Introduction

Members of three different mafia's are all headed to New York City, none of them know, however that another mafia is on board the Lucky Smith Scarlet. They are sworn enemies as they have a small war going on between them. Aboard this train is also a mysterious person dressed in white. No one thinks anything of it at first until they discover he's planning a mass murder and destroying of the train. Which interferes with each Mafia's plan, so now they must form together, much to their dismay, to take down this psycho killer.

Valdislav sighed, wanting this train to get in motion so he didn't have to sit here for too much longer. He was already on edge, finding out that the other mafia members were there as well. He also, might he add, didn't want the mafia members to find out he was the next 'heir' as you might call it to the Russian Mafia. Sure, Nickolai was the man in charge at the moment but he was not a blood member. Merely a very, very powerful mafia boss. And Nickolai would be ahead of Vlad until his father died, which didn't seem like anytime soon.

He looked back over at his sister, who looked extremely bored as she lit her cig. He hoped she didn't get too bored, cause that usually lead to somebody getting stabbed somewhere. And that was hard to clean up when there were 50 eye witnesses.

Jack noticed the sun going down, the fields that past in a blur were covered with the sun's orange light and decided that the game was going to begin soon. He got up from his seat, giving one last look around the dinning car before leaving. He walked along, giving hidden sadistic looks to all of those who had passed him. When he got to the last car, the conductor's car, he looked out the window again, smiling at the bloody sun.

"My, my, it looks as though sun is craving blood as much as I am," he muttered to himself. He opened the car door to find the conductor and his co-conductor.

"Can we help you?" The co-conductor asked. This time Jack didn't hide back his psychotic sadistic smile. The co-conductor looked at him, horror beginning in his eyes.

"I do believe you can," Jack said. He closed the door behind him, grabbing his knife from his back pocket. The co-conductor yelled in horror and grabbed a revolver that was near him, but he was too late. There screams were muffled by the train's whistle blowing once again and no one heard them as they died slowly and painfully in the hands of Jack, as the train roared on, the bloody sun setting with horrific joy.

---

Sacco pushed Luca off back to their original sitting position. She noticed the sun was red now, which was the perfect time to tell the story of the Train Sucker.

She turned to Luca, "Come on," she said motioning for him to follow. They went and sat with Joey, she looked at Lucky wanting him to hear the story too, but found he was too busy.

"So have you bimbos heard of the story about the Train Sucker?" She asked, "Well, its said among the train workers that every night that a train is traveling and the sun is blood red, that a spirit of this psycho killer comes back. It's said that it'll start at the back of the train and work it's way forward till everyone on the train is dead. And not just dead, but with their guts and blood everywhere. You won't hear the screams of its victims though, that's the thing, its victims die slowly and painfully and without sound. People believe that this is because the ghost sucks out your soul and life slowly, and when your life is completely sucked out your body can't handle it so it explodes. And when it's all over the Train Sucker will sit in a puddle of everyone's blood drinking it up." She internally smiled at their faces, but as usual showed no emotion on her face. It's been said among the Marciano family that you don't want to play poker with her because of how well her poker face is.

She clapped her hands loudly, pulling the two out of the dark hole she dug them in sharply, "Well I have to go to the storage car and check on our mummy," she said, adding in a low whisper and covering her mouth, "She's a tricky one our mummy is". She then left the car and headed down to the storage car which was about three or so cars from the end. She smiled to herself when she arrived at the storage door remembering Luca and Joey's faces. She opened the door and went inside the dark car.

"The Train Sucker," she laughed to herself, "What a load of baloney!"

Glimmer, bored so much, walked towards her brother. She sat down beside him and continued to play with her drink. " Brother, I am so bored. How about we make this trip faster? " Glimmer told her brother. She was waiting for the guy from the bathroom, she forgot his name already.

" Brother? Are you alright? " she asked him as she peered through his face. She was really bored, and she wished that the train ride would be faster. That was why she wanted to blockmail the driver already. She was excited to arrive in their mafia's destination.

After all, she was about to meet someone there.

With a Russian, slip me a sleep pill.

After Lucky and hi new-found arm candy are out of sight, Joey waves to a stewardess. "Excuse me, ma'am. I'm hoping to get some sleep before hitting New York, but I can't do so naturally on a train. Would happen to have any tablets or something?"

