Before you get to work at █████ (It seems we have been censored by the government. For now let's refer to it as the "Agency") you must attend a specialized school. (Roles all taken...But if you have a good one might add it for you)

Welcome to the United Nations school for the gifted, but, more importantly, welcome to **** (It seems we have been censored by the government. For now let's refer to it as the "Agency"). Which is more secretive than the CIA, MI5, CSIS and ASIO, the "Agency" is not well-known of by the general public. Those other government teams and organizations are just the eye-candy, the front men for what is really going on behind the scenes. The public already has enough access and information to unlock all of their secrets. Given just the tiniest slip and everything they had worked so hard to conceal would all be revealed. The whole world would be in total chaos. The masses would be horrified by the terrible acts committed against them by their own government and absolutely terrified by the acts that had been committed against them by others. But those horrible and terrible things pale in comparison to what those at the "Agency" deal with every day, and for that reason, we cannot afford any screw ups. Like the massive alien invasion in 2003, or how a Demon broke into our plane of existence back in 2010. We must remain the World's best kept secret, for sanity’s sake. That’s why we have not been given the permission to disclose our name even to you, Student. We might not even have one, for all you know. Why do we need to put a label on it? It’s what we do that counts. What we do is seek out and terminate that which could prove to be a threat to society as a whole. You might look at us as the Global Protection Squad (though that is not our name, I assure you). We put the average citizens first, leaving the dirty work up to the others. All our agents are specially trained and top notch, as you soon will be. You might ask, why was I chosen to become a future member of this society? Maby you have the Genes of greatness, maybe you have special "abilities" or maybe your just some random person who caught our eye. We have been watching most of you since your birth, as with most of the other future agents. Blood has been taken from all of you to proved you were a healthy, strong, and intelligent being. Not to sound presumptuous but, you are one of the best of humankind (even if your not part of humankind). What if I was to tell you most of your parents were not your biological parents at all, but two specially trained agents? Would you resent them? Would you resent the “Agency?” I doubt that. You were always given the best while growing up after all, right? All the love in the world, correct? A child is always brought up best in these kinds of structured and safe environments. And because of that, you stand before me, a well-rounded and healthy young adult, and ready to begin your training at Thesis. A solid career and long road await you at the “Agency” when you finish your schooling. We look forward to having you here, Student, and good luck.

Unlike a regular school, United Nations school for the gifted does not operate on a standard grading system, therefore, we do not have grades (just as a normal school would be k-12). We use a much more appropriate system Rank 1 - 7. At Rank 7 you are cleared for field work and no longer need to go to classes, but you all are very far from that. All of you are Rank 1, or as the upper classmen so affectionately named you "Noobs" once your "Teachers" think that you are ready you all will be promoted. you should make an effort to get to know for "Classmates" because they are also your squadmates, which means if they do not get promoted to the next rank NONE of you do. In addition, to your "Agency" training, you will be expected to take and pass each of the following classes Public Relations History Basic Math, Advanced Math, Chemistry, Basic Computers, Advanced Computers Programming and Engineering

After Class Training

All students are required to spend at least 2 days a week of after-school training at the gym, obstacle course, or Dark Room.

Training In The Gym: Consists of a large group of students and 2 coaches. Students will either work on conditioning (stamina, strength training, etc.) or hand-to-hand combat (sparring). Note: hand-to-hand combat training will not take place until the coaches deem the students ready.

Training On The Obstacle Course: A military style obstacle course consisting of hurdles, crawling obstacles, and zip-lines. The student will be timed on the course. An ideal finishing time is 5 minutes. The record finishing time is 3 minutes and 41 seconds. Students usually run the course as a squad.

Training In The Dark Room: The Dark Room is designed so that students can practice their skills in stealth and marksmanship. It is illuminated only by backlights and a jumble of walls inside it makes up a maze. Students wear specialized black suits with a target on the chest that glows green under the lights. At the center of the target is a tiny sensor that when shot at, by a specialized gun, begins to beep. This means you are out of the game. The goal in the Dark Room is to be the last one standing. Students sometimes enter the Dark Room in a small group or in teams and are always under the observation of a staff member.

Special Rank 7 Training: Special training is offered to Level 3 agents where they can become acquainted with some specially chosen gadgets and tools used in the agent field. Level 3 training is always taught by a specialized teacher, usually a high ranking agent at the “Agency.” Only three to four students are taught per training session.

Housing

Once training begins at Thesis students are no longer permitted to live off campus, for their own safety. Because of this, there are a number of housing complexes and dormitories scattered about campus for students to live in. Those housing complexes monitored by the school are all single gender dorms though teachers and staff might volunteer to monitor and run separate and co-ed housing apartments. All your things will be packed and shipped to the housing of your choice before your arrival.

Ah, yes our "Teams" Swordsmen demonstrate a natural aptitude for the ways of the sword. Is their proficiency with a blade supernatural in origin, were they born with the skills to take down an army with nothing more than a sword, or perhaps is their skill the results of training endlessly for hours on end? We are not sure, but we do know they are able to wield a sword with incredible proficiency in speed, power, and skill, performing such feats such as stopping and deflecting bullets, decimating large objects or areas, cutting through solid material such as steel, and even hold back their strength to deal damage to their foes without killing them. Which is exactly what we are looking for.

