Introduction
Kobra, the premiere superhero alliance in America and arguably the world, houses over 200 of the world's budding heroes from the ages of 1 to 25 at their training headquarters in upstate New York where they train to hone their abilities. Until the age of 14, or they're able to control their abilities, children train as a part of Spark where they are kept at headquarters where they attend Kobra's private school in the mornings and train during the afternoons.
When a student graduates from Spark they are given an option to attend a normal high school in a nearby town and begin training in the field in four person squads they will spend the rest of their training, and potentialy career, with. Our story centers around Alpha and Beta squad, high school, and defending the world from an army of aliens while still leaving time to snap a selfie.
Hi there! If you've bothered reading this far then I hope you're interested, this rp is a very loose reboot of another I tried to do with a similar concept a while ago called Project Iris so if you're somebody from there and want a spot I'd be happy to work you in even if the spots are full, just let me know.
On that note, there will be 3 different post types: The first is a normal post in third person that furthers the story like you would do in any other rp; the second is a chatroom style post that can be seen by other squad members (don't reply to someone from another squad's post in this format!) I'll probably create a variant for private messages at some point too; the final post style is a snapgram post which is basically an instagram knockoff so there's a photo, like button and room for comments at the bottom which have their own set of code if you wish to add them. Make sure you pick a face claim with a lot of pictures of them available!
As for the squads, Alpha and Beta squad are supposed to be rivals vying for the top spot as the title of "Alpha" is the title given to the squad with the highest success ratio and "Beta" to the squad with the second highest success ratio, it should go without saying that they won't really get along the best. Squad members will share a three bedroom apartment at the training centre with a full kitchen, dining room and living room.
Ideally I want to have the story divided into arcs where there's different events/enemies rather than one big enemy so there's a bit more development of the characters and such.
Anyways, this is a slight work in progress as there will be stuff added as OOC posts with sheets and info are added. I'm going to put this here as well as the rules, but this will be a first come first serve, however, I reserve the right to ask you to change certain elements of your character if they dont fit into the story or are overpowered or such.

➣ Please be able to make at least one format 1 (texting app style) post a week, and one format 2 (standard 300+ word third person style) post every fortnight. It's not overly demanding, but do make sure you can commit to that.
➣ Be respectful of your fellow roleplayers in the OOC, keep in game rivalries in game!
➣ Make your intent to apply for a role known in the reservation thread.
➣ NO GODMODDING, there will be combat in this roleplay (though mostly with NPCs) so make sure your character's skills are balnced out by their weaknesses.
➣When reserving a slot please state your face claim and hex codes as well as an image of your character in the OOC.
➣ Take sexually explicit scenes to the PMs, nobody else wants to read that.
➣ Should all the hero roles be filled and you really want a spot, feel free to message @Elision and she will see if you can be fit in somewhere. You may be allowed to play a part as an antagonist in the first arc who joins the team.