The girl gives him a brief smile. "Of course, sir. One moment, please." She wanders off, and returns less than a minute later with two tablets. Hmm.... well, I guess you can never be too sure. He thanks her, and she returns to her duties, just as Sacco and Luca rejoin the table. He is only part interested in Sacco's story - there are more important things afoot - but he takes the time in Lucky's absence to dismiss it.

"Stories whispered around campfires, and little fairytales for kids, Sacco." he smiles. "I think you've heard too many. Besides, if we gave it our souls, I wouldn't be surprised if it spat them back out."

He gets up to go to the bathroom. As he passes Lucky, he slips the tablets into his right hand. "Give my regards." He continues towards the restroom, but stops shy to look out of the window at the rather dull urban outkirts.

Vladislav was out of it. He wanted the train to move, but all he got moving was this stupid bottle of American vodka. What a waste of his time, but he drank it slowly anyway. Then he heard his sister's voice. "I'm just peachy. I guess I'm just feeling a little dull and out of it, since we haven't even begun moving yet." He sighed, and then wondered where the rest of his Mafia went. He knew that they should have been there at least 15 minutes ago, and the longer they took the longer Vlad had to deal with these bimbos. He shook his head

"I could tell you were bored from over there. But how would we make this trip faster? I mean, killing people doesn't make the trip go faster, it makes it END faster."

Glimmer looked at his brother, and then smirked. " Do you know how to make a train go? " Glimmer asked him. She did have a little knowledge about it. It wasn't really that hard. She might have tried it if her brother wasn't there with her. "I could tell you were bored from over there. But how would we make this trip faster? I mean, killing people doesn't make the trip go faster, it makes it END faster." her brother said.

" I won't kill the driver, just tell him to drive this thing faster " Glimmer said as she tapped the side of the train. She looked around the train, everyone was doing something else, and she wasn't doing anything. She was extremely bored. " Come on. I just want to take a trip there. Please? " Glimmer pleaded her brother with her eyes and pouting lips.

Michael's hands were shaking hard; he could hardly control it anymore. His doctor told him there might be something wrong with his brain, some kind of tumor or cancer, and required very expensive tests to find out. Michael dismissed it in exchange for the excuse that it was leftover fear ebbing from him, built up after a long life of being afraid.

Inside the fancy bathroom, Michael washed his hands and waited for his hands to finish their fits. He had learned long ago that when they tried to hold each other, it only created an even worse amalgamation that made him look like he was shaking dice in his palms. The only thing that seemed to soothe his nerves was running cool water over his skin. He thought that it was the sensation of being cooled down that brought his nerves to peace, and once he felt comfortable with the control the water had given him, he returned to the fancy dining car where his cousin Zena was waiting at their table with a large bottle of Scotch.

"Oy, pipe doun abou'che gams. We's in public, have some class'ar, Zena. Order a drink, be well."

The train was well on it's way to New York. The rails thumped with each rotation of the large wheels, shivering the cars each time the connectors made its downward motion. Michael carefully sat himself down amid the shaking of the well-riveted steel and wood box, adjusting his tie and collar as his butt met the furnished leather padding of his chair. He cleared his throat and allowed time to pass by slowly as he attempted to swallow sips of Scotch, his eyes locked on the window and the scenery passing by their comfortable theater of elegance. America's countryside reminded him of his own nation's natural beauties, the colors seemed very similar and the pastures were fuller than he'd seen in a long time. Even the barren, sand-ish dunes seemed alive to him, perhaps relaying something from the sun that was unseeable by man, but could be felt by the right concepts welling on a creative mind.

"Ye know where the others arr? Oi ain't seen 'em since we done got on. They're hidin' better than an IRA sniper, I tell ya," He leaned in closer to Zena to conceal his next words between just them. "Ye tink someone done found them out?"

Jack wiped his blood drenched hands on his pants, smiling like an idiot. He looked around, blood covered the ceiling and walls, it looked as though his two victims exploded.

"And now let the Cat's meow begin," he said. He walked out onto the small deck at the back and breathed in the air as it wiped past, looking back behind him at his art work, Jack laughed. 'Guess I can't walk in the train lookin' like this,' he thought to himself. He climbed up on the train's roof and just stared off into the distance, letting the blood have a chance to dry a bit before going and looking for his next victim. He smiled thinking of the copacetic time he would have at bumping off that angry looking boy.

