butt into their conversation. After her first experience in the boy's locker room, she felt to petrified to speak. She suddenly realized that sooner or later she wouldn't be so lucky. I don't know if I can do this! I never thought we'd have to change in public! What if I see them half naked!? Her cheeks immediately reddened at the thought, and she shook her head to remove the thoughts before they manifested any further.

<Open up my eyes; I need your light again- burning me inside; i need your love again. I can feel our-> "Excuse me, are these seats taken?" "Hmm?" Tadashi opened his eyes the his iris was now mostly purple, the lower quarter of them a deep red re-focusing until he saw a kindly looking girl standing beside him. His mind switched functions from going over the words to a song he was writing; to processing the world around him. "Clio excuse! Clio seats taken! Clio excuse!" His eyes scanned her features, but only as far as to her shoulders and immediately adjusted accordingly. He then looked down at the little bouncing ball that was taking to him in simple Japanese. His mind formulated words as he sat up from his reclined position and pivoted in his seat to give this new person (Cassiopeia) and her companion his full undivided attention. "No, by all means please feel free to sit." He looked through her eyes gauging further as to who this person was he was speaking to. First impression from the surface told him that he was speaking to someone that could easily be dubbed as one of the 'elite' in society. She was rather polite and gentle... Almost frail. There was only so much that he could go by from just an exchange of just 16 simple words. Her Japanese had a unique accent to it which peaked his curiosity. He had never seen this girl before (Cassiopeia) which prompted him to assume that she was an exchange student from somewhere else, very far away. Tadashi made a subtle sweeping gesture to the seats beside him allowing her to see the vacant space- and able to see the numerous scars on the inside and upper side of his left arm. It looked like the inside of his arm had been slashed with a knife well over 50 times, which was entirely accurate. This was an act he would had deliberately tried to hide some time ago, but that was the old Tadashi.

"My name is Kiomine, Tadashi. Would I be correct in assuming that you're a senior here, as well as transfer student?" Tadashi spoke up again, his voice having a practiced and natural flow as if he was narrating the introduction to the girl. He was rather proud of his growing vocal abilities and did practice on the people he interacted with, both in Japanese and English. Tadashi would roll his shoulders back just slightly to show that he was listening keenly to his new visitor (Cassiopeia). He had plenty of practice practicing this with his father and the acquaintances of his father- mostly politicians that loved to talk about himself. Tadashi's eyes showed a unique twinkle in the morning light, he was steady and patient even holding a small calm smile across his lips. Whatever she said, Tadashi would listen as if it was imperative that he caught every detail. One might feel a sense of importance when talking to him, he would look at you as if he understood a person the way they most desired to be understood. He knew, because more than anything he wished for people to understand him in the same aspect. He projected outward what he wished to see in other people, the thought-process was something called 'influence-molding'. One didn't have to be overtly dramatic or intrusive to effect change in a person's behavior. The woman he was speaking to already had influenced him and his behavior. Within 30 seconds of meeting her (Cassiopeia) Tadashi knew to be more kind to her and the people around her. Watch his language and hold a kind nature for her sake. A small part of him wondered what his 'influence-mold' was on her. He wore all his scars and marks on his chest proudly, yet quietly. His eyes shown like a pristine crystal that had been shattered and placed back together several times over. Not many people where in the gym yet, but he knew that the few that were in and not sucked into their own words would watch them. Tadashi didn't from a distance seem the type to 'fit-in' with Cssiopeia's type. But that was the appeal of this girl he felt.

Tadashi would cast a very quick glance to the individuals around him, seeing all were appearing to be underclassmen. However he would be incorrect missing Shiori sitting near the top of the bleachers. <4 other students... Including myself and this one, that makes 6. 4 boys, and 2 girls... There will be more.> He did find it a tab bit strange however how one seemed to be dressed like a gang-banger- an American one at that (Johnny); when everyone else was in their school P.E. uniforms. But he could find that out rather quickly, unfortunately he missed the greeting the taller and built underclassman had greeted him with before he left the locker room. In his mind while he listened to Cassieopeia while processing and putting information together that he gathered around him. He heard a rough segment of Saburo's statement but not enough to act on it, since he mind was thinking about several different things at one time. That was a unique quality of his, but he did want to get better at it.

"There are those who would return and embrace a sense of rebirth, but in the end. one thing has not change and that is the essential one."

Club recruitment was now done which was signified by the school bell ringing as it also meant the transition for classes. Aeon looked at his fellow members to whom there were no words needed to be spoken. They understood what their Kaichou wanted from that one look alone. It was time to settle the recruitment activities and to finish the rosters of new recruits while asking for the rest who has yet to be assessed physically to come back at a later time. He then told Miyano to send him a copy of rosters afterwards which was acknowledged. After doing that, he left for the lockers to get changed. When it was finished, he went to pick up Cassiopeia. The next class would be at the Gym located in building E. There was no problem in locating it, nor was it a concern for him personally, but it was an issue for the pink-haired princess.

It was Physical Education and he has to ensure that she would not overexert herself in the said activities and if utmost required, only the bare minimum. This would only be the time that Aeon would be restrictive about any with her. In this activity, Cassiopeia's health condition might be exposed and that was the one thing which must not happen as there are explicit rules in regards to that. At that same time, he did not want her high school life to end due to such a mistake or anything else. He soon found her waiting by the entrance. "Cassiopeia." Her name rolled out his lips with such an ease indicating that it was the most normal thing for him to speak about. One of the many reasons that causes Cassiopeia to be envied by others. She was the only one he does call by first name and without any honorifics.

Other than that, it was clear by anyone's perception that the pink princess was treated far differently by Aeon when compared to the others. Cassiopeia indeed has special privileges. Something that cannot be understood, unless explained it, however, that would not be happening anytime soon. He approached the pink-haired princess who brightened up at his appearance with such an innocence that should have disappeared due to her inevitable situation, but instead, her brightness was further enhanced by it. "Yes, we must not be late." He then lead the way to the said gym which would be shared by the freshmen and the seniors. That would mean his junior, Fujioka would be there.

Speaking of which, Aeon had not seen Fujioka in the skill assessment. Perhaps, the allotted time was not enough. If that was the case, he would see her later. If not, she would not be seen less by him. Either way, she would still be his responsibility throughout the program and she was not a burden as far as his interactions went with her. If he would compare to the people who along the way were yet again looking at his direction. He knew that many eyes were on him and Cassiopeia. It had been ever since the Argyris princess had attended Airdalen on her first day. It also does help that she is an expressive person when it comes to her show of friendliness and care accompanied by her coveted beauty. However, that is simply how she is and he would not change that.

They soon reached the gym building and was not late for that is something he would not like to have on his records. Aeon would like to keep it untarnished. Cassiopeia then said that she would go and get changed. "Of course, I will see you after then." Those were the simple parting words as he headed to the men's lockers. Duly expected, the men there instantly stiffened in his presence which he sees as particularly unneeded. However in their eyes, Aeon was like the perfect specimen and that would be seen as he went to his locker and began stripping to get into his gym clothes. His skin was smooth and white much like that of perfect marble. The musculature was well-defined yet not overly so. It was enough to define him as a man of strength and discipline. His sense of style was simple, but had always a class to it.

He neatly folded his school uniform and wore a simple white shirt and black jogging pants partnered with a pair of rubber shoes. His hair was in a low ponytail giving him that feminine grace, just the right hint making him attractive rather alluring to the senses. After doing so, he left the locker room, but not before being stopped by some of the students who greeted him and he replied in politeness. When it was done, Aeon had finally exited the room and began to look for Cassiopeia and soon saw her at the front rows appearing to be conversing with a male student (Tadashi). There was no need for introductions on his part. The face was familiar to him even if the said person had indeed changed physically. In any case, he went to where the pink princess was and introduced his presence.

"Cassiopeia." Aeon started as he was now before the two. His eyes landed on the male student (Tadashi). "Pardon my interruption, Kiomine-san. I see you have come back." His eyes of gray blue reflected that of Tadashi's image with the seen hint of familiarity. However, there was nothing more than that. It might have come as a surprise. Since, they do not interact with each other during the freshmen year nor have their school activities had intersected at some point. Yet, they had been classmates and apparently would be the same now. As such, it would be normal for him to know the man and it was also due to his memory, that would not allow him to forget. "Let me welcome you back to Airdalen." And there it was, the flawless manner and politeness and without fail eyes certainly on the three of them.

"Really? Thank you very much." Cassiopeia expressed her sincere appreciating with a bright smile which was joined in by Clio. "Clio thank you! Clio thanks! Clio!" The little pink ball bounced energetically while flapping its ear-wings in delight. She bowed in her inherent polite conjectures and then took her seat beside him in a seamless elegance, befitting of his assessment. "It is a pleasure to meet you, Tadashi-kun." She smiled in her ever cheerful manner as the unfamiliar male student introduced himself and even threw in a question. She was clearly not seeing the suddenness of her addressing someone she had just met by their first name and using a friendly honorific all together. Well, it was simply how she is. "Yes, you are correct! I am a senior student. I just recently transferred here last year. Oh, silly me!" She gave an utter look of embarrassment with her cheeks slightly flushing in color. "Where are my manners? I haven't introduce myself yet. My name is Argyris, Cassiopeia Elegy. You may call me whatever you see fit." She then reached out her hands for Clio who instantly jumped into her hands. "And this is Clio."

Clio's eyes blinked in red as if confirming its name. "Name Clio! Pleasure to meet! Clio Name!" She nodded at that in appreciation of Clio introducing itself before she showed hers as well. "Are you a senior student too?" She queried and then blinked a couple of times before asking another. "I've never seen you before, are you a new student here?" Her question was indeed out of curiosity but also it implies her desire to know about him, a trait she does to show an expression of wanting to be friends. She paused for a while and leaned towards him suddenly. Their faces being awfully close as her eyes of mauve blue much like that of amethyst in shade gazed at him intently. It was mentioned by Akira and even Rhys that she does not have a sense of security towards her and people, especially towards men who might take advantage of her actions when hers had always been innocent.

"You have such beautiful eyes, Tadashi-kun." She stated with the sense of wonderment in her voice and her expression showing the same. She was after all who does not hide behind a mask when it comes to her emotions. "Beautiful eyes! Clio eyes beautiful! Clio eyes!" The little pink ball chimed in as she agreed to that statement. "It's like the color of sunset... so pretty." She was not simply saying that, but she was saying it because it was the truth in her eyes. Her actions, once again much like in Rhys' case incurred the same treatment as some of the boys around gave Tadashi, the harshest glares and without fail another rumor mill would spreading soon enough. She on the other hand was truly oblivious to it as she finally pulled away. She then had a thoughtful look which slowly turned into concern as her eyes went towards his arm, earlier she saw what looked like to cuts, healed, but the mark remained.

