The man had no name. None right now in this land. He stood silent among the trees and shadows of the darkened woods around, his green hues staring blankly into the darkness. He had come for one purpose and one purpose only.

His clothes were darkened to help him camouflage himself with the darkness, although with what he hunted, it would do him little good except to hide from those who sided with what he hunted. Ones that had not be turned. Yet, that is. They did not have as sharp of senses as those monstrosities, and he could easily get away from them.

They were not his concern.

Instead, tonight, he had bound in his midst one of the underlings he sought so hard to eradicate. And he stared at it with almost the most bored expression. It. That's all he saw these creatures. Nothing more than just a sore on the face of the earth that needed to be cut off. Slowly he walked towards the creature again, his cloak moving with him as he did. "I will ask you one more time.. Where is the nest." He said rather calmly. "After this, I won't be asking again."

The lighter in his hand flicked open and closed with a soft 'click' sound, almost as if it threatened the vampire itself.

The man with no name smirked at the answer Driselda had given him. "Yeah. Okay." He muttered, lighting the lighter and letting the flame just barely graze against her bare skin slowly. Even to a human, it would be painful. More so for a vampire like her. He would hold it there for a moment, only to realize with slight interest the misty fog that had started to surround him.

A wolfish grin spread across the man's face, his eyes flashing slightly at the realization of what was going on. A husky chuckle escaped his throat. "I didn't think she would draw so much attention if she were missing." He said earnest. "Or did you show by mistake?" He spoke straight to Alucard. His free hand started under for one of his guns under his long black cloak. He couldn't see clearly the shape or outline of the vampire, but he could see the crimson eyes.

This one was more of a threat to the nameless man than the one he had tied to the tree. Silently he moved away from both, forming a triangle in between the trio.

"It would be a beautiful night, if it were not filled with creatures such as yourself." He stated firmly. "People should enjoy the night, not be afraid of what lingers in the shadows. Fowl beasts such as yourself should not exist."

He pushed the zippo lighter down into his pocket and pulled out his second revolver, costume made for his purposes. Both were filled with silver, which was a weakness for most vampires and werewolves. Unfortunately, not for all.

"Perhaps I should."

The man's wolf-like grin never left his scarred maw, but none the less, he had to admit he wasn't prepared to take on an elder vampire in this current condition. Still, didn't look like he had much of a choice.

He reached into his cloak again, holstering one of the guns long enough to pull out a cig and light it. He puffed the smoke out, watching the vampire pull out a blade with disinterest. "No." He spoke honestly, putting his pack of smokes and lighter away and pulling something out slowly from his pouch. "But I gotta feelin' I'm gonna find out." He said gruffly.

Swiftly, he pulled out a flare, the one you cracked to light. He cracked it across his knee, keeping his eyes averted from the bright light that now illuminated the darkened woods and tossed it towards the vampire.

In his next movement, he'd rush to the right, pulling out his other revolver once again and fired twice, once with each gun, towards Alucard.

The bullet did not harm the vampire, but his did not surprise the hunter. However, this usually meant the man was about to become the hunted. As stated clearly before, he had not been prepared to handle an elder vampire.

Even the light had not phased the creature, although he had more used it for his own benefit. He couldn't see the vampire in the dead of night, especially in the shadows. He was mostly in a disadvantage as the night gave it strength.

But he laughed. A slightly insane, gruff of a chuckle that resonated through the woods. "It's been a long time since I've seen one such as yourself." He muttered finally. "Let's have some fun, you and I." His magazines slid out of the bottom of each gun and he popped each with another round of magazines from his pants. This time loaded with explosive rounds. He started to run the opposite direction from Alucard, firing one shot towards the vampire as if to test how well it would work.

The man continued to run the opposite direction, but would eventually be hindered by the bats that Alucard had released. He blocked his face and his eyes from their wings and claws, but he could not block the sound. Which meant he was blind as to where Alucard was exactly other than right behind him.

His voice, however, came through clear. "Maybe." He growled gruffly, turning back around to fire two more rounds of the explosive ammo although he was sure it would not slow the creature down.

