However, it wasn't long before their lap of luxury lives were interrupted and changed forever. A new mean girl had arisen, but avoiding eye contact in the school halls and jetting far away for the summer wouldn't keep this one at bay. No, she followed the most infamous rich kids wherever they went, and already seemed to know far too much about their personal lives even before her first post. Stealing the alias 'Gossip Girl' from her predecessor, this new internet stalker won't be so easily found out.
Now it's the start of a new semester and school is well and truly back in session. Will these teens be able to handle the stress of school life as well as attempting to keep their dark pasts hidden from this unknown copycat?

( I ) Although there are only eight slots available currently, if this RP gets enough interest, I am happy to open more (so long as the gender ratio stays somewhat even).
( II ) Follow RPG's rules, no godmodding, mary-sues - you get the idea.
( III ) This will follow adult themes, including sexual content and drinking, so please be aware of that before you reserve a character.
( IV ) For reservations, I'll need a FC, hex, their role & a couple lines on their backstory. Without all of these I will not accept your reservation.
( V ) Have fun & stay active! I'd hate for this to die before it really gets going.

'Good morning Upper East Side, I hope you've all had a good rest because this year is gonna filled with more drama and chaos than any other. I'll make sure of that.
The first day back to school means those first impressions are going to be crucial. No matter how long you may have been at the school, you better bring your a game or risk being shot right down the social ladder. Let's see if Queen Bee Clara Chase can keep her crown or if one of her minions will finally be able to claw their way to the top. Speaking of, what's a Queen without her King? Oh wait, she doesn't have one. Seems like no one can stand Queen Bee-atch long enough, not even to get in her pants. Well, unless playboy Dante Lawson can finally find his way into the heart of the one girl at school he hasn't, hm, gotten friendly with.
And what about the minions, seems like pretty Primrose Reynolds has found herself a man in new money - Tristan Dupond - I guess we'll have to wait to find out if he'll ever love her as much as she loves herself. Oh, and how could I forget the resident 'bad bitch' Nurys Johnson, even she's managed to snag herself a desperate cool girl wannabe in Moriah Goldman. Seems like Clara really is the only one sleeping on her own these days, can you believe it? The Queen being outdone by her servants and enemies. How the mighty have fallen.
All this gossip and more has gotten me so excited for the start of this term, and the prospect of spilling all your dirty little secrets is exactly what keeps me going. The bitch is back.
You know you love me,
xoxo gossip girl.'

"-ara? Clara? Are you listening to me?" Clara shook herself out of her thoughts at the sound of her favorite, and only, cousin's voice. Audrey has been one of Clara's few sources of joy since she moved in with her mother. The two girls were more like sisters than cousins.
"Sorry, ducky. You have my full attention." Clara said fondly.
"Can we go to the bakery before school? I want a parfait."
"Not today. We have to be at school early. As the Queens of Constance High School and Elementary, we must be on time. We can't leave our fellow students waiting." Plus, Clara needed to be there to overlook the welcome back assembly. Nothing at school would succeed without her seal of approval. The chauffer of the Chase family's limo was taking his time getting the girls to school. Clara would've urged him to hurry if Audrey didn't speak up.
"But I want a parfait! I don't care about being Queen."
"I'll make you a deal. We'll get parfaits after school and we'll go shop at the Lilly Pulitzer shop this weekend if you stop asking."
It was a sweet deal for the younger girl since they normally jet off to a fashion show on the weekends, plus they haven't been to Lilly in a while. Clara loved it since she needed a new outfit. Clara's cousin stewed over it in thought, but Clara knew she had her convinced.
"Deal."
~
After walking Audrey to her classroom, Audrey went straight for her side of the school. Students were already arriving and it wasn't long before Clara had two girls on either side of her. Madison Ulthbrooks and Tessa Andrews are Clara's most important followers. Madison's father is wealthy oil baron with close ties to the Rockefeller family. Her mother is trainer for Olympic swimmers, highly sought out all over the country. She's well connected and intelligent, but knows better than to try to take Clara's place at the top of the academic circle. Tessa comes from a family of secrets. Her father is head of the CIA while her mother handles publicity for high level politicians. Tessa is Clara's eyes and ears for rumors going around in Constance. Both girls have been Clara's 'friends' since middle school after Clara proved herself to be the top predator. While she does know Madison plans to overthrow her, she knows Tessa wouldn't dare join her cause. Clara saved what little reputation Tessa had left after her boyfriend publically dumped her, so she's loyal to Clara. Their friendship may not be true, but Clara reminds the girls the perks of being on her good side.
Before going to the gymnasium to check on the assembly, Clara pulled out her phone to text her friends, well more real friends than her two followers. She debated on texting Willow, but decided it was for the best. She could play off their 'friendship' better with her two followers with her.
To: Penelope
Please tell me you'll be here soon! I need my bestie
To: Primrose
Hey hey! Are you on your way?
To: Willow
The girls and I are helping with assembly. Want to join in?

It didn't take long for him to get to school. He looked up at the building, secretly wishing it would explode in a blaze of fire. He didn't care about this place or this assembly the school was so excited for. He noticed the Queen Bitch and her coattails following behind her. The school was so stereotypical it was sickening. Luckily, she didn't notice him, but then again she didn't notice 'trash,' her affectionate nickname for Tristan, like him. He could feel the student's eyes on him as Tristan went to his locker. When he called out Clara for being who she is, everyone kept their distance, not wanting ton invoke her wrath. He understood, but that didn't mean it didn't suck. Luckily, he had the Johnson kids, Liam, and the love of his life to keep him from going to crazy. Primrose was the best thing he got out of his dumb school, but even with her on his arm, people still treated him like the plague. Not that, that was his reason for dating her. She was almost like a guardian angel in his life, keeping him grounded. Though he wouldn't admit, he missed her. Pulling out his phone, since the school couldn't take it away because school hadn't started, Tristan sent a message to Prim, as well as his other friends.