"Are you hurt?" She asked and then looked back at him. "We should get you treated if so and we might just met, but if you need anything, please don't hesitate to ask me anything." This time her smile was still bright, but held a gentle kindness and an unyielding sincerity. It was at that point, she heard her name and that made her perk up immediately. She looked at the direction of that voice and smiled happily. "Aeon!" No matter what, she can always dependon Aeon finding her. She then blinked her eyes in surprise and wonder. "My, do you know Tadashi-kun, Aeon?" She looked at Tadashi and then to Aeon. "This is an amazing coincidence, isn't it? I hope you don't mind Aeon sitting with us, Tadashi-kun." She then looked back at Aeon. "Aeon, why didn't you tell me that you know someone who has beautiful eyes like sunset?"

There was a light pout on her lips. "I really like Tadashi-kun's eyes." She looks back at Tadashi and points at her lips. "But I think it would be prettier if you also make them smile." Clio chimed in again. "Clio smile! Clio pretty! Clio smile!"

The exhibition game came to an end. Ryou's team win and he was glad about that, but more, he was glad that it was a good game. The opposing team did not let up. "Good game." He noted towards the team members, before being called by the coach to start in the assessment of the ones wanting to join the basketball team. This part, he was really not fond of. It was fine if it were the guys, at the very least they were sensible, but it was different with the girls, and they are a co-ed team. There was no way he could get behind it and now being the captain, that gave him more responsibility.

He still relented because it goes against his nature, but it was not enough as the bell soon rang. It was time for classes, that's why the recruits and the ones not yet assessed will be scheduled at a different time. That was all for now and he managed to survive that even with the rather horrid display of the girls wanting to wipe the sweat off his brow or something. He doesn't understand what could possibly be good in wiping his sweat off. Girls are sure weird...

He managed to get changed into his uniform before leaving the gym. There were a few words with the other team members like if he was available later for free-time after school. He refused the offer since he does have a job to get to and also the promise to his kid brother. He was going to be pretty busy after school hours, so no time for extracurricular things, and really the hanging out session was actually a mixer and he definitely did not want no part of it.

His class would be PE that was on building E, so he didn't waste time as he went there.

Ryou went to the men's locker room. There were some boys present who immediately jabbed each other. They were in awe of his presence which he could still not really think what was the use for. They were boys, it was the same body parts, granted he was taller than most, but still the same anatomy. He ignored them and changed into the gym uniform which was a plain white shirt with the Airdalen logo on it and a pair of jogging pants. He paired it with his gym shoes and then went out. There was nothing else to do really at that point. He really wasn't in the mood for small talks so, he looked at the bleachers where he could have some alone time.

He could see that Cassiopeia along with the school idol were at the front row with a unfamiliar looking student. He was definitely not going to take that. He then looked around more noticing that Shiori was on the top bleachers with an earphone in her ears. That meant the girl wanted to be alone, so he won't bother. His eyes moved on and noticed the presence of Akira, the guy that looked like a girl sitting beside another girl, he remembered that one where Johnny talked to yesterday about misunderstanding the words or something. Then, there was Inoue, one of the newest members in the basketball team. That bench was a bit too crowded for her taste as he instead went to one of the empty bleachers on the far side, but on the top row.

He then took his seat there and eased himself, hoping no one would find him there, but that would be impossible. He could hear some students piling to the gym, some looked to be freshmen. That's right the senior shared this class with them. He was not opposed to that, but he could hear from afar his name and even the school idol's. This was going to be rough. He should have brought something with him to cover his face or bury himself in a book. Ah, that's right. He took out his phone and remembered Reisha saying she installed some kind of book app on it. That was worth a shot. He found it and learned the process and he finally got an e-book which was about a collection of science fair projects. This would be a good reading material.

He did say he would help his kid brother, so he brushed up on his common basic science skills and was rather engrossed on it as he drowned himself in it, completely ignoring the noises and the harping voices of girl that managed to locate him, but they seemed to be hesitating as he was rather busy with whatever was he doing on the phone and him? He just didn't care until the teacher comes and tells them that class is about to start. He would read and understand every angle on the various science projects. He did have to make sure that it would at least get a good grade now? He couldn't let Hikaru be disappointed after all.

Johnny β€œJay” Farelli

The first thing Johnny noticed upon entering the gymnasium from the locker room was that this school seemed to have official gym uniforms on top of the regular ones. Johnny found this unusual for two reasons. The first reason was that his previous schools never had gym uniforms, so most everyone back home dressed the same way he did. More importantly, however, he was supplied a regular school uniform, but the received package oddly did not contain a gym uniform. His attire was as-is because there was, hilariously, no other choice. He was obviously dressed like a gangbanger, but most every boy in his old neighbourhood dressed that way. The foreigner never got into gang activity, despite his attire and confident demeanour. Frankly, he miraculously had no idea what a gangbanger was. Hopefully the teacher wouldn’t mind. After all, the bandana was only there to keep Johnny’s chestnut bangs out of his eyes.

His pants, though baggy, were the kind of pants parkour practitioners wore. Though he had the fitness for it, Johnny never tried parkour. Back in his old city, the neighbourhoods were very flat, with only five-foot chainlink fences as the only common obstacle. The nicer walls and structures that would suit parkour were very few and very far between.

His arms were bare, on account of the tank-top. The lack of sleeves made the intensely lean muscles quite noticeable. The tank-top itself was also quite snug, and form-fit around his chest and abdominals. If not for how goofy the borderline Charlie Chaplin-esque outfit made him look, the foreigner would’ve been quite a looker for the assorted ladies throughout the gym. Granted, if Johnny had tattoos, he would look less gangbanger and more Yakuza. Then again, he was a 17-year-old boy who didn’t even know what either one was.

The second thing Johnny noticed was that both boys and girls were present. Even at home, Johnny’s schools had separate classes for boys and girls’ Phys. Ed. Once he noticed that nearly every face was recognizable from yesterday, Johnny determined that this class was some sort of senior-junior activity. The one boy with the unusual eyes was seated at the bleachers, talking with a frail-looking girl with pink hair. That one dude with the slick silver hair was also there, looking almost like a butler… or bodyguard… or something. Apparently the frail pink-haired girl held some aura of great import.

The pink-haired girl had some kind of… what was it, some sort of teddy bear radio? He didn’t get a decent enough look, but he did catch multiple instances of a word β€œClio”. It didn’t sound familiar to Johnny’s language studies; was it some kind of name? If the foreigner had a better look, he’d probably be one part creeped-out by the thing that moved on it’s own, and three parts in awe at the technical wonder. Despite curiosity, Johnny opted not to butt in on their conversation… At least, not until he learned more of the language to hold a better conversation.

Instead, Johnny paced along the perimeter of the gym. He performed basic arm stretches as he walked. The foreigner kept his ears open as he readied himself for the upcoming class. He tried to listen to conversations to determine what was being said. Technically, it was eavesdropping, but Johnny felt it was more like a fun little language test. After all, he had left his dictionary in his locker- the idiot…

Among the students forming at the bleachers was a slender black-haired girl, (Shiori) a small albino boy, (Akira) his senior Ryou, and the one dude Johnny missed a chance to meet yesterday. (Saburo) The fellow music-lover was talking to the short, violet-haired girl… Yuuki, was it? Wait no! Fujioka-san. Damn, I’ve been slacking off on this language and culture all day, Johnny mentally berated himself. Once he made a lap, his arms felt loose. He bounded up the stairs on the far left of the bleachers. Innocently, he approached the black-haired girl, (Shiori) who sat alone near the top of the bleachers. After that successful friendly friend thing with Katsumi, Johnny’s memory of those two (NPC) girls from yesterday had vanished entirely. He was determined to be a dependable friend to everyone like he was back home. He just needed to introduce himself to everyone.

Given the time he spent stretching and thinking, he was sure not to screw this one up. He greeted and introduced himself in Japanese. β€œPleasure to meet you. My name is Johnny, but you can call me Jay.” His delivery was only slightly sloppy, but it was delivered with professionalism. He had used a fair amount of time last night practicing this new, more efficient greeting. He did miss the party, after all.

In America, and from a distance, the bandana-wearing Italian-American would look incredibly goofy when juxtaposed with a girl who appeared very well like the foreigner’s physical opposite. Though a fitting quote to criticize the scene would be "Clothes make the man," Johnny truly had no nefarious ideas. He just wanted to make friends ASAP. After all, he left everything behind when he moved.

Johnny glanced around at the empty benches throughout the bleachers. β€œAre these seats taken?” he asked in Japanese. It was obviously a dumb question, but it was only the polite thing to do. This time, the delivery was less practiced, but the professionalism still remained.

Gen was particularly curious about this light-haired junior boy (Akira). She was starting to get the feeling that she had seen him around before. She allowed her gaze to linger on him, hoping to retrieve the memory when it came to her. Oh~ Cassiopeia's junior. She showed me the photograph quickly during assembly. "G-Gomen!" He suddenly apologized to her but Gen was confused. She couldn't recall anything he had done that was worth apologizing for. Had her stare been noticed? "The phone was a gift. I'm just worried about it." Gen returned his uneasy smile with a kind, reassuring one. "A gift you say? I see..." Gen pressed her lips against the edge of her teacup about to take a sip but refrained for a bit to add, "It's completely alright to worry about what one values." She truly could not fault him for anything. Gen could put herself in the shoes of his situation and see that she would've also been upset had she misplaced a gift. In fact, she had a hidden box in her room of every admirer note she had received since a young age. Even though some remained secret admirers whom she had never the pleasure to talk directly with, she valued their feelings for her sincerely. Be it fleeting or stable, they were her treasures. Reminders of a time when someone found her worthy of notice, of attention and of love. However, Gen had no choice but to trash the weirder items she had received for the most part, a result of managing the school's host club. They could be very unsuitable for the lady she was aiming to be. Still, a gift was a gift even if it must be a token treasured in memory and not at all for the tangible form itself.

"Arigato... I'm really sorry for how I've behaved." Ah~ Gen finally understood what he was apologizing for now that he had made it clear. She still would not fault him for it though. He had been upset which was understandable, especially as she was informed that the missing item in question was not only valuable in cost but also valuable in sentiment. "It's quite alright. Had I lost something dear to me.. I would also be equally worried. I'm sure the others in the club also understand." She spoke in a calm and collected manner, speaking on the behalf of the staff as their president. As far as she knew, the boy had only made a request to them about his missing phone and there had been no quarrel over it. Gen would've only expected an apology if there had been notable aggression.

"It's nice to meet you.. I'm Akira Blake." "Charmed." Gen replied, well-rehearsed in her manners. It was a relief that soon after introductions and her tea had been finished, the phone was returned to him. "Arigato! I can never thank you enough." Akira appeared more than pleased with their service and the retrieval of his phone. This was good news, that Inryoku was living up to its name of pleasing customers and addressing concerns. It would have been awful for their club's preparations to end on a sad note for anyone.
Hm.. he's quite an expressive and lively one for a male. She was accustomed to the type who wouldn't bat an eyelash and keep firm without showing their real emotions. It made for a cute change of company.