"To see that Hood's arrogant face covered in his blood is going to be hotsy-totsy," he laughing to himself once again, this time falling on his back, "Sometimes I just slay myself," he said as he wiped a tear from his eye. He pulled his feet up and began to walk up the cars, looking for the place the angry boy would possibly be, his hands in his pockets and looking as casual as ever.

"Fine, but behave." He always felt like the parent with her around, Vlad shook his head. The train had been moving for a while now, but he couldn't tell. He was, more or less, staring blankly out the window. He couldn't shake the feeling that something was amiss. To him, saps from other mafias just didn't show up on the same train going in the same direction. That was just stupid. But it had happened, whether he liked it or not. What made the situation worse was their own numbers: 2. That was it. He was missing 3 of his own mafia members and that really annoyed him. Why in hell did Nickolai and the rest of them blokes skip on the train? Did they forget? Because if they did, they are not going to be happy when they find out we had already left for Mother Russia. By the time they arrive, we shall be done.

The Train Sucker, huh...

Even though Sacco herself said that it was only a load of baloney, Luca couldn't help but feel a bit disturbed at the urban legend. He knows that people are capable of extreme violence, the things he has seen over the years are proof of such. But he still can't wrap his head around the idea that a man could actually kill a person in the most grotesque way possible and actually play in their blood. It certainly did make the hairs at the back of his neck prickle, but he merely laughed it off like what the others did.

Luca's eyes flicked towards the window, and he just noticed that it was already dark. Since the others are already gone, it wouldn't hurt to take a look around the train, would it? He also thinks he could go get some food while he's at it, they sometimes forget to eat during these things. After checking his watch, he leaves their table and heads for the next carriage of the train.

"Fine, but behave." her brother replied. Glimmer smirked as several thoughts were running inside her head. But first, she would change her clothes and wear something more comfortable. She went back inside her cart and changed back into her black dress and boots. She then passed by her brother, who was staring out the window, as she headed to the driver's cart.

When she opened the door, her eyes widened. The driver was there lying on the floor, dead. Of course she wasn't really shocked about it, but the fact that he didn't die using her hands amazed her. " Who the heck killed him? I was about to do that " Glimmer muttered to herself.

Feeling slightly irritated, she went back to her brother. " The driver is dead " she told him.

In the storage cart Sacco moved boxes around to make sure their hostage was still there, she was, so she re-stacked the boxes and sat down, her head in her hands. She heaved a great sigh in boredom, she knew that what the Big Cheese wanted her to stay and watch the Zoccolitto bearcat, and she knew why too, but it still bored her to tears having to do little things like this.

"Babysitting bearcat, this is what my life has been reduced to," Sacco said to herself.

"Don't beef, that's not good for your health," a voice said. Sacco looked up to see a man standing in the shadows, his eyes were wild and a wicked smiled glowed on his face.

"Beat it," she said.

"No can do bimbo," the man answered. He stepped closer and she then saw that a dark liquid was dripping off of him.

"How'd you bump off?" she asked.

"Does it show?"

"More than you think," she said grabbing the shiv from her pocket and standing up. The man, so quickly she couldn't stop it, grabbed her shoulder and shoved her against the wall, making her shiv drop from her hand. His hand slid to her throat ready to strangle her, but hesitate.

"A doll?" he said in surprise. She took this opportunity to shove him back into some boxes.

"Part of the Marciano family too," she said. The man smiled and then ran at her with a punch, he missed her face, but clipped her shoulder. The two went at it for awhile, the man punching and splattering blood on her quite a bit, her getting him half as much, but her punches just as strong. Soon the two were heaving, an angry death glare on Sacco's face and a still cocky and joy-filled one on the man's.

"I love a good fighter, you are Palooka, Sheba," he said with a chuckle. Sacco growled in rage, she wanted this man to hurt, but she could see that that wasn't going to happen with him acting like this was a joke.

"YOU ARE GOING TO FEEL SO MUCH PAIN!" Sacco practically yelled.

"We'll see," the man answered, then threw her into a big pile of boxes, making her be the center of an avalanche of wooden boxes filled with heavy objects. All these fell on top of her, knocking her out. The man walked over to where she was crushed and smiled wildly, his eyes huge and glowing in the dark.

"I'm sure we will meet again, Sheba," he said, he kissed one of the boxes, leaving a blooded kiss on them. He smiled and turned towards one of the windows, slipping out of it and back onto the train's roof. He left the door closed, but unlocked, and the window open letting a cool night breeze flow in.