Sighing at the thought of getting up and ready for the day, Willow wished to stay in bed, tucked under a mountain of duvets, for the rest of her days. But alas, just as she was about to decidedly blow off school, Willow's alarm screeches her out of her sleepy morning fog and into reality. Kicking off her covers, Willow rolls out of bed with an annoyed grunt and trudges her way down the stairs of her and her father's apartment, into the kitchen.
Gabriel was already up and about to leave as Willow waltzed in, half her hair sticking up from the peculiar sleeping positions she always manages to get herself into. "Buenos dias angel," Her father smiles, walking over to kiss Willow's forehead. "Ugh." Is her only response, but she still leans into her father, wrapping her arms around his waist.
"You need to hurry if you don't want to be late for school." Gabriel warns her, as Willow lets him go and moves on to toasting some bread. "I have meetings all day so I'll be working late tonight - try and get someone to come over after school," He continues "I don't like you being all alone in this big apartment." Gabriel always was the one to worry about Willow. It wasn't like her mother was going to, so Gabriel took on the responsibilities of both parents, which often overwhelmed him.
Biting into some toast, Willow turns to her father and begins speaking, mouth still full. "I'm fine papá, you know I'm not a baby anymore." Gabriel nods, but his face still holds that worried look he gets all too often when he thinks about Willow being on her own. Rolling her eyes, Willow resigns, "But fine, I'll ask Lily if she's free, ok?"
Immediately perking up, Gabriel smiles at Willow as he heads for the door, "Good idea, I like that girl she's a good influence," there's a pause, as if Gabriel is debating whether to say the next sentence or not, "Not like that Clara, I still don't understand why you hang out with her." Will he ever leave is all Willow can think as she replies, "Nice to know papá - bye now!" And with that, he's finally gone.
Willow takes a deep breath, releasing the air slowly as she relaxes into the sweet silence of the autumn morning. Her eyes flick over to the balcony, large glass windows bring in the warm light of the rising sun, washing over her face with a yellow light. For such a beautiful morning, Willow knew the rest of the day would only be grim.
It takes the girl all of thirty minutes to ready herself for the day ahead. After a quick shower, she threw on a semi-decent outfit, hoping the skirt would fit Constance's uniform rules well enough. As she grabs her pre-packed backpack, Willow's phone vibrates with an incoming message. It's Clara. Nibbling on her bottom lip, Willow shoots back a response.
I'm on my way to school now, see you soon.
Running her fingers through her wavy hair, Willow then slicks on a bit of lipbalm before she heads for the door, going down in the elevator and out the front entrance, smiling sweetly at the doorman as she passes and finally out into the cool air. The breeze slaps Willow in the face and immediately a shiver runs down her spine. Hurriedly heading for her car, Willow is relieved to be out of the cold once she pulls the door shut behind her. Surely it would warm up as the days progressed, but autumn mornings were always chilly.
As she sat, attempting to warm up her cheeks by rubbing them with her palms, Willow decided to send that text to Lily. She'd never lie to her father, and if Willow had said she'd invite Lily round, then she would.
Heya, are you free after school? I was thinking we could grab some hot chocolates or whatever :-)
Sending off her second text of the day, Willow puts her car keys into the ignition and sets off for school, curious as to what kind of 'help' Clara and her followers were providing for today's welcome back assembly.

"You." Pant. "Ain't." Pant. "Shit."
Nurys only rolled her eyes behind her oversized hippie sunglasses with a very blatant you're-an-idiot vibe coming from the shaking of her head. "Bet ya won't not let me set yo alarm in the morning now," she shot back and took another sip of her drink and began walking, the sound of the Alaïa cut-out heels clicking along the asphalt. Honestly, Nurys felt as if she was owed a reward. She hadn't protested
Ivan, on the other hand, had promptly fallen back asleep once his sister's footsteps had retreated. His insomnia happened to be pretty bad last night and while Nurys probably could have offered something, he hated bothering her on the good nights. By the time it had occurred to him that Nurys' bedroom was too quiet, Ivan's real alarm had gone off as the final warning that they needed to be on the walking out the door. Which meant that he had to speed through a wash-up and teeth-brushing ritual and throw on the first set of uniform he could find. Luckily, his bag was packed, but he had only enough time to receive the disapproving look from Michelle, an amused giggle from Katiana who had watched him bounce around trying to get his feet into his shoes, and two traveler mugs of coffee. He couldn't even grab a muffin off of the counter.
"You still ain't shit." He told his sister when his breathing was more regulated and he had officially fallen in line with her, taking a few large drinks of his own coffee. His required more sugar and milk, but it was a welcome container of diabetes to him. He needed the extra pep in his step. Without warning, a bundle wrapped in layers of paper towel was dangled in his face by his sister's manicured hand. He glanced at her face to see a raised eyebrow above the left eye lens.
"You sure about that?" Nurys inquired, the corner of her mouth lifting in amusement as she playfully kept the warm bundle just out of her brother's reach. Finally, Ivan sighed, giving her a withering glare before conceding. "Fine, fine. You ain't ain't shit...which isn't even English, but whatever. Gimme," he said and Nurys grinned, releasing her gift. "I am the shit," she corrected. "Never forget that, baby boy." Ivan rolled his eyes as he unraveled his prize, revealing a bacon-and-cheesy-scrambled-egg-sandwich that she had put on toast with cream cheese and jelly. He only offered a "yeah, yeah, yeah" before digging in. Nurys tossed him a smug look and pulled out her phone to see who had messaged her and check who responded to the Gossip Girl blog. It never failed that one idiot would reply to it as if their being mad was going to change what was said, and then there would be an entire chain of that one person getting slammed. Nurys liked having a healthy laugh before she went and became the bane of half of her teachers' existence.

"You a'ight?" So wrapped up in finishing what tasted like the most delicious breakfast sandwich ever to his taste buds since Ivan had been so hungry, Ivan had almost missed his sister's question. He had honestly believed her to be fully engrossed in her phone, perhaps texting Moriah now that they had gotten close to the school. But, regardless of her eyes being primarily on her phone and where they were headed - the two schools looming before them at least two blocks ahead - Ivan felt the probing of his sister's attention with a twitch of discomfort. "Yeah, I-I'm fine," he replied and it was then that Nurys actually looked at him. Ivan didn't like the skepticism and judgement he saw in her eyes, even behind her sunglasses. "Reese, I'm good, ok? I'm good. Bad night, we've both had 'em. Nothin' big." Her face was blank, but her skepticism was blatant and Ivan rolled his eyes, hands up in surrender. "Not doin' this right now, so I'm gonna go wait for Liam real quick. See you in a bit." It was only a beat later that Ivan followed up with, "And don't start nothin' before the bell rings," while texting Liam where he was going to be. It never failed that his friend wanted vanilla iced coffee and while the coffee at their place was always a touch too strong for Liam, the Starbucks across the street from their school always did just fine.

