Leader of las Serpientes, they hail her as their
queen - la reina de las serpientes. Daughter of former OG who had been slaughtered 5 years ago
on this very night. Ambushed by rival gangs, many serpents died that night. She charged into their hideout guns ablaze with a vengeance. She singehandedly wiped out all of the chiefs from their rival gang and was handed the crown and the keys to the kingdom.

Better to rule with fear, it was the only way these kind learned.

He made them fight often, their dad. Him and her brother would say they taught her how to box, but really her brother just whooped her ass until she picked up on the technique. He’d claimed it make them stronger, not just individually but together. Jacqueline always thought he was full of it and just enjoyed watching them whoop each other’s ass. Her dad was a sociopath, or at least that’s what their mother said when she was around – usually as she was leaving shouting it as she was hanging out the car window of the next dealer she was going to fuck until they tired of her.
Las Serpientes ran the blow game in this district. It’s what drew their mother to their dad in the first place. Her dad was El Jefe; the big man running the shit, the head of the snake. He made no attempt to keep his kids out of it, it was theirs to inherit. Her brother took to it like a fish to water, though that had more to do with his blind devotion to their father more than anything else. Jac was always second to her brother, but she didn’t want to be favored by the the likes of their father anyhow.
The kids at school would often challenge Jacqueline because of who her dad was, jumping her 4:1 sometimes. She’d come home bloodied and bruised and her dad would say the other person better look worse. Eventually she had to learn how to fight through the pain and take them all on. Maybe it was just repitition of circumstances she was bound to eventually learn some combination that got her the upperhand. After that she started to see the fights like practice, they’d come back with more and she’d learn to take them on too.
She earned herself a bit of a reputation as a scrapper, tough shit. The people flocked to Jac naturally. She would patrol their streets, speaking with the señoras on the porches and making sure kids ran home when the street lights went on. The streets ran at a different pace when the night came. Sure the purge might have tamed it some, but the people stayed the same – for better or worse.
When the purge started, their neighborhood was one of the hardest ones hit. Low-income minority communities across the grid were fodder to the psychopaths. A lot of people died that first Purge. Her father was more interested with making money on the night of the Purge. Jac ran her own cres on Purge nights. They’d blockade their streets with low riders to keep the purgers out.
One Purge night her dad and brother were picking up a massive shipment of coke when members of a rival gang came and killed them and took the goods. Jac found out and rallied the gang to go and take out the rival gang and get back the supply. After that she became their leader, la Reina se las Serpientes.
No longer burdened by family, Jac became cutthroat. She had nothing to lose. Las Serpientes became the biggest gang out there, extending their reach and moving bigger product. She didn’t let anyone fuck with her money, never hesitating to take out her own if she discovered they were skimming off her profits – though it was never the loyal types anyhow. Most of her people were devoted to her, but there were always a few outliers. Those who were loyal were devout. They called her Jac da Trigga ‘cos she had her finger on more triggers than you could count.
