Amasis's Story

Irirani was making her way towards Amasis' station when a trooper rushed up to her.

"Ma'am we have reports of weapons fire in sector 517. The Flamebringer caught the warp signature of a ship but it was gone before the Flamebringer could make contact." the trooper reported.

Irirani frowned. "So much for this being an unvisited world..." she sighed. "Have squad load up in a shuttle with Death Glider escort. Recon only unless engaged. Also tell the comms officer to send a report on this to Pax Arcana."

"As you order Ma'am!"

After the trooper saluted and left Irirani turned to Amasis. "So what is you are working on here?" She asked the male.



As Irirani spoke a shuttle and four Death Gliders took to the sky.

Keith nexus walks around for no reason

Amasis nodded to the trooper and rushed excitedly around a large shell. It was that of a turtle, nearly as big as he was. There were intricate geometric patterns across the bulges of the shell and it was very hard. Amasis gave it a knock.

"Turtle shell, massive! The Xamoyan turtle has yet to be officially spotted, but here! See how strong this is?" Amasis gave it another hard rap.

Irirani took at look at the large shell as she silently tapped her chin. "Hmm... quite the find.." she said running her claw over the shell. "Run some tests on it... see how it reacts to..."

Irirani's comm buzzed and the voice of a commando known only as Vyper came over the comm. "Ma'am we have done a fly over of the area dubbed Draco's Valley... but we have detect what appears to be a city of some kind several miles from our LZ do we land in the valley as planned or make contact with the town?"

As Irirani moved off to finish her call in private a young female about Amasis' age from the same class in fact came up with smile. "Hi i'm Amikio! You are uh... Amasis right?" She bounced a little nevousily her tail twitching as she looked at the shell. "So Uh what ya working on?"

AUK-53 walks up to the research center, rifle back over his shoulder, and says in his monotoned voice, "Hello." in an attempt to bring forth the beings that resided here. From his observations of the area, it seemed to be a... honestly he didn't know. So he hits his fist on the door three times. Hopefully they need a soldier.

AUK-53 gives up, and AUK-53 walks away. He'll return again, he thinks, and hopefully the beings he is sure are in the building will respond.

AUK-53 comes back, for one reason: He has nowhere to go, and this seems to be the only place to go with a possibility of civilization. Hopefully they need a soldier, as he has to have something to do, or he will shut down until re-activated by someone who needs him, and what are the chances of that with him hidden in the forest?

AUK-53 hits his fist on his plated head in frustration, then walks away, searching for some other life.