Swiftly he backed himself to a tree and sliced his hand. Not smart to do for a vampire, but hey it was what he had left. With his back against the tree, he watched the shadow of the man creep towards him slowly and he drew a rune into the tree with his blood.

"What is it hell calls you?"

Alucard. A name he had once heard a long time ago, although he thought it merely a rumor. Or that he had died years ago. His green eyes sharpened as the darkness overtook him. He showed no fear, not now. Maybe his road had finally come to an end, and he'd face it as he had always faced any situation.

"A monster, you say? Even a monster has a place in this world, but I have a feeling you have no place left yourself." He chuckled gruffly, his hand dripping on into the void around him. He stared back into those eyes, eyes he could never forget in his lifetime. "I am a man of no name in this land and no bounds. I came to eradicate all beings such as yourself from this land. But it seems the final exam came before I was able to study."

"Then even if that part of you is dead, you should know and understand what and why I do this." The man spoke without fear in the face of the vampire. "But it is not just your.. Kind. More like any abomination that walks the earth, even the filth of werewolves.." He growled.

However, the fact that the vampire was closer than he would like was evident. "But that also includes you." He growled. He thrusted the guns in front of him and pulled the trigger with the explosive rounds once again.

Alek was caught back in a hard place. He lowered both guns once again, allowing his one hand to feel for the rune he had been drawing before the darkness had consumed him. Once there, he continued to draw upon it.

"Who said I wanted to tame you." He said simply. The sword sank into the wood without him flinching. He was in the same position he had pretty much placed the other monster in a few moments earlier. And it thrilled him. "What will you do, then? Knowing I will hunt you until my last breath?" He murmured, stalling as best he could to finish drawing the rune slowly.

The man physically shivered at the stare. He couldn't bid himself to look away, even if he wanted to. "I bet you could." He muttered. "A foul beast as yourself, I doubt anything besides summoning the devil himself could be possible for you."

"I'm a man of God, and I ain't married. What do you think? Or right.. You don't have that purpose anymore. So what do you do in your lonely life besides killing virgins in your spare time, eh?"

The man smiled a wolfish grin in the face of death incarnate. He had finished his rune and he was pretty sure it would work still. "And if I choose neither? What then?"

"You act as if this is the last time we'll see each other. But even if you were to turn me into the monsters I loathe so much... I would still hunt until the day there are no more of you god forsaken creatures on this earth. And then I'll have the pleasure of turning the bullet upon myself just the same." He growled.

He would then try to smack his bloody hand upon the rune to activate it. If so, he would be teleported only a few yards away, but enough to try to escape once more.

Alek had never been this out matched before. He was simply trying to find the nest before he took a big job like this on by himself. But the man ran for his life, knowing at any moment it could end like the flicker of flame before it ran out of fuel.

And this was it.

Alek could very well see the cloaked figure from the side of his vision. He lifted up the pistol that had the most rounds in it left and fired twice before dropping the magazine on it. He ran as he had become the hunted in this match, not willing to go down without a fight.

His heart pounded in his chest as if it knew his time was up. But none the less, the man laughed a wicked laugh. It had been a good long run.

Suddenly being pounced on with claws, the man tumbled hard to the ground, his head bouncing off the dirt beneath him as he did so. Stars flashed in his eyes as he looked at the demonic thing. He threw a punch under the chin, or tried to at least, trying to get her to get off the man.

He also dropped his newly reloaded pistol, which didn't make him feel any better. Dazed and angry, he would punch, kick or claw at the woman until he was either free or dead.

The man did struggle. He truly did. But against this kind of strength, he was nothing in comparison. He had doomed himself from the beginning. "Let me go.." He hissed before she clamped down upon his neck. "Or I swear, you'll be the first.. On my list.."

The man flinched as she bit down on his neck, a sharp groan escaping his throat as he did so. He knew bites weren't what needed to be what one worried about, but the blood of the vampire turning him.

Silently, he resolved to himself that he was being turned into a monster. He closed his green hues, his body relaxing. 'My Father.. Who art in heaven..' He began to recite mentally. "Forgive me.."

Silently, the man suffered, if not from pain, but from the fact he hated what he was becoming. He had tainted blood within him now. He hissed as the woman let him go, grabbing the pistol he had dropped and scooting away from the two of them until his back was against a tree.

