Children's City

Children's City, previously called Hearthome City, is the city of choice for Pokespirit Wielders looking to escape the difficulties of life with adults. There are a myriad of reasons one might come here. Perhaps they did not want to be forced into labor for the profits of their parents, perhaps they were loners who decided they needed some shelter from the roaming bandits, perhaps they just saw adults as the enemy of the future. All of this combined has contributed to Children's City being one of the thickest concentrations of pokespirit wielders in Sinnoh.

The story of how Once-Called Hearthome City became a children's "paradise" is one firmly rooted in recent memory, however. It was the result of just one person's efforts, a child called Nicholas who took it upon himself to drive every adult out of the city and slaughter those who stayed or resisted him. Far from a just rebellion against a Tyrant, Nicholas slaughtered countless other children in his quest to purge the city of it's adults and comitted countless instances of cold-hearted, brutal murder to reach his goals. The city is still in shambles from the day he rocked it's very foundation, partially because the children are not equipped to repair it very well.

Children's City is a place deeply rooted in politics, and child politics at that. One would be wise to be careful whom they choose to make enemies with, lest they find themselves in poor circumstances.