"No promises," Nurys sing-songed, but let him walk across the street without argument. It was too early for her to do it anyway. It didn't mean she was going to let it go. Never let it be said that Nurys was

Whiskey colored eyes would sit there worry, crossing the face of the boy they belonged to. An audible sigh would escape the boy's lips, as he sat there staring at the screen. His chocolate brown hair would rest on his face as he winced to the voice of his adoptive-father/uncle. "William Alexander Summers, you are going to be late, get ready! We leave in an hour, and I'm making parfaits." the words exited the older man's mouth, and Liam would jump up and rush around the room to find his uniform, and head to the bathroom for a shower. Getting stripped, and standing in the scalding water for fifteen minutes, taking care of things. He would step out, and hear his phone buzz twice.

Yes, see, Liam had a slight issue when it came to comics. He named most of his contacts after specific heroes, or things he liked. Ivan was Kid Flash, for being the somewhat impulsive. Tristan was Superboy, due to their striking similarities. Liam often liked to think of himself as Robin, or possibly Aqualad. Shaking his head out of his thoughts, he would send quick responses before sliding down the stairs with his bag in his hand.

As he reached downstairs, he would grab his ukelele case and place it on his shoulder with his school-bag. He would rush into the kitchen, seemingly in a hurry. "Whoa, where's the rush sport? A fire?" his uncle/dad questioned as he stood at the counter mixing some yogurt with berries. The male would let out a laugh and speak "Nah, gotta meet Van at Starbucks. Tell Pops I love him, love you too Dad. Gotta go, don't wanna be late for the first day back at hell." the male let out a laugh and kissed the man's forehead, and he would walk out to his car and would get in. His dark amber eyes would focus on his phone, hoping from a text from a person, he knew it wouldn't come from. Hitting his radio playlist, playing a T.O.P song, he would begin his morning drive to Starbucks.
As thirteen minutes passed, he would pull up in the parking-lot and would get out spotting Ivan, and would walk up to him, and began to speak. "H-How was your weekend?" the boy managed to stammer out. His face slightly red, he was more comfortable with Ivan, but sometimes a stammer would escape his lips.

Now, she was aware that heels weren't allowed, but that's never stopped her before. Sliding them onto her feet to give herself that much needed height boost, Prim strutted over to the mirror, checking over herself until her brother came and told her to get into the car. The drive to school gave her the opportunity to go through her phone and check her messages and social medias.
Good Morning, gorgeous. Have you made your way to school yet?
Hey hey! Are you on your way?
I'm on my way now, babe. Fancy going for coffee or something after school? I missed you.
Yeah, I'm literally around the corner. See you soon.
You coming in today? Or are you too busy recovering from a hangover?
The car pulled up outside of school, and Primrose looked out of it with a small groan. Noah offered his encouraging world, babbling on about creativity, or something like that. "Yeah, yeah, I know. I'll walk home or get a cab tonight, okay?" After sliding out of the car, she hurriedly walked into the school and towards her locker to dump her emergency makeup bag that was stashed away in her backpack. Her mind went back to the Gossip Girl post, but she quickly shook it off. I'm in for one hell of a day... She thought to herself.