The school bell rang loudly and proudly, capturing her attention as she pondered over what she had next to do. She was a little disappointed in herself that she had not been able to return to the drama booth before classes resumed. She hoped that her fellow members had been coping well enough and that Arietta would once again, be understanding that she was not present the entire time. "I look forward to attending this club with you, Gen-Senpai, but I have to go now." Hm? Gen did not know until that had been said, that she had been talking to a future Inryoku-in waiting. In understanding of the junior's rush to their first class, she simply bowed her head politely as Akira left. Well, that's that then~ She quickly guided her members to pack it up before also leaving to prepare for her own class. Since it was Physical Education, she was required to change uniform which would take up some time.

Gen changed into her sports uniform in the locker room modestly in comparison to other girls. It wasn't that she was uncomfortable among the others but rather because of her conservative ladylike mannerisms paired with insecurity. She honestly did not view herself as beautiful, no matter how many times she had heard the praises. To her, it was just a standard she tried to live up to like any other girl. She closed her locker, overhearing chattering girls discuss their chest sizes and body types as she passed them by. Gen made sure to avoid them, not wanting to participate in any discussion over physical appearance. She was more on the flat-chested side in comparison to her cohort. Does that make me less of a lady in a man's eyes I wonder? She lightly patted her cheeks upon exiting the room, trying to cast aside her insecurities for the moment. Gen wanted to be positive in her life and she would do just that, strive to look forward instead of dwelling stuck on all that could go wrong.

Reaching the gymnasium was overwhelming. It was hard to stay completely positive when she knew she had no strengths to contribute here. Still, Gen would try. Her eyes wandered around the seats and she blinked twice in recognition of a familiar face she had not seen for some time. Tadashi? He was recognizable to her but different. His physique had dramatically changed into someone more fit and good-looking. She was happy for him, apparent in her immediate smile as she remembered him. Gen lifted a delicate hand about to wave in his direction only to pause mid way as Cassiopeia entered her sights. The popular girl seemed to have a habit for leaning close to people Gen knew as she also recalled back to when she had seen her with Rhys.
Gen's lips parted in surprise for a brief moment before she lowered her hand and put on her usual subtle smile. But of course~ I suppose I shouldn't interrupt. Gen did not feel hatred against Cassiopeia but more like a growing inner rivalry towards her. Cassiopeia had what Gen didn't have or rather in her mind, the fate that was taken from her. Every time she looked at the pink-haired girl, she was reminded that she was born a mistake. Cassiopeia's life seemed brighter in comparison to hers. She was always attended to by others, maybe even seen above others and continuing life without experiencing real hesitation or a sense of loneliness in her endeavors. It was something Gen could barely stand, to see that a girl could be so blessed and naive about it. In comparison, Gen felt she was not loved so easily. She had to work to reach where she was every day.

Gen attempted to force her autophobia away as the thoughts were relentless once they got started. Think positive! There is no use dwelling on.. things that can't be altered. As she walked past more people in search of an unoccupied seat, she came across Ryou sitting by himself on his phone. He seemed focused on what he was reading so Gen made the effort to not disturb him. She sat to his left with her hands placed neatly on her lap. Her eyes were glued to the floor under her shoes as she quietly tapped them together, still trying to shoo away the insecurities building up within her. She was a mess mentally but was used to hiding her true feelings in front of people she was not close to. Anyone looking at her would think she was simply nervous about participating in P.E. In all honesty seeing Tadashi again as well as in the company of Cassiopeia, had also made her thoughts even more distracting. His leaving had been a shock to her and a guilt trip. Maybe Cassiopeia is capable of reaching him in ways that I wasn't able..

TADASHI KIOMINE

Tadashi could feel them... the eyes starring at them now. More and more students began to enter the gymnasium making it harder and harder for him to keep track. So to put it simply, he stopped counting freeing more of his mind to focus on the 'at hand' matters in front of him. The new girl (Cassiopeia) was elated to be able to sit next to him and did just thought. He smiled more naturally feeling her good nature rubbing off on him. Those judging from the outside might think that he would be faking, he definitely didn't appear to be the type to truly relate with such a pure and innocent girl like her. But he lacked the mannerisms that someone like Kazuki had. He was much gentler and quiet, never one to be boisterous.

"Really? Thank you very much." Tadashi smiled at the girl and her companion, passively holding up a hand. "Please, it's only the polite thing to do. I would never deny someone a place to sit if I didn't have a good reason to. "Yes, you are correct! I am a senior student. I just recently transferred here last year. Oh, silly me! Where are my manners? I haven't introduce myself yet. My name is Argyris, Cassiopeia Elegy. You may call me whatever you see fit. And this is Clio.""Name Clio! Pleasure to meet! Clio Name!" Tadashi had a reserved chuckle finding the company of the two to be rather enjoyable. "It is a pleasure to meet you both Argyris-chan. Clio-chan." He would make the extra effort to talk to her companion Clio as if he was another person, treating it with equal respect. It was very clear that this small robot meant a lot to her, so he would care for it in order to please the girl he was with. In the back of his mind he ran some thoughts through his mind, wondering how much that robot as actually worth to the girl. While thinking this through he would listen and answer all of Cassiopeia's curious questions. "Yes, I am a senior student as well. And to answer your second question, I am actually an old student here. I left to go abroad before last year started and had just recently returned a little over a month ago.". He kept it vague for a reason, although he did know that he could most likely open up to his new friend Cassiopeia he decided against it for now. He knew what was happening around him.

"You have such beautiful eyes, Tadashi-kun. It's like the color of sunset... so pretty." Tadashi blinked looking back into Cassiopeia's eyes seeing that she had leaned close. People had talked about his eyes before, not always in a positive light but it was about even in the variety of discussion. "Why- thank you Argyris-chan. He had leaned back at the first but soon, the senior adjusted and sat back up straight letting the pink haired girl invade his space. He knew that she meant no harm at all. He was deducing that it was simply her nature and she was very open about herself. He was surprised by her next comment, not very many people noticed his scars unless they were paying attention. "Are you hurt? We should get you treated if so and we might just met, but if you need anything, please don't hesitate to ask me anything." Tadashi paused for a moment to look down at his left arm, looking at what he had done to himself- but simply smiled. "No need to worry Argyris-chan. They don't hurt anymore, they're from a long time ago.... I feel much better now." And he did, it was the truth.

"Pardon my interruption, Kiomine-san. I see you have come back." Tadashi turned to see Aeon had approached and addressed them both. Or rather he addressed Cassiopeia first then moved on to him. He was startled to the fact that the 'school idol' had already known who he was, but was even more surprised that he was recognized so quickly. A part of him was relieved that he was remembered, but another small piece of his mind was rather disappointed that he could be recognized so easily. He was an observant one however, the 'white prince' of the school. He held no ill-contempt but the 'awe factor' of the trio was quickly rising. "Let me welcome you back to Airdalen." "Hai, arigato Belrose-San.... It is good to be back." He nodded to Aeon politely casting a quick glance to the growing students around him. His iris slowly shifted to more of a red listening around him-

"Did he just say Kiomine?" "Like- that kid that got picked on a disappeared?" "I heard he ran away to some foreign country." "I heard he was taken by the police because he wanted to kill everyone in the school." The seniors were getting suspicious, and the juniors were either clueless or being fed gossip about him if anyone cared to listen.

Tadashi shifted in his seat watching the two (Aeon and Cassiopeia) discussing with one another. It would seem that the usual cold and stone faced idol had become his new friend's closest companion. He found it amusing, but sensed that they had known each other for some time now given how they communicated with one another. That was an issue he could likely find out, but ultimately it wasn't his business. People would let you in when they were comfortable and ready to. Tadashi tilted his head up when Cassiopeia turned back after a childish pout pointing to her lips. "I really like Tadashi-kun's eyes. But I think it would be prettier if you also make them smile." Tadashi couldn't help himself. The entire time he just had a subtle friendly expression on his face, but his muscles twitched and moved beginning to smile all on his own. It wasn't a very large smile, but his white teeth were exposed in a flattering smile. He would look down after a moment, then gaze back up to get a better look at his surroundings. He got people glancing and starring at him from the jealous boys, to the curious girls and even more curious former-now current classmates.

Through the crowd he saw a glimpse of white-blue hair lower itself into a sitting position instantly recognizing it. "Gen..." He would quietly mumble to himself, suddenly having a desire to speak to her. Tadashi would stand up slowly and face both Aeon and Cassiopeia "I am terribly sorry for this. But seeing as I have just returned, there are a few people that I would like to see again. Argyris-chan." He would turn and step forward to the girl gently grabbing her hands in his own, a gesture he was sure to make an impression on her. She'd watch his eyes turn more purple now as he spoke again. "It was truly a pleasure to speak with you. Perhaps we can talk some more during class, or maybe even lunch. You appear to be a fascinating person. Would you like to meet again for food, or studying?" He would slowly let go of the woman's hands and took a step back to give a shallow bow, waiting for her response. He would bow again to Aeon. He glanced up noticing Shiori and perked up beginning to walk backwards. He noticed that the tall fellow (Johnny) was beginning a conversation with her but didn't want to interrupt.

Tadashi would wave towards Shiori in an attempt to get her attention. He did remember her very well, he had a smile across as he lips as he waved now very keen on speaking with her as well. He had so much to do in a short period of time. It was then that another pink haired girl had entered the scene and seemingly glomped his old classmate Shiori. He blinked and laughed a little bit, but suddenly recognized her looks realizing that it was Tsukiko. He sighed knowing that he had a responsibility to talk to her. <Why am I so worried about time? I have quite literally all of class to talk to people..>. Tadashi would pause and truly think about his options, even delving so deep as to think of an alternate reality of the different options he could make. It all made for an interesting thought but he couldn't dwell on that. After a blink of the eyes, changing the amount of red and purple in them so they were even again Tadashi would turn around and walk across the gym. He would look to Gen and smile, remembering their little talks they had together when he was younger. He had waited outside of the school the very last day to try and say goodbye, but he never got a chance to. The one person he wanted to confide to at that moment and he wasn't able to. That had really eaten away at him. He ignored the looks and politely excused himself around any students he walked past until he made his final destination. He was her (Gen) sitting by herself more-or-less tapping her foot nervously. He knew it wasn't a song, the beat was infrequent and sporadic. "Miss Fukui..." He would call out and kneel at somewhat of an angle to Gen'sleft. if she glanced up, he would look her in the eyes and smile. His own turning more purple as if a tide was rising on a beach. A soft smile was on his lips, having excused himself from absolutely wonderful company just to talk to her. He had a feeling that something was wrong but he wouldn't pry or intrude. He did feel compelled to the only friend he use to have right then and there, she deserved that.