Our "Teams" Marksmen is able to wield any ranged weapon you put their hands on with great prowess and accuracy. It's almost scary how a Gun, Bow, Knife or even a slingshot become weapons of mass destruction in their hands. They can shoot or throw even reload multiple rounds of projectiles with quick succession.

Now the thing about our "Teams" Beast is I have no idea if they are a Demon, some Mad Scientist experiment went wrong(..... or right depending on who you ask), or someone who just learn to channel their anger into a weapon, but I can tell you one thing they are not the kinda person you want mad. Trust me it's not pretty.

If you passed our "Teams" Theft in the hallways you may want to check and make sure you still have all your valuables.... Yes, even if they didn't come within 10 feet of you. Aside begin able to rob you blind without you even noticing they have an extensive knowledge and skill in many types and ways of stealth tactics, enabling them to easily slip in and out of areas undetected. Their abilities in all manners of stealth are so refined they appear as mere illusions to those who have been lucky to spot them. Not to mention they could easily slit your throat without you even knowing.

Have you had a chance to meet the "Teams" Magician yet? I'm not talking crappy cards tricks or that stuff you see in vegas. This is the real deal, I'm not sure if they use rituals, symbols, actions, gestures and language to exploit supernatural forces, but you know how the saying goes "a magician never reveals their secrets".

Now the Brain of the "Team" puts most people on earth to shame when it comes to their extraordinary skills with the study and utilization in the field of science to produce mass inventions, conduct experimentation and perform accurate calculations. You would think they are not human...... I mean they are human right?.... now that I think about it did we catch all of the Aliens from that invasion a few years back? Whatever the case They have vast knowledge in a variety of branches of science as well such as biology, chemistry, physics, technology, geography, etc. and are able to use their scientific expertise to create weapons, produce lifeforms or clones.

The "Teams Fighter is someone after my own heart, who needs fancy weapons and powers when you can be the baddest person on the planet using just your fist. They are unbelievably skilled in most known forms of fighting. They can be exceptionally proficient in the fighting traditions of a variety of cultures and become advanced with their own individual methods of close quarter combat.

I'm not going to lie I wasn't too sure about the "Teams" Saint I mean yes they can heal themselves and others, make nearly unbreakable barriers and can even use their "powers" to empower others. It's just really hard to overlook their lack of offensive power......... Oh well, at least, the rest of the "Team" will like them...... when they are not cracking "Healer" jokes.

As someone who spent a lot of the time on the sideline when all the action is going down the "Teams" is someone I can relate to. They just sit back and control some wild animal, Demon or Ungodly beast in a fight with little to no risk to themselves....... well other than the contract they had to make to summon their Familiar.

"I can't believe I got roped into babysitting a bunch of snot nosed Rookies," he mumbled to himself. A rather slender with his hair neatly slicked back takes one last deep drag of his cigar before dropping it on the ground and putting it out with the toe of his shoe. " Maybe this assignment would be so bad if they let me smoke." He would push up his sunglass and make his way to the large building. Most people would see a nice cushy desk job as a reward for all his years of good work, but no "Smith". He seen it as being put out to pasture. After all the things he has done and all the things he has seen spending his day sitting at a desk reading out a lesson to a bunch of "Kids" was worst than hell in his eyes. Hell, he would even rather be in Antarctica keeping the local yeti population in check then this The smell of smoke trailed behind his menacing steps forwards accompanied by a neatly tailored suit the only thing out of place was his lazily done tie. He drew many stares to look his way, whether it be from his sunglass and the scowl on his face or tall body, he wasn't sure at this point. Taking long strides, his long legs covered ground pretty darn quickly and he walked with purpose. Glancing around, he could see the sun was slowly rising itself in the sky as its bright rays of sunlight kissed the tops of the trees that surrounded the school's campus.

The man focused on the direction he was headed towards, today was the day the start of a new school year at United Nations Academy. which was the "angents" orientation and to his dismay, he was brought here to help with the school's "special program". To most people the United Nations Academy was the most prestigious schools in the world. Every year the school receive millions of application but only 100 applicants are chosen, now some of these applicants are normal humans that will go on to live normal lives but most are "special", in reality, United Nations Academy is where their more "special" student train to become an Agent of "The Agency" who specialize in dealing with things that people tell their children don't exist. The Man pushed open the doors to the Classroom he was told to meet his "Team" in. The room itself wasn't too big compared to the other classroom, in truth, it looked a bit run down. Which only seem to add to the long list of reasons why he hated this detail. The things his "team" would be dealing with are far too dangerous as well as something kept hidden from the rest of the normal human world, so the room had to be one that wouldn't garner unwanted attention. The man would take a seat in the front of the classroom, glancing at the watch on his wrist he waited for the bell to ring.