the transfer student
"Well, I've been living like a homebody for the past week, so I can't say." Akio left his computer to check the fridge, wincing at the reminder of how little he went out since he arrived in the US. One of the philosophies Akio lived by was, "rich people stay rich by living like they're broke," and anybody who saw his living conditions would be able to vouch for that.
"Nishimura Akio," Daiki chided through the computer. "If Father sends you to live by yourself, the least you could do is try to be responsible for your own wellbeing."
Akio snorted quietly. "You guys are one to talk!" he called, looking through the cupboards to see if he had any snacks he could eat for breakfast. Nope, nothing. Damn. "Yongseok-san may be the badass rapping maknae who could probably do literally anything like a trained professional, but you said it yourself, he can't take care of himself."
"Excuse me?!" said maknae screeched in the background, butting into the siblings' conversation with his fluent Japanese. "Akio-kun, I may be the maknae of this godforsaken group, but you're still younger than me by two years! Respect your elders!"
"I meant no disrespect," Akio justified. He checked his phone, scoffing in amusement at the new blog post notification. "There's this person who keeps writing blog posts about the local Upper East Side residents. They just directly insulted a few of the more popular students; I bet they're blowing their tops right now. It's amusingly immature." Akio tucked his phone in his pant pocket. "I have to leave if I want to make it to school on time. Keep writing that new album, Aniki. See you later, Yongseok-san."
I hope you're more professional in public than you are right now, little bastard, Takenaka Kanon's voice mocked Akio in his head.
"Happy early birthday. We'll see you when we tour America in three months," Yongseok called out absentmindedly, his typical (unintentionally) sarcastic tone in place, just as Daiki turned off Skype. Akio whipped his head around, staring at his dark computer screen. What?
Akio shook his head, grabbing his things and peering at his reflection in the mirror as he headed out the door. Yongseok was like that; as the other members said, it was all part of his charm.
Akio entered an American Starbucks for the first time in his life, smiling at the woman taking his order as he quickly ordered a tall green tea latte. He probably could've chose an option with less calories, he winced to himself in hindsight, staring at his feet as he waited for his order. Thankfully, Akio lived within walking distance of his new school; not being able to drive was a bitch. The Japanese boy was aware of the two other boys in the store who looked around his age; they probably went to St. Jude's as well, judging by their attire.
She heard the paper crinkle and her father's still-accented voice. "Lizzie, darling, time to get your shoes on." Max folded his paper and placed it across his place at the table before he rose from his seat. Lizzie skipped over to the table and handed Penelope her shoes. "Do you want some help?"
Lizzie nodded and pulled a chair around to sit in front of Penelope. She propped her feet up on her big sister's lap. "Ah yes, because a little Countess never puts her own shoes on, does she? No, she gets her older, and wiser sister to do it for her." Penelope tied the second lace and patted Lizzie's feet. Lizzie slid from her seat and hugged Penelope.
"Thank you.
Penelope kissed her sister's cheek. "No problem. Have a good day at school sweetheart."
Lizzie skipped over to Max and took his hand. "Will you be alright dropping Johnathon off as well? he asked Penelope.
She nodded in response, having taken another sip of her tea. She checked her phone. There were already a few notifications. "We need to go now anyway. Johnathon?" she called her brother. She tied her coat at the waist and slid her bag onto her arm. She walked down to the foyer with her brother. High schoolers were lingering in the lobby, waiting for their drivers. They spotted Sam's car at the front of the building and a few cameras. Penelope rolled her eyes. Apparently, not even the first day of school was off limits. "Just ignore them, John, they won't hurt us."
Until recently, Johnathon had used a different entrance to avoid the camera. Knowing that it would be impossible to shelter him forever, Max had slowly been loosening the reigns he kept on Johnathon. Penelope put her arm around Johnathon and ushered him across the street to the car, where Samuel had the door open for them. She let him in first and slid in after him. Once they were safely in the car, away from the snapping cameras, Penelope checked her notifications. Her eyes scanned over the Gossip Girl blast. Her name wasn't in it. Not yet. But Clara's was, very prominently. "It might be a good year to keep out of trouble, John. Apparently, dearly beloved Gossip Girl is back."
Will be 5 max. Please don't do anything rash.
The car pulled up outside the school and Penelope and Johnathon climbed out. Penelope swept a bit of lint from the shoulder of his blazer. "Now, behave yourself. I'll meet you in the courtyard at lunchtime ok? If anything happens, call me, ok? And don't worry. You're gonna have a blast."
"You sound like mom."
"And that's no bad thing. Now go, before you're late."
Penelope saw him through the gates of St Jude's before she headed through the gates of Constance. Her low heels clicked on the hallway floor. She saw Madison's flame-red hair in the crowd. Madison was rarely more than two steps behind Clara. Penelope weaved through the crowd. She was taller than a lot of the girls in Constance, but that was no bad thing. It made it easier to find her friends. She placed a gentle hand on Clara's shoulder when she had caught up with the brunette. "Please tell me you've remembered to breathe since you read the blast."

"If only," came Moriah's reply as she picked up her phone off the table and swiped right to close the Gossip Girl notification that had just appeared on her phone. Moriah's before the first day of school weekend had been one of relaxation and fun. She hadn't spoken to, texted or seen any of her friends or her girlfriend since Thursday. She had spent the morning and afternoon with Clara and her family as her aunts who had flown in that morning adored the Queen Bee almost as much as Jane, who often referred to Clara as her second daughter. That evening was spent moving some of her things and Kashmir to her mother's place as she would be spending the weekend there and that night she had gone to Brooklyn and spent the night with Nurys just to spend some quality time with her girlfriend before dropping off the grid for the next couple of days. Since Friday Moriah had been strictly on family time which was something she had admittedly missed. Between both of her aunts living in different time zones and her mother dividing a majority of her time between her business and taking care of her ailing older brother—Moriah didn't see much of her family nowadays although some of the blame was on her own her shoulders as she hadn't been putting in much effort to change that.
Witnessing her uncle health progressively worsening was something that Moriah found harder to stomach than the big breakfast she had just devoured. She had no issue meeting up with her mother in the city and hanging out but that was about all she was willing to do. However, her aunts flying in made things different. When the whole family was all together it made things for Moriah a bit easier. Yes, her uncle Allan was still in stage four of his Parkinson’s disease but having everyone together just seemed to make him happier and for little moments here and there it was like Moriah could forget that he was suffering and they could all just be content and in sync as a family which was harder to do when it was just her mother, her uncle and herself.
Over the last couple of days, Moriah had been blissfully happy just being pampered by her family. She and the most important women in her life had spent all of Friday shopping until they dropped early Saturday morning. After waking late that evening the Goldman women had spent the day coddling her uncle Allan. They had watched the man's favorite movies and had actually gone out of their way to cook his favorite meals, which in every attempt the meals never came out right and they just ended up ordering in, but, the point is they attempted. Sunday was an all-day spa day at Moriah's favorite spa—the Cornelia Spa at The Surrey. Now, it was currently Monday morning and while she was at school and her mother work, her aunts would be flying back to their respective homes which meant Moriah wouldn't be seeing them for a couple of weeks which was fine. With school starting up again she would need time to readjust to being back on schedule and no longer being on her own time.
"I should get going. I'm supposed to be at Constance right now helping Clara with the assembly." Moriah said as she finished reading the text that Nurys had sent her. Amy nodded in response to her niece and immediately starting looking for their waiter so they could settle the bill. "Relax Amy, we've still got a bit of time left before we have to catch our flights. Unless Jane has somewhere to be—I say we stay here for a bit longer. Reiah I love you," her aunt Diane said as she got up from her seat and walked over to her niece and wrapping her arms around the girl in a tight but loving hug. Kissing the top of the girl's head she continued saying, "I hope you have a fabulous first day and you be sure to tell Carebear that we love her and we'll be seeing you both soon." Moriah smiled getting up from her seat, "I can't guarantee the day but I will definitely pass along the message to Clarie. If I'm lucky your loving words will keep her from being too pissed about me being late," Moriah said with a giggle as she walked over to mother and embraced the woman placing a kiss on her cheek before doing the same with her aunt Amy. "I love you guys. I'll come over after school to pick up Kash from your place," she said directing the last sentence to her mother as she got her coat off the back of her chair and started bracing herself for the coolness of the outside as she zipped up. As her family said their I love yous to her Moriah blew them all a kiss as she took her leave putting some extra pep in her step.
Once she outside and in her car, she sent out a text to Nurys:
To: Reese Pieces
don't h8 me bt M runN late! Breakfast w d famLe ran a bit longer thN it wz spos 2 bt M on my way nw & I'll b CN U s%n. luv yous! Don't b mad!
She considered sending a text to Clara but her bestie hadn't yet texted or called her that morning which between the assembly and the Gossip Girl blast that while she hadn't bothered to read she was sure Clara would and did didn't really surprise her. Figuring she was better off she just to the school as soon as possible she skipped the text and threw the car into drive hoping that she wouldn't have missed out on helping with the assembly entirely by the time she got to Constance.

