Fairy of the Iridescent Kingdom
Vidia sat on the edge of the edge of the forest at the center of where each of the four kingdoms connect. All she wished was for this stupid war to end. There was honestly no reason for it. It's been going on so long that she no longer remembers the reason for the war to begin with, come to think of it, she wasn't even sure if anyone remembered the reason for the war.

She sat there waiting for her wizard friend, Luna to show up. This was where they always met up, just in the backyard of Vidia's small cottage. Ever since Vidia ran away from the castle, she stayed in this cottage, away from any sort of civilization because seh don't want to be reminded about the war and all of the death this stupid outbreak is causing.

The female let out a soft sigh as she placed her bare feet into the lake and sat at the edge. As she sat there she would use her magical abilities to create a water sculpture of a human couple. Humans were never the smartest of all the creatures, for most of them don't even believe that half of the so called 'mythological' creatures live on a plane just parallel for their own.

"Come on Luna, I don't want to be sitting here all evening," she mumbled to herself as she then began to start humming.

Dragon Tamer of the Draconis Kingdom
Just like every other evening, Shane was in the forest with his dragons. Feeding them, playing with them, teaching them things they need to know for combat and human interaction. He was off in his own mind all day, spending time with the dragons he calls the most important thing in his life.

The wind began to pick up just slightly, he glanced up at the sky finding that storm clouds were beginning to roll in. It was definitely going to storm tonight. "Damn," he mumbled a bit annoyed as he glanced around at the dragons circled around him. He had to find them a cave to find shelter for the night, he didn't want any of them to become sick. Sick dragons were the worst to take care of. Not only did they have more of an attitude when they were sick but every time they sneezed, fire would shoot out of their mouths. Not safe at all.

"Zero, come here boy," he stated to his best friend, an orange Chinese dragon that he had ever since Zero was born. Shane took Zero everywhere with him. "We need to get our friends to a cave," he stated before setting Zero down on the ground and began leading the small group of dragons to a cave that was no more than ten minutes from where they stood. Of course it was a bit deeper into the woods, but as long as his friends were safe, that was all that really mattered to him.

Just as they all climbed into the cave, rain began pouring so hard it was difficult for Shane to even see anything. "I guess I'll be staying here with you guys tonight," he stated with a sigh as he sat down on the ground and leaned against the edge of the cave. Just as he had, he glanced over towards a small pile of wood, it looked like someone else had taken shelter here not too long ago. The male shrugged his shoulders and glanced over at Zero, "Could you light the pile of wood over there?" Just as Shane asked, Zero walked over to the pile of wood and lit the wood.

Image The air was thick, Luna sprinted through the trees, she was panting, longing for a break. Her cape flew against the wind giving her a slight disadvantage. She turned 180 degrees and waved her wand casting a spell that would eliminate her scent. The spell wasn't strong, she was weak. She could hear the horses approaching, they were catching up to her. Luna halted sliding a little and colliding into a tree. She tried to catch her breath but now was no time for rest. She waved her wand above her head and a cloak of invisibility formed around her. She leaned back against the tree and closed her eyes, focusing on her breath trying to keep it quiet.

The horsemen arrived to where Luna stood, there were three of them. The horses bared the Pacificus coat of arms and the men on them wore evergreen capes over silver armor with their long hair braided back showing their pointy ears. The men jumped off their steeds and began investigating the area. Foolish wizard, drinking the water of the elves. Does she not know it's enchanted so that enemies who drink it become weak and their essence is amplified? one of the men chuckled. The others nodded and continued scanning the area. One of the horses walked up to Luna and huffed at her. The men all turned their attention towards the beast. Luna lifted her finger as if to silence it and she slid quietly to the ground. The horse stood still as the men approached it and glanced around. Luna cast another charm that would hide her scent, she knew it was weak and wouldn't last long but she knew it was enough for the time being. Sir, there is no one here one of the guards said finally We lost her trail, we should go notify the king. Lets send out a warrant, I'm sure she won't show her face again anytime soon anyways. The guards nodded in agreement and jumped back onto their horses and rode off.