The began to tap his finger on the desk nervously, it has only been 5 minutes since he last smoked and he had already begun to go into withdrew. He hated that he has to waste time giving a briefing to his "Team" the man was sure most would die or drop out due to the level of difficulty that came along with the job, the man seen this as a waste of time and effort when most of these rookies will be gone in a week.

As the bell rang it was accompanied by a loud spacker announcement "All student should report to the auditorium your new principal Mr. Claus would like to welcome you to our great school."

(I will try and give the people who have not yet finish characters (even myself lol) time to do so so this meeting in the auditorium will most likle be the 1st 3 post or so.)

Miriam ‘Mimi’ Poloskia

As the speaker blared out the command to attend the auditorium, one such individual gave a sigh of disdain, eye rolling as she watched the small group she'd been conversing with make their way to leave. She was a short, petite girl with blonde hair and emerald eyes, clad in a bright purple jacket. Watching the students all continue on their way until she was practically left alone, she began speaking her mind, chatting with the only companion that had remained behind with her.

“Really? An assembly? Ugh, no way I’m sitting in some stuffy hall for that long.”Miriam ‘Mimi’ Poloskia recited to her partner, folding her arms behind her head as she leaned her back against the wall. “Honestly, it’s just a waste of time. Blah blah future potential blah blah school pride this blah blah. Heard it all before. I could make a better opening speech if I put my mind to it. At the very least it’d be way more interesting…” The female magician declared boastfully, using her hands in time to her words before turning to look at her friend perched on her shoulder. With a loud caw, it seemed he agreed, Juke the raven adjusting his wings a moment before fluttering off to the other side of the hall to perch on the window sill.

Mimi huffed a bit as she folded her arms, her earrings swaying and jingling slightly. Already, she was partly regretting her choice to attend this place. To her, it was like a return to everything she’d made a point of moving away from in her life. School. Routine. Authority. Sure, there were plenty of students (And potential fans) to wow and amaze here, but she couldn’t exactly interrupt the school welcome speech for that. Most everyone else had already began making their way to the auditorium, the odd stragglers running late still hurrying through the corridors. Smirking a little to herself, it occurred to Mimi that she was probably the only one with enough initiative to skip the presentation. Jeez, everyone else were such mindless sheep that they couldn’t even-

“Wix Tay.” Mimi mumbled to herself, twirling her finger slightly as she manipulated the light around her and Juke into a seamless camouflage, vanishing from sight as a pair of teachers attending the assembly made their way past the now hidden mage. Once she was certain they were out of earshot, she dispelled the magic, seemingly materialising out of nothing as she kicked off the wall. “Heh, losers. Honestly, if the staff here are this incompetent I’m not gonna learn anything. They may as well just let a genius like me just attend the graduation.” Laughing to herself confidently as she placed her hands on her hips, she gestured Juke back to her shoulder as she began striding down the corridor, her heels clacking slightly on the polished tiles as she looked for anything or anyone of interest. “Y’know, maybe I should send you to listen to the ceremony, just in case there’s anything important. What do you think?” Mimi asked the bird on her shoulder, receiving a loud shriek into her ear.

“Okay, okay, you win! Maybe we can find something to eat…”

Dunwich

In the girl's bathroom, hiding in one of the stalls, the young Dunwich sat on the toilet. She wasn't using the toilet but was hiding from everyone. She agreed to come to this school, but now that she's here she was regretting that decision. There were so many people here and they were all normal and happy, and she was big and weird. She was awkward looking in her big black robes and long red hair, and was so tall. At least they couldn't see under the robes at her grotesque body. This was her first time out of the lab without the guidance of her caretakers. She wanted to go back to the labs, where it was isolated and safe.

An announcement was made for all students to go to the auditorium for an assembly. "GGWWWWAAA!" Dunwich let out a ghostly moan after the announcement. That meant she's going to have to leave the bathroom. She waited for all the other girls to leave, and then some, before wondering out. Dunwich stumbled her way out of the bathroom and into the hallway. Most of the other students were already at the auditorium. Dunwich looked around confused. Which way is the auditorium? Dunwich didn't know. She begun to aimlessly roam the halls. She saw another student not in auditorium at this time, a petite blonde girl with a bird. Should she go ask for directions? The thought of going up to the girl and talking to her crossed Dunwich's mind, but is immediately shot down by anxiety. Plus the girl had an animal with her, Dunwich doesn't like animals. Dunwich just stared at the girl with a blank emotionless stare and backed herself into a corner.

Kinderbee had heard the announcement instructing students to attend the auditorium for some welcoming speech. He was already there not long after it was given, perching himself rather nonchalantly on a chair down in the front row of the large hall. However nobody dared enough to bother him once more bodies poured in and settled in the rows behind, but the blonde boy had suspected that it might have been his red eyes that had them kept at a distance. Maybe they thought he was a bit kooky?