"And just like so, the world would continue to spin, paying no mind of the trivialities we had declared as life."

Aeon was not the kind to ever forget any detail that he had laid his eyes on. That was a gift and a burden which he had to live by in his existence. It is why there was no denying that the male student in front of him was Kiomine who also confirmed this by responding as he gave a nod in answer to the other male's gesture. It seemed that Kiomine also knew him, but that was to be expected they were classmates at one point and would apparently be the same as of now. He was aware of the voices rising at the background as if the mere indication of lowering their tones would obscure the intent they all have, a misguided curiosity.

With a flawless movement, he glanced to his side. There was not a speck of emotion seen, yet the action spoke volumes for him. The gossiping students instantly turned away and silenced themselves. Aeon had been subjected to gossip and that had increased even more with Cassiopeia around him He was used to such things, yet he does not take kindly to it if anything defamatory had been said without the basis of facts. They could speak all they want as long as it would not reach his ears.

It is true that Kiomine's physical appearance had greatly changed from what was before as to what it was now. However, Aeon does not see anything that would warrant interest in that. If Kiomine desired to change himself, that is with his own right and no one should dictate or undermine that about him. In any case, his thoughts were pulled away when Cassiopeia addressed him. He gazed at her as she questioned his familiarity with Kiomine. "He was a classmate of mine during freshmen years." That was the simple answer and he could not say anything more about it. After all, that is simply how he had seen Kiomine before and even now.

In any case, Aeon took the seat beside Cassiopeia only when a positive answer was given. Despite the seats having no specific ownership, he had always been impeccable in his manners which prevented him from simply taking his position as he pleased. After doing so, she told him why he did not tell her about Kiomine who has eyes like the sunset. He was uncertain how he could do such a thing when he has no idea that she would be interested in such a thing. Furthermore, he was not the kind to ponder on anyone's appearance and talk about it. As long as it does not concern him, he would not do anything about it at all.
Image

Image
Furthermore, Cassiopeia was rather incredulous and impossible on that request. Yet, it was one of the things which he allows to pass when it comes to the pink princess. "I apologize for not telling you about it." Aeon answered as she then turned her attention back to Kiomine. She seemed to notice something Kiomine and was not having any sort of doubt in saying it. As for him? It was not something he should pry about or was it something he found beneficial in relation to him. That was the end of that as he noticed Kiomine standing and excusing himself in order to greet someone he knows. It was not offending and was acceptable in anyway. Though, the male did left a rather different impression on Cassiopeia with such a tongue of chivalrous intents.

One who believed that he and Cassiopeia are a couple would expect that he would show displeasure. However, Aeon did not change in his ever calm expression that had always been dubbed as indifference. In truth, he was not slighted about such actions as long as it would not be inappropriate or disrespectful to the Argyris princess, he would not intervene or say anything about it. For in truth, their relationship was not that of lovers even if it would be seem so from the eyes of the people. As such, he acknowledge the bow towards his person and answered with a simple nod of his head as Kiomine soon disappeared to the direction in which he desired to

As for Aeon, he simply sat there and proceeded to wait for the gym class to start. There was no need for him to tell Cassiopeia of her limitations, being by her side was enough reminder. For now, he shifted his attention to his phone that vibrated. He took a look and there was a text message from Rando. What would be needed of him this time? Without a hesitation, he opened and read the message. There was still time to spare after all.

Oh, they were classmates. Cassiopeia looked at the two men before contemplating the timeline. Aeon said that he was classmates with Tadashi during their freshmen years and Tadashi said that he was indeed an old student here. It does make sense, but she felt that the two were hardly more than simple acquaintances. That was rather sad, since Aeon seemed to know a lot of amazing and wonderful people. It won't kill him to be friendly, but then again, that was simply how Aeon is.

In light of the rumors being spoken about Tadashi, she was completely oblivious to it. The reason was because she was rather taken by Tadashi's beautiful eyes and also the fact that Aeon was able to resolve that situation before she could notice. She may be perceptive of people's feelings but, she was dense when it comes to other things which makes one worry constantly over her, not withstanding her relative pigheadedness and reckless behavior when it comes to helping people.

At the same time, Aeon did apologize for not informing her, but really she did feel that was a bit too much and inconsiderate, and plainly being a brat of sorts, but she could not help but complain about that. What she really meant about that was that Aeon never talked about anything with her until she asked for it of course. It would be nice if he could initiate a conversation that was not related to responsibilities even once or something along those lines, but then again, that was one of Aeon's so-called charms which was different from Tadashi who seemed to be reserved but also desiring to break through... like starting over, that was what she was getting about him, at the very least.

Then, Tadashi stood and faced her and Aeon. He was apologizing that he would be leaving them to say hi to his friends. "It's fine. You should say hi to them. I'm sure they'll be really glad to see you back!" She said with great honesty and belief as she even nodded her head as an action of assurance. Then, she felt her hands being taken by his. IT was a good thing that Clio jumped down from her hands and was now rolling beside her feet. "Tadashi-kun?" She was not seeing that as offensive, she was actually in wonder if something happened or if he was feeling under the weather.

Her concern waived a bit as she was engrossed by the rather interchanging eyes of his. It was then he spoke with such a straight face that he would like to talk to her more and saying she was a fascinating person. Her eyes blinked a couple of times at those words as she was taken out of her admiring stupor. She had heard the most beautiful words always being spoken towards her and that was unavoidable because of the family she was born to. She also understood that people would use others to raise themselves, she understood that well. But, what surprised her was not the fact those kind of words were being spoken, but she felt sincerity behind it, an offer of friendship and also the fact he said that with such a poker face.

She had always believed only Aeon was capable of that as she could not help but to smile brightly at that with her voice filled with a light hint of mirth. "I would love to meet you again whether it's food or studying, Tadashi-kun! It's really wonderful to have met you." Her hands were released again as Tadashi gave a bow and did the same to Aeon. "See you later, Tadashi-kun!" She gave a friendly wave of the hand before looking at Aeon. "He is a such a nice person. I think I have a new friend." She stated with cheer before noticing that Aeon's attention was on his phone. "Is there something wrong?" She asked as her eyes reflected worry, because at the end of the day, the one she cared the most was Aeon

There's always a chance I was forgotten. It makes sense without a farewell.

Gen was beginning to wonder if she had been overthinking the matter. Being forgotten seemed very likely. A fair amount of time had passed since their last meeting and she was one of the last to know that he had left the school. For a while, she assumed he was just absent until the rumors started. While not an easy one to fall for gossip, she knew that his leaving must be true. Along with that, she had never received a farewell parting. It was easy to assume that someone who is leaving would generally say something to those they care about while they can. They may not have been close but she still had come around to expect that as a formality.
The two ran in different social circles but she liked to talk to him now and then. His sudden departure had left her feeling guilty because she was not oblivious to his bullying ordeals and she wished she had done more to make his stay enjoyable. In fact, it was one of many situations that inspired her to join Inryoku as a place that was all about making students feel more welcome at school.

"Miss Fukui..."

It took her by surprise when she was approached by him as she was in the middle of reflecting. Gen having spotted him with Cassiopeia moments earlier, definitely did not expect him to see her specifically and so soon after. It made her happy as the initiative on its own contradicted her insecurities and concerns. Gen stopped her nervous fidgeting and returned to her usual accommodating self in no time. All she really needed was a positivity push.

"Tadashi-kun here?
A wish upon shooting stars,
Fate chose to be kind."

Gen said as she turned to face him, her fingers entwined together behind her back in a feminine fashion. She had recalled one of their junior-year conversations. His appreciation for poetry had always been one of his endearing qualities and she hoped that part of him at the least, hadn't changed. Gen had made the effort to speak in haiku off the top of her head as one of his favorite poetry forms. It was her small but personalized way of welcoming him back.

When he gazed at her and smiled, she returned the favor with a smile of her own. Her smile was genuine, showing off her pearly whites. Anyone would be able to read that she was actually happy to see him. Gen's emotions were for now natural, not finding her subtle polite smile appropriate for such an unexpected return. She had really believed they would never meet again as expressed in her quick haiku with, 'a wish upon shooting stars'. The final line 'Fate chose to be kind' was also expressing her joy at his return despite the odds.

"You look well. I have so many questions.. how are you~? Where did you run off to~?"

Gen's words were spoken in a slightly more cutely tone. It couldn't be helped as she had not seen Tadashi since they were younger. It made her revert to the way she used to be as if no time had passed at all. The "-kun" suffix was particularly something she rarely applied anymore but had made an exception on today without noticing. Gen did have a tendency to act differently depending on whom she was conversing with. Right now, she was a bit too surprised to contain herself completely but who wouldn't be when someone remembered fondly from the past reappears.

Interrupting their little reunion, her cellphone vibrated in her pocket. While Gen didn't want to be rude, she was curious to the text message she had received. It wasn't often that she would receive a message at all. "Please excuse me. I just want to make sure it's not urgent." She explained. Gen wasn't very tech savvy but the few text messages she did receive on a regular basis were from her father. She flipped the device open carefully to read the notification and would have put the phone right away when her curiosity was served if not for the sender. It turned out to be not from her father but important nonetheless. "Hm... it's a text about school. Maybe you've received one, darling?" She asked Tadashi in case he should check his phone as well before continuing to read the message to herself.

There was nothing about this event that she didn't adore. Having a love of fairytales made a castle a dream location for Gen to spend the night partying at. Additionally, as a Halloween event she could dress up in costume. Not to mention, a date appealed to her romantic side.

Shiori pretended that she did not notice the tall brunet male making his ascent. As he traveled up the stairs she grew slightly nervous. She did not know this guy, at all. Why was he coming closer? She was the only person up this high..

What are you doing? I'm not s nice person. You shouldn't come closer! she thought to herself, growing rather anxious. She would have found a reason to escape, but since she was on top of the bleachers there weren't many places for her to run. She was practically trapped unless she wished to make a scene, which she definitely did not. Before she could second guess her decision to stand strong, the boy (Johnny) had made his way to her.

β€œPleasure to meet you. My name is Johnny, but you can call me Jay.”

Shiori removed her earphones in time to catch his name, letting the earbuds fall into her lap, "Kitogawa, Shiori." She responded back with a serious and calm expression on her face. There was no possible way she'd be able to call him by first name, so she refrained from addressing him, "How do you know it's a pleasure to meet me?" She asked with an arrogant and amused smirk, her defense mechanism kicking into play. She was becoming too nervous and so the cocky persona kicked in.

β€œAre these seats taken?”

