Description

Image

Physical Description: Only about six feet tall with brown curly hair. His eyes are a nutty brown, with depth to them that no mortal could attain. Six long wings drape from his back, 3 pairs as white as snow; though very few mortals notice them. His wings are often mistaken as clothing or missed altogether, and due to this fluidity it is sometimes hard to ascribe a single build to him. His skin is slightly tanned, a result of inhabiting Earth longer than any celestial being was meant to. Some may see him as another human in passing, unable to see the subtle differences, his dress is usually at least semi-casual.

Personality: Those who notice his inhuman nature find him infinitely patient but his temper is not to be trifled with. His abilities are advanced for his species, though not omnipotent. In times of stress his wings can be used as weapons or shields. He is calm and collected; a product of his advanced age. Yet he is sweet and understanding with most people. At times he cannot help but feel obligated to act as a force of righteous good, regardless of those days having past. Humor is not a strong suit, but he still tries to be funny which leaves him feeling lost at points. He does not talk about his fall from Grace and gets moody when it is mentioned.

Abilities: Before Falling, Helial was a Seraph; one of the highest rank of Angels, as evidenced by his six wings, and even after Falling he has retained quite a large bit of power, and is no longer bound by the rules he once had to follow.

Historical Background: A servant of Yahweh, shortly after the Fall of many angels led by the Adversary, Heliel fell of his own free will. The Celestial lived among mortals for quite some time, learning to love the dirt that Yahweh had shaped and breathed life into. Now, the fallen angel lives mostly in the Aether, absorbing the Quintessence and learning to exist without his God's love

Soon.... It would all start soon.... Heliel sat quietly, pondering how this would all play out. Earth was ridden with people from beyond the star, and... The Crowhunters... It was only a matter of time now, and he would be ready when that time came. Oh, how ready he would be.

The setting changes from sci-fifantasy to Shadow's Guardian

The demon continued to taunt him, about being a housewife in a bar, hiding like a dog with his tail between his legs, being a barmaid. However Integra had long ago learned to ignore the damnable thing, and he silently went about his work. Every so often he'd take a scan of things, search the place and take notes about customers. It was important to identify the regulars, and perhaps people who came her for more than just a drink.

There was indeed abundant technology in here, too much for a native Earthling to have procured, even with ample money. Schematics of all the technology he could find were created, broken down, and transmitted to the AI aboard his ship. Once there, the AI would break the schematics back down and rebuild them from the ground up. Countermeasures were made, and improvements were secured. He'd manufacture upgrades at a later date, perhaps sell the designs to a wealthy entrepreneur before skipping out on this crappy world.

Oh, Blackheart... Can you smell that? Of course, he couldn't smell it. He wasn't a demonic canine, after all, nor did he possess modified olfactory receptors. However his scanner did pick up what Bezalel was talking about. A celestial in a silvery grey three piece suit had walked into the bar, it's silvery eyes locked dead onto Blackheart.

The Celestial strode into the bar, taking a seat in front of Integra. However it ignored him, looking straight at the owner of the place. "Ms. Ardain, I presume?" Power radiated off the creature, a palpable aura surrounding it. Blackheart could almost make out wings on the thing, though it was obviously using glamour to hide them.

This can't be good...

Akita smiled slightly, somewhat happy that she didn't have to do all the work by herself anymore, maybe even take a break once in a while to check out how things where going in thre HQ.

Her smile faded when she saw the newcomer come in. Never seen that one around... Looks a little odd... She wasn't really surprised it knew her name, but somehow she didn't really trust that thing. She leaned against the cabinet behind her, crossing her arms over her chest.
"Yeah, That'd be me. How can I help?".

Suddenly air changed inside this little bar of little barista, and Velera did not like it. She saw a humanoid creature walking maneuvering through the tables, creature that caught Fishy’s attention, and… made Akita wary as it seemed.

Velera watched as Akita took a more comfortable, more defensive stance some would say, and confirm what the creature inquired about. The longer she saw it, the less she liked it.

The newcomer flashed a dazzling smile, a perfect one of shining ivory, and he laughed, an oddly perfect noise not unlike a bell chiming in the distance. He folded his hands together and kept a watchful eye on Akita, "I just needed to make sure I found the right hole in the wall. Us Off-worlders need to stick together, after all, isn't that right?"

The atmosphere in the bar immediately became strained, Integra doing his best to avoid attention and keeping is eyes down. Celestial beings were almost universally bad news. If it wasn't a world-wide flood it was a plethora of plagues. If it wasn't plagues it was the end of days. Never good new to see one, they almost always heralded the end of something.

Heliel's foot tapped out a simple melody on the bar's floors, after a minute or so of tapping his foot on the ground, he looked around in mock surprise. "Why... Akita, your floor sounds slightly hollow. Like there might be something large underneath us. Surely you aren't hiding the VIP section from me?" He laughed again, this time it almost sounded mocking. "Of course you wouldn't do that, i was only kidding. This is a bar, right? Can I get a glass of Chardonnay, Ms. Ardain, preferably an older vintage. Kids these days don't quite appreciate the power that comes with age." With the last sentence he made deliberate eye contact with Akita, as if it were an inside joke between the two of them.