He sat cross-legged with both feet tucked way under him, balancing an open notebook against his lap at an angle with only a hand holding it steadily in place. His spine slouching down against the back of the seat rather boredly, his other hand dangling lazily over his knee. Um, can’t I take control now? Bee urged quietly and pestered his other half. Immediately after the blonde boy turned and cast a gaze over the big room. ”No,” Bass huffed when jotting down some words in the book, ”you’ll get distracted and miss something. So shut up already.”

Down under his chair there laid a slumped bag sat underneath. He hunched over in the chair and gave it a light nudge just to check it was still there. ”Do you think we brought everything?” Bass asked. They didn’t know what to expect on their first day at this new school and made it a priority to ensure that they had included everything they could have possibly needed within the bag. Yes. I double-double checked, just like Anna taught us. Remember what she use to tell us? Bass groaned into himself. No, now was not the time to think of the woman. They were on their own now, nobody to mollycoddle them when things got tough. It didn’t make sense to ponder on the past. ”Anyway… I still don’t understand why we couldn’t bring Snowy with us. She needs to be walked.”

But she’s not a dog! And our dorm is very suitable to her needs. Bee tried to assure his other half from within, though his soft voice tended to fall on deaf ears. She has food and water and a tray. I fluffed up her bed especially and left out all her favourite toys. She’ll be alright without us for awhile. The voice continued on somewhat annoyingly. An--

”It’s still not the same.” The other sighed and leaned further into the chair. More students were arriving into the hall and quickly the sound of chatter and foot patter consumed the air. We never got the chance to eat either. I wonder what the food’s like here? Anna said it was much different to the things we were given in the laboratories. Well maybe there was an upside to this venture then? Anything was better than that nasty stuff. Makes you think what else will be different here. Like our classes and teachers? Finally we’ll actually have peers, classmates even. It won't just be us for once.

The boy fidgeted in his seat a little. ”Quiet. I think it's starting.” Bass focused his gaze ahead and onto the platform where the man would no doubt address the students from. Honestly, he didn’t care what they said. His interest lay only beyond this, somewhere else, pondering what things they’d be doing upon reaching their classroom. He was very curious.

“...Mr. Claus would like to welcome you to our great school.”

With a desperate attempt to remain poker-faced and cool, Aleks figured it was just easier to laugh at the ridicule of such an obvious excuse for a moniker. Couldn't be more telling if it tried, like, 'Tell me he's got the hat and everythin'. Seriously.'. In a society where secrecy was the equivalent of some sacred vow, Aleks couldn't help but adjust her curiosity with mild amusement as her first impressions were less than what she'd expected, and only furthered the notion that this “school” took itself way more seriously than it ever should.

It was a far cry from her previous regiment to say the least, anyway.

Actually attending said meeting with the rest of the flock, however? Well, Aleks didn't think much of it. It was all useless hogwash anyway, and better left forgotten than remembered in the grand scheme of things. She was much more interested at the prospect of actually getting to meet these presumed supernatural badasses she'd heard so much about. And in her moment of wise contemplation (and probably wondering the consequences for slacking off), Aleks caught a somewhat... unusual sight as she turned around the corner of the hallways.

'That's not creepy or anythin'.'

It took her a moment to register the giant clomp of cloth and red hair staring at what appeared to be a much smaller girl in an overly flamboyant outfit, and a bird perched on her shoulder. From what she could gather, the latter was definitely another student. The other one, however, was a different story entirely.

She paused in her walk, noting several details before figuring that playing at staring contests wasn't going to accomplish much beyond awkward introductions. And so, with a smirk and an arm raised in greeting, Aleks approached the pair without hesitation.

“Yo! Guess I'm not the only one running late, huh? Cool.”

Miriam ‘Mimi’ Poloskia

Mimi wasn’t the first to notice that she had company in her presence. Jauntily striding down the hallway, it took a slight nip and peck to her ear from Juke to draw her attention behind her, though the young mage didn’t exactly take kindly to that method of grabbing her focus. “Ow! What was that for you birdbrain?!” Annoyed, she grabbed hold of her raven, somewhat cruelly pulling on his face in retribution, causing him to squawk and flap about in quite the ruckus. The two made quite the scene, but thankfully, most of it was obscured from her approaching and observing colleagues.

“Yo! Guess I'm not the only one running late, huh? Cool.” A feminine, and yet rough voice filtered in from behind Mimi, causing her to freeze momentarily before stuffing Juke behind her back as she whirled to see who it was that she was going to grace with her presence. Immediately, Miriam began inspecting the girl before her, a pleasant smile crossing her face to hide her scrutinizing eyes. Tall, but not overly so. Somewhat slender by the looks of things, kinda lanky, and with awful posture… But even with that, she was still a few inches taller than Mimi, even in her heels. Though that riled Mimi somewhat, the lacklustre expression and obvious lack of care for her appearance helped dissuade her insecurities. Satisfied that Mimi was significantly prettier than the girl in front of her, she stood up straight, and decided to respond.