"They seem to be empty to me." Shiori responded, closing her eyes. A smile formed on her lips, showing how amused she was, although she was simply faking it. She honestly did not want to be so abrasive. Before she could beat herself up about her behavior, her phone began vibrating. She pulled it out of her jacket and blinked as she realized she had a text. She never got texts, except from her father and Kazuhiko. This one was from the school, so she was more than a little curious of it's contents. She tapped on the screen with her finger, opening the message on her expensive touch screen phone.

A dark blush immediately crossed her cheeks, a certain someone immediately coming to mind, but she knew that it wouldn't work out. For starters, she was too embarrassed to dance with anyone, like ever. If that wasn't enough, she felt even more nervous when he touched her. How would they ever dance? Then to put the icing on the cake, even if it did work out, he was her junior partner.. She could never ask him. If he declined it would ruin their professional relationship forever. Though as she thought about it, why would it? It wasn't like she had feelings for him, no way! She simply knew Rhys better than the other boys in the school, that was it. It was ridiculous to think that there could be more to it. She was definitely overthinking it. It's only weird if you like him, which I-I don't! So all I have to do is work up the courage... H-He knows that I don't like him that way... J-Just as friends.. That's all they were. Rhys was just a super attractive friend that she really wanted to ask to the dance. Suddenly she was left in a daze as she stared down at her phone. Perhaps I could ask Kazuhiko to practice dancing...? He was the only person she would let touch her, but even his rights were limited. Slow dancing would definitely push the limits to what she usually allowed... but if it would help desensitize her enough to dance with Rhys, it would be well wor- then she shook her head. She wasn't even sure that he would say yes, and he probably wouldn't.. Why was she allowing herself to get this far ahead of herself?

Once she snapped out of her daze, she noticed that her old classmate Tadashi was waving towards her, and she blinked in surprise, waving back with a dumbfounded expression on her face. They had not actually spoke to each other that much, except for short, general talk. He had changed a lot in physical appearance, and his current appearance was definitely easy on the eyes. Even so, she was still trying to figure out how she could ask Rhys without coming across as weird or assuming anything..

"Shi? Is that you? It's been so long! Give your favorite cousin a hug!"

That accent.. She knew it. It was quite familiar.. Then as the word 'cousin' was spoken, Shiori immediately froze solid in fear. She knew exactly who the owner of that voice was, and it definitely was not a good thing! Before she could push past Johnny and run away, Tsukiko practically tackled Shiori back down into her seat, the pinkette tightly wrapping her arms around Shiori. Shiori's eyes widened in shock, mentally freaking out. She even stopped breathing for a moment. Her cousin would do this every time she visited, which was not often. The last time she'd seen Tsukiko in person was when they were in preschool. A lot had changed since then, Shiori had become far more distant and reserved. She noticed that Tadashi was laughing, and she knew under normal circumstances, this situation should have been humorous.

"You're so cute now! I wonder when I got taller than you?"

"I've always been shorter than you, Baka!" Shiori snapped, just loud enough to get her point across. She did not wish to make the current scene any worse than it already was.

Shiori shoved Tsukiko off of her, but in a safe direction instead of down the bleachers. Shiori stood immediately afterwards, putting one hand on her hip, "Don't touch me so familiarly, Tsuki." She replied in a stern tone, bowing to Johnny without making eye contact, too ashamed to look him in the face. She had behaved horribly again due to her phobia, and she was running out of patience with herself, "Excuse me. Gomenasai." She didn't give much more of an explanation, heading toward the bathroom in a rush. She pushed the doors open, heading into one of the stalls. She leaned her head against the door of the stall, tugging on her hair gently with both of her hands, trying to stop herself from shaking. She could feel the tears threatening to fall, and despite her best efforts to vanquish them, they poured down her cheeks. She let them fall for a moment before wiping them away. She had to get back out there before roll call.. She unlocked the door and stepped out to one of the sinks, letting water pour from the faucet and she splashed her face, "Get it together.."

Johnny "Jay" Farelli

Kitogawa-san, Perfect. That’s another name to commit to memory, Johnny thought. He then suddenly remembered that Japan was all about last names. Shit.

β€œHow do you know it’s a pleasure to meet me?” The girl asked before Johnny could correct himself. Johnny caught β€œHow do you know” as well as the rest of the words he had used before… in other words, he understood the question perfectly. The girl held a cold exterior, but wore an easy, almost cocky smile. Though he was a dumbass at times, and came across as not terribly intelligent, Johnny had street smarts and face-reading. He could tell this girl needed a friend.

Johnny donned his confident and friendly smile as he leaned onto one leg. His forearms rose on both sides in a casual shrug. [/b]β€œMeeting new people is always a pleasure. Oh, and my last name is Farelli,”[/b] The foreigner replied… At least, he was pretty sure that’s what he said.

The girl appeared to display confusion as she produced her own phone. An emergency? Random text? Johnny didn’t want to pry. It’d be intimidating- especially for someone of his stature and build. He then saw that the girl’s face flushed. Her pale complexion made spotting any blush incredibly easy. A boyfriend? Johnny didn’t much care for being someone’s boyfriend right now. He just wanted to be a friend.

Was that boy she waved to earlier her boyfriend? Did he send a text to tease her about meeting the tall gangbanger-looking type that was Johnny? Granted, Johnny was easy on the eyes, but that fellow further down the bleachers seemed more like the kind of guy Japanese girls would swoon over. If it was a tease, it was pretty funny, and probably kind of cute. Wait, no. Can't assume. It makes me an ass. God, what a dumbass.

A second pink-haired girl appeared. It took Johnny a good second to realise that it was not, in fact, the calm, frail one further down the bleachers. This girl was more bubbly and active. She seemed almost ecstatic to meet the black-haired girl. If anything, it reminded Johnny of one of his distant aunts coming to visit. Said aunt recalled stories of the last time they had met- when Johnny was not even a year old.

Johnny wouldn’t have minded these stories if his aunt didn’t express shock towards his not remembering these meetings from being a year old. It also didn’t help that his aunt expressed borderline disgust at his attire and his neighbourhood friends. They were the best damn friends a guy could have ever asked for.

Kitogawa-san Black-hair seemed to treat this visit as Johnny treated treated his aunt… though there was a lot more venom being spat. Wait, hold the phone on the aunt… That pink-haired bubbly girl is really familiar. Johnny tried his best to recall where he had seen this girl’s face and hair before. Her voice was especially familiar… wait a minute, that’s-

The foreigner’s phone vibrated. Uh-oh, I must’ve transferred my phone to my gym pants without realizing, Johnny’s cheap smart phone was hardly worth stealing, but it had an enormous memory storage for the incredibly diverse music collection he has. He would have to leave it on the bleachers or risk breaking it from the intense physical activity coming up. Regardless, he checked his phone to see what’s up.

The message was in Japanese Kana. Johnny was not amused. β€œRight, can’t read it yet…” Johnny chuckled to himself in English. His warm, pearly-white smile widened in amusement towards his own misfortune. In Japanese, he was just about to ask, β€œPlease read for me? Cannot read kana yet.” when he noticed that the message did not end there. Apparently the message was repeated in English. Oh, sick!

>date… Oh… Oh noooo…

Johnny’s eyes held a sudden, almost alien intensity as he stared intently at the four-letter word that caused him the most concern out of the entire text. Though he didn’t blush, he did appear to be in a similar trance to Kitogawa-san earlier. At least, he unwittingly held that look until he took a breath to avoid going pale and actually started thinking about the text and it’s context.

Frankly, he didn’t know too many people as-is. Sure there was Ryou and Kat, and soon these two lovely ladies, but enough for a β€œdate” date…? In the perspective of every junior invited on the list, this event can’t really qualify as a date. It was more like some teacher asking students to pair up for a class assignment…

β€œExcuse me, Gomenasai.”

Johnny almost automatically replied, β€œHey, no worries dude.” in his very chill, very relaxed English. He learned what the word β€œGomenasai” meant, and he treated it the same way as any apology. The guy couldn’t get offended even if you tried. Frankly, he was more focused on the text that he didn’t realise that Kitogawa-san was rushing to leave.

No… this is not a date. I can deal.

Welp, might as well start asking. He glanced up to introduce himself to pink-hair when he realised that black-hair Kitogawa-san had left for some reason. Wait, what happened? Did I do something wrong? He thought back to the two girls from yesterday… although at least Kitogawa-san said something before leaving. That’s a damn good improvement.

His eyes caught pink-hair’s eerily familiar face, and he introduced himself the same way as the black-haired girl. This time, however, he remembered to add his last name. Also this time, he added, β€œPleasure to meet you, Name's Johnny Farelli, but you can call me "Jay". Do I know you from somewhere? You look familiar.”

At this point, he noticed that he botched the tie-up job for his bandana. He threw it off and shook his relatively short hair out before tying the bandana back on once more. Having his arms up to tie up his bandana inadvertently made his muscles more pronounced.

"Tadashi-kun here?
A wish upon shooting stars,
Fate chose to be kind."

Tadashi smiled more vibrantly after hearing his old friend's flattering haiku. It appeared that she still remembered him very clearly. He watched her facial expression as his eyes turned more purple, seeing her smile which lifted his own spirits. He smiled back in a natural and exuberant fashion sharing this little intimate moment with Gen. He almost didn't know what to say to the girl, pausing for a moment to reflect on everything in the past several years to what had become now. "Always as lovely as ever Gen-chan... Just like I remember. And it's only grown since I've been gone." His words flowed naturally spilling her the truth to how he felt. She was always out of his league and he excepted the fact that Gen would always remain as such. It was just a simple truth to the world that he lived in. Tadashi knew he had changed both mentally and physically but he still didn't see the charm or draw his presence had on other people. He noticed it, but had a hard time deciphering what it was.- Or maybe it was him quietly lying to himself. Tadashi was imperfect after all.

"You look well. I have so many questions.. how are you~? Where did you run off to~?" His smile perked up some more as she asked her questions. Tadashi would moved from his kneeling position to sitting right beside her on the school bench. "Well, I must thank you for the kind words. But you've always been incredibly kind to me. And I'm doing..... Well. Very well. A lot thanks to you Gen-chan." He would take a moment to pause and stare deeply into his female companion's eyes. Though now happy, they had a sunken weight to them as if they've carried a heavy burden for many years. He had grown and aged gracefully, but the wounds he wore were internal by nature and it showed in his eyes the most. He had been to some dark places in his past. Tadashi cupped his hands together, both forearms facing upwards and open to plain sight when he started to speak again. "And that is a question I would like to discuss with you, but not here. When we can find some time together to talk and catch up on things. Besides- I don't think either one of us wants more rumors to spread around if we're overheard." Tadashi chuckled softly and nodded his head towards the starring students talking to either other about who knows what. One could guess by who the teenagers would keep glancing at. Whether it was the commotion happening near Shiori and the duo of juniors (Tsukiko & Johny). Or what had happened earlier when he met Cassiopeia and again Aeon.

