"Welcome to Saffron City, the largest seaport and home of the strongest Gym and Silph Corporation Headquarters! We have delicacies from every region and plenty of training grounds. The Pokemon Dojo, located in the heart of the shopping district, would hereby like to announce that they have been chosen to act as one of many host locations across the Kanto region for a Pokemon Tournament. Trainers are invited to sign up and compete in this 3v3 bracket style tournament. All trainers should expect a master level challenge! The winner of the tournament will be given a grand prize, revealed at the end of the tournament! Inexperienced trainers need not apply!!"

Though few know why the tournament is being held or who exactly created it, it is known that Atlas Distributions, a globally known trade and shipment company, is endorsing it and funding the tournament alongside Silph Corporation, the largest manufacturer of goods. It is the place to be to get all the latest gadgets and maybe even get noticed by the heads of the two largest corporations for internships and job opportunities if not endorsement.
It is the year 2019 and the vast regions have known peace and freedom from the trials and tribulations from the various 'teams' that had plagued the world with their chaotic ideas of a Utopia world based on their decrees. It seemed that they had finally learned their lesson and allowed trainers and their Pokemon to prosper in peace. People still pursue their dreams of being the greatest Pokemon Trainer and embark on the arduous task of conquering the Pokemon League. Others continue to live with their Pokemon as pets, companions, and coworkers. And many of the small towns have grown with the population and technological advancements into thriving cities in their own right. Pains, cars, trains, are common sights, though there are still little places keeping with the history of the past and prefer a homely setting rather than big city lights.

Alright, now that that's out of the way, I can put more stuff about the plot, and what you might expect in this RP. The goal of this RP is to stray from the norms of the games and the anime, and possibly give it a darker tone. This rp is under the assumption that the regions in Pokemon are just as vast as the real world and we have gone to full modernity and a few futuristic gadgets since this is the future. The cities are large like any of our real word cities. There is a possibility that a trainer could lose their life on this journey. This will be of course worked out with you so no one will randomly just die. Without giving too much away, the prize revealed at the end of the tournament will elaborate more on the direction the RP will be going. For now, I should discuss the points of interest. You can have up to seven Pokemon on your team, but at most, a battle can still only have a max of 6v6. Once a Pokemon has been chosen to be excluded from the battle, it cannot be switched out with any of the actual party Pokemon. Each Pokemon can also know up to five attacks/moves what have you. Their ability will also come into play during a battle. The elements of this RP, when it comes to battle, will cater more to the anime. To elaborate, type match ups aren't necessarily a death sentence, and the power of moves and their actual accuracy numbers have no place in the RP. Instead, the story will revolve more around the players skill in combat and their ability to adapt to a different kind of battle scene. A Titanpad will be provided to help you guys collaborate on the battles, should you wish. You and your battle partner can decide the winner yourselves. If you don't know who should win, you may ask myself or FaddedFox to referee/do a random number generator to decide the winner, but again, this is something we think everyone can figure out and decide among yourselves and the way the battle is going.
Also, another aspect of the anime I am bringing into the equation is the Ash/Greninja Synchro Evolution. If you don't already know, it is an evolution similar to a mega evolution, only it purely comes from the bond the trainer shares with their Pokemon instead of drawing power from the stone and bracelet, they draw power from each other. With this, the trainer and Pokemon are much more in sync, no pun intended, and require no verbal commands to issue attacks. Each person may choose one Pokemon for which they would like to create a synchro evolution. If you don't want one, that's fine. Also, if you have your created synchro, as well as an actual Megan evolution, you can only use one or the other in battle. In regards to coming up with your own evolution, I ask that you collaborate with me with your finished product, and we can decide if anything needs to me adjusted. Keep in mind that each evolution, though giving a great deal of temporary power, will have more of a drawback, such as physical exhaustion, or whatever you may feel works best for that specific Pokemon. The drawback will effect both the trainer and the Pokemon, so keep that in mind as well. Any further questions, feel free to send me a PM, and whatever answer I give you, I will be sure to add the final result to the intro page, should there be anything I missed.
Obviously the Elite 4 are supposed to be seen as the authority, but they really don’t have their hands in any of the goings on around Kanto, and I never like the idea of a cut and paste character like Nurse Joy and Officer Jenny. These people will utilize both Pokemon and typical law enforcement skills, including marksmanship, though they will only be using rubber bullets and tranquilizers at any given time, not actual bullets. Law enforcement is going to want to keep tabs on the heroes. Powerful Pokemon Trainers are like Mutants and Superheroes in different universes, they wield immense power, and they could be no older than somewhere in their teens or early adulthood, so they have to be willing to answer to some form of authority to prevent them from suddenly deciding they would like to wield their power the wrong way. This could be a plot line utilized if you want your hero to be part of the law enforcement team or have them under heavy watch. Police departments will also be there to provide assistance to these traveling trainers, especially since many are minors and are going to need assistance. The safest way for these young trainers to go out traveling is to go in groups or get sponsored by people who see they have potential and fund them to travel around with relative ease. Of course some could work temporary jobs to obtain more money. The age ranges for our trainers will be 16-28, with a few exceptions if you talk to us first.
There will be shops for people and Pokemon and if you have an idea about what to add, please let me or FaddedFox know so we can incorporate it. There will be a Day Care facility for Pokemon if you would like to utilize that, as well as breeders throughout the cities and roads if you want to buy specific Pokemon bred for certain tasks. Again, this is something you need to discuss with us so we don't end up with overly powerful Pokemon. Thus far, there is only one approved breeder (Eevee eggs) as part of the character list played by FaddedFox. More ideas and character plot-lines are welcome with collaboration. If you have any questions, concerns, comments, or want to add to the story, please use the designated OOC called 'Plot Discussion' so that we can all be involved in plot development, especially since there are two GMS.

I've already finished the first draft of Felli's bio, and submitted it. Just waitin' on Fox to confirm everything's okay with it, since I did some kinda weird stuff with her character. In any case, I'm still around, and ready whenever all of you are! :3
P.S. @Bullet: Just read what you have of your character bio. I must say, I'm rather amused. Firstly, he kinda seems like a natural foil to Felli, having similar powers with his weaponry - he creates chains, she creates stakes - and a similar sort of sixth sense, but a completely opposite combat style to her. But it's especially funny, since you even used Goldov as a reference image, and, as I originally planned her, she was going to use a musket as her primary weapon and use Fremy as a reference, with the hidden weaponry I gave her instead largely being inspired by Adlet's shenanigans. Rokka no Yuusha FTW.

I think everyone (at least on our end) is a little backed up with school getting ready to start and everything, so I think--don't quote me on this--that we're still going, so just keep working on your characters, things should smooth out in the near future! :3

lol you and Cienpher both. Gintoki Sakata wants to be one of the Black Hands and I will be making a CR for Yin. Just to let everyone know, Yin and Yang are bisexual to allow anyone to forma romance with them and you can play whatever gender. Also the picture up on the intro for Yang... I just put that up cuz it fit. You are more than welcome to change that picture. :3