He shot off a quick text to Liam, saying thanks for the offer but he didn't want anything. He also made sure to mention to get here and bring the Johnsons too. A quick flash of blonde hair was enough to catch his attention. The boy's smile grew, recognizing those locks anywhere. The appearance of another, much less important woman in front of Tristan was not what he needed this morning.
"Mr. Dupond, I'm sure you aware of the school's dress code on school attire. Young men must wear-""Navy blazers, nothing else. I've heard this a million times already."
Mrs. Maxwell was one of many teachers at St. Jude's, but she always made a point to single out Tristan. He didn't do anything hundreds of students before him had. So he didn't care for her history class, it wasn't a subject he enjoyed. Tristan didn't know the true reason until a few weeks into school, freshman year. Apparently, she had been trying to date Tristan's step-father, but he lost interest in. When Mrs. Maxwell learned the news, she was angry. Tristan guessed maybe that had something to do with why she hates him so much. It wasn't his fault she couldn't keep a man.
"If you are aware of the rules then why are you breaking them?"
"Maybe because I don't care and it's a dumb rule. At least I'm wearing a jacket. I don't see you getting onto anyone else about that."
"Do I need to call your parents? Again."
"You know what? Your excuse of trying to get to Aaron through me is pathetic. You can gladly take him from us, but don't be a bitch to me, because you couldn't hold onto him in the first place."

Her phone buzzed, and Clara was quick to check it. Primrose and Willow would be on their way. Now, she needed Dante, Penelope, and Sam. Penelope's absence was quickly solved when Clara felt a gentle hand on her shoulder.
"Please tell me you've remembered to breathe since you read the blast."
"My breathing has been perfect. All of it put into managing this assembly. I'm glad to see you got here!"
Clara gave the girl a quick side hug before telling one of the freshman to move the lemon squares next to the cookies. Didn't she memorize the food table chart? Useless. Madison was sent to drinks for all the girls and finally returned. It was Madison's turn to go get coffee, but Clara knew the girl was displeased. Truthfully, it wasn't even her turn. Clara overheard a rumor being spread about her and some hookup she had with some older guy. The rumor was clearly false, not backed by any evidence. Clara didn't have any proof on who spread it, but Madison has always had a thing for gossip. Therefore, she was on coffee duty. It was one of the more menial tasks Clara gave to her followers.
"I got the coffee, Clara. One vanilla latte for Penelope and a vanilla bean Frappuccino with raspberry syrup for you."
"You took longer than normal. I hope some older guy wasn't distracting you." While Madison was skilled at a poker face, the faint blush on her neck told Clara everything she needed to know. Madison was not to be trusted. "Thank you. Now, go get my books. It's your turn to carry them today." The red haired girl didn't reply before leaving. Clara smiled mischievously at Penelope before taking a drink of her coffee. "By the way, have you heard from Dante or Sam? I haven't seen them yet."

"Would'a been better if Nury hadn't decided to teach Kat how to fight with her only target being me. I never knew fending off a three year old would be so hard, but Kat's vicious. Never believe her when she starts throwing herself at you and cooing your name. It's all a lie," Ivan answered easily, not at all put off by Liam's occasional antics. It came with the territory and just like Ivan didn't like getting called out on his occasional quirks, he knew Liam wouldn't either. Nurys would do it because she's an ass and thought Liam's currently red-faced visage was absolutely adorable and pick-a-ble-with. Ivan just saw it was a regular. Shaking his head, Ivan shot back, "How about yours? You get in line yet?"

With one last survey of the room, Sam headed to the the bathroom for his shower. After about 10 minutes, he stepped out into his now steamed up bathroom, dried off, and pulled out one of his several shirts to go with his uniform. He didn't really bother with his hair, just shaking it around with his hand and letting it fall. He didn't have anyone to impress at school. They all worshipped him anyway. Sam threw on his signature scarf and headed back into the main room for a morning drink. Picking up his phone, he realized that what had initially woke him up was a notification from Gossip Girl. To his surprise, he wasn't mentioned. Not that he cared. Sam enjoyed the drama that the reborn mystery gossip line brought the teens of the Upper Eastside. He was a little bothered by what Gossip Girl had said about Clara though. Sam had already started to feel Clara breathing down his neck. He knew that in here eyes the two of them were supposed to date due to social statuses. This wouldn't help matters. It isn't like Sam doesn't like Clara. She's hot. They get along. He knows her and her family well. It would reflect well on him. It's just Sam doesn't know if he is in the mood to settle down, and he wouldn't want to hurt someone he actually cares about. Plus, there's always been this unsaid thing between her and Dante... speaking of Dante. Sam glanced back down at his phone to send his best friend a text, along with a couple others.
I've got a saucy Latino in my bed if you want to stop by and make a pass. Either way, you better be at school on time.
To: Prim
You at school yet? I'm gonna try and get there at least a few minutes early to help in the auditorium. It's either that or hear about how lazy I am from Clara...
To: Driver
Pick me up a vanilla bean frap from Starbucks will ya? See you in 20. Don't be late.
Sam put back the last few sips of his drink in one gulp, took one more glance at his overnight guest, and head out the door. His driver was right on time. Sam reread the Gossip Girl post on the short drive to school, and he arrived at 8 on the dot. It took him about 5 minutes to walk to the gymnasium. On his way there he surveyed the new faces... especially the freshman girls. He came away generally unimpressed, although not every girl was a duckling. As he approached the doors of the gym, Sam could already hear Clara buzzing around the place way too fast for her own good. He smirked as he approached her from behind, catching the tail end of her question to Penelope. "By the way, have you heard from Dante or Sam? I haven't seen them yet."
Sam tapped Clara on the shoulder softly. "Speak of the devil, and he shall appear." He threw his best mischievous smile her way.

