Setting
Resting at the peak of Mount Coronet is the origin of all pokespirits, an enormous crystaline spire which the pokespirits hang around like glowing ethereal leaves on a crystal tree while they wait for their chosen one to arrive. The pokespirits passively give off a large amount of energy, which has the side effect of causing the immediate area to be rather warm.
A large stone tablet rests at the base of the spirit tree with a set of commandments inscribed on it in a mysterious language that only pokemon spirits can translate. It reads as followed:
"BRING YOURSELVES TO JUSTICE"
"The world has been broken, and it is humanity's fault."
"It is up to you to bring justice to yourselves and the world."
"You must guide yourself, however..."
"These are the laws of Arceus!"
"Let yourself be cleansed of your moral preconceptions. From the first time you've read these commandments, let them guide you and choose the world you want to live in."
"You shall not harm or trap the spirit of the pokemon, else divine retribution shall find you."
"Possess no more than six pokemon spirits, else their presence shall overwhelm you."
"The journey to receive your pokespirit is a sacred one. Treat it as such."
"Act in the best interest in of the world."