"But Gen-chan... I must say this before anything else." Tadashi would get a more serious and somber expression on his face while turning to look completely at Gen. "I'm sorry.... I'm sorry I left without saying goodbye. A lot happened in that second year and my family left almost immediately after school ended... It was not my intention to leave without reaching out to you- I hope you can forgive me." Tadashi looked longingly towards Gen able to put the very heart of his emotion behind every sincere word. Those voice coaching lessons had proven to be effective, being able to relate the entire essence of how he felt in the indentations and utterances of every syllable. A skill she may have been able to pick up on herself in her career acting, but Tadashi had learned this through a different means. Both were attached to the same base however. A slight hint of tears were in the corner of his eyes, making the low set red in them appear like a wavering sun set; he managed however to contain himself. The last thing he wanted was to cry on his first day back at school, he did have at least a little bit of pride. The use of 'chan' combined with her first name had detailed through their entire conversation that Gen was dear to him. He did addressed Cassiopeia in the same manner but with her last name being addressed- that was the key difference. Tadashi let out a breath after the eloquent confession he made, relaxing his posture as he sat. He had chosen his words carefully, knowledgable enough to not overload with Gen with too much in both the emotional and thought-process aspect of his explanations and feelings. <All will be told in time... No need to rush anything. Enjoy the moment.> Tadashi would close his eyes and smile agian, both for his sake and her's (Gen).

Ryou was soaking what he was reading as much as possible. This was something he was going to do later on and it must be done without fail. That's when he was in the middle of his reading a new message prompt appeared on screen. He was uncertain of what it meant and the number was clearly unknown to him, but whatever, he opened it and saw that it seemed to have came from the school. The message went something like...

To: Giou, Ryou

He was not really thrilled about it. He was not really the party kind of guy and clearly, he has doesn't have work and basketball would be finished early as it would be all about orienting the recruits and finishing up the try-outs. There was also the project he needed to do for Hikaru. This was certainly going to mess up his schedule. This was an inconvenience at best. He would probably skip out of it. He erased the message and decided to forget about it. The prospect of even having a date was not enticing to him.

There was only one person he would want to take as a date... only one.

It was then, he noticed that he has now company to his left as he looked and saw it to be Gen, a fellow senior. He would have said hi since that would be polite as he recalled her saying that to him countless of times. This time though, he cannot do that as the girl seemed to be engaged in a conversation with another student who she seemed to be familiar with. The guy (Tadashi) was a new face to him and that was simply it. That's why he kept to himself and simply continued reading the manuals and reference e-books, before he was interrupted by that message, but was not able to do a lot since classes has begun.

Ryou kept his phone at that point and looked at the teacher, Kido. The guy was odd in more ways than one though, he could never understand the things he does for the students and all. This just made him think that Japanese people are sure weird, but he would not say that outloud. One time he did, she was literally angry at him. He would want to see that again. He shook his head stopping those depressing thoughts and focused himself on the lesson. It seemed they were going to start with an easy activity, a trust fall. That was not really easy in his case. It's not because of the trust per say, more like who would be able to catch him. The only who could possibly could were the boys.

This was really going to be a hard one for him, and there was no way he would partner himself with those girls he could feel looking at him with such intense gaze, as if that would make him pick them as a partner. That would be a disaster in a making which he wants no part of. It is times like these, he would have preferred free time and sleep his way through. He has no issues with team work or anything like that. He's just not good of being in a pair... that's just what he noticed so far. Still, it was a class activity and so he began to look around of someone he can partner up with, and really there were little to choose from in his opinion.

There was a noticeable pout on her face because of Aeon's answer. She knew that he wasn't being mean. He was just direct without any much flowers on his words, but that is why she believes he will never tell her a lie ever. "You are so not cute at this very moment." She then decided to give Aeon some privacy as she looked around the gym. It was filling up nicely as she saw Tadashi speaking with Gen. She must be the one Tadashi was talking about. That was nice. She then saw Ryou seemingly engrossed with his phone. It was rather cute seeing him like that. She looked around more and noticed there seemed to be a commotion, but before she could really see... Clio spoke up, taking her attention.

"To: Argyris, Cassiopeia Elegy, you have been exclusively invited to the Airdalen Halloween Dance! Today at 7 P.M. HIMEJI CASTLE. You are required to attend with a date from the following guest list. Clio message delivered from Airdalen High School Administration. Clio end message!"

Cassiopeia instantly perked up at that message. There was going to a Halloween party. That would be very cool! She was getting excited at the mere thought of it. "Thank you very much Clio!" That said, Clio flapped its winglike appendages in an obvious show of joy. "Clio welcome! Clio!" She smiled at Clio and then instantly looked at Aeon. "Aeon! There would be a Halloween party later! I wanna go!" She had that glimmering look of excitement over her eyes and that flushed expression that she was really wanted to. That was when she heard him say her name. She knew that he wanted her to calm down, so she did as best as she could and then, she instantly brightened up when Aeon asked for her to come with him to the party. That was the approval.

"Thank you so much, Aeon!" She without much of a hesitation wrapped her arms around Aeon's neck as she embraced him out of gratitude and pure joy. There was nothing else behind it, but the eyes watching them could not be helped but put something over it. Others were also green with envy. She only released Aeon when she heard the ever booming voice of Kido-sensei. "Classes are starting! I can't wait to tell Hotaru later!" She added in a very chipper mood as she was humming inwardly. Her reaction was rather normal for someone like her who had never been to such gatherings before. That's why she was really looking forward to this one.

Then, she could not help but blink a couple of times because of their teacher's actions and soon joined in with the laughter. She was not laughing because of what he looked like, but because she could not help but find Kido-sensei endearing. He was going out of his way to entertain everyone though, she would admit Aeon was not one of those students. "It wouldn't hurt to smile or laugh." She said while glancing at his direction before focusing herself to the activity, but it seemed they were going to do a trust fall. That's when she heard Aeon addressing her again.

"Of course! I would do it with you! I trust you the most, Aeon." That was the simplest of truth. She trusts Aeon more than anyone else in this world, even if that was not noticeable at a first glance as she seemed to trust everybody. "So, shall we start then?" She asked while Clio jumped around them. "Clio do it! Clio! Clio trust too!" It seemed Clio wanted to join as well as she chuckled lightly at this. It was another good day for her, definitely.

Being brought closer together had made Gen realize just how much of Tadashi's appearance had changed. She started to ponder whether he changed after hitting puberty or if he had changed by his own methods. Either way, it was impressive. She managed to recognize the face because she was good with faces but she wouldn't have recognized him from behind, that much was certain.
"Always as lovely as ever Gen-chan... Just like I remember. And it's only grown since I've been gone." Gen smiled at the compliment but tried to remain modest, hiding it slightly with the back of her hand. "Thank you~"

She had plenty more questions to ask but started with the basics out of politeness. Gen didn't want to bombard him on his return and risk making him uncomfortable. However, she started to think her concerns around him were unnecessary as he answered her maturely, proving he had grown a lot since they had last met. He made the move to sit beside her and Gen welcomed it, comfortable enough to not feel the need to scoot over. "Well, I must thank you for the kind words. But you've always been incredibly kind to me. And I'm doing..... Well. Very well. A lot thanks to you Gen-chan." Gen's eyes widened slightly, showing her disbelief. She didn't think she had helped him enough and yet he had chosen to use the words a lot to describe their history. Gen continued to smile but her eyes moved downward for a second in doubt. That was when she noticed the scars on his forearms. She had never met someone who was involved in self harm so she was shocked and worried, the only sign being her faltering smile. I want to ask but I don't even know what to say... Gen had enough sense not to ask when the moment wasn't right. They were in the company of a full class.

She raised her eyes to meet his gaze as her earrings shifted and glistened with her movement. Tadashi was staring back at her deeply and something in that moment told her he was telling the truth, not just sugarcoating. I wonder what his story is.. what he's been through. "And that is a question I would like to discuss with you, but not here. When we can find some time together to talk and catch up on things. Besides- I don't think either one of us wants more rumors to spread around if we're overheard." Gen nodded, turning to acknowledge where he was gesturing. "I understand.. I hope we can talk about it soon, okay?" Her purple eyes returned to his, locking. Gen was truly concerned and it showed in her serious tone of voice that could even be considered motherly. She could not help herself as self harm was a serious subject and one she had not encountered before. Gen wanted to hear the story behind it and confirm that he had stopped doing it. She turned to the front, closing her eyes for a bit before releasing a suppressed sigh. Gen found it difficult to continue smiling after making that observation. That in itself was saying something about her worries, as Gen could be considered a pro in keeping up pleasantries.

"But Gen-chan... I must say this before anything else." Tadashi had Gen's attention when his soft chuckle ended and he spoke in a tone hinting that he had something meaningful to say. She leaned forward lightly with her hands gripping the edge of her seat beside her thighs before turning her head towards his direction. Gen smiled as their eyes met, nodding once to encourage him to continue. She wasn't sure what he was going to say next but she would listen attentively. Gen was still worried about what she had seen but she didn't want that to get in the way of their conversation. She was still wary of his comfort and had kept that in mind the entire time. Still, she couldn't keep the worries at bay. It had been quite a shock for her to see.

"I'm sorry.... I'm sorry I left without saying goodbye. A lot happened in that second year and my family left almost immediately after school ended... It was not my intention to leave without reaching out to you- I hope you can forgive me." Gen was still smiling but on a sadder note, her eyes closing slowly as she tilted her head. "Of course I forgive you~ it wasn't your fault to begin with darling~ It was sudden and we didn't get to say goodbye but what is goodbye if we meet again? It didn't turn out to be a true farewell after all~" She lifted her shoulders before dropping them like a cute shrug. Her eyes opened again to read his reaction. It appeared he was still staring at her and it made her feel put on the spot. Said wholeheartedly... I know you're trying darling~

Gen placed her cellphone in his hands without hesitation when Tadashi said he did not have his phone with him. She wasn't distrustful of him and there was very little in her phone of interest anyway. When she was placing the phone in his hands however, she gently placed her hands on top of his as well. She eyed him. Her gaze was soft yet firm as if she wanted to say something. Her lips parted to speak but she closed her mouth again before releasing his hands. "I'm glad you've returned." she said before turning away to give him space to read the message about the Halloween dance on his own. Gen really did not know what to say about the scars on his forearms but she wanted to say something when the time was right.

Mr. Kido made an appearance soon after to start off the class with the activity of trust falls. Gen had giggled, albeit lightly and ladylike at his silly antics. Her mind was drifting elsewhere but she had managed to hear what she needed to know about today's physical education lesson. It sounded basic enough even for someone as delicate as her to attempt. Gen had also not forgotten Ryou sitting to her right. This particular activity did not sound like one that would appeal to him as she observed him seated isolated most of the time. "Ryou, would you care to join us darling~?" she offered with her usual polite smile. Gen knew of him but was not well acquainted. He reminds me so much of Romeo for some reason... While she awaited his answer, she could hear a lot of racket (Saburo and Sora) brewing in the background. Although she looked over her shoulder to get a peek of what it was, it was hard to see over the crowd. Hm?