Looking at his attire, he went to St. Judes.....but Liam had never seen the male before. Staring a bit too long, the male turned red and looked back towards Ivan. Motioning for them to get in his car, and drive to the school. He would wave slightly at the new looking boy, and smile, before walking out.

As luck would have it, Nurys had sent the text out at the right time because just as it was delivered, a call came through from a rather interesting individual. With a raised eyebrow, Nurys swiped the call button and brought the device to her ear, answering with a teasing, "And I was wondering when I was gonna get a call from my oh so secret lover."
"Nurys..." Henry Reynolds' voice reached in a deep, annoyed timbre and Nurys grinned.
"I know, I know." Nurys then proceeded to mock a majority of his prior sayings, trying but notably failing to keep the laughter out of her voice. "'That's ridiculously inappropriate, Miss Johnson.' 'I will have you know that I am a happily' - even though we both know that part is a whole ass lie - 'married man with three kids and this is not professional.' And there's also my personal favorite - "
"Are you done?"
Nurys pretended to ponder that for a moment longer as she drew closer to the steps of Constance, not even bothering to eye Clara and her group in lieu of focusing on this particular conversation. Henry had only called her three times with this being the third. All of their other meetings had been face-to-face, and mostly without Ivan. She didn't keep her brother out of things; they were a duo and that meant that she worked to get the both of them attention. She just hadn't needed him to be a witness to how she had received - or, well, taken - Henry Reynolds' attention. She heard the griping in her head enough to not want to deal with it in person. "Fine, fine. I'll stop," she conceded. She needed Henry on her side, not to antagonize him so much that he didn't want to deal with her at all. "To what do I owe this pleasant surprise, Henry?"
"You want studio time and good studio time, at that. I can give that to you, but I need more exposure on your part. You need to perform." Nurys listened without interjection then as she ascended the stairs. It occurred to her that perhaps exchanging a call with a man who had already been theorized to be having an affair behind is wife's back. Nurys knew their secrecy would be a thing of contention. At the same time, once Henry called on her to talk business instead of consistently telling her that she was too much, Nurys couldn't bother with those thoughts for too long. She had nothing to feel particularly guilty for when it came to this relationship. And if it just so happened that she could smirk more easily in Primrose's presence. "I have a friend who's performing at the Village Underground next weekend and they'll need an opening act to - "
"Are you serious?" Nurys hissed as she entered the front door, actually attempting to keep her voice down. "The village? Who the hell is looking for anyone at the - "
"It's not about who's looking at you there, it's about who looks once your performance is uploaded to the Internet," Henry interjected. "People come and go to the village, but they always record when they're there and share on social media. The good and the bad. You just need to make sure you're the best. Show that you can get a following. Once you do that, and you have to make the performance good, then we can talk about more."
Nurys didn't speak again for a moment, eyes near slits as she considered the possibility. "Consider it done. I gotta go." She didn't bother offering anything more; she hung up and after a beat, a slow grin formed on her face as she put the possibilities of next week on the back burner in favor of approaching a duo she was good on seeing. At least, she was happy to see one half of the duo. "And I was wonderin' when I'd get to see my baby daddy," Nurys exclaimed loud enough so that anyone nearby could hear her, which was probably the last thing Primrose would have wanted when she was interacting with her boyfriend. However, Tristan was Nurys' friend first and she couldn't be bothered with caring for the blonde's feelings. "Hey, you," she continued to greet and pressed a quick kiss to Tristan's cheek as she breezed past them. "Save you a seat, babe." Still grinning, Nurys continued down the hall, the students present parting immediately at each click of her heels against the linoleum.

While they had been talking and heading for the door, it took Ivan a second longer to see that Liam's eyes weren't focused just on him, but something over his head. Since Ivan had been the first one out the door, he turned around to glimpse the stranger in St. Jude uniform and raised an eyebrow at Liam, tipping his head towards the store as a reference when they reached his friend's car. Dante's attention was caught by the clicking of footsteps and he looked up from his phone to see the new maid attending to her duties. He looked her up and down. She was maybe a few years older than Dante, late twenties at the most unless she was aging exceptionally well. "Oh, I'm sorry Mr Lawson, I don't mean to disturb you."
And Eastern European. God his dad was such a cliche.
Dante smiled and waved away her apology. "I had to be up for school anyway. Don't worry about it." Dante finished the first of his many coffees of the day. "I don't think I caught your name."
"Milena, Mr Lawson."
"Milena," Dante echoed. "Hopefully you'll be sticking around a while." Dante shrugged his blazer on and picked up his school bag. "And it was a pleasure to finally meet you." His eyes were firmly glued to the back of her thighs as she cleaned down the kitchen counter. His phone buzzed, bringing him back to reality.
"Goodbye Mr Lawson."
Dante smiled to himself and began heading down to the lobby. The elevator doors binged close and Dante opened his messages.
Alas, no. Hangovers are for the weak. Why? Do you have one?
As much as I would like to, I would be late for school if I did.
And my dad hired a new maid. I swear he's so cliche it's painful
The car pulled up outside the gate to St Jude's and Dante stepped out. There was a buzz about the place that there hadn't been for a while. At least Gossip Girl was going to make this semester interesting. Given the content of the blast, Dante decided to give Clara and her minions a wide berth.
Save me a seat
Dante came into the shared hall and quickly ducked when he spotted Clara and her minions. He took a seat at the back of the hall. He dropped his bag on the seat next to him.
Or I'll save you one. Back right.

"My breathing has been perfect. All of it put into managing this assembly. I'm glad to see you got here!"
Penelope squeezed her friend for a brief moment before taking her usual place at Clara's side. "And risk missing the first day of school? Never."
Penelope took her coffee from Madison with a quiet thanks. Clearly, Madison was in the bad books with Clara again. Penelope sipped her coffee while Madison was scolded. She made a small 'oh' with her lips when the older guy was mentioned. That little chestnut then.
"By the way, have you heard from Dante or Sam? I haven't seen them yet."
"Speak of the devil, and he shall appear."
Penelope looked over her shoulder. Sam was smiling at Clara. "Behold my amazing summoning skills." she uttered over the rim of her coffee cup. She liked Sam, the problem was Penelope was pretty certain Clara had her sights on Sam. She wasn't sure if Clara held their friendship in high enough regard to not throw her under the bus to get Sam first. And Sam was a whole heap of trouble wrapped up with a very pretty bow. The media storm would be ridiculous and Penelope was going to keep that from her family's doorstep.