"Really? That's knew." He stopped and turned back to his sister. This was a new development, to say the least. Nobody just murdered the train driver, unless they wanted everybody to die. Unless... "Do you think it was planned? Nobody just goes and kills the driver for fun. It isn't smart, especially if they are on the train themselves." His eyes darkened. This wasn't good. If they had no driver, they probably wouldn't be stopping anytime soon. Or at all.

He pulled the cig from his mouth and put it out in the ash tray, sighing. More and more problems. Brilliant. "We will need to act fast. Since we seem to be the only Russians on this train, it is up to us to get to the wedding and deliver our cousins gift, no?"

"Really? That's new." her brother told her. He was clearly irritated about it. And Glimmer was just as irritated as him. She should've been the one to do that. And yet someone stole the spotlight away from her. A thing she really hated a lot. "Do you think it was planned? Nobody just goes and kills the driver for fun. It isn't smart, especially if they are on the train themselves." Glimmer could see Vlad's eyes darken. He did have a point. It must be planned.

" I think it was planned. And if I find out who did it, I am honestly going to kill him " Glimmer told her brother in a fierce tone. She knew the downfall of not having a driver. They wouldn't be able to get to their destination. "We will need to act fast. Since we seem to be the only Russians on this train, it is up to us to get to the wedding and deliver our cousins gift, no?" her brother's voice broke her out of her reverie.

" Yes, you are probably right. But where do we start? " Glimmer asked.

I think it was planned. And if I find out who did it, I am honestly going to kill him Murder seemed to be the theme today, it seemed. Not a minute passed without the topic of dead people showing up. Not that it irritated Vlad, it was just tedious. They needed to get something hard, something to help them with their mission. Both he and his sister would have a hard time getting to the 'wedding' with just each other, not to mention if somebody found them and tried to kill them. They may be skilled, but both he and Glimmer couldn't take on 5 of the best Italian Mafia. They would be slaughtered. He looked back up as she asked where they would start.

"Good question. To be honest, I haven't the foggiest. It wasn't a Mafia member, so who would it be...?"

"Good question. To be honest, I haven't the foggiest. It wasn't a Mafia member, so who would it be...?" Vlad asked his sister. " How do you know that it wasn't a mafia member? There might be some mafia spies here who dress up as civilians, not to be noticed. " Glimmer answered as she tapped the heel of her shoe on the floor. No one seemed to know about the murder that happened besides them.

" Ugh. I'm really frustrated about this. But if you think that it wasn't a mafia member, then it would be someone who holds a grudge on whoever is with us in this train " she told him.

A good 5-10 minutes after Sacco has left, Joey takes his cigarette case out, opens it, then catches Luca's vacant stare out the window. He puts the case away.
"What's the matter? You look like you're havin' one of those epithany things." Joey smiles. "Where's Sacco anyways? She was just meant to be checking up on her cousin." He frowns.

Smells like trouble.

He gets up and heads to the storage cart. Inside, he finds stacks of boxes and rates - some of them look toppled and piled up in the centre. He notices a bloodstain, resembling a pair of lips on one near the top of the pile.

"Sacco? You in here, girl? Sacco?" He shakes his head, and looks at the boxes. Something's really not right here.

He starts to shift the boxes, eventually revealing a limp hand. "Sacco!" Frantically he clears enough boxes to lift her out, and lays her down gently on the floor. Thankfully she is still breathing - just out cold, and man, she's one helluva mess. He decides it's best not to leave her here, so he uses a handkerchief to clean up most of the blood, and carries her back into their carriage. "You been bar brawling again?" Sitting her down at the table next to Luca, he poses her to look as though she has fallen asleep, head in arms.

"This isn't good, Luca. Someone paid her a visit when she was in there checkin' up, but I don't get it... Why didn't they... whack her off?"

Re: [OOC] On the Mafia Express

Yeah i think we lost Nuvola, I mean I could make a post where she wakes up again and it could just be you me, and possibly the two russians. It's up to you guys though if you feel we should try to continue.

Re: [OOC] On the Mafia Express

You're welcome, but it's still dead...

Re: [OOC] On the Mafia Express

Thank you Affliction for posting!!

Re: [OOC] On the Mafia Express

Thanks for that update, and again I apologize. I had a little issue regarding my laptop and I only got back to it now. I'll go reply now ASAP.