“Well, being late is only a concern if you plan to attend. Someone of my calibre and talent has far more valuable things to do with her time.” Striking a haughty pose out of habit, Mimi placed a hand on her chest and another to the sky as she tossed her nose into the air. It had only been a moment and already her bragging had started. Grinning, she looked back to the girl in front of her, before noticing that there was yet another in their company; though she was shrunken against the wall at the back of the hallway. Again, her inferiority complex kicked in as she noticed how tall this other girl was, even dwarfing this sandy slackjaw in front of her. How does someone even grow that much?! As her insecurities began to rise even further, Mimi decided it was crucial she make an incredible impression on these two to solidify her position as the perfect and special individual that she was.

“But where are my manners? Introductions are in order, no?” Making a twirling curtsy, Mimi took a step back as she spoke once more. “Wix Tay! Allow me to show you just who you’re dealing with!” With a flourish of her hands Mimi waved them in an arc overhead, a myriad of colours and sparkles of light descending down over her figure like glitter as a series of letters appeared above her. M I M I. “Introducing the one, the only, magnificent and magical Mimi! Magician, master, mesmerising and miraculous! Monumental and mysterious! Mystifying and magnanimous! Marvellous, majestic and - above all - modest.” A small series of silent fireworks exploded around her, but they were nothing more than an optical illusion as she made herself glow with a soft white light, standing proudly. Even if both her spectators would need to look down to see her, it was definitely enough of a show to garner their awe and admiration.

“Feel free to praise me now. Applaud and what have you. I know it can be hard to break your stunned appreciation, but I do so deserve the admiration. Don’t be afraid.” Mimi shut her eyes as she raised her arms once more, expecting to be soaked in an adoring vat of amazement and love. Instead, she felt a rather rough force push down on her head, Juke perching atop her head and giving another loud caw.

“And this here is my assistant, Juke. Though he’s not really that important.” Folding her arms, Mimi made no effort to remove him from his place. Demeaning as it was, it would be far more embarrassing to create a spectacle of shooing him off. Though Mimi was not really aware, Juke seemed mildly wary of the ‘girl’ that would be revealed as Dunwich, though as far as she would have experienced, it was probably one of the better reactions she would have experienced from an animal. Perhaps it was the increased sentience or magical properties that the familiar possessed? Regardless, he peered to that girl far more than the one directly in front of Mimi. For Mimi, it was probably telling how much she cared about her audience considering her complete lack of interest in acquiring any information about them.

It had been quite the day already, for Seiji Kumou, as he slowly began to figure out his way around the massive "United Nations" school. He had thought his own home was rather large, but that was before this place. The building was a whole new definition of giant.

Peeking into several other rooms, Seiji continued his lost adventures through the halls, or at least until the intercom cut through, requesting for the all students to attend some kind of welcoming ceremony. Personally, the male would rather have continued with his walking, but he figured it would be best if he made his way over to the auditorium. He didn't really know the rules of this place, nor did he know how the classes would work. Figuring that they would probably cover those things, or at least touch on them a little bit, he found himself making his way over to the auditorium. Or at least, he hoped that he was. He wasn't exactly sure if he was going the right way.

After nearly ten minutes of dragging his feet through the school, he finally spotted the doors to what he guessed was the auditorium, or at least it seemed so with the amount of people beginning to file inside. That's quite a few people, I suppose. Are they all the new people this year? I wonder if any of them are in my class... The thoughts came to his mind suddenly as he glanced over all of them. Some, he found looked rather impressive. Others? Not so much. Yet, looks can be deceiving, something he knew well enough himself.

Waiting until most of them had gotten inside, Seiji finally merged himself into the thinning crowd around the door. He was greeted by the sight of quite a few chairs inside, with many of them taken by the students who had arrived before himself. A platform sat at the front, where Seiji guessed whoever this Mr. Claus person (wasn't that some Christmas related person's name? He didn't know himself, only that he recognized it from somewhere, and it definitely wasn't from this school) was would be speaking to all of them.

Looking around for some kind of spot to sit at, Seiji soon found a seat open at the front, next to a blonde with a notebook held in his lap. Threading his way through the people still standing up, he finally sat down in the chair, letting his shoulders relax and releasing a quiet sigh that he had been holding in for some time now. He did hope that the presentation would be starting soon, but for now, he would wait.

Feeling a bit awkward, Kumou turned his head over to look at the blonde next to him, and offered a small, barely visible smile. Perhaps if he at least said hello, maybe introduce himself, it would help a bit. So that's exactly what he did.

"Hello." He forced the word out of his mouth, with a small hint of accent accompanying it. "Ah...my name is Seiji Kumou. Do you mind me asking what your name is?"

Dunwich watched as another girl approached, a taller girl but not as tall as Dunwich. The two girls began exchange dialogue. Dunwich watched, not wanting to speak herself. She thought about just walked away. But then the smaller girl started performing magic.