Just as the men disappeared into the distance the charms wore off. Luna let out a huge sigh of relief and lay her head back on the moss covered bark. "Good job Luna" she mumbled to herself. Thunder sounded just then and Luna shifted her eyes towards the sky. The clouds were rolling in quickly Dammit, Vidia is going to kill me for this she thought as she got to her feet. Luna glanced around, she knew exactly where she was, she could make it to Vidia in a few minutes but the rain began to pour and her hide out was closer.

Running through the rain Luna finally reached her cave, drenched and out of breath. She could see a light flickering from the inside. Luna took out her wand and proceeded cautiously. "Who are you?" she questioned as she stood in the entrance of the cave.

Image Terell rode furiously on his steed. He had just encountered a thief who had been stealing goods from his castle. He did not tolerate such a thing and most of the time he would let the guards handle it. But this time, it was different, the thief was an unknown wizard. He hated wizards, they had stolen from his kingdom far too many times.

Terell slowed his speed and glanced around, he felt lost and the enemies scent had faded. He jumped off his steed and knelt to the ground, examining the soil. He could see small prints in the ground she was just here he thought. Terell got to his feet and paced around until he came across the tree where Luna had been. The ground had been disturbed, he could tell where she had sat. He huffed in anger and jumped back onto his horse, just the than the rain began to pour. "Perfect" he grumbled. "Damn wizard...no...this will not slow me down. I must continue my search in honor of my kingdom and catch this thief. No outsider shall get away with such an offense."

Terell jumped back onto his steed and began riding through the forest until he reached the edge where all four kingdom's met. His horse slid to a halt If she entered another kingdom, I have no right to go after her he thought feeling defeated.

Just then, Terell heard humming near by. He jumped off his horse to investigate until he came across Vidia "My lady" he said with a bow "Has a woman come by here? She wore a silver cape, had grey eyes and uncommon white hair for a woman her age. I seek her, she has taken from my kingdom and justice must be served"

Dragon Tamer of the Draconis Kingdom
As Shane sat in the cave, waiting out the storm and warming himself by the fire, he heard footsteps beginning to grow nearer and nearer to the cave, until he spotted a female's silhouette just at the entrance. "Who are you?" the only words he heard leave her mouth. In the slight light behind her, he could make out a bit of white in her strands of hair.

"Shane," he answered as he began to keep his dragon friends calm. He then added, "This must be your shelter. I apologize for intruding. Didn't think anyone was still occupying the area." After a couple moments of silence, he stood to his feet, getting ready to gather all of his friends. "I can leave," he stated as he began making his way out of the cave.

Just as he reached a close proximity to the woman, he noticed that she had been a wizard. Only time a woman that young could have white hair was if they were a wizard, it was in their genes. Only the most powerful of wizards are born with the white hair, he had to be careful not to anger her. Although he wasn't all that interested in this war, that didn't mean that she wasn't as well. Shane also had to be careful not to give too much more away. If she were working with the wizards and fairies who were interested in the war, she would definitely take this encounter for granted if she found out he was the prince of Draconis.

The still silence began to settle into Vidia's mind the more she sat there alone in the gloomy weather. Every second that ticked by she began to become more and more worried about her best friend. Though just as she was about to stand to her feet to head inside her home just a few yards away, she heard footsteps. Once Vidia was completely on her feet she spoke, "Luna?" But just as early as she had spoken, an unfamiliar, deep voice drifted through the silence.

"My lady" the male had come out from the shadows and took a bow before continuing, "Has a woman come by here? She wore a silver cape, had grey eyes and uncommon white hair for a woman her age. I seek her, she has taken from my kingdom and justice must be served" My, isn't he just the most stunning male I had ever encountered. Wait...the pointy ears, seeking to torment a wizard, he was an elf. Keep calm, act natural, Vidia thought to herself.

"I'm sorry, I'm afraid I haven't seen anyone fitting that description," she responded. The female tucked her black strands behind her ear as a bit of thunder sounded through the area. The storm was beginning to reach its peak. Maybe it would be best to wait for Luna in the cabin. If he hadn't caught her, she should be alright. Luna was a smart woman, she thought before looking to the male again.

"Sorry, but I must head home. I need to get out of this weather. I hope you find her," she stated before stepping past the man and heading in the direction towards her home, which was still sat on the border of all four kingdoms, just a couple yards away from the lake.