"You happy now..?" He growled, his voice gruff and pained. "Had to bring another down to your level, eh Alucard..?" An instinctual and unquenchable hunger came over him. He let go of both pistols, letting both fall to his sides, raising his arms up to let his fingers tangle with his his ebony hair.

The man growled, showing his newly forming fangs to the now band of bats that escaped noisily into the night. "You think I will do your bidding?! Monster, come back and face me!" He yelled, his voice echoing off the trees.

For most of half an hour, he sat there, his mind racing. He was angry. Not at the creature, but at himself. He was now a monster. One of the things he hunted and killed with pleasure. The things he purified from this world in the name of the Holy Father.

"This.. Changes.. Nothing.." He hissed to himself, slowly standing and picking up his pistols along the way. "Except I am one of the damned now.. And I shall use this curse to hunt every last one of the bastards down and bring them all down with me.." He proclaimed.

The man stumbled in, as if he were already drunk, but he held himself like a man that had nothing left to lose. Slowly, he made his way to the counter in which he sat looking as if he were in between sobbing or ripping something to shreds.

His ebony hair was a dark contrast to his extremely pale skin, and his eyes as bright red as the blood stains that lined down his neck. The man was in agony. Not physically, but emotionally turmoiled at what had occurred. The muscle along his jaw tightened as he leaned forward and wrapped his arms around his head, his fingers tangling with his ebony locks.

But the most torment of all was the sounds and smells. Every heart that beat was like the blood that use to beat in his own ears. The smells were intoxicating. The fledgling barely had enough strength to withstand taking one of the nearest patrons and draining them dry. It was by his faith, he kept from murdering people right there on the spot.

"Rum.. Now.." He growled.

Crimson hues slowly shifted over to Varius, both dumbfounded and more than a little irritated. He reached around to his pouch, revealing a rather large pistol on his side from underneath the cloak. He pulled out what looked to be his ID, one that was taken not too long ago, although his eyes were green in the picture. "Satisfied?" His gruff voice growled, fangs showing as he spoke.

Alek grunted as he shoved his ID back into his pouch. "Thanks." He hissed before downing the container of rum in one go. The stuff burned, but more than usual. It was almost like spikes being forced down his throat. He nearly choked on the stuff, coughing and grabbing his neck as it went down.

"Sonva.." He cursed. He glared at Fetu as he sat next to him as if it was his fault he had choked.

The spider child also stole his attention, if only for a minute.

"More, please.." The man asked, placing down bills to cover the alcohol.

"Maybe.." He grumbled, his voice gruff. Of course he didn't actually blame the man for it.

His eyes shot back to the spider child, his red hues sitting on her like ice. "This is no place for a kid.." He growled.

"I can handle my drinks.." He muttered irritably. Though as soon as more was brought to him, he again choked, none the less. He beat on his chest hard as if to help it go down. But alas, he could not get drunk off this stuff. And the smell and sounds would not leave him be.

"I see a problem with it.." He muttered, although it was more in worry he'd lose it and something would happen to the child.

"Yeah, ya don't think I haven't noticed?" The fledgling bared his teeth at Fetu. He wasn't doing it on purpose. He had just been turned within a few hours time. "I can't eat, I can't sleep, and now I can't even drink the bloody booze I want.." He growled, tossing the empty container across the room with strength and speed that was uncanny to his older human abilities.

Alek rolled his eyes at Fetu. "Ya think?" He asked sarcastically. He was quickly losing his temper, with every beat of a pulse that entered this place.

"I'll throw whatever the hell I want." He said rather loudly at Varius. "Ya get paid to do that sort of thing."

The man's crimson eyes locked on to Varius. "How the fuck am I suppose to calm down? My world has literally just been flipped upside down, and I come here to find a drink to help me calm down.. Guess what, I can't drink the damned thing anymore. And there is this beating sound that is migraine inducing, except it is not coming from my chest. Oh no, it's everyone else's." He waved his hands around before slamming his fists down on the counter. "And you know what?" He turned to the child, his eyes glaring. "If you repeat any of those words again, I'm going to wash your mouth out. With soup."