It was flashy magic, very different from her own magical powers. Dunwich wasn't too impressed with the magic itself, but the fact that another student of the magic arts was around made her feel a bit more comfortable. Dunwich took a couple steps forward. She took a glace at the bird on the girls shoulder. It was staring at her, but she recognized it as the small girl's familiar. "Gah... uhhh... A... f-fellow sorceress," Dunwich spoke, her speech quick and broken. One can tell she was rather nervous. There was also that hit of inhuman horror in her voice. Like she had an extra vocal cord that was deeper darker and quieter behind her normal voice. "I-I'm Dunwich... you're magic is... uhh... a bit more... brighter than mine. I... I can't show you my magic... N-not here... anyways... because I study d-dark magic... brought down by the Great Old Ones... The Outer Gods from dimensions and times beyond our own.
Like my father, Yog-Sothoth. And uhh... The Crawling Chaos, Nyarl..."
Oh Shoggoth! Did she just tell them her father was an inter-dimensional demon god? "uhhh... well... ummm... There's a thing... you know..." Dunwich started to walk in another direction. Hopefully they couldn't really understand her.

'Guess I caught a lively one.'

Aleks couldn't help but give an inward laugh as the tiny, tiny girl displayed an introduction that felt as practised as the glee in her voice; performing a dance worthy of theatres. Clearly, she had a lot to compensate for in the presence of much taller – and presumably older -- girls (she hadn't failed to notice the lack of stature), and with that thought in mind Aleks played pretend long enough to feign amazement on top of her initial interest and handed Mimi exactly what she wanted. A modest standing ovation.

“Wow!” She spoke under a series of clapping. “That's some talent you've got there, magical Mimi.” The sweetened words slipped through her teeth so hard it nearly broke the grin on her face. Luckily the giant red-hair managed to break the metaphorical ice as she approached in light of magic being the arisen topic, her voice jittery and quick with an underlying tone that Aleks couldn't quite make out was either the person's real voice or some strange echo caused by the pseudo-arctic gear they were wearing.

'Dunwich? That's not your typical name...'

And as the conversation delved into darker tones, Aleks couldn't help but feel an eerier, almost otherworldly vibe from the giant. She made a mental note to exercise caution in this one's presence, if only pre-emptively. She wouldn't want to be privy to this supposed dark magic, anyway. Didn't exactly have good fortune written over it.

In an attempt to clear the air, mostly for her own sanity, Aleks gave a not-so subtle cough for want of some attention. “Not to sound like your surrogate mum or anythin',” A nonchalant shrug. Playing it cool. “but shouldn't we get to meet this Claus guy?”

Josephina, or as she was most commonly called, JJ, had stepped outside of her dorm the minute she heard the announcement. Oh, this'll be fun! she thought to herself. Her first assembly at her new school, what better opportunity to pickpocket people? She made her way down the hallway, stopping to look inside classrooms on her to the auditorium to see what was in store for her time here. Some were plain boring rooms, with desks all in neat rows, while others had no desks and looked like they were made more for combat training. "What an interesting school..."she spoke aloud as she walked through a crowd of people who were also trying to get to the assembly. On her way through the crowd she stole a few objects from the pockets of the people. One thing was a credit card, another a pack of unopened gum, and the last being a small keychain. She threw the keychain in the trash and popped a piece of gum in her mouth before placing the credit card in a pocket. She continued on her way to the auditorium.

Stopping again, JJ looked at her phone, pulling up the map of the school since she didn't really know where she was going. After turning a corner, she was at the door of the auditorium. Mostly everyone was inside, except for a small group she saw standing at the door. She walked past them and headed inside, trying to find a seat. Seeing no open seats near the back, she looked to the front. "Why is the front always the free row...?"she grumbled quietly to herself as she made her way up and sat herself next to some boy with dark colored hair who appeared to be trying to make conversation with the blonde boy next to him.

Kinderbee had paid no mind to the boy that sat beside him, at least to begin with. However when recalling a noise he absently glanced over his shoulder away from them briefly, before quickly realizing and beaming a look back at them. ”Who, me?” He blurted out and promptly shut his book together. Well he is sitting right next to you? Anna said we should make friends while we're here, so maybe it won’t hurt to start trying now? Oh, how would it not? They had yet to properly speak to another human at this school, you know, besides the usual “excuse me” and “thanks” that came about in passing.

”Seiji Kumou is a very different name,” he remarked and shifted a little in his seat, offering something similar in the way of a very vague, if barely noticeable look of optimism. ”I do mind but I’ll tell you anyway because that’s what we do, isn’t it? I was named Kinderbee Bass.” Great! With names exchanged that meant the first part of the introduction was completed, right? The boy fell quiet momentarily when falling deeper in thought, but just as quickly he seemed to resurface and went on with, ”I was recently enrolled to this school and thus am considered what is known as a new special student; this is my first experience here.” Most students here were undoubtedly beyond their understanding. But Bass wasn’t exactly interested in getting to know every other student, was he? No. But rather only those who were in his own class and no more. That was about as much as he could handle when finding himself thrust into a new, foreign environment that was out of his comfort.

Not long after he had noticed another joining the front row only this one was female. She was sat next to Seiji, that was his name wasn’t it? Why don’t we make a note of what their names are? The boy reopened his book again and was quick to scribble down the name in question, though his handwriting wasn’t exactly the neatest. He detailed the name on a blank page and jotted a little squiggly line beside it. Once done he turned to the boy now known to be Seiji and looked just beyond him, to the girl. Almost mimicking the other he unsurely greeted with, ”Hello.” That was the right way to open conversation with, right?