Tadashi was relieved that Gen seemed to understand what he was trying to project to her. He made a mental note that he promised Cassiopeia as well to talk later, over study or lunch so he would be sure to not break that promise either. He hated breaking promises he made, or at least going against the words he spoke to a person saying that he would do something. It was hard for him to say 'no' sometimes, but he was getting better at using the word appropriately. "I understand.. I hope we can talk about it soon, okay?" Tadashi visibly cheered up with his eyes shifting more red again than purple. He nodded letting his locks of hair sway freely about his head.

Before her reaction however, the young man was noticing small cues of her body language. The way she averted her eyes during and after he spoke, the small shrug she made and leaned in closer before he made his confession. She was going through a myriad of different and conflicting emotions. <What is she thinking I wonder... Grief? It's natural to be bouncing back between joy and sadness- given our history.> When she locked her eyes on his, he saw it. Tadashi understood the chief emotion and thoughts that Gen was going through. It was present in her movements, the way she sat and spoke. His friend was always so wonderful and lovely to be around but she was human just like everyone else. "Of course I forgive you~ it wasn't your fault to begin with darling~ It was sudden and we didn't get to say goodbye but what is goodbye if we meet again? It didn't turn out to be a true farewell after all~" <Guilt.... I see.> Tadashi would back off just a slightly, leaning up right continuing to look at her (Gen). He admired her hair for a moment, an extremely unique color that added an air of mystery yet sophistication to her. The two students were very in touch with themselves and one another. Tadashi could read her body language, and Gen heard every inflection of his words and saw his eyes change as his mood did.

When she handed him her cellphone, Tadashi nodded in thanks and read it over. Of all the reactions to come across his face a soft blush graced his cheeks, being rather surprised by the demands of the school. "Well, Airdalen sure is ambitious.... But I see their intent for this. Bringing students together to culminate new friends and memories. Admirable." Tadashi would hand Gen her phone back. "Arigato, Gen-chan." He began to ponder for a moment about what he should do for the dance. He attended one his freshmen year at Airdalen, but quickly left after being teased. He hadn't been to one since. He was definitely going to this one, Halloween was his favorite holiday after all! He looked to his side and smiled towards Gen deciding to tease her a bit. "So~ how many lovely suitors will you have to choose from my dear Gen? He was light and friendly, changing the tone and topic of the conversation.

Just then Mr. Kido had entered the school gymnasium and begun to address the students. He smiled finding the enthusiasm of the teacher to be refreshing. Up until the point where he blew off his shirt and was wearing a bra. He didn't know quite what to say about that, but he laughed without restraint finding it humorous in all honesty. The activity didn't sound that bad, although in the back of his mind he was a bit paranoid. He knew that the 'old him' would be falling flat on his back every single time until he decided to isolate himself and just suffer from people talking about him from a distance instead of in his face after he fell. He was worried of any old bullies he had that would try to do the same today- but those fears were unwarranted. <Fear is something the mind creates to justify physical inaction...> Tadashi had closed his eyes in order to find his center again, opening them up they were an even purple/red once more finally over his small internal panic. <I'll just be careful in who I choose. I'm not the strongest, but I won't exclude myself.> Tadashi had made up his mind looking up to where Gen was looking to see who she was addressing. "Ryou, would you care to join us darling~?" He smiled seeing his old friend's inviting nature coming to fruition again including the individual that had isolated himself (Ryou). He would remain silent and observe the student, already knowing that he was quite large. He was definitely foreign, his country generally wasn't known for having a population of people 'that' large. Though they were out there.

When commotion began to unfold, he recognized voices immediately recognizing the boy that was teasing somebody earlier. (Saburo) He didn't know what was going on, but he had a very keen inclination to what 'might' be happening. He glanced to Gen who seemed to be just gazing over her shoulder in an attempt to see what was going on. In a flash he remembered the one time he saw Gen's temper flare in a negative way. He would watch her, it was bad news for anyone who legitimately made her mad. Not upset, not pissed off. Unfiltered rage.

Those silver eyes landed on Gen's form when he heard his name being called. There was familiarity flashing across his eyes. They were on the same year and classmates, so it was not hard to show that. The only thing he doesn't understand is her calling him darling. It was one of her speech habits, but he found it odd which was on the same category on how Cassiopeia treats him with unguarded emotions. It wasn't really his problem, so he won't say anything about it. This was not the case for the hovering and snipping girls at a respectable distance who pouted and glared at Gen on the sides.

Ryou was not sure how to reply to that invitation. It wasn't like he was rejecting her out of selfish preferences or anything. It was more like, it was an activity meant for pairs, isn't it? From where he was, he could see that she already has a partner who was the unfamiliar guy (Tadashi) beside her. They were already a pair and he didn't want to be interrupting anything between the two of them or at the very least be a third wheel. "Ah, it's fine. Thanks for the offer." He noted as he then looked towards the direction where most of the students are looking at.

His eyes narrowed a bit to get a better look and he could see familiar faces over there, yet he was uncertain what it could possibly be. If it was something serious, the teacher would be by now investigating or even dispersing it. There was no teacher; it only meant it was not that serious. He looked away not wanting to be bothered by other people's matters, but that wasn't the case as he heard his name being called out. It was not Gen or the unknown guy.

This voice belonged to someone else and it was coming from above him, just like that he got involved, into another matter.

Kazuki managed to find his way back at the main gates. He was even half-through when all of his efforts were dashed by the appearance of his ever-dictatorial uncle who by chance was also the Math Teacher of Airdalen. He will never know why this person, who he had recently known to be a relative was overly concerned about his education, when he himself couldn't even give a rat's a** about it? That was one of the million questions the world should bother to answer, but for now, he will be running away like always while in his background were a string of curses and sermons all relating how d*mb he is and how he should be in class right now.

Geez! It was appearing that his entire day was going to be about running. It does give him a good sweat, but come on, he rather be sweating on his bed with a sexy lady than, running around here in the school grounds being constantly harassed. He managed to find a breakthrough by climbing on to a tree. He jumped and grabbed on a lower branch and the swung himself up on it, but apparently the goons of his uncle were now proactive in physical activities. "Tch! Just give me a break!"

He then jumped to the nearby emergency exit deck and it was not that difficulty given his parkour abilities, but the chasers didn't stop and was now steadily climbing the steel stairs. "When will this end!?" He grumbled as he used the steel balustrade as mechanism to propel him. There was no way he would allow himself to be caught. That's why he was going to take his chance through the window this building which was apparently the gym. He swung himself a couple of times before hurling himself to the window as he felt his body not breaking any glass. Next thing he knew, he was in the middle of a hater and a rival.

"Of course." Aeon answered as he saw no reason to delay the activity. However, it seemed his phone received another message which prevented him from starting the trust fall exercise. He had every intention of ignoring it, yet the possibility of it being urgent did not leave his mind. "Excuse me." After saying that to Cassiopeia, he took out his phone and then saw upon the screen it was from a certain personnel of Airdalen. There was a brief moment of silence before it was disrupted by his sigh. "Cassiopeia." He started as he kept his phone again and then looked at her with those grey-blue eyes of his. "I will pardon myself from your presence for a little while. There is a trash I must clean up."

With that said, he did not waste time approaching Kido-sensei. The conversation seemed to be serious and from the eyes of the other students, it was a curious thing. No one could make up what was being spoken, but at the end of it, they were certain that the school idol had been given permission. Aeon politely showed his gratitude with a bow of the head before walking towards the upper portion of the bleachers. His focus did not allow himself to bother with any other troublesome matters along the way. Though, the situation he was about to attend to also falls into such a category. If only he was not bound by a contract, he would not be here. Yet, a deal is a deal.

As it would appear, a certain student was up an about. Aeon had been informed to handle the situation before it gets a bit out of hand. Silly fights and silly altercations were not something he was needed to intervene with and strictly speaking. It was something he has no care for. Students who involved in such fights are simply reckless and foolish. Yet, this trash was probably the master of such idiocy. It would have been best if it was such scenes, yet it was not. Just like so, he proceeded to his destination, Really... he was not animal trainer, but alas, he must be, at the moment.

Image
Aeon soon reached a flight of stairs which led to the upper viewing deck of the gym. He climbed up, then walked towards one of the windows where he stopped. The eyes that followed him were filled with inquiry as the school idol stood there in complete pristine form. Fortunately for them, the answer was soon revealed as he opened the window and as if on cue, a figure came flying in completing a hasty entrance which announced itself with a...

"SHIT!" Kazuki cursed aloud as he noticed that he would overshoot his landing. He didn't calculate for the fact where the window was opened. Who the f*ck opened it!? Because of that, he would go over the railing and plummet to the ground. He could see his life flashing before him, and really... He has NO intention of dying anytime, soon. He prepared himself to lessen the damage if he reaches the ground, but he had a better idea. He enacted a twist in mid-air to shift his body and to grab onto the railing, but something else was waiting for him there.

His hand reached out as Aeon grabbed Miyamoto's collar which effectively dangled the fellow senior. His gray-blue eyes met with those golden eyes. This person was once again skipping classes and had every intention of destroying school property on the way which would interrupt the class. An animal which he has no intention of interacting if not for the business arrangement. "Giou-san" He spoke in a voice that reverberated throughout the gym. There was no need for him to shout, instead his deep tone echoed enough with just him adding a fine degree of emphasis. As to why that name, the said senior was exactly below them at the moment.

Ryou responded by looking above him. He was welcomed with the scene where the known delinquent, Kazuki who was being dangled like a bait for the fishes due to Aeon grabbing hold of the guy by the collar. It was impressive. He knew that Aeon was an athletic person, but was not aware of his strength. "Catch the trash" A reference to none other than the infamous hellion of Airdalen, Kazuki by Aeon, yours truly which was of course countered by... "The hell you're calling trash, you transvestite!?" Even with the perilous position, Kazuki was in he does not fail to talk back in the most vexing manner as his golden eyes glared with intensity towards the dog of this stupid academy.

There was no need for Aeon to respond any further as it was simply a waste of breath as he released Miyamoto from his clutches, so to say, as his fellow senior plunged towards the ground which was rather high and would have resulted in a lot of broken bones, and a possible fatality.

"You dipsh*t! I'll kill you!" Kazuki shouted which without a doubt can be heard through the gym. He tried to grab hold of Aeon and pull that b*stard with him, but it was useless as he prepared for the resounding pain of falling down as he closed his eyes and brace for impact. It never came though.