Image Luna examined Shane and his dragons closely and peered behind him, none of her belongings had been disturbed or so it would seem. This confused her for her bags were indeed full of riches. Hmm she sounded making her way into the cave. She glanced over at Shane and said "There is no intrusion, you are welcome to stay, the storm appears to be unkind. It is just a shelter after all, not a home. Mind you..." Luna took out her wand and waved it, the illusion of a royal bedroom appeared taking over the reality of the cave. There was a large sapphire and gold canopy bed, windows curtained in gold looked to the warm outdoors, a large patterned rug took over the majority of the area. The room was exquisite and luxurious. Luna grinned and stroke a royal blue pillow laying on a gold bench. "Beautiful isn't it? The royal it belongs to does not deserve such a treasure. He was not too happy when he discovered my intrusion. You would think a young man would be thrilled to find a girl in his room but he was not pleased. I guess the elves and the wizards are hostile no matter your relation to the war. For a palace, the guards were not to careful, mind you magic is a wonderful thing" she said and snapped her fingers making the illusion disappear.

"Your dragons, they are breath taking" she noted taking a step towards him. "I've only ever seen one in my life and well, that was by accident. He was an amazing creature, I will never forget the detail of his scales and the devilish look on his face." She reflected on the memory for a brief moment, it was not a happy one but simply an event she knew she could never forget. "Yours seem kind..."

Luna continued to examine Shane, she was cautious, something about him seemed different. She didn't care for the current war, but knew of their rivalry. She had walked away from the battle about a year ago, enough killing had been done and the debt that had burdened her had been paid. She awaited his response but thought nervously about her next move and how she should flee. She did not feel strong enough to teleport and hoped the strangers dragons would remain as gentle as they seemed.

Image Terell stared blankly at the empty space in front of him where Vidia had just stood. He turned on his heel, ran up next to her and matched her stride. "Interesting, I once heard tales that fairies loved storms. Hence why when it rains they gain advantage in the war. But that of course is just a myth isn't it?" he said whilst examining her expression.

Terell took a couple long strides and halted in front of her. He looked her up and down and grimaced. Does she seem panicked? Worried? Wizards are masters of trickery. She could surely be the wizard in disguise...but yet so much detail and perfection, wizards were good at illusions but shape shifting was unheard of he thought.

"You seem uncertain of whom I speak of and yet you called out a name before I reached you. You do not convince me and I refuse to take my leave. I agree there are many fairies and wizards within the kingdoms and yet the one I described has become rather famous. She has been terrorizing my kingdom for a couple years now, and well, an enemy as such is usually warranted in all the other kingdoms. Mind you, there is a war going on and you fairies and wizards are in alliance, shame. No matter, a bandit is a bandit" he ranted. He glanced behind him and noticed he was no longer in his kingdom, that they had crossed the border but only just. He had no power here, no matter his rulership, if a soldier walked by he would surely be taken to the palace, leaders were always hunted in enemy territories after all.

Terell refocused his attention on Vidia and said "Tell me, if you hate the weather so much, what is a fairy like yourself doing out and about? War is upon us and any guard, elf or draconis knight, roaming the border could have slit your throat and left you for dead."

Shane stopped just before he made it outside of the cave when she told him he could stay, that there was no intrusion. Then she started looking over at his dragons, he immediately began to get himself in the defending mode. If she were to harm any one of them he would lose it. After a couple moments the cave appeared as a beautiful royal room. "Yes, it is beautiful," he stated just as she made the room magically disappear. The woman was a wizard, there was no other race he knew of that was as powerful as a wizard with their magical abilities.

Shane was held off guard when she started talking about how gorgeous his dragons were. She seemed to be a bit calm and friendly, so he eventually calmed himself down and stepped back into the cave. "This one here is Zero, he's my personal dragon, I've had him since I was a young boy." he stated, speaking about the orange Chinese dragon that was wrapped around his neck like a scarf. "These two are Apollo and Daisy, they're a couple dragons I'm training for this stupid war," he added.

Finally he replaced himself back where he was sitting when Luna had originally stepped into the cave. He let out a sigh as he felt the heat radiating from the fire. It was a pretty cold night, but if he kept near this fire, he was going to be alright. "Do you live out here? By yourself?" he questioned, feeling a bit concerned about her. The woods was definitely no place for a woman by herself, especially during the war, no matter how powerful they were. It's dangerous enough as it is for males to be on their own.