Miriam ‘Mimi’ Poloskia

Mimi beamed as her primary spectator began a light, but still noticeable applause. Finally, someone who actually recognised and appreciated her talent! Maybe she’d been a little harsh in her initial assumptions about Sandy (She didn’t know what her real name was, but Sandy Slackjaw would do for now), if she had good enough taste to see her talent for what it was, she couldn’t be all bad.

"Gah...” The noise- … Well, voice sent a few shivers through Mimi’s spine, enough to make her jump a little, but her performing persona managed to help her keep a strong composure as she looked to the gangly woman that had finally decided to leave her hiding spot in the corner. Perhaps it was the juxtaposition of tones in her voice, the fact that she was so tall, or just her poor body language; but Mimi couldn’t help the underlying uncomfortable feeling she felt. Well, the best way to deal with something like that is to face it head on! If she was intimidated, she’d just have to force herself to push through it! Mimi put on a feisty expression, listening in full to Dunwich, allowing the nervous girl to get through the entirety of what she wanted to discuss before launching into conversation.

“For starter’s Dunny, I’m not a sorceress. I’m a mage. Get it right, please. It wouldn’t sound nearly as good if I went around proclaiming to be the Mimi the Sorceress doesn’t sell nearly as well as Mimi the Mage.” Miriam’s haughty, somewhat confrontational conversation style came to light, and was perhaps a little harsh towards the shy and socially inexperienced Dunwich, but in all honesty, Mimi couldn’t help it at this point. “Secondly, I don’t just do Light magic. I’m way better than that. I’m what you’d call a Master of all elements, and that includes Darkness. What you’re looking at is the prodigy who invented her own style and form of elemental magic, Ebbing Magic. Whatever spells you might know I’m more than certain that I could trump it. Perhaps if you follow me closely you might learn a trick or two.” Mimi rambled on and on, going into far too much detail. This was normal for her, but again, likely another sign of her insecurity and need to prove herself.

“And finally, you’ve either gotta have some mad powers under that hat, or you’re just plain mad. No sane person could follow that stuff without having their brain melt. I mean, sure you’re huge and all, but you’re just some cute girl like me. It’s not like you’re some disgusting monster or anything and…” Mimi paused, which was rare for her. Thinking on it, how did she even know anything about Lovecraftian Mythos? Wait, how’d she even know what it was called? She didn’t recall anyone teaching her, nor did she ever read such things. And yet… Strangely, she felt she knew bits and pieces about it. Especially the magic. Perplexing, but not unwelcome she supposed. Perhaps she was even more of a genius about magic than she thought? She certainly didn’t think she knew enough to cast something, but perhaps with some formal study… A small cough from Sandy Slackjaw drew Mimi’s attention, diverting her thoughts from Dunwich, Cthulhu, and such ancient magicks. “Not to sound like your surrogate mum or anythin', but shouldn't we get to meet this Claus guy?”

Mimi scoffed at Aleks, noting that Dunwich had started slipping away from the two… But in the wrong direction to the auditorium. “Really Sandy, you didn’t look like a nag to me. Don’t tell me you actually plan on attending that snooze-fest?” Mimi folded her arms, before turning back towards Dunwich. “Yo, Dunny, Auditorium’s behind us. If you’re skipping out count me in, otherwise you should go with Sandy here. Me and Juke have better things to spend our time on then-“ Mimi stopped again as Juke flew from her shoulder, cawing once before settling on Sandy’s shoulder. Poloskia’s reaction was immediate.
“You filthy traitor! This is the thanks I get for looking after you-you flea-ridden flapjack! You’re MY partner, don’t go sucking up to any new person looking for treats and attention!” Juke cawed mockingly at Mimi, the tiny mage moving up to try and swipe at him. Unsuccessfully missing the bird, Juke proceeded to peck at Mimi’s hand before flying free from Aleks and down the corridor towards the audiotium. “Why that infuriating ingrate! I’ll have your head on a platter Juke!” Mimi shouted out before giving chase. And with that, Mimi found herself heading towards the auditorium, hopefully with her two new compatriots in tow.

Seiji let out a quiet, short laugh. "Yes, I guess you could say that. I'm not from around here, of course." He gave a small nod as he explained, and then a slight tilt of his head as the person beside him gave his name. Kinderbee Bass? He repeated the name in his head once or twice. "You have quite the unique name yourself." He said, thinking it through several more times, to be sure that he would remember it. It was always quite embarrassing to have to ask for someone's name a second time, though it seemed perhaps Kinderbee thought the same thing, as Seiji watched him quickly scribble down something in his notebook. As Seiji glanced over at it, without trying to seem as if he was intruding on the student's personal space, he saw his name. A second quiet laugh, this one to himself, escaped his mouth, before he turned away to look up at the platform right in front of them.