Turning and seeing Tristan made her feel so much better in an instant. "Well hey there, handsome. Are you really getting yourself into trouble already?" A kiss was placed on his cheek and she found it was a lot easier with the few inches her shoes added. Prim was about to speak when she was cut off by a voice that she most definitely did not want to hear. "Hey, you," A loud scoff was sounded as she gave Tristan's arm a little squeeze, glaring daggers at Nurys as she walked off. "Save you a seat, babe." In fact, her eyes didn't leave the other girl until she was out of sight. With an sigh, she looked back up to Tristan and wiped his cheek. "She's totally saying stuff like that to wind me up, right? Ugh..." Running perfectly manicured white nails through her pony tail, Prim took her hand in his and gas
"I'm going to have to go and see Clara and Sam before the assembly. You're free too come, but I didn't think you'd want to. For obvious reasons." She shook her head for a moment. Primrose was aware they'd be in the gym at the moment, and Clara would already have everything set up. Whether or not Dante had actually arrived was a different story, but her main concern was to see her circle of friends before everyone poured into the hall. Tristan probably wouldn't be too happy, but he'd understand. Of course, she felt crappy having to dash off, but it was way better than having Clara get pissy at her. "Save me a seat, alright? And for the love of God, please don't sit with Nurys." After giving his lips a quick peck, she smiled up at him after her locker was closed. "Love you, babe. See you in ten!"
With that said and a wave being given, Primrose began to dart in and out the students, resorting to pushing if needs be. It probably didn't help that she hand her nose buried in her phone, texting away frantically whilst making her way over.
You at school yet? I'm gonna try and get there at least a few minutes early to help in the auditorium. It's either that or hear about how lazy I am from Clara...
I'm coming now. Literally, I'll be about a minute, if that.
Keeping her phone at hand, she used the camera to swiftly check her hair before pushing open the door and entering the gym. Her heels clicked against the floor loudly, signalling that she was here. "Sorry for taking so long, I had to catch up with Trist. You didn't do bad setting everything up, Clara." She smiled pleasantly, lifting a hand to wave to Penelope and Sam. God, she genuinely missed seeing everyone together like this. Noting that Dante wasn't here made her frown and turn her head, just enough to catch a glimpse of him. He didn't even come over and say hi to everyone, what a shame."I didn't miss much, did I?"

Waltzing into school, her stride full of confidence, Willow notes that everyone seems to be here bright and early. Spotting Dante Lawson, Willow's eyes widened as she heads for the front of the hall where Clara stood, she makes sure to take the route that goes by where he sits, dropping a snide "Oh Dios mío, I never thought I'd see the day Dante Lawson arrived at school on time." not stopping to hear his response as she continues on - sending Nurys and Tristan each a small smile as she heads past them too.
Finally reaching where Clara stood with her usual posse, Willow's smile fades to being somewhat less genuine as she greets them all. "Hey guys, ugh the traffic was awful this morning." Willow begins, immediately getting in there with her excuse in hopes that Clara wouldn't then bring up her lateness. Stiffening a little when her eyes meet Sam's, Willow's obvious distaste for the guy writes itself all over her face for a millisecond before she wipes it off and it's replaced with that same smile.
Averting her gaze from the tall guy that stood right in front of her, Willow turned to look at Penelope, a much more friendly face. "Penny, you're looking cute today," Willow beams, Penelope was perhaps the one person within this 'popular' group that Willow could stand for more than fifteen minutes; she was a genuinely sweet girl that Willow found she actually had quite a lot in common with.
Then taking in her surroundings, Willow can't help but be a little impressed by Clara's work. "The hall looks great too." She concedes, not one to keep a compliment to herself simply because she's not the Queen Bee's biggest fan. During this entire greeting, Willow almost entirely ignores Primrose. Now Clara was bitchy and mean but Primrose was almost worse in Willow's eyes, she acted to sweet and cute but ever since Willow arrived at the school, she'd only ever been cold to her. Probably because Willow was so close with her boyfriend, she was worried that Willow might have feelings for him. Good thing she really only saw Tristan as a good friend.
Fiddling in her schoolbag, Willow emerges with her phone, deciding to send out a quick text while Clara and the girls put the finishing touches on the snack table. The assembly should be starting soon.
Where are u? Ur gonna get into deep shit if u miss assembly
Stuffing the phone back straight after the text is sent so that none of the stuffy teachers currently patrolling the hall could take it off her, Willow looks back at the group waiting to see if Clara was going to get her to do anything or if she could go sit down finally.

"If I knew devil worship would get you here, I would've done it sooner... it would've been nice if you showed up."
His mischevious smile didn't work on her as much as he thought it did. Her look of disapproval faded into a sigh. 'Not much I can do about it now.' She'll be nice about it for their friendship. The resident Queen and King Bee have been friends for years, their mothers putting them together. Sam was her social equal in every way. Clara couldn't help thinking of the Gossip Girl post. Sam may not be hers in a romantic sense, but things could happen. Everyone thought they were both cute and scary together. The fact that they weren't kept stories going of how she's a terrible that nobody could stand to be near her. There is nothing wrong with waiting for someone special, but it would be nice cease the rumors.
Clara's eyes caught movement in the back of the hall. Dante Lawson, another one of Clara's more complicated relationships. The playboy looked good today, but he always dressed impressively. Clara always had a fondness for the playboy. He's charming, attractive, and shared her love of finer things. However, his reputation stopped Clara from acting on her fascination. She wasn't going to be another knotch in his bedpost. Still, he could've said hello instead of ignoring everyone.
More of her group began to arrive: Prim first then Willow. Primrose had to see her boyfriend. Clara wanted to gag thinking about it. Her friends had the habit of dating people she didn't like, but Clara wasn't in the position to meddle. Her friend was happy and she'd be cordial, somewhat. Next was Willow, the frenemy. She's fresh blood and still open for molding. Clara smiled.
"We better find our seats. We have bigger things to talk about after: Sam's back to school party. Just warning you," turning to look at Sam, "If strippers show up I'm not coming."