Vidia sighed when she noticed that this male had decided to follow her. Then he started making comments about not believing her. She glanced over at him as she continued to walk, "Well, if you must know. Yes, I was waiting for someone, but I assure you it's not the same person you were looking for. Luna wouldn't get into mischief like that," she stated. Of course she knew Luna would, but she couldn't make it known that she knew the woman. If he found out she would be held accountable for lying to him about a criminal if she were to every take one step onto his land.

"As for the reason I want to get out of the weather, it's because I don't like being caught in it. Trust me, I do enjoy the rain, but not in the way many other fairies do," she added. Honestly Vidia couldn't seem to understand why any of this was his business to begin with. The male was now on fairy property and if she really wanted to she had a way to summon the knights, but she wasn't going to do that if she didn't have to. The man was just starting to annoy her with all of these personal questions he had no right asking.

Finally she arrived at her cabin and turned toward him when she reached the door. "Now, if you'd allow me, I'd like to go inside and be left to myself. But if you insist on staying, feel free to come inside, just don't expect me to be very entertaining," Vidia said before turning on her heels and stepped inside her home before he had a chance to say anything back to her. At this point, she didn't care how rude she sounded, she wasn't on his territory so there wasn't anything he could do about it. Besides, Vidia was never the kind of woman to hide how she feels about things. If someone can't handle the truth and her not sugar coating everything she says, then that's their problem, not her's.

Image Luna leaned against the cold stone wall of the cave and smiled as Shane spoke of his dragons "How fascinating, I've always wanted a dragon but as you know wizards and dragons do not mix well”

She glanced around at the cave as he questioned her living arrangements "Temporarily, it's a nice hide out considering I'm on the run. Oddly enough elves do not come to this area often, unfortunately I will need to find another resting area for if a dragon tamer can find it by accident well anyone can" she said slightly teasing.

Luna pushed herself off the wall and wandered to the entrance of the cave, she peeked outside and noticed that the storm had ceased. She listened closely awaiting a call from Vidia but none came. She looked back at the stranger invading her home, ready to tell him the storm had stopped and he could make it back to wherever he came from safe and sound. However, just as she was about to say so, she heard a disturbing noise in the distance. It sounded like an explosion followed by an orchestra of screams, cries, commands and galloping.

Luna took a step outside of the cave and glanced to her sides, no one and nothing was in sight, but fear struck her heart. She hoped Vidia was okay, if someone from the elven kingdom had found her and noticed…Ooh no she thought in a panic. She was ready to bolt, to run towards the cries in the distance but a thought crossed her mind, stopping her from doing so.

She turned on her heel and faced the dragon tamer, fury pulsed through her veins. Was he sent here by the elves? Their kind were alliances after all. Was he here to end her? To distract her so that they may hurt Vidia?

Electricity began to flicker at her fingertips, her eyes slowly turning dark. ”Who sent you?”

Image Terell squinted his eyes at her ready to protest or say something witty. He was about to turn on his heel and be on his way when he heard someone approaching. It sounded like dual horses, knights were coming and he was sure they were not from his kingdom. Terell stood frozen for a moment and argued with himself, he couldn't decide whether he should flee or just follow the strange fairy.

After several moments of being indecisive, he ran out of time. The knights were in sight, well in sight for him, elves had the ability to see clear details of items from impossible distances. He glanced back inside at the cabin and finally caved, and walked in behind the fairy.

The scent of the cabin was captivating and the style was simple but breathtaking. He examined all her little trinkets in awe, he was completely intrigued. The sight of his large castle bored him, it was luxurious but over the top, Terell always admired the simple life. "Your home, it's absolutely beautiful" he said in a soft tone. He felt his guard diminish which was odd considering he was in the presence of a fairy. Truth be told Terell did not like the fairies, they were at war for a reason. He found them annoying and repulsive but something about this stranger made him think differently. He thought her beautiful and intriguing, he wanted to get to know her...Am I under some sort of spell? he concluded unable to make sense of his emotions.

Just as he was about to speak he heard something horrific, something that sounded like an explosion followed by the calls of war. Terell stiffened, the sound was near. Perhaps they caught the bandit he thought. He took a step back closer to the door and pondered leaving, he was conflicted, he knew he had to go for this was his war after all.