"You okay?" Ryou asked as he looked at the senior now in his arms. Aeon's words did not make sense first, but when Kazuki was released, he knew for a fact that the school idol was certainly someone who was not meant to be trifled with. By instinct, he caught the falling senior and then looked towards Aeon. That guy must have placed complete trust on his ability to catch Kazuki, but then again he was directly below them. Did that guy really thought this through or by chance? He could never tell about the the elegant, proper, yet stoic school idol. Well, Aeon does appear like a angelic being from this angle.

Meeting Giou's gaze, Aeon simply gave a small nod and descended from the upper balcony deck. He had done one part of what he was asked. The second part of it was only effective with a certain connotation. At this very moment, he does feel some sort of a trainer for some spoiled chimpanzee. This was troublesome and more so when he does not like dealing with Miyamoto.

Kazuki opened his eyes as he heard a voice, it was definitely not the voice of something supernatural and was it a voice of woman. D*mn it! He was instead welcomed with the profile of Ryou. Well, he was handsome, but he doesn't lean that way and also, "Eh?" It was not really a pleasant thing at all, especially when he finally learnt that he was in his arms like a princess or a bride. There better be no pictures being taken at the moment, because he will screw them over so hard! "Hey! Put me down now! You overgrown toenail!" He flailed around, doing his best to get down.

Ryou has the advantage at this point being much bigger than Kazuki and really, all that the flailing was doing was hitting someone unnecessarily. It also appeared that Kazuki was throwing some kind of tantrum even with the name calling. He ignored it. "Stop it. You're going to get others hurt. I'll put you down when you calm down." He was still beside Gen and the unfamiliar guy (Tadashi).

There were others? Did he hear that right? Hell no! "Sh*t turd put me down now!" Kazuki continued flailing around that he hit Ryou on his face which of course, he couldn't care less.

For Ryou, it was enough as a notable vein could be seen pulsing on his forehead. "That's enough, you brat." He then unceremoniously dropped Kazuki to the floor with those silver eyes of his looking down at the troublemaker senior.

Well, Kazuki did not take kindly at that as he landed on back. "What the hell is your problem!?" He went back on his feet and meet those silver eyes with his golden ones all fired-up. "If you want a fight, I'll give it to you right here, right now."

"Fight to your heart's content, just never here in this academe." Aeon's voice instantly cut through without much effort as he stopped at the row where Giou and also as he noticed Fukui and Kiomine. "Fukui-san. Kiomine-san. Please excuse the rabble."

Kazuki gritted his teeth as Aeon just have this way to get into his skin. "I'll punch you first! You tried to kill me!" There was no hesitation as he did throw a punch at Aeon, closing the few distance between them.

Ryou was faster though as he grabbed the fist that would deliver the punch. "I don't care if you want to knock him out, but this is not the place." He was considering Gen and the other guy (Tadashi) even to the extent of the other people inside the gym. They could do this outside later, but not now.

"Don't you touch me!" Kazuki forcefully took back his fist from Ryou and turned around to punch him instead. Aeon saw this and simply kicked the delinquent senior's knee from behind which should make a balance as an issue, buckling. In response, Kazuki did buckle and was falling again. Ryou caught him, preventing from another meeting to the floor. "I will leave you to it, Giou-san. It seemed you have your partner for the trust fall activity."

The words haven't sunk in, but when it did Ryou and Kazuki spoke at the same time. "What!?" They're synchronized expression of disbelief and shock was quite a feast to the eyes. Aeon however, was calm as ever as if he did not drop Kazuki from such a height or was being pulled into a physical fight. "Giou-san caught you already twice. It is time to return the favor."

Ryou shook his head and pushed Kazuki away from him. "I'll be making my own decisions here." Kazuki chimed in as well and glared at Ryou before transferring that to Aeon. "I second that! Hell no, I would partner with this scaredy cat!"

"Do as you wish, however, I only hear excuses, afraid that you two would fail with each other. In any case, do not disrupt the class any further." After saying that, Aeon turned his moment's attention to Fukui and Kiomine. "Fukui-san. Kiomine-san. Excuse me." He then turned his back at them all as he returned to where Cassiopeia was waiting as he also gestured towards Kido-sensei, that everything has been dealt with.

Golden eyes shimmered in irritation as he was going to follow Aeon and speak his mind. "Come back here! You A---" Ryou sighed and grabbed Kazuki by the collar which cut the other senior from speaking any further. "Just be a man and deal with it. We're partners. I won't give that guy the satisfaction to say anything else." Kazuki forcefully removed himself from Ryou's hold and the clicked his tongue as he crossed his arms over his chest. "Fine! This is just a one-deal thing. I'll show that arrogant piece of sh*t." He nodded his head in a confident assurance as he glared daggers at Aeon's retreating back and then looked back at Ryou.

"So, how do we do this?" That was when he noticed finally Gen and another guy's presence. "Were you two had always been there?" He blinked a couple of times and shook his head as his rather disgraceful appearance which was falling into Ryou's arms not once but twice have witnesses. Actually, there were far more than just two. "I swear I'll punch him so hard that it will knock his teeth out."

Ryou sighed at this and somehow, he just got himself into a troublesome situation. It would have been best if he had said yes to Gen's offer earlier.

"The timing is wonderful~ If I recall correctly, you love Halloween? What better way to reunite with your classmates than at a Halloween party." Gen's voice was lively with enthusiasm as she spoke with Tadashi about tonight. She could tell in his smile and light blush that he was excited about it too. As she was receiving her phone back, her mind briefly drifted on who she would be going with to the dance. Gen wasn't the type of girl to take the initiative but being insecure, she was also very uncertain if anyone would ask her. It was baffling how Gen could be insecure despite receiving many confessions.

"So~ how many lovely suitors will you have to choose from my dear Gen?"

Tadashi's voice broke her out of her thoughts as her posture tensed up a little. Gen was aware that he was teasing her but the old Tadashi she was pretty sure would have never been confident enough for it. It was a bit of a surprise compared to the question itself. She had also just realized he had been calling her 'dear'. It was a wonder if he was doing that aware of her personality. Gen laughed lightly with her eyes closed, fiddling with the hair tie's beads at the end of her braid so they knocked together. "You flatter me but I would graciously accept to be the partner of any man who shows genuine interest in me to the dance." she said earnestly. As a hopeless romantic, Gen was not too worried about choosing a partner. If anything, she was more worried if someone would choose her with her insecurity. So long as the one to ask her was as she already stated, genuinely interested in her be it as a person or as a potential lover in future? She would be fine with any arrangement.

The more time passed thinking about that subject, she realized she wasn't close to anyone in her year despite knowing of them. Tadashi was an exception as she had met him back in the early days while her junior self was more carefree but now... Her eyes wandered among the rows of students from senior to senior. Gen could recognize their faces and tell you their names without doubt but there was a distance between them. She couldn't call any of them friends as they were more like class acquaintances. Gen had spent her Airdalen years with them but there was little more to go on besides that. It was a sad thought but Gen decided then and there that she should try to get more involved with her peers. It was their final year after all. At the very least, I should make the most out of my time here. Some I will love, some I will hate but everyone should be given some effort. I might make a new friend. She patiently waited for Ryou's answer to her trust fall offer while the commotion was ongoing in the bleachers below them. Gen couldn't get a good view of what was happening so she had cast her interest aside.

"Ah, it's fine. Thanks for the offer."

She simply nodded at his response before returning her attention to Tadashi. Gen had offered and that was all that mattered to her. It was Ryou's decision to proceed with the activity as he wished. It was possible he already had others in mind of who to team with. Either way, Gen did not take his refusal personally. "Well, we better get started. I suppose you can catch me first? I am honestly unsure if I can catch you after though darling~" she expressed her doubt with a sheepish closed eyes smile. Gen was nowhere near athletic with her small and delicate form.

"Giou-san. Catch the trash."

Gen opened her eyes hearing Aeon above them. Although he had asked for Ryou not her, she was seated near enough to him that dropping trash above them was a concern. "What?" she had a slightly startled tone as the situation started to sound odd to her. It did not make sense why Aeon would be dropping trash let alone holding it to begin with. It didn't sound like something the stoic man would do. It was far too random. When her purple eyes pinpointed the 'trash' he was referring to, she froze and felt her heart stop. At the sight of Aeon dangling Kazuki by the collar at such a height, Gen was very concerned but tried to be optimistic about it. He wouldn't... She of course, could not be sure. She did not know Aeon well enough to be sure but she hoped she was right. Dropping someone at that height was no laughing matter. It was serious and most definitely dangerous.

"The hell you're calling trash, you transvestite!?"

When Kazuki spoke, that was when he was released to fall by Aeon. Gen felt herself lurch forward in that direction out of instinct even though she would not be strong enough to do anything about it. The drop happened all too fast and her reflexes were slow. Gen had only managed to get up from her seat and take a step in their direction. Ryou had caught Kazuki's fall much to her relief. She stayed standing close behind him still trying to process what had just happened. It was the most cold and dangerous display she had ever witnessed with Aeon not even batting an eye as he did it. Gen was shocked but her expression was vacant rather than outwardly showing how much confusion she was going through. Her Inryoku in-waiting mannerisms of hiding unpleasant emotions was a habit hard to bite back surfacing even in some of the most extreme circumstances it seemed.

"Fight to your heart's content, just never here in this academe." Gen had missed out on the majority of conversation running between Ryou and Kazuki until Aeon had joined them. While Gen was worried for Kazuki's well-being, her strongest emotion of all was yet to emerge.
"Fukui-san. Kiomine-san. Please excuse the rabble."
Gen said nothing when Aeon spoke to them. This in itself was a sign that something was clearly wrong with her. It was unlike Gen to ignore anyone addressing her. Being the president of Inryoku, she had to accommodate many different types of people from the weirdest of the weird and yet she was ignoring one of the most popular boys in the school. Some of the girls observing even whispered to criticize her for ignoring him when they would love the opportunity to speak but she couldn't care less. Her mind was occupied on other things.

Gen continued to miss out on segments of conversation. So many emotions were running through her out of shock in the moment but she knew which side to take. It was a no brainer especially when someone she held dear to her heart was the victim. What he did is inexcusable. I can't understand nor accept how others can react so nonchalantly about what he did. Even with Kazuki as a delinquent, he is a person and should be treated as such. Aeon is lower than him for resorting to that. It's enough to be labelled under psychopath for risking another's life without a hint of hesitation or guilt. That was cold, cruel and should not be tolerated. She started to clench her hands into fists when the shock had passed.

"Fukui-san. Kiomine-san. Excuse me."
Gen continued to ignore him in word but felt her body move to follow after him slowly as if she had no will of her own. Her emotions were festering within her mind and the rest of the world appeared to be a blur. Something in her mind had snapped. She had even missed out on the girl (Tsukiko) asking her crush out. Her eyes were glued to the back of the target of her hatred alone. She clenched her tiny fists even tighter.

I've had it with you Aeon,
I don't care if the whole school adores you,
You're dead to me.
