Sunyshore City

This port city is one of the few sources of pokespirit-free electricity still standing since the vanishing. The walkways between the various parts of the city are coated with solar panels. The panels are in bad shape but have been lovingly refurbished to the best of the locals' abilities. Many of them are broken or not operating at full capacity. This has not prevented the city from utilizing the electricity they do provide, however. Crude lighting, heat, and medicines are made using the electricity, allowing the city something superficially resembling what life used to be.

In spite of this massive achievement, the city is sparsely populated. This is because most of the larger cities prefer to get their electricity from pokespirit wielders when they need it. A single pokespirit wielder is capable of outperforming the entire grid, albeit at the pokespirit wielder's expense. The city also depends upon clear sunny days and occasionally loses power.

The denizens of Sunnyshore City have taken an oath of isolationism, attempting to carve out an existence of their own free from the conflicts of the other major cities. This has made them rather unpopular with certain groups, such as Nicholas' Crusaders. However, their commitment to not getting involved in any outside conflicts has afforded them some level of peace--from everyone but bandits, that is.

• Stance on Crime: They're rather relaxed on crime, but repeat offenders will eventually be dealt with using force.
• Stance on Cannibalism: Hesitantly tolerated, but only from outsiders. Insiders will need a less destructive diet.
• Stance on Slavery: They will tolerate it from outsiders, but don't expect to join their society without freeing the slave.