Hm...I wonder if they're really going to be starting this soon. It definitely doesn't seem so. He thought to himself, watching the empty stage for a moment as if someone was going to suddenly jump out from underneath the platform. Perhaps they hadn't started yet because all of the students they needed here hadn't made it inside yet? Of course, he didn't really mind that it hadn't started or anything. He was still trying to make conversation with the stranger, or perhaps he could say acquaintance now, as he actually knew Kinderbee's name now, and had gone through a little bit of conversation with him too.

As Kinderbee seemed to look past him, Seiji turned his head as well, before he saw the female student who had found a spot beside them. His back had been facing her before now, so he of course, hadn't noticed her at all. How rude of me. I shouldn't just ignore people like that. He scolded himself somewhat, before he turned and moved himself to sit back a bit, so he wouldn't block Kinderbee's view of her. He was the one who had greeted her first, anyways, but he figured it would at least be nice of him to say something as well. For all he knew, she could be someone in his own class, here at this rather giant, but all the same impressive school.

"Ah, my apologies. I didn't see you sit down next to us before." He said, offering another small smile to her. "But, I suppose I should say hello anyways, so...hello." He looked back and forth between Kinderbee and Josephina for a moment. "Would you mind me asking if we could maybe get your name as well?" He asked, in an attempt to at least get some conversation started with her as well.

I guess this place isn't too bad. Seiji thought to himself. I hope it isn't, at least. But I won't know until we actually get out of this auditorium and into our classes.

When JJ sat down, she was quiet. Partly because she was nervous to be in the front row, in such a loud place, and partly because she saw the blonde boy and dark haired boy talking, so she didn't want to interrupt their conversation. She sat, patiently waiting for the assembly to begin, running through a mental checklist of making sure she unpacked all she needed in her dorm, when a voice broke her from her thoughts. "Hello." spoke the voice. JJ turned to face where it was coming from, "Oh, hello!"she said cheerfully, with a smile before turning to the boy right beside her, he had spoken up too. "No worries, you were in the middle of a conversation, no need to say sorry."her voice had a very cheerful tone to it, it always did. That was something about her, she was a very cheerful and happy person. Unless you were rude to her of course. "I'm Josephina Hurtado, nice to meet you both."[/color]JJ turned back to face the front of the auditorium, not sure how to continue the conversation. She was horrible at keeping conversations going, it wasn't her area of forte.

Re: THE "AGENCY" Renewed!

Hey, I'm really sorry guys, I've been really absent. I promise I'm still here (even though I still hav eyet to even submit my character) I'm currently in a play and this weekend is our show, so last week was tech week and everything was very hectic. I have had absolutely no time for anything. Please, just continue on without me, I promise I will jump in, probably on monday when the show is over, with some sort of explanation like "oh, my character was located in some sort of holding facility in australia and was being transported" or something. Thank you for your patience :)

Re: THE "AGENCY" Renewed!

I'll try to post tonight when I come back from boardgames with friends, no guarantees.

Edit: And all done. If I'm going a bit too fast/hard on the posts, let me know and I'll curtail it a bit.

Re: THE "AGENCY" Renewed!

ah! thank you tanman (´∀`*) you're way too nice.

Re: THE "AGENCY" Renewed!

Nonsense fire-horizon, it was great! Breaking into character and introducing yourself to a scene is always pretty tough, so I think you did awesome. No need for apology.

Re: THE "AGENCY" Renewed!

*flails around* my first post is always a bit lacking, i'm so sorry (╯︵╰,)

Re: THE "AGENCY" Renewed!

my goal is to start this weekend.

Re: THE "AGENCY" Renewed!

Now we'll just play the waiting game. Awesome!

Seriously, though, seconding Tanman's question.

Re: THE "AGENCY" Renewed!

So, with Chameleon's character sheet coming up soon, we're just waiting on the Beast and Saint, correct? Do we have any ETA on when we're kicking off this shindig?

Re: THE "AGENCY" Renewed!

Sorry for taking so long to finish my character. I've been a bit busy lately, but I finally have time to finish everything up. I should have my CS finished either today or tomorrow. :)

Re: THE "AGENCY" Renewed!

I look forward to roleplaying with you all too!

Re: THE "AGENCY" Renewed!

Well, I dunno about you guys, but I'm buzzin', psyched and ready to go! Yessiree. It's great seeing everyone's characters come together.

Re: THE "AGENCY" Renewed!

That’s my character finished.

I’ll edit in the theme-songs later when I get a chance. ;)

Re: THE "AGENCY" Renewed!

(EDIT: I made a small change in Seiji's appearance, just added a tattoo. I hope you don't mind)

Re: THE "AGENCY" Renewed!

Right, might do some fancying up, but other than that character's done.

Also, heya Tanman! Been awhile. :P

Re: THE "AGENCY" Renewed!

Alright, with the exception of scribbling up some more art for the profile, and maybe some last tidying up/checks with our resident Dr., my character is all done. Now to go collapse to bed.

Re: THE "AGENCY" Renewed!

Oh, this looks so interesting! I would love to join something like this. I was wondering if I could reserve The Thief?
