Introduction

It all started when a child with 'extraordinary' abilities was born. To be more precise, he was pyrokinetic, which was quickly discovered as he just a few hours after his birth had set a whole hospital on fire. Although he was the first, this boy was far from the last child born with such mutations. Many, many more children with this kind of 'special condition' were to follow. In order to prevent global panic and that the children came to harm, they were taken into custody by the government. Some parents agreed to send their children away to 'safety', but some had their children taken by force.
Everything happened behind the scenes. The general public was never informed about any of this. It was a top-secret operation. Of course, this was all for the safety of humanity. Secluding the children from normal society was for the better. Not only could they pose a danger to normal individuals, but they could also possibly pose a danger to themselves.
Yet, after they were taken away by the government, what happened to these children?
A faze of testing proceeded. A secret project had been created. A new way to range war, an army that would be able to make everyone bend the knee. Children were unmercifully trained into becoming puppets hung up on strings and no one knew what was happening. But cracks soon started to show. Something had gone wrong with the experiment...

Some of the test subjects started to act different, it was like they had been possessed, nothing but bloodlust was left. Everything went wrong, the defaulting subjects massacred everyone that got in their way. Researchers, guards, and even their own comrades. No one could face them as a group so they made their way out from the facility and continued to butcher anyone that got in their way.
Now on the outside where they wreak havoc, it's now their former comrade's job to take them out in an attempt to save humanity. But under the surface cracks are still slowly forming.

Testing is resumed...

The Story So Far... Write a Post » as written by 2 authors
Ivan #e3001f
"Of course I have he wouldn't do that without me pushing." Nana flinched as Jessie answered, she had anticipated the answer but it still made her feel uneasy. She tried to hide her shock and still act all stern and serious, but her hands still shook slightly so she clutched them together in an attempt to hide it. "Of course it's okay-" Nana flinched once more, she didn't even listen to what else he had to say. She just shook her head fiercely, "No, no, it's not okay! You don't do that to your teammates."
Nana ceased to shake her head when she heard Judah speaking as in a whisper, she narrowed her eyes once more in response to what he said but decided on not prying more than necessary. So she let out a small sigh, "Alright... I'll believe you." Then the last part hit the ground, Nana was going to thank them for being honest with her but the words died before they left her mouth. Kill his brother? She was going to protest but before she could do that Judah had already left them. She followed him as he left with a concerned look and sighed once more. Why was it so hard to communicate with him?
Ivan looked over at Jessie and grinned, "Alright, great. Thanks!" Still oblivious to anything that went on around him, he did just as Jessie said and started eating cheerfully. He glanced around at the others, noticing that Judah wasn't accompanying them. He looked around once more but the blurriness of his vision made him unable to notice the figure hiding in the shadows. The only thing he really could see clearly was Jessie so he turned towards him and asked without swallowing his food, "Rose doesn't want any?"
Nana sighed once more and looked over at Jessie with sympathetic eyes before whispering, "He shouldn't have said that... It was unnecessary. Sure, it's bad what you did to Arctic Wolf, but that was way too drastic and mean." She stopped speaking and covered her mouth with her hand once more. She wasn't sure her intentions got through, she tried to be supportive but everything seemed to roll off the tongue wrong.
Jessie to his credit wasn't showing the pain he felt on the inside on the outside keeping a happy smile on his face as he picked up a rabbit to eat. He managed to swallow a few mouthfuls but his mouth was too dry. He tried not to but he kept looking up and over to his brother's lone form the feeling in his stomach getting worse and worse.
"Rose doesn't want any?" The words knocked him out of his stupor and he picked at the meat with a strained smile trying to keep his tone positive but the pain in his voice still lingered. "No... Rose... is angry at me. Rightfully so, I'm sure he'll eat later." He didn't like the sympathy in Nana's eyes and as she spoke and anger flashed into his eyes as he spoke and he glared at her. "Don't pretend to understand him. He doesn't do it to be mean he doesn't even understand how to be mean. If you actually talked to him you'd understand that instead of assuming you know everything from knowing us for a few hours."
He glared back down at the food and threw it down and got to his feet his fists clenched before he forced himself to talk to her again calmly. "There's a reason why he's in his own head. It's not his power that does that to him, it's mine." He slowly turned and moved off starting to set up his sleeping bag. He tried to stay calm but the fact someone would assume that of Judah made his chest hurt. It was his fault his brother was like that in the first place, why couldn't she see that?
Ivan #e3001f
Ivan shrugged, it was a thought that entered it his mind but it left just as quickly. He continued to eat in silence back in his disconnected state. Not really knowing or bothering with what everyone else was doing. Once he was done he leaned back and simply watching the movement of the flames in the middle of them. He glanced over at Jessie as he withdrew as well and seemed to be heading off to bed. It sounded like a good idea but Ivan stayed put for a while more.
Nana stayed put as well, she didn't protest as Jessie left, she didn't look after him either. Instead, she just stayed still, not saying or moving a muscle. Nervous that anything she did would cause a new commotion. Because just like before she seemingly only was able to cause more pain and problems for others when she tried to do what was right. She tried to understand why but she couldn't get her mind around it. Sure, she had come to terms with the fact that Judah wasn't trying to harm them, she spared him when everyone told her to. But why couldn't she say that what he said was unnecessary cruel? Wasn't they supposed to be family? Do families treat each other like that? She let out a heavy sigh and tried to give Ivan a smile but it only ended up into a grimace, "Go and rest, I will take the first watch."
Ivan nodded in response, "Alright." Ivan stood up, swayed a little, somehow he suddenly felt nauseous. It was like the whole world suddenly had started to move around him. He made his way over to the sleeping bags and prepared his own. He crept inside and closed his eyes but the world still seemed to be spinning faster and faster. He tried to ignore it as he fell asleep.
Morning crept closer, Ivan yawned, usually, he wouldn't feel this tired. But ever since he was woken up something had felt off inside his head. He didn't have a headache. It just felt weird, he couldn't describe the feeling, he didn't recognize the feeling either. He remembered feeling sick last night but he couldn't really pinpoint what had actually happened. The whole evening was a blur really.
Someone else yawned and Ivan looked over, Nana was crawling out from her sleeping bag and rubbed her eyes before mumbling, "Good morning." Ivan didn't answer, instead, he just stood up and started to pack his things in preparation for their departure.