Akita's gaze darkened. She definitely didn't like that guy so far. Who the hell is that guy? , she wondered, still not moving from where she was standing. "Well well, you figured me out.",she laughed somewhat dryly. "No, seriously. Who told you about me?". Her voice was cold and full of distrust.

"Nope, living space.", she answered the stranger's question before she turned around, searching through the cabinet. Akita took out one of the bottles and got a glass from another cabinet. She filled the glass up and placed it on the counter.

"How right you are, true strength needs time. Too bad that most people aren't aware of that, really.". She tried to lighten up a bit, giving the stranger a polite but forced smile. He knows a lot... Her eyes searched for any kind of clue that might tell her who that stranger was or what he could want. She had often been told that her eyes looked old, like she had seen a lot of pain, death and destruction. Of course she couldn't deny that, but right now her eyes seemed full of curiosity and suspicion.

Velera continued to observe the two, how creature talked with Akita. Earlier Velera tried to focus on patrons, and their needs, but now it is impossible, for Akita visibly didn’t like this creature.

Velera thought about killing this possible problem, problem for a future, but instead she walked to the two, put a hand on visitors arm, and calmly asked…

“So, you two are friends…?” She asked with a smile, all while her glare was cold - she already knew an answer to that question.

As if sensing the disturbance the Celestial brought with him, customers started hurriedly paying their tabs and starting to leave. Integra hurried from table to table, doing his best to get them out of here as soon as he could. Some simply left money on the table and sprinted out of the bar. Even those that couldn't tell what the Celestial was, could tell the atmosphere had gotten tense.

Integra's navigation system began outlining avenues of escape, and places to hide that would put him out of the Celestial's line of sight. It marked the Celestial as dangerous, urging Blackheart to move as far away from it as possible. Instead he did his best to remain inconspicuous and readied himself for action if necessary.

"Ah, yes, a living space..." Heliel took the glass off the counter, swirling it in his hand, taking a deep breath of the vintage wine. "Truly, some people age like fine wine, and others...." He made another pointed look at Akita "Others age and sour like curdled milk."

Velera put a hand on his shoulder, which Heliel calmly shrugged off. "The suit is designer, I'd appreciate you not put a barmaid's hand on it." The Celestial flashed another too perfect smile at Velera, then took a sip of his wine, as if he hadn't heard her question. "Your boss here is quite the lady. Some would call her a war hero. Other still, perhaps would accuse her of domestic terrorism. I wonder what you think of her? Or how long that perception will last..."

The bar was nearly deserted by now, the only patrons left being either too ignorant to realize the gravity of the situation or simply too far removed from this world to care. Heliel took another sip of his wine and dropping a hundred dollar bill on the counter. He stood and made his way to the exit. "I'll be sure to stop in a bit later to see how things are progressing. Then he left, leaving behind his half finished glass of wine

Velera bit lower lip, frustrated she was… creature shown narcissistic behavior – another detail that made Velera more interested in stabbing it. Behavior that maybe is its true nature or… something else is hidden underneath this shell.

"Your boss here is quite the lady. Some would call her a war hero. Other still, perhaps would accuse her of domestic terrorism. I wonder what you think of her? Or how long that perception will last..." He kept on talking, all while Velera wanted to kill him, yet she continued to listen… for now.

He visibly enjoyed his drink, while talking, but then…

I'll be sure to stop in a bit later to see how things are progressing.” Then he left, leaving behind his half-finished glass of wine, Velera waited for familiar sound of door closing, and said…

“Next time it comes here, I’m going to kill it.” She rarely killed someone who had killed no one, her victims needed to be at least presumably a culprit in one way or another – for Velera took no pleasure in killing innocent, killing a killer is the greatest feeling… in her own little opinion.

“So I really hope he killed someone before we met, for if not, it will be a pity…” She added, thinking about sudden change of atmosphere from earlier.

OOC - Geez, now that post makes her really crazy, maybe I overdid it ^^

Akita, who had stayed silent so far, let out something like a growl as soon as the stranger left. Something like flames flashed through her eyes for a momemt, before she ran her right hand trough her hair, taking a deep breath.

She poured herself a glass of Martini and took a sip. That guy meant trouble, so much was sure. He knew way to much. No one had called her a 'war hero' or anything like that in centuries. Her anger rose.

"Don't.", she said to Velera, her voice calm but forced. "There are things I need to ask him,so I'd appreciate it if you let him live for a bit.". Akita sighed, obviously stressed and troubled. She needed to go through the database.

"Can I leave you two alone for a bit? I really need a break now. Sorry that you had to witness... Whatever that was. Really don't know what that guy's problem is."