Nurys little display didn't make Tristan's day any easier. The rivalry between the two musicians wasn't lost on him. Having a girlfriend who one of his friends didn't like wasn't easy. Tristan understands though. He wouldn't deny that Primrose has had it easier in life than some of his friends. Nurys had to work harder than Prim when it comes to their music careers. Although Tristan would never say this to Prim, but he does think it. "Relax, she's harmless." Well, Nurys is dangerous, but the flirting and overly affectionate attitude was just to piss off Primrose. The two both have their relationships and aren't planning to ruin it over some feud.
His grilfriend running off to see her friends wasn't completely uncommon. Did it bother Tristan? Yeah, but he can't say he's not used to it. Tristan chuckled thinking about it. How his past two relationships both were close with his enemies was laughable. Some say he loves the drama and he'd laugh along with it. His life is already a TV drama so might as well just go along with it."Go see your friends, it's fine. But no sitting next to Sam. I'll sit next to anybody else." As much as Tristan didn't like the Queen Bee, her king was even worse. Clara reluctantly accepted the relationship, but Sam has been meddling since the beginning. Being trapped next to Clara was more tolerable.
Tristan moved witht the crowd as everyone was making their way to the school hall. He let out a low whistle at the sight of it. Although it was the student council's task to plan and decorate the assembly, they just followed Clara's orders. She did a nice job, though Tristan wouldn't say that to her face. The catering looked amazing, Liam's family must have done it. Tristan recognized those sweets anywhere. Speaking of which, he hasn't arrived neither has Ivan. He'd have texted then, but Tristan could feel the staff's eyes on him. Maybe later...
Tristan noticed the school's resident playboy in the back. Dante was definitely in his good books. Tristan took a seat in front of Dante, turning around to face him. "Have any fun lately or hoping for that forbidden one?" Tristan couldn't help poking at Dante and Clara's... sexual tension. It's so funny. "Speaking of fun, am I still uninvited from the back to school bash?

Almost on cue, Clara pronounced that the set up was done, ordering everyone to follow her to grab seats. Sam fell in line behind Prim as he heard Clara bring up his party. "If strippers show up I'm not coming." He shook his head in laughter. "No worries hun. You girls and too much alcohol will be entertainment enough I'm sure." He was glad Clara had brought the party up though. He had forgotten to remind his driver to pick up the drinks. He slid his phone out of his pocket as he sat down next to Prim, being sure to throw a spiteful look back towards Tristan before he returned his attention to his message.
Forgot to tell you to pick up some drinks. Buy 20 six packs of Smirnoff Ice for the girls. Get plenty of beer for the guys. Get some vodka and some whiskey... plenty of sprite and coke for people to mix with. And buy a new lock for the liquor cabinet. We don't want anyone getting into my expensive shit. Just leave it all in the penthouse, and tell the maid to clean up and make a bunch of finger foods. I'll see you after school.

You mind advertising my party? You know when and where. The more people the better. I'm sure you'll be there yourself...
Sam was a regular GG tipper as he liked the drama it brought into his world. He felt he had built a good deal of credit with, not that it ever stopped her from posting about him. Sam smiled to himself thinking about the night ahead. This was his third year having this party, and it had gotten crazier every year. Clara's comment referred to the previous year, when, in their drunken glee, Dante and Sam had called a couple of strippers to crash the party. Of course, all the guys stuck around, but most of his closer girl friends left. He honestly wanted a good time for everyone, and Sam knew well enough that a mixture of solid location, good games, and plenty of alcohol would provide that. Him and Dante had a few things up their sleeve to make it interesting. He turned his attention to Prim when he realized he had hardly acknowledged her yet, "So I assume lover boy is gonna let you come tonight... I guess he can be your plus one. Don't tell him I let him come without an argument though." Sam rolled his eyes. Prim knew that Sam and Tristan had mutual disdain for one another. Sam didn't see any reason to sugarcoat it. In his opinion, Prim deserved better. He knew there was a line on what he could say though, and he often approached it without crossing it. His goal was never to offend Prim.

the transfer student
The Caucasian who was staring at Akio suddenly waved and smiled slightly. Akio was taken aback by the abrupt action, especially from someone he didn't know, but returned the gesture with a tip of his head and a smile he practiced so much in front of the mirror that it became an instinct by repetition.
"Here's your green tea latte! Tall," the woman at the front said brightly. Akio smiled politely, still regretting ordering something with so many calories. "Thank you," he responded, feeling a massive wave of relief when he heard his own Japanese accent being almost completely replaced by one that sounded like a native American English speaker's. Akio had spent a lot of time to sound like a native speaker in the languages he learned; English was harder for him than even Mandarin Chinese. "No receipt, please."
Akio spent the next ten minutes or so walking his memorized path to St. Jude's, all while downing his latte. He satisfyingly arrived at the shared courtyard between St. Jude's and Constance Billard well before the bell rang. Akio noticed all the other students - from both schools - socializing amongst themselves, but the Japanese teenager made no move to approach them. Why would he, after all? Akio had mistakingly not researched how American students acted, but no matter what country one was from, it was bound to not want someone you didn't know suddenly walk up to you and interrupt your conversation.

MSG:save me a seat, we just got here :(
Now, Liam was never late.....for school. For other things, yes, but school was something he was barely late for. He normally had excuses for being so but never bothered with them. He would shrug as he and Ivan walked through the hallways and eventually made their way to the auditorium. Searching for a familiar temperamental male, Liam eventually spotted Tristan. Who was sitting in front of......Dante Lawson. Liam knew he hung around Sam, and he wasn't very fond of him. But, Liam was not one to judge a person by their surrounding. Timidly the boy would sit in a seat on Tristan's right hoping he wasn't intruding and face forward towards the assembly, smelling his father's bakery goods.