Re: [OOC] On the Mafia Express

Well lets see after you left Sacco and Luca went to the table where Joey was, Sacco told the two about the Train Sucker and is now in the storage car, Jack has just killed the conductor and his co-conductor making it look like he was the Train Sucker, Joey has just gone to the restroom, we now have an Irish man posting. FOR ONCE!!!! Thank you dig.

Also I pointed it out to the rest that everyone would think that it really was the Train Sucker who had killed the conductor and is now aboard the Lucky Smith Scarlet. And don't have them realize who it is too quickly because then otherwise this rp will end quickly. And if you haven't read the post with the Train Sucker story here it is:

"...its said among the train workers that every night that a train is traveling and the sun is blood red, that a spirit of this psycho killer comes back. And when it's all over the Train Sucker will sit in a puddle of everyone's blood drinking it up...."

and also the sun is setting and it's about 8 O'clock currently

Re: [OOC] On the Mafia Express

That would be great thanks, because I've read through the past logs I missed and I'm sort of confused with where Luca is now, actually.

Re: [OOC] On the Mafia Express

Do you need an quick overview of what's been going on so you can jump back in?

Re: [OOC] On the Mafia Express

I'll finally back for the game as well, my semester break just started. I should have replied sooner but my grandmother was rushed to the hospital, so I needed to be there. I'll start posting again then.

Re: [OOC] On the Mafia Express

Hey Joker, the train has already started moving, sorry if I didn't make that clear in the other posts.

Re: [OOC] On the Mafia Express

I am back. :)

Been having similar problems to Dig.

Re: [OOC] On the Mafia Express

No problem just as long as you jump back in here soon

Re: [OOC] On the Mafia Express

Hey y'all, I just wanted you to know that I'm gonna get my character in the game tonight or tomorrow. RPG has been acting strangely with my computer; any time that I've tried to log in the past week or so, it would show a 'Login successful' screen and then redirect me back to the home page as though I never signed in at all. I'm sorry about the delay, it looks like this has really hit off well and I wanna get involved. Sorry for my lateness.

Re: [OOC] On the Mafia Express

@nuvola No I don't know where any of the people who haven't posted yet are. I was going to start pm-ing them and telling them that if they didn't start to post withing the next five days, at most, then I would kick them out and maybe re-open the spots for someone else to join.

Also thanks for the notice! And pretty soon here too my life is going to start to get hectic, like maybe next week, because of finals. So my posts my be slow for awhile here.

@all also I was thinking here that in the rp "dinnertime" would be coming up soon, which will be the start of the murders and all that jazz. I would also like to say that your characters won't know who the killer is just by looking at Jack, let's make them slowly find out. All they will know about the killer is that he's starting with victims at the back of the train, so starting with the conductor and co-conductor then moving to the passengers, and that he's a shadow. I might come up with a sort of "scary story" about trains and then they can think that whoever the killer is that he's the, whatever the name of the scary monster or killer is in the story.

Re: [OOC] On the Mafia Express

I hope some of the other people join as well, I was wondering where some of the Irish people are.

And I might not be able to reply for the rest of the week due to my final exams, and that could extend until next week depending on how many subjects I have to take a final exam for. I'm alright if someone drags Luca somewhere while in the story or let me just catch up when I come back.

Re: [OOC] On the Mafia Express

Yeah pretty much, the irish girl though may pop i once and awhile though

Re: [OOC] On the Mafia Express

yeah i noticed only one irish girl posted. so is it italians vs russians? and did the russians get my present i sent them on the train??? haha

Re: [OOC] On the Mafia Express

Yeah, I get where your coming from. I mean, none of the Irishman have even posted yet... ._.'

Re: [OOC] On the Mafia Express

Ok Joker I get your message. I was just hoping to wait and see if some of the others would post and get on the train, but guess if they're going to start it'll have to be already on the train.

Re: [OOC] On the Mafia Express

Hey, I'm Joey, and I just thought you should know that I'm doing my best to make sure those damn Ruskies don't get in with our chicks, even if that means provoking them until they cry.
~~Joey Merciano.

Re: [OOC] On the Mafia Express

If you haven't noticed, talking through a computer is not the best way to judge emotion. XD I can sound uber serious, but as I'm typing it i can be laughing. That is why you should never really attempt to read emotions over the internet.
They invented emoticons for that. :D

Anywho, my point was that i felt that we were noticing each other too early. We may be at war, but most bosses still don't go out to fight. Whatever. I don't really care anymore.
